This was just as enjoyable as the first book, possibly more so. Mind you, I don't generally read anything where a romantic relationship is a major plot line. But this book was funny, full of wisecracking, and while some secondary characters were overly dramatic (i.e. Satan,) it was deliberate. Moreover, the other characters generally understood the theatricality. (Seriously, Satan's a hoot in this series as he attempts to woo Iris. He's still devilishly evil, but a hoot nonetheless.) Other minor characters from the first book make appearances to varying degrees. This book picks up not too long after the ending of the first book. While Justine and Derek are on their honeymoon, Theresa (who is a dragon, by the way) is fulfilling her role as the interim Guardian to the Goblet of Eternal Youth named Mona who is still primarily posing as an espresso machine. Theresa makes a deal with Satan to return to her human form so she can meet her cyber lover, Zeke, who turns out to be an guilt-ridden ex-dragon slayer (now private detective) unaware that Theresa's a dragon. He learns quickly and sparks fly (occasionally literally) but further complications arise because there's a contract out on her. If I explain any more, I'll be giving plot twists away. Ultimately, it's a very satisfying, well-written, and fun book. I'll definitely be looking for the next book in the series.

Must Love Dragons is the story of my favorite character, Theresa Nichols and her cyber-sex boyfriend, Zeke Siccardi. Theresa has been stuck in her dragon form for 200+ years, since drinking from the Goblet. She and Quincy have been entrusted to keep "Mona" safe while Justine and her husband are on their honeymoon. Quincy is a bit of a work-a-holic and has stopped returning T's calls, doesn't come home from the office and she's reached the breaking point. She's starving, lonely and ready to take matters into her own hands. It doesn't help that after six months of hot cyber-sex, Zeke sends her a message basically telling her that they meet now or he's gotta move on. With no one else to turn to she seeks out Becca Gibbs, the executive VP of Vic's Pretzels and Satan's favorite Rivka for help. Down under, Satan continues his battles to "seduce former Guardian and woman of {his} fantasies Iris Bennett {Justine's mom} into an eternity of naked passion and lovemaking" and world domination, of course. He cracks me up constantly! There are so many great reasons to read this book. To name a few: there are non-stop laughs (T, Zeke and Becca are a riot!) and the romance between T and Zeke is hot, in more ways than one! I will definitely be continuing with the rest of the series. :D

I loved this book! I liked the first one but it was only okay. This was awesome! Which says a lot since I didn't love Theresa before but do now! And still love Satan( my Catholic upbringing just shuddered at that) but this Satan is just a smitten kitten:)

The Second in the series of the Immortally Sexy Series by Stephanie Rowe. Another really fun read. This story stars the best friend and sidekick of the main character from the first book Theresa Nichols, She just happens to be trapped in the body of a Dragon. Not all the time of course, but only thanks to a deal Theresa made with the devil (Yeah -the real devil). That would make certain aspects of this book too weird. She has an On-line boyfriend Named Zeke Siccardi - who it turns out is a Private Eye/Dragon Slayer. Again - You see where this is going - and again it’s a fun read getting there.

Yeah, the heroine could just pass off a "hero" who killed off her whole village, because he is, after all, cute and troubled. Thought this series would improve, but it didn't. Would only read more in series if I got it free & was truly desperate for something to read.

