Mixed, same as any collection or magazine. Standouts were: "Ray's Birthday Bar" by Emma Copley Eisenberg; "The Goodnow Guide" by Amanda Emil Anderson; "Heaven for Your Full Lungs" by David E. Yee; "The Butcher" by Akil Kumarasamy. (Actually, on the whole the magazine was a great collection of stories -- just one I disliked, many of the rest doing an amazing job building a sense of place and of the characters' lives.)
