HOT! by Kathy LoveWhy they did not tell him at once is one thing I wonder about. But hey it's about the drama and tension. But please people, oh you work for demons btw. How hard is that to say? But it was a fun short one, maybe I can only do pnr in small doses. What Slays In Vegas by Angie FoxSuccubus meets demon slayer. Here I did not mind if it was lust quickly cos she is succubus and he paid for it ;) Fun.I think PNR actually still works for me, BUT only if there is humour included. I so do NOT do the whole:"You are my soul mate. We are destined for each other, and if we do not boink at once, I will wander the deserts alone. I will climb the holy mountain of MT NotBoinked, lay down and die. If you change your mind, or if your holy parts needs me, then You will find my rotten corps there and my still beating heart. To forget me you will have to lay down and die next to me, or eat my bloody heart and never love again."Sheesh, drama much. The Bride Wore Demon Dust by Lexi GeorgeOk so this guy was your typical alpha. "You hot, me hot. We boink". All while he was SO not in love with her, even though he was SO in love with her. But he was a tough warrior who does not feel love. But hey it was amusing.3 fun stories. I was amused.

"So I Married a Demon Slayer" is an anothology of three short stories about, you guessed it, demon slayers and the women they love. The first story, "Hot!" is about a struggling photographer who takes a job in the mailroom of the biggest fashion magazine in the world, "Hot!" in an attempt to work his way up. What he doesn't realize is that Hot! is a demon-run organization, and many of the employees are either demons or have sold their souls to get where they are. Of course he falls in love with a model who sold her soul, and must do anything he can to save her soul. What this is, I have no idea - spoiler alert - the story ends before anything is actually resolved. Bottom line - ehh.The second story - What Slays in Vegas - was better. A half succubus working for an evil demon finds herself tied to a demon slayer who is sworn to send her boss back to hell. Good story, fun interaction, tied to a series - I'll be checking out more books by Angie Fox.The final story - the reason I picked this book up in the first place - is "The Bride Wore Demon Dust" by Lexi George. I really enjoyed the novel "Demon Hunting in Dixie" - so funny and such a great read. This story sort of felt like the "same thing only different." Same gags, same story, just a different couple, and obviously in a condensed version. Still good, and I still found myself chuckling a few times, but not the laugh out loud experience of the first book. All in all, if you like paranormal anthologies, it's a good quick read.

So I Married a Demon Slayer by Kathy Love, Angie Fox, and Lexi George is a light paranormal romance anthology. In Love's HOT!, photographer Charlie Bowen has to start somewhere, so he takes a job in the mailroom of HOT! fashion magazine. Charlie hopes to get his photographs in front of the magazine's editor, but instead, he gets involved with beautiful model Ava Wells. But there's more going on at the magazine and with Ava than meets the eye.In Fox's What Slays in Vegas, half-succubus Shiloh is happy enough working in a demon's casino, serving his customers' every desire -- until she meets sexy demon slayer Damien. He's on a mission to kill the demon, and Shiloh agrees to help him -- after they wake up married with no memory of how it happened in true Vegas fashion. And finally, in George's The Bride Wore Demon Dust, Bunny Raines thinks that she's married her dream guy in Rafe Dalvahni -- until a demon attacks her and Rafe tells her that he's really an ancient, demon-slayer warrior. That's not exactly the way that Bunny wants to start her honeymoon ...I like anthologies because you get to try several authors in one book. Plus, they're good to read when you're pressed for time. You spend a few minutes, finish a story, and then can put the book down to go do whatever you need to. However, most anthologies have their ups and downs, and this one did for me.Love's story had a lot of promise (demons run the fashion industry), but it seemed like it was all buildup. By the time Charlie figures out what's going on and what everyone (including Ava) is hiding from him, the story is over. There aren't really any bad guys on the page for very long, and none of them get what's coming to them. It felt more like a setup for a future book than a complete story. This story really dragged down the whole anthology for me.Fox's story is part of her Demon Slayer series. I thought it was an interesting idea -- demons feeding off the desires of all the gamblers in Vegas. Shiloh and Damien have lots of chemistry, even though they don't really trust each other at first. Plus, I liked the secondary characters, like Rufus, the hellhound. There was also a lot of action in this book, which I always enjoy.George's story is set in the same world as her book, Demon Hunting in Dixie, and it was entertaining in places, if a little slapsticky. I liked how Bunny's wedding rapidly deteriorated and how everyone in town revealed their secrets when they were under the demon's influence. However, I didn't like Rafe very much. His race of warriors are known for their emotionless control, and he doesn't think that he loves Bunny because that would be a weakness (but of course he does). But Rafe keeps insisting that he doesn't love her, and that got a little tiresome.Overall, though, if you're looking for a lighter paranormal read, you might check out this anthology.

