I found this book in one of our local charity shops for £2.95 and discovered that it is quite scarce and sells for at least £40. I've dropped one star because I didn't feel that the text matched the quality of the photographs which are superb.Something else that would have been nice to include would have been diagrams of how square-rigged ships are sailed. There is some discussion of this but not enough and difficult to visualise without illustration. A beautiful "coffee table book" for those like me who would love to take to the seas in this way but probably never will!