Second in the Immortally Sexy paranormal-romance series set in New York City. The couple focus is on Theresa Nichols, a shape-shifting dragon, and Zeke, an ex-dragon slayer. My TakeThis just got lame. Yeah, bits were still funny. My imagination goes wild trying to envision an 11-foot winged dragon wearing a miniskirt, lacy bra, and see-through blouse. But for the most part, Rowe has us rocking back and forth like a tiny boat in a massive storm between Zeke needing to kill, to lust. Wanting to help his former dragon team recover Alex's wife but not at Theresa's expense. Then there's Theresa and her schizoid teetering between gotta be a dragon, gotta be a human, gotta be with Zeke, hate Zeke, gotta save Mona. Then Iris makes me nuts with her jerking Satan around...yeah, it's so bad, I actually feel sorry for the guy.For some reason, Satan's dialog in this story is irritating as opposed to funny. You'd think Satan's English would be a bit more sophisticated instead of this "just off the boat" phrasing.I suspect I'll be writing this series off.The StoryJustine and Derek are off on their honeymoon and left her with Derek's absentminded brother. Who has forgotten she exists! She needs food. She is gonna burn something or someone up if she doesn't get some food!!! And the anger just gets worse and worse until Theresa cracks and decides to make a deal with Satan to lose her dragon form so she can get back out into the world. A truly necessary deal as Zeke is threatening to walk unless she meets him.Only Theresa is so hot to be human that she forgets to forge her deal with care leaving her wide open and Satan is sooo going to enjoy himself. It is what he does best. In all her cockiness, or should that be dragonness?, Theresa figures she can handle whatever Satan dishes out. The dummy. Meantime, she's gotta rush to make that date with Zeke.A date that shatters all her dreams. For Zeke was actively hunting her. For a client who had a sketch of her. A sketch Lyman drew just before he tried to kill her. Then the assassin strikes and the truth of Theresa's dragon form puffs up, driving Zeke the former dragon slayer wild with lust and the need to kill. But too much temptation comes Satan's way and Iris' leverage suddenly drops away even as Theresa discovers---too late---the many loopholes she's left in her contract. The CharactersTheresa Nichols is a shifter trapped in her dragon form 180 years ago when she drank from the Goblet while she was a dragon. Now, she's a frustrated, pretzel-hooked female whose only sexual outlet is online with Zeke. Mona is the Goblet and, luckily, able to shapeshift into different forms to protect herself. A further safeguard is that she can only be handed over voluntarily by the Guardian or her backup.Zeke Siccardi is a dragon slayer trying to reform. Alex, Marcus, and Rathe are a dragon-slaying team and old friends of Zeke's. Someone has kidnapped Alex's woman. To get her back, Alex must slay Theresa and Alex is calling in the blood debt Zeke owes him.Lyman Peressini is a childhood friend and lover of Theresa's. A dragon. He's finally managed to drag himself up from his lousy neighborhood and away from his crappy parents fulfilling his nature. Now he wants Theresa back in his life. He wants to own her. And he'll do anything to get her. Reverend Munsey has his own television show preaching to the masses and Satan wants on. Zeus is a corrupt businessman doing a deal with Satan. Percy Adams is a defense attorney and a Massachusetts senator...uh-huh, I'm believing this combination...hired to get Theresa out of jail for killing the Reverend Munsey.Becca is Satan's Rivka, a collector of souls. She's also friends with Justine and Derek, Quincy, and soon she's one of Theresa's new best friends. She's also Derek's vice-president at Vic's Pretzels. She hates her demonic job wishing she could just concentrate on Derek's pretzel empire and she's always looking for loopholes. Iris Bennett is a dead Guardian currently living in Purgatory BUT working her way up to Heaven by rewriting the Guardian manual. Seems Justine made a good point in Date Me, Baby, One More Time about the whole sexual abstinence bit and the Council has asked her to revise it. The Council consists of Jerome the pirate, business guy, and "moses". Satan has got the hots for Iris. For over 200 years he's been trying to get back in her pants and he'll do anything to make her happy. So he can get happy.Xavier, Justine and Derek DeValle have a cameo appearance (see Date Me, Baby, One More Time). Quincy DeValle is Derek's twin and a mathematician suffering from terminal obsession. He's supposed to be babysitting Theresa. Ya know, the dragon who needs to eat but can't go out in public or accept home deliveries???The Cover and TitleThe cover is orange flames with cartoon legs in fishnets and over-the-knee black suede boots that lace up the front. A swirly red skirt covers the top of those legs with a green tail curving from behind. A knife at her belt. The title is something of a command. That one Must Love Dragons.