This was a pretty good book. I liked all the stories, but the last two more than the first one. The first one would get three stars, but the other two would get four. I loved the characters and the story lines. I wouldn't mind reading this again, but more for passing time or something to read. Great for reading but not a go-to. Enjoy!

Hot! Kathy LoveSetting: garment district New York; local bar; Theme: honor; love; goodnessCharacters: Finola White: demon, powerhouse behind a fashion house; evil; Ava Wells aka Addy Wellmeyer: from Ohio; her mother always wanted to be a model, so she took up her mother’s dream, trading her soul to be one (approached by Finola).Charlie Bowen: wanna be fashion photographer from Kansas; takes a job as a mail clerk in White’s company, hoping to be able to make connections with someone who can give a chance.Summary:Charlie doesn’t quite understand the other mail clerks in the building, who often seem to be talking in code; they take him up to the 15th floor, where Finola has her offices, and he’s sure it is a trick of the light when some people seem to have a hideous face for a second, and others have a yellow glow around them. He overhears Finola dressing down beautiful model Ava Wells, and after hours, seeing her distressed, follows her down a hall – to the janitor’s room – where she is binging on HoHos. He is gentle and kind to her, eating a HoHo himself, and escorts her out – and she invites him to have a drink… they do… he sees a different, more wholesome beauty in her; and when she invites herself to his apartment, he agrees. They talk a bit, he can tell she is upset but respects that she doesn’t want to talk about it; she makes a pass at him, he kisses her, and wants her, but says no – he doesn’t want her to regret anything. He leaves her to refill their glasses, and returns to find her asleep in his bed… he lays down next to her, falls asleep, and awakens to her touch… they make glorious love (is there any other kind?)… she leaves before he wakes up again. And she ignores and stays out of his way for the next 3 weeks… and it looks like he’s going to get a chance to show his work to one of the 15th floor (to whom he has been delivering special packages after hours)… but he literally runs into Ava, she pretends not to know him (Finola is near by)… and when he gets home, she is there, wanting to apologize… She explains a bit… they make glorious love… he asks her to stay while he goes to work and the meeting – she wants to warn him not to sell his soul… at the meeting, he is told about the mail room demon slayers, and that he has a special talent (seeing real faces and glows of those who sold their soul).. and when they agree to help him free Ava, he agrees to help them. ahhhhWhat Slays in Vegas – Angie FoxSetting: Seven Deadly Sins Casino, Las Vegas; places on the strip; his New York New York hotel room; a safe house in the desert.Theme: love; saving; protection; powerCharacters:Shiloh: half Succubus/half human; for a millennium she is used for others; she needs sex for the lifeforce it gives her; she is working for Napthulo, whom she helped set up, but who does not like or respect her; she is generally given the other 6 deadly sins, not lust (like sloth or gluttony); Damien: a demon slayer, assigned to find Napthulo’s portal, suck him and his cronies back into hell and to close the portal; he has a truth telling drug to use on a succubi, and contracts for one Napthulo: powerful demon lord in Las Vegas; Rufus / Fawzi: hell hound and ifrit – and Shiloh’s friendsSummary:– but he gets Shiloh (who needs sex, and bribes the assigner with a special root beer); he uses the drug on her, but it doesn’t work right – and they get drunk, act silly all over the strip, and get married… waking up with hangovers, and no memory – but wedding rings and pictures. And because she is bound to him, her ‘succubus’ power only affects him – no one else. And they find they like each other; and she helps him gain access to the portal (in Napthulo’s room) – gaining his promise to