This was a beautiful book I just read to my children and I'm so glad it caught my eye at the library. The artwork is magnificent and the text rang true. It is published by the Islamic Foundation so it was also an opportunity to share with my children that we have shared beliefs with other religions. It speaks of Adam and Creation and our duty to be thankful and responsible stewards in a way that is easy for children to understand but also thought provoking for the parent reading aloud.

Striking, frame-able illustrations that kids and adults love. The history and purpose of Creation is told from the universal scriptural/ monotheistic viewpoint. For instance, she refers to the Creator in gender neutral terms, as "the One." The author is Muslim but the appeal is universal. This book will be loved by all.