This one is still comparable with the first as I liked Theresa in the first book and thought it would be cool to have her as the lead. And it was. It was everything the first was a fun, paranormal romp with some humor and romance.I'd say the biggest difference here are our two leads: Theresa and Zeke vs. Justine and Derek. For me? Justine and Derek's romance but also "trouble" seemed more realistic than Theresa and Zeke. I liked the Dragon vs Dragon Slayer concept BUT I thought the idea of the flames and the pheromones being "turn ons" was a bit over the top. Also Zeke was a part of Theresa's entire village being killed but this is somewhat glossed over after she falls in love with him. Like it all of a sudden doesn't matter, which didn't really fit.As always I liked Quincy, Derek's brother, and wished his part was a bit bigger than just forgetting about Theresa in the apartment. The plotline of her wanting to get out of dragon form and striking a deal with Satan was good, no real faults here. Satan and Iris are still doing their thing which after a while (1st book and this one) got a little stale.Plus I'd say the biggest fault is that Justine and Derek become only a mention, and this is an issue I will continue to have with the other 2 books. They were the MCs in the first one but then completely disappear except for a mention here and there. Since I really liked them as characters that was disappointing. Especially because Theresa, Becca the Rivka, Iris and Satan, Quincy and other minor characters actually pop up in all 4 books and have screen time over the ones that started this whole series. Just a little weird.Overall, this book was good like the first. If you enjoy paranormal romance with some humor and zaniness then you'll like this one like the first.

As I stated at the bottom of my review for "Date Me, Baby, One More Time".... I finished the 2nd book the next day and something wondrous happened between Rowe's 1st and 2nd book. OK, bottom line skip this book and move on to Must Love Dragons – IT ROCKS!!!!!There was a 180 degree turnaround between writing techniques – maybe thanks to a new editor? – what ever the reason the results were great!!! I was compelled to read the book from cover to cover without stopping. The story flowed as smooth and swift as a chocolate tabletop waterfall. All the characters had believable and endearing flaws that helped with the story plot instead of hindering it. Even that smarmy character Satan with his annoying dialog fit right into the story plot.Ok, I’ll admit there was some whining by Theresa, the dragon, but it was short lived and she grew out of it quickly. The sex scenes in this book were few but very well written and, one near the end of the book (Ch. 20), very drawn out and detailed over several pages – very satisfying.I have high hopes for the next book in the story arc "He Love Me, He Loves Me Hot"

Our favorite dragon Theresa is in charge of Mona while Justine is on her honeymoon. Her relationship with Zeke, cybersex and all, is getting a little complicated. Theresa wants some independence but her dragon form allows only so much. How far is she willing to go to get what she needs? To make matters worse someone is targeting her. But for what?Oh sweet angels above, the steam coming out of this book could cook a meal for a hundred. The sequel is just as sexually tense as the first and there is no chance of change. While not necessarily as funny as the first book, this one certainly has its high points. I could just pass out from some of the cracks these characters say. One could burn through this book easily. It is hard to put down because of how curious the story is. An enjoyable book all around.

Theresa Nichols is an immortal dragon who’s bored with being confined to her dragon form. When Zeke, her cyber-sex partner threatens to drop her unless they meet, she strikes a deal with Satan to turn her human. What she doesn’t know is that Zeke is a reformed dragon slayer. When the two meet, more than sparks fly. What follows is a hilarious romp through the streets of New York and the underworld – the REAL underworld. The cast of characters will leave you laughing, hissing, gasping and booing as you lose yourself in their convoluted schemes for world domination, sexual domination, soul searching (in more ways than one) and just plain-old-fashioned down-and-dirty sex.Rowe’s paranormal romantic comedy is hot – from more than just dragon breath – funny, and entirely satisfying. If you want a sexy paranormal with a twist, this is definitely a book for you.