save her two friends (the hell hound and the ifrat/genie)… and it becomes important to Damien to save her – to give her options/choices. And as he tries to reverse the portal, and Napthulo is trying to stop him, she realizes he needs her power to compliment his… and it works, the demons are being sucked back into hell… but then the portal starts to suck her in, and he throws his power and love to her, pulling her back. ahhhhThe Bride Wore Demon Dust by Lexi GeorgeSetting: church and library in Hannah, the Deep South; a gas station store; a beach house on the Carolina coast; her mother’s backyard.Theme: emotion; love; sacrifice; choiceCharacters:Rafe Dalvahni: djegrali (demon) slayer; of a race that came into being and trained to fight djegrali throughout the universe; sent to earth (hasn’t been here since horse and carriage days) and in tracking a djegrali, he sees Bunny in the library window, and is fascinated – then follows a demon in who has all but killed her – he holds her, and gives her some of his life force (a no-no) to save her, and make her like him; and he spends time with her and agrees to marry her, justifying it by his need to keep her safe from the demon that has a taste of her… only emotions he has ever felt is anger, justice, and lust – all Dalvahni should feel… thinks his brother Dalvahni is weak because he has fallen in love… Bunny Nicole Raines: small town librarian; vague memory of attack; highly responsive to Rafe; she has Dumb Bunny and Smart Bunny in her head – one that will do whatever to be with Rafe, and the other that is cynically pointing out to her how she is changed (she wants lots of sugar at random times, she wanted watermelon and was suddenly in front of the watermelon at the store with no memory of walking there, she opened a jar of mayonnaise, and it burst in her hand (too strong), and the cut was healed within 5 minutes) and how Rafe won’t stay with her for long.Brand Dalvahni and Addy Corwin: brother to Rafe & his wife; he challenges Rafe to be honest with himself about his feelings (which is the honorable thing to do) – and they have a fisticuffs (which Brand wins to Rafe’s surprise, since he thought Addy made him weak) that finally knocks some sense into Rafe.Summary:Bunny is head over heels in love… she cannot help but love him, even when she finds out he is ‘alien’ after the wedding ceremony (because a demon shows up, and he fights him). The wedding reception is crazy because of a cloud of demon dust (her brothers and others skinny dip in the river; couples say things to each other (both spiteful and others loving) that would not be said in public; she dives head first into the wedding cake because she needs the sugar… and Brand restores all after the cloud disperses, and plants happy memories in everyone’s minds.A confused Bunny does run away from the wedding – heading for the beach house. The demon finds her (in the body of her old high school nemesis) – but when Bunny realizes it, she literally kicks her out of the car, losing the passenger door. Rafe can’t help but to follow her – talking her brother into driving him to her… they have a week of passion and honeymooning, where Bunny keeps the ‘I love yous’ to herself, and he keeps a part of himself separate from her… they return to a party at her parents – her mother figures out she’s pregnant… he is panicked and heads out to ‘find a fight’ – and his brother knocks sense into him… hallelujahMemorable scenes:“Something buried deep inside of him stirred to life, as though he’d waited for this moment throughout the long, dark tunnel of his existence. It was a ridiculous notion, of course. Proof positive that unwholesome forces were at work.”“A Dalvahni warrior was a rock, unworn by time, need or loneliness, an island fortress complete unto himself.”  “Your emotional involvement with the female Addy Corwin. She is responsible for your deteriorated state.”She felt like “someone else, someone daring and wild, a tigress, not a bunny. He made her feel beautiful. He made her shiver and weep with joy…”

