Wow! After completing Imperfect, I had to sit and let Jamie's and Molly's story sink in and absorb all the emotions that April Wilson had flowing through my body at an alarming rate. I absolutely adore the McIntyre tribe and am always happy to be back in their fold again when I begin another of their fictional journeys, but never did I expect Imperfect to be so profound and hit my heart so hard and pack such a powerful emotional punch! April delves deep into many touching subjects with this story that a reader can't help but be left stunned and speechless. While Imperfect still contains much suspense and sexual tension that leaves the reader panting, April Wilson gives us such a huge piece of herself and her personal experience that you can't help but to feel closer to her and in awe of her as a writer and a woman.Jamie McIntyre is absolutely fascinating in all his former Navy Seals, “I'm not going to let blindness stop me” glory. I am left completely awestruck and impressed with his unwavering strength whether he is showcasing his prowess in the ring, protecting those he loves, or showing Molly her beauty both inside and out. I have never seen a hero that has drawn me in more with his sunny disposition even when all he sees is darkness. Jamie has me so in love that I am beside myself, stumbling over my own feet for this hero. I don't know what it is about these McIntyre men but they keep me salivating and blushing like crazy! Molly Ferguson can see beauty in life and can create it on any type of canvas but after viewing herself through her ex husband's eyes, she cannot see her own beauty. It isn't long into Molly's story that I can see all of the scars and strength that make her so unique and fascinating and leave us in awe of her stunning presence which is more than skin deep. I have never met a heroine that gets knocked down by life so violently yet she still gets up and fights. Her bravery makes me weep and pierces my heart. April Wilson delivers a book that is so thought provoking and hits you deep in so many places, that the story will forever be embedded in your heart. April Wilson never fails to impress me with her story telling skills but she has truly out done herself with Jamie and Molly's romance. I cannot wait to step back into the McIntyre world and get a front row seat to the hotness between Cooper and Sam. Go ahead April bring it on! We are ready to experience all the feels, the danger, and the unquenchable desire!

Imperfect=Beautiful! Take the title and the McIntyre family and you know 1/2 the story you are getting. Bring Molly into the mix and emotions are heightened! This is a story of vulnerability and taking chances! I love April’s writing and of course the McIntyre clan! I can’t get enough! Love love love!!!!!

ImperfectImperfect is just Perfect. What an amazing emotional story of Jamie & Molly.Jamie was robbed of his eyes whilst serving as a navy seal for his country. He's been recuperating and protected by his family whilst staying at Shane estate. With the help of Shane's fiancée, Beth, he gets his own apartment and his independence back.Molly is a survivor of breast cancer loosing both breast but opting for no reconstruction surgery. She is also trying to move on from her ex husband, who she has a restraining order against. When they meet each other they both feel that instant connection but Molly fights it, she can't get a blind man mixed up with her evil violent ex.The scenes between them, with Jamie showing Molly his eyes, that's a first, and Molly letting Jamie touch her, another first, are very touching. This is book 5 in The McIntyre Security Bodyguard Series and I have loved every book but this ones the most emotional but heart warming so far. 💖 Look forward to book 6

Just finished reading Imperfect. I cried. I’ve waited so long for Jamie’s story. Imperfect was PERFECT. You can READ a lot of books. I have. 1143 in my Kindle collection. But if you want to FEEL a book. Become one with the characters, April Wilson does that. Read these books and become enthralled, spell bound with these characters and you’ll wait on pins and needles, with baited breath as the next installment comes on line. In all my years of reading, i have never, ever, connected with an author the way I have with Ms. Wilson. She writes from the heart. She is a true talent. READ. HER. BOOKS.

Loved It I absolutely love everything about the McIntyre Security series. Given the amount of books I read, it's easy to lose a story line or characters in between the release of new books but never once has that happened for me with this series. April Wilson is a fantastic author who brings such life to her characters and their stories that they are not easily forgotten. Jamie and Molly are no exception. A beautifully written, sweet and sexy story that shows that we are more than our imperfections. Perfectly imperfect.

Good story!I loved the plot and the characters and this book has a wonderful story line. I would have given this book 5 stars except for a few things... I felt like there quite a few times that things were being repeated almost word for word. Molly was very, very indecisive through the ENTIRE book. Literally, one minute she decided she was going to be with Jamie and the within just a few seconds all of a sudden she changed her mind and couldn't be with him. I can totally understand when I character does that at first. Nobody is 100 percent sure about the beginning of a relationship. But, to do it in every single chapter, every time she's near him, it just gets annoying. As for Beth, I'm sorry, but if she is that important and in that much danger to where she need a bodyguard 24/7, why would he bodyguard not paying attention to her surroundings and why on God's green earth would she take a FREAKING UBER anywhere? That I just don't understand. If she had gotten attacked and almost ran over and her bodyguard did in fact get run over and almost died, why in hell would she take an Uber to see Molly two days later? Why was she not in a secured vehicle? That's the party that really got me the most. There is no way if someone had just tried to kill her two days before that, that she would be walking around with just one bodyguard again and taking Ubers where ever she needed to go.I really did enjoy the story and I wish I could have given it 5 starts. But for me, those things were just too big to ignore.