Stuck in dragon form for the last 200 years, her only companions being her best friend Justine and Mona, the Goblet of Eternal Youth, Theresa Nichols is bored. The two thrills in her life are eating Vic’s pretzels and having cybersex with Zeke. Zeke demands they meet or their relationship is over. Theresa makes a deal with Satan for her human body back so she can meet Zeke and have real sex for the first time in 200 years. But her online lover turns out to be more than he seems. Must Love Dragons is the second installment in Stephanie Rowe’s Immortally Sexy series and it is a tremendous improvement over the first book, Date Me Baby One More Time. It is well written, hilarious and sexy. And I just straight out liked Theresa and Zeke better than Justine and Derek.

I enjoyed this book, it had some good humorous moments and great chemistry between Theresa and Zeke! I have to say I really liked Satan as well, he was shameless but funny!I liked the characters we met, even the villain cause he was amusing to read! The story kept me entertained all the way through and I love the fact that Zeke and Theresa are supposed to be enemies considering she's a Dragon and he's a Dragon Slayer. I especially love what their natural weaknesses around each other are and how they have to fight not only attraction in the beginning but also their instincts which scream at them to kill each other!I like how it ended and would be interested in picking up the rest of the series too.

Theresa Nichols has been trapped in dragon form for almost 200 years. And while it has its benefits (super strength ability to fly). Its not all that easy to get around New York city. So when her cyber boyfriend (Zeke Siccardi) insists that they meet she makes a deal with Satan himself (who is still lusting after Iris) to regain her human form. Little does Theresa know that her boyfriend is a dragon slayer and her sworn enemy. But when someone else is threatening Theresa's life they team up to save her life. With the help of Satan's right hand woman Becca and Iris they might just be able to trick Satan and save Theresa's life.Another funny easy and fast read. The female characters are all strong, the men are hot and the sex is steamy. What better way to spend the afternoon.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.5 stars... I loved this book! It had earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

How and why could Satan be a favorite character? Theresa spends the book trying to get out of a contract with Satan. I was caught up with her and Zeke trying to figure out how not to kill one another while trying to set everything straight. I think the fact that I didn't have to think too much while reading this is what's making it hard for me to write a review that doesn't sound like, "this was cool. read it."There were some twists in the there that I didn't see coming. I need to see what's really going to happen with Iris and Satan! I wonder if Jerome is going to really shake things up. This had everything I needed in a book: fun, funny, quick read, likable main characters, great side characters, and I want to see what happens to them in the next few books.

I love the concept. First off the dragon shifter is the heroine and the hero is an ex-dragon slayer. I so loved that they each had a defense mechanism meant to derail the opponent for easier killing. Theresa's Dragon fire turns Zeke on instead of killing him. And the dragon is supposed to be able to block the Slayers pheromones which knock them out for easy killing. Somehow these two defense mechanisms cancel each other out and lustful encounters occur. These parts were well written. I just found Theresa to be a bit whiny and irritating and Zeke had the patience of a saint which seemed a little unrealistic IMHO. Surprisingly I did like Satan. His antics just made me laugh out loud.

Oh my gosh was not sure what to expect, but this book had laughing out loud and having a hard time stopping!!! The characters are witty, rude, snarky, and yet kind and enduring. The world of dragons and Dragon players just got really small. This is actually the second one book with this cast of characters but it is not required to read "Date Me Baby One More Time" this explains pretty well the world Theresa (Dragon), Justine (guardian of fountian of youth), and Becca (#1 enforcer and abuser of the Devil). Enter Dragon having cyber sex with Dragon slayer decide want to meet make deal with Devil for human form to have real date with possible sex..... let havic ensue. LOVED THIS BOOK!