But the bride is a spunky steel magnolia with special powers of her own, determined to drop-kick evil forces across the state line and give her slayer a run for his moneyStarting with Kathy Love her 98 page novella is called "HOT". Hot is the name of a fashion magazine where Charlie wants to work as a staff photographer. He gets in working as a mail room employee but something isn't right. People in the mail room act as if the world depended on them getting the mail delivered and people on the 15 floor look off to him. He keeps seeing things and thinking it must be the lighting. He meets super model Ava Wells and clicks with her but there is sadness in her eyes and he feels something is going on with her. Turns out he is a demon slayer. Go figure. This one was just eh? There wasn't much to the story really and it felt kind of ho hum for me. I don't think i've read Kathy Love before so I'm not going to say i wouldn't read her again because this doesn't seem like a fair representation of her work.Next up is Angie Fox and her novella "What Slays in Vegas". There is a note in the book that says that this story takes place 1 year after the events in "The Dangerous Book of Demon Slayers." Before i read this i went to her website to see if this was part of a series or just a novella on it's own. It's part of a series and browsing the website i got the gist of the series it goes with. I hope to read a few of the other books in this series in the future based on what i saw there. This novella is 82 pages and there is quite a lot of story packed into it. Shiloh is a half demon half human succubus working for a demon literally from hell in Las Vegas. She's been used by many in the thousands of years she's been around. Then one day she gets assigned to Damien in the Lust room. He thinks he's getting a full succubus and when he drugs her with a truth serum to find out secrets about her boss the master demon he gets nothing. He does wake up married the next morning with Shiloh in his hotel bed. Neither remembers what happened. Damien decides to use Shiloh to get what he wants. Thing is what he is starting to want for keeps is her. I really liked this one and hope to read the other books that go with this one. This one had some funny stuff and some sweet stuff going for it. Definitely worth reading.Last we have Lexi George. Her novella is a whopping 132 pages or so of the most hilarious stuff ever. The novella is called The Bride Wore Demon Dust. The first sentence of the story goes like this. "Bunny's wedding was perfect, beautiful, tasteful and refined--until her husband tried to kill the photographer." At first i thought BUNNY? seriously? Then i remembered Lexi's last book Demon Hunting in Dixie and how funny it was. Ah yes this is going to a funny paranormal. A few sentences later and i was laughing my ass off literally. Rafe and Brand his brother from Demon Hunting in Dixie are demon slayers. He's come to see why big brother Brand went gaga over a women. The Dalvahni are warrior demon slayers. They don't fall in love. Bunny is the town librarian and Rafe meets her when he saves her from what she thinks was a mugger. It wasn't of course it was a demon. In order to save her though Rafe had to give her some of his essence so now she is like him. He marries her in order to protect her but doesn't explain exactly what he is and what she now is until the they are attacked by the photographer at the wedding who has been taken over by a demon. What follows is some of the funniest stuff I've read in a while. I was in tears laughing so hard. Had to read out loud some of the dialogue to my adult son who was here at the time and he was laughing too. I like my humour in any book but i usually don't get this much. Bunny can't believe what she's just been told and takes off, literally. She jumps in the pink Mary Kay wedding car all decorated up for the wedding and takes off in her wedding dress for the house on the coast where she and Rafe were supposed to have their honeymoon. In the meantime Rafe goes after her. Does he ever figure out that yes Dalvahni do love? You bet! He also gets the surprise of his life before the end. Bunny is hiding a pretty big secret herself. Here are some links for you to check out these authors and see what other books they have in the works.www.angiefox.wordpress.comwww.readkathylove.comwww.lexigeorge.comI give So I Married a Demon Slayer 4 out of 5 Modokker Book Pick Stars. The Lexi George book was the best of the 3 by far for me but i enjoyed them all. I can recommend Lexi George's debut book Demon Hunting in Dixie if you like humorous paranormal romance. It comes before this novella but each can be read alone.

