Believe it or not, I found this book in a yard and being the reader that I am, I picked it up. I laughed at most of the sayings in the book. Many of them I knew in another way, same saying more or less with a different choice of words but the point was the same. Some I had never heard and a couple were laugh out loud funny. Even though I didn't know the people, I even enjoyed the pictures. The layout was like pearls or nuggets of insight but the pictures added an element and give it the feel of a story that went on in these people's homes. At the end though, I felt sad...I don't know why but...maybe when I look at the book in comparison to where we have advanced as a people it makes my heart sad...I don't know.