Jamie and Molly.I enjoyed this story but although Molly has 2 main issues with them being together that are valid I got a bit fed up of her giving mixed signals. They are attracted to each other and she wants to be with Jamie but due to her issues she keeps pushing him away but also not. I don't think Jamie had to be blind to be confused.I liked the fact that neither of them were sleeping around, it is understandable due to their circumstances but it was a nice change. We catch up with the others in the gang including Shayne and Beth who have their wedding and we see events from the book Shattered (McIntyre Security Bodyguard #4) from a different perspective. We meet Molly's best friend and other members of Jamie's family plus a few extras so plenty of material for more books.I like this author's style but this is not a book I would re-read.

"Trust is letting go of your fears. Letting go of your insecurities"Jamie and Molly are perfectly Imperfect together. The fear of having someone get close to you when you feel imperfect, damaged, and unlovable is a very real feeling for me and so many women. I too found someone that saw me for me and loved me no matter my past. This story is a true testament that "trust is letting go of your fears. Letting go of your insecurities." We all have them whether its physical, mental, or both. Thank you April Wilson for writing such a powerful story.

What a wonderful book. Jamie is a dream. You have to respect him after all he's given to his country and how he has reacted to what happened to him. He's adapted to his new life so well. Molly is so damaged. First her illness and the tough decisions she had to make, then her husband's betrayal and stalking. I love that she tackled such a difficult topic for women. Patience seems to be a theme in Ms. Wilson's male characters and I applaud that. This was another great story because we are all imperfect. I can't wait for the next one.

Imperfect PerfectionO. K. So how did I manage to miss this series? Jaimie and Molly valiantly find their way out of their fears and into each other's hearts. Blind due an explosion while serving as a Navy Seal, Jaimie moves into Molly's building to assert his independence. Molly is trying to avoid her ex while regaining her own independence. What they find is each other. Now I'm going to go find books 1 through 4.

Heartbreaking and soul searchingI've always liked Jamie but i knew it would take a special person to heal him . I have absolutely loved this story of two people who have faced challenges in their lives and yet come together in a special way. Molly is a courageous and strong lady, to be able to pick herself up and succeed in what she does. I cried so many times reading this story and yet I want to read it all over again. I can't wait to see where this story can go.

Another amazing McIntyre book!!I am a big fan of this entire series!! This book was just as great as the rest. The story was great and deals with not only the aftermath of an illness and injuries but with all the insecurities that come with it. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a sweet love story with a HEA but also deals with very real issues. The book is a standalone but the whole series is a must read and read in order!!!

One of my favorite authors! I've been looking forward to Jamie's book for a long time. This is the story of Jamie and Molly. Jamie is Shane's blind brother who was injured at war, and Molly is his neighbor dealing with a troubled ex-husband. I just love the family dynamic with these books in the authors steam, character development, in character interaction is always on point. Easy reads with all of my favorite pieces!

Wonderful and Inspiring! As a breast cancer survivor myself, I am always interested to read a romance from that POV. Ms. Wilson did not disappoint in her tale of overcoming the insecurities involved in relationship after the surgery. Giving her hero his own set of insecurities went a long way in helping the heroine overcome hers. A sexy hero and a lovely heroine in a tale that gives the reader reasons to cheer them on, my idea of a GREAT read!

Beautifully written!I loved this fifth offering on the McIntyre Security series featuring Jamie and Molly who are two physically "defective" people who come together and begin to heal each other through trust and acceptance and eventually find love with each other and realise that their physical imperfections are not something to be ashamed of. I can't wait for the other books in the series!

Everyone needs a heroReally loved Molly and Jamie's book. Thank you so much for this... We are have imperfections some are just easier to see than others. Nothing like to courageous people find love together. I love how each story revoked around one prominent couple of the McIntyre family but we see how everyone is doing. This book is about Jamie.

Great readLoved how these two damaged individuals found each other and learned how to maybe love again. Jaimie is a beautiful soul so kind and Molly entirely loving. I would've like more interaction with Molly and the family. It still seems like she is an interloper to everyone but Jamie. Can't wait to read Jakes book and please oh please write Chloe and Cameron's book!!!!