I love the Biker witches/Demon Slayer books - they are great fun. I chose this as I thought it would be in the same vein. Unfortunately not for me - too much sex and not enough story. For me the balance was completely out and I found the three stories dull.

So I Married a Demon Slayer By: Kathy Love, Angie Fox, Lexi GeorgeCopyright: September 2011Publisher: Brava (Paranormal Romance)Hot! By Kathy LoveAt Hot! Magazine, the devil really does wear Prada. When the CEO is an actual demon and the mail room guys are undercover demon slayers, it's not beyond the realm of possibility for an up-and-coming photographer and a model possessed by much more than a sweet tooth to fall in love. What Slays In Vegas by Angie FoxWhen a sexy succubus comes up against a fearless demon slayer intent on killing her boss, a truly wild Vegas night turns into a quickie wedding. But in a city where anything goes, a demon slayer wedding a succubus is strictly forbidden. Which doesn't mean either is rushing to jump out of the marriage bed. The Bride Wore Demon Dust by Lexi GeorgeHe's perfection in a tuxedo—more so out of it—and on a mission to protect his Alabama gal from the mysterious mayhem intent on her destruction. But the bride is a spunky steel magnolia with special powers of her own, determined to drop-kick evil forces across the state line and give her slayer a run for his money. So I Married a Demon Slayer is a trio of novellas based on a common theme. Hot! By Kathy LoveFinola White the CEO of Hot! Magazine is a real demon. She is also a Micro Manager of everyone who works for her. She also insists that everyone who works for her is physically handsome or beautiful. Finola fires or disappears people who displease her and is now faced with having to replace a worker in the mail room. What that poor person did is never quite explained. Now enter Charlie, a young man who feels his future is in fashion photography (he is actually quite good). He applies for the mail room position to get a foot in the door, and hopes that he will have the opportunity to show his portfolio to someone who can help him with his dream. Charlie finds the people in the mailroom rather strange, but figures it won’t matter if he just does his job and moves up the ladder to his dream. Along the way he will meet the beautiful Ava Wells, a Super Model who he dreams of doing a photo shoot with one day. Ava and Charlie will meet under strange circumstances one evening and their lives will take new directions. This story is hot and steamy, and full of surprises. What Slays in Vegas What do you get when you cross a half human succubus with a demon slayer? You get a formula guaranteeing a great story. Shiloh is on the bottom of the pile (succubus wise), she is only given enough work to keep her barely fed. She begs a job with more teeth and ends up in the bed of Damien. One drunken evening later, the two wake up and find themselves married. Oh the shame of it. HE, married to a succubus. SHE, married to a demon slayer. Damien and Shiloh both want the same thing. She wants free from her boss, and he just wants to get rid of the demons. It’s gonna be a bumpy, sexy ride. You just have to read this. The Bride Wore Demon DustThe bride (Bunny Nicole Reines) is gorgeous in her white gown. The Groom (Rafe Dahlvani) is the reason tuxedos were invented. Bunny is (or was) human, Rafe if a time and dimension hopping demon hunter. He saved Bunny’s life, and shared his own life force with her to keep her alive. Dahlvani don’t have feelings. Dahlvani don’t fall in love. Somehow Bunny’s charms and his very new feelings are going to lead them into a very long and interesting marriage. That’s all I’m going to tell you for now. Read the story, have a laugh, and be titillated by their love. FTC Full Disclosure: I received this book from the publisher, who did so hoping for a fair and impartial review.

Review Courtesy of Dark Faerie Tales Quick & Dirty: Three light-hearted reads that are good for any day of the week. The Review:“HOT!” by Kathy LoveThis story takes place in the brutal world of high fashion publishing in the otherwise beautiful present day New York City. A one-time small town girl from Kansas, Addy Wellmeyer, now known as Ava Wells, has sold her soul to a demon in exchange for a promise of fame and fortune. Now she just wishes for the simple things in life. Charlie Bowen is still that same small town boy from Ohio, willing to risk it all for a chance at his own fame and fortune as a high profile fashion photographer. But little does he know that he may very well be risking everything to work for these particular “people”. He is a little more talented than he thought, and the world is quite a bit stranger than even he dreamed. Cute premise, cuter story… wondering if there are more.Rating: 4/5“What Slays in Vegas” by Angie FoxThis story takes place in current day Las Vegas and has a rather human like premise; basically What Happens in Vegas meets CSI. You see, succubus Shiloh and undercover demon slayer Damien meet each other in a casino and end up married after a night of sex, drinks and rock and roll. When reality sets in the next morning, neither can remember what happened that night, but both are quite obviously wearing rings on their fingers. For entirely different reasons, neither of them are supposed to take on a spouse, or have any deeper feelings for anyone, much less each other. After the truth is revealed, Damien feels he must find a way to satisfy both his job and his soul, by taking down the demons he was after while saving his half-breed wife. There is, I am assuming, some conceptual tie-ins with the rest of Angie Fox’s Accidental Demon Slayer series, but it is not necessary to have any back story to enjoy this novella. And I certainly enjoyed this story.Rating: 4/5“The Bride Wore Demon Dust” by Lexi GeorgeWelcome to Hannah, Alabama. Your average sleepy little town…..or is it? Bunny Nicole Raines is a small town librarian with a name that belongs in the lineup of your closest gentlemen’s club who suddenly lands a man straight out of every woman’s personal wet dreams. When a whirlwind courtship leads to a perfect wedding, Bunny thinks she has it all…until something happens during her reception.Rafe Dalvahni is a groom with a rather large secret, one he’s even been keeping from his bride. You see, he’s an immortal demon slayer from another planet. And, when he has to fight a demon to protect his bride, well, you could say the cat gets let out of the bag. Needless to say, the bride isn’t all that happy, and Rafe must spend the rest of the story convincing her that he is best bet. That is, if he can convince himself first.I definitely felt completely out of the loop while reading this novella. I am left with more than a few questions about her species, concepts, settings, and the all around plotlines. Maybe, reading the previous story, Demon Hunting in Dixie, would shed a bit of light upon the subject. I think I’d like to revisit this story after reading the first one. Maybe I would like it more.Rating: Not SureFTC Advisory: Kensington Books provided me with a copy of So I Married a Demon Slayer. No goody bags, sponsorships, “material connections,” or bribes were exchanged for my review.

