Washington In Focus: The Photo History Of The Nation's Capital Reviews
I really enjoyed this book. It was short enough to not be an overwhelming history and long enough to feel as if I had a basic understanding of the city. It also pointed me to a few sites I am interested in seeing such as the Zero Milestone.
Quick reading. Interesting and even had a couple of tidbits that I didn't know about DC...which for someone raised on that doorstep is an accomplishment.Wanna know where the term 'hookers' originated? :-)Read this one.Enjoyable even though it could use an updated edition.