I like this series. It's a paranormal romance series with a chick lit vibe. It's very funny - anytime the Satan character shows up, I laugh out loud. It's mostly action-adventure, with occasional sex scenes that are highly romantic - not graphic. In this book, Teresa, the dragon, gets together with her cyber-love Zeke, who turns out to be a reformed dragon slayer. Teresa wants to meet him in her human form, so she makes a deal with Satan to get her human form back (she's been stuck in dragon form for 200 years.) There's a whole lot of action, and everyone is happy at the end.

Theresa is sick of being stuck in her dragon form, so she makes a pact with the devil to turn her human again. First thing she wants to do? Meet with deliciously sexy Zeke, her online cybersex partner. Only it turns out Zeke is a dragon hunter, designed to kill her, and when the devil wants the Goblet of Eternal Youth in return for making her human, Theresa winds up in a whole load of trouble. This was pretty ridiculous, but mildly entertaining all the same. Stupid plot lines, but enough romance to make it worth sticking with. A beach-read.3/5

2nd book in the Immortally Sexy series. Whole story line focuses around Theresa Nichols and her cybersex partner Zeke. Other characters include Becca, Satan, Iris and the slayers. There is less character development in this story than the first. Story unfolds when T makes a deal with Satan to transform her permantely into a human from a dragon. She gives Satan, Mona for safe keeping. Things go crazy and Zeke falls in love with T.

I liked this book a lot better than the first (and I did like the first). It definitely had more spunk, but there was a LOT going on. Although I like how the story ended, I didn't like how it was executed. It jumped from the end of the conflict straight to an HEA and left some details unexplained, or to be assumed. Aside from the skipping, it was a good read and I look forward to the next in the series.

I read this book as I wanted an orange coloured cover for a challenge I was doing. I don't regret reading it, but after I have finished reading all the Stephanie Rowe I own, I can't see me buying more.I don't dislike her writing, but her story lines don't really work for me. I had the same problem that I had with Date me baby, one more time. I don't find Satan a good choice to turn into a bit of an idiot, and this always takes away my enjoyment of a book where this happens.

Theresa Nichols is a woman trapped in a dragon's body. She wants a relationship (and sex, most definitely sex).Zeke Siccardi is a PI trying his best to escape his past as a dragon slayer. His online relationship with Theresa has moved to a situation where the two of them want to meet. When he finds her he finds that she has a contract on her life and he wants to do something about it.It's entertaining but not great.

I actually managed to like this book by Rowe. For once she dropped all the forced humor and excessive need to be hip. Which really surprised me as the main female character in this book was the best friend of the female heroine of the last book. And she was doing all the girlfriends and stuff like that. So it was a great change. There is also some more questions that were answered from the first book to this one. Which is what I really liked. So yea I would definitely recommend this book.

I haven't read the first one...didn't know there was one! I have to admit, I love this supernatural, mythological fun stuff! And this one, was nothing but fun! In this one the heroine is a dragon that falls in love with a superstud online and she has to make a deal with the devil to get her sexy body to not have scales and weigh 3 tons!

I read the first entry in this series last year, and didn’t think anything more about it until my coworker and I were trading favorite series. I gave her the Betsy Taylor series by MaryJanice Davidson and she told me about these. I love dragons, and got a real kick out of the idea that they live side-by-side with humans in the modern world.

Quick, entertaining read about a romantic attachment that really wasn't supposed to happen; a dragon and a dragon slayer. Throw in complications of trying to retrieve a magical goblet that had fallen into the hands of Satan himself and you see what a variety of wild characters are packed into the pages of this book.

I think I enjoyed this book even better than I enjoyed the first one! Who wouldn't love a sexually deprived and thus frustrated dragon, a goblet of eternal youth that masquerades as an espresso machine and Satan madly in love with an ex guardian to the point of total distraction? Well not me, I loved them! ;-)

This book was even more fun to read than the first in the series. I loved the dragon being female and the idea of her and a dragon slayer being attracted to each other.ALPHA MALE vs. extremely strong female. Definitely a favorite of mine ;) Not as humorous as Katie MacAlister, but will stay on my keeper shelf!