Three fun filled stories about demon slayers. (1) Hot! By Kathy Love. Things are not what they seem. Staring at the bottom and working your way to the top is hard. But, this job has a few more twist & upturns in it. (2) What Slays in Vegas by Angie Fox. Love at first sight? Making a connection? You never seem to be ready especially if it's with a demon slayer and your a demon! (3) The Bride Wore Demon Dust by Lexi George. Protecting the one you love is easy. Saying it...not so much.

http://ismellsheep.blogspot.com/2011/...This is a light and fun paranormal romance anthology about sexy demon slaying men falling in love. Angie Fox was the only author I was familiar with, but I was looking forward to trying out the new authors. I think novellas are the perfect medium for this purpose. The first story Hot! was disappointing. The story didn’t really go anywhere and there wasn’t any real conclusion to the story. It also wasn’t done in the silly humorous way the other two stories were so I felt like it clashed thematically. There also wasn’t any passion between the couple or much of a conflict in the plot to encourage their romance to grow. The second story What Slays in Vegas was fun and had some really hot smexy parts. There was even a virginal hero. Well, he was at the beginning of the story ;) When the two woke up after a night of crazy sex and found pictures of their wedding and night on the town I LOL'd. I have always enjoyed Fox’s sense of fun. The story got a little silly with the hero saving theme, but I was smiling the whole time. Here is one of my favorite passages:He was suppose to to break into Napthulo’s casino. He was suppose to drug a succubus into giving him the pass-word to the demon’s inner sanctum. He was suppose to slay Napthulo to blow the whole operation sky high.Instead, he had sex, got married and made tiger faces outside the MGM Grand. The last story The Bride Wore Demon Dust was my favorite. It was hilarious! I loved reading about Bunny as she learned on her wedding day that her husband wasn’t who she thought he was. Her inner conversations about Smart Bunny vs Dumb Bunny were a riot to read. Rafe is an arrogant demon slayer from another world and I wanted to smack him as he constantly lamented about how he didn’t have human feelings of love and therefore couldn’t need Bunny, but their story was just as sweet as it was funny. The secondary characters were even fun to read. I will definitely look into other stories by Lexi George. Here is an example:Oh, good Lord, she’d hired a plague-infested photographer. Everybody at her wedding was going to die of a pernicious, infectious disease, and there would be dead bodies and stray body parts everywhere.Eww. The Caterer would be pissed. She’d probably lose her deposit. After reading these stories you will be looking for your own demon slayer cause apparently they are *really good in bed ;)3 Demon Slaying Sheep

A half-human, half-succubus, all Shiloh really wanted was a new assignment in Lust. Even though she was half-succubus, it was the only way she could eat, by feeding off men’s desires, and she was starving. Bribing her superior with a case of Fitz’s, Shiloh practically runs to her newest assignment.Damien has lived his life by the slayer rules. On a mission to stop the most powerful demon in Vegas before he opens a portal and unleashes hell on earth, Damien plans to use a succubus to achieve his gains. After all, demons were all the same, right? And then Shiloh saunters into his life. After a night of combustible passion, Shiloh and Damien awaken to find themselves hitched, but neither of them can remember the wedding. For a succubus, marrying a human was a death sentence and caused the total loss of her powers. Damien is supposed to slay demons, not fall in love with them. Yet as they work together to stop her boss they discover there’s more to love than the battle between good and evil, and that sometimes what happens in Vegas shouldn’t stay in Vegas. Angie Fox has done it again! What Slays In Vegas is a fantastic addition to her Demon Slayer Series. Ms. Fox dishes up the laughs with her delightful premise and shows us that even a demon can fall in love. Readers will love the interplay between Shiloh and Damien. From the moment I began reading I was hooked and didn’t stop until the last page. I heartily enjoyed this quick read from start to finish!

