Since I've been back in school for a while and work is getting pretty busy, I won't be able to be as active on Goodreads as I would like. But hopefully I will be able to at least give one review a day (this will mostly be for manga rather than books). So here we go.In this volume of Dragon Knights we follow Rune on his mission to save the faerie forest from Nadil's men. Along the way, he meets a human named Nohiro who has a dream of marrying a faerie because he has always been fascinated with faeries. This manga has a balance of drama, action, and comedy. It's not the best volume but I found it very entertaining. Norhiro is a very interesting character. He's very positive, energetic, kind, and he also has a passion that is doesn't quite makes sense but it's the only thing he has in his life so he goes for it. That's quite admirable. The villains are awesome as always but I think that they could have been a little more violent or at least behave a little more evil. It doesn't matter though, I like this volume and I love these characters. I love Rune's short temper with Nohiro and I love Nohiro's sillyness. It's just great to read.

I really enjoyed this volume of Dragon Knights. Since the first one there have been bits and pieces of the mangas that I have enjoyed but as an entire book it didn't quiet ... Catch my attention. It wasn't overly exciting or anything but I liked the new introduction of characters and things made sense. I tend to have a bit of a hard time with the way that the author has everything out together, but hey maybe I'm just getting to used to his style (after six volumes xD).

Rune is the Dragon Knight of Water, the focus of this volume. His past with the elfin kingdom is hinted at. Fairies are a fast disappearing species and Rune is out to discover the cause of it. Will his past with the elves come into play?

This was along the same lines as the previous volume, except with Rune on his own journey