Entertaining trio of supernatural reads.Kathy Love's Hot! features Charlie, an aspiring photographer/mailroom guy who longs to get his portfolio in front of Finola White--someone who can make or break a career as she runs THE magazine... What he doesn't realize is that Finola isn't who or what she appears, and neither is the mailroom... By chance he meets Ava, a top model. An enjoyable novella about an accidental demon slayer. What Slays in Vegas is Angie Fox's contribution, and takes place about a year after her novel The Dangerous Book for Demon Slayers. Shiloh's a succubus, and Damien's a demon slayer after her boss. After a wild night, they end up hitched, and well, that throws a few hitches in their other plans...Lexi George's story, The Bride Wore Demon Dust, is an entertaining read about Bunny and Rafe, a shy librarian and a nearly invincible demon slayer--they meet when he rescues her from a demon attack and get hitched shortly after. Hijinks ensue when he fails to reveal his true nature and the demon comes back to finish the job...A fun trio of demon slayer stories, each with a different "flavor."

What starts off a by the book feeding on lust turns into a crazy night and marriage. I laughed like crazy reading this story. The tangle of crazy things that happen really get you. Your sure to enjoy this one, it keeps you reading right to the end.The last story by Lexi Goerge ends the book perfectly! Anthology containing three stories by Kathy Love, Angie Fox and Lexi George.Kathy Love’s 'HOT!' is the first story in what I refer to as the Devilishly series where a demon runs HOT! magazine and is trying to take over the world via the fashion industry.Angie Fox’s story 'What Slays in Vegas' is a novella that takes place between books 2 & 3 in the Demon Slayer series.Lexi George’s story 'The Bride Wore Demon Dust' is a novella between books 1 & 2 in her Demon Hunting series where hunky other-worldly demon slaying Dalvahni appear in Alabama to hunt djegrali (demons). Both Love’s and George’s stories were enjoyable reads in series I was already familiar with though I have to admit to liking George’s quirky story more. I will have to reserve judgment on Fox’s story because I have yet to read books 1 & 2 in the series, so I’ll have to revisit this anthology once I’ve done that.

Only read the short story by Angie Fox.Very cute, but other then a mention of Lizzie about half way through, and some other mentions of another demon slayer and her incident in Vegas, this short story basically has nothing to do with the rest of the series. It's listed as book 1.5 but should be read as book 2.5 to fit in time wise. It is very cute, and has a good twist and some action. Hopefully these characters will pop up in the series. The characters are likeable & funny.

This book is not at all what I thought. It was actually three short stories. The first one although interesting was rushed & unfinished. The second one was actually pretty good. It also seemed a little rushed but I loved the ending. The last one was the best. Bunny was certainly a character all herself. Then of course there was the two demon hunter brothers. Sex, humor,& some butt kicking along the way, definitely worth the read.

I've only read the portion by Lexi George - The Bride Wore Demon Dust as I was reading her Demon Hunter series. This was a good addition to the rest of the books. Rafe is a typical Dhalvanni, determined to keep away and stay emotionaly distant but Bunny (I hate that name for a character - it makes me think of a blonde bimbo - no offense to blondes!), she is actually a stronger character than her name implies. The only problem with this is that it was too short.

Of the three stories, I enjoyed the third the most, but that is probably just because I have already read the first book in that series. The second story was also a fun read, I ended up adding that author's books to my tbr pile. The first story was just okay, it was a bit hard to get into and it felt rushed without much of a resolution at the end.

I only read Lexi George's part & adored every word!! Cannot wait to read more of her work! She definitely has been living in Alabama & is familiar with the personalities that we encounter. Her characters are a delight & remind me of people I encounter on a daily basis! Thank you for the giggles Lexi!!

Slogged through the first one - nope, never got any better. Kind of ripped off Devil Wears Prada and Ugly Bettie. Sorry, but constant descriptions of how you are dressing Evil Barbie doesn't substitute for character development. I like Angie Fox, but couldn't finish this one. Didn't bother with the third. I have better things to do with my life.

This book had 3 great paranormal stories. The Demon Hunter 1.5 filled in the Damien and Shiloh's story from the Biker Witches/Accidental Demon Slayer series by Angie Fox. I enjoyed all 3 books. Great read.

I only read Angie Fox's What Slays in Vegas. It was pretty good. It felt rushed but most anthologies are that way.
