As lead singer of Three Ugly Guys, he’s every fangirl’s dream, and with his newfound fame the women flow as readily as alcohol and drugs. There’s no doubt women are Trent’s preferred indulgence after a successful show. That is, until the feisty little blonde joins the tour. Lexi Marx loves music. It runs in her blood and flows through her soul. As the illegitimate daughter of a rock legend, she’s determined to make it in the music industry on talent alone. So when her agent scores her the opening act gig for the next 3UG tour it seems her hard work, hopes, and dreams have finally come to fruition. Until she spends time with the band. More accurately, Trent Donovan. She’d feel better if that arrogant manwhore of a lead singer would stop hitting on her with his dreamy eyes, witty comebacks, and voice that melts the most jagged of hearts. But Trent is determined to prove to Lexi he’s not such a bad guy, and as music binds their friendship, Lexi’s left with the most confusing of emotions. Could this be love or an uninvited distraction? She can still have it all, if only her heart doesn’t lead her off track.June 1, 2017 is the release day for this rockstar romance by Kacey Shea!BLOGGERS interested in participating in cover reveal, release blitz, and other promo for this book sign up here: who don't want to miss this release can sign up for an alert once it goes live on Amazon and free to KindleUnlimited here:

After reading Kacey Shea's Caught In The Flames that literally tested my sanity and fucked my brains out over and over, I was looking forward to more of her other works. She's a new author for me so with that book, she caught my attention. So when I learned about Detour, I could not help but be thrilled because at last I could finally have my Kacey Shea fix. That and the fact that the book screams ROCKSTAR ROMANCE. I am a fan of this trope, so to say that I was excited was an understatement. I did not just ravished it, I read it with all my heart enjoying my journey of Trent and Lexi. So without giving you too much away as the blurb pretty summed up what the book is all about I will just leave my review like this...Detour was a light hearted read. No OTT drama yet got loads and loads of fun, banters, bickering and scorching scenes that will definitely make your panties in a twist. I love the characters because they're easy to fall in love with. Their chemistry was undeniable and although the attraction was immediate, I had no complaints about it since it was supported with Kacey's brilliant portrayal of them' hence the insta-attraction. Trent, A rock star who loves music and pussy more than anything, (well, he loves her Momma, so a plus right?) found her match with Lexi's strong and sassy nature. These two together might not be as explosive but I enjoyed my journey with them together with the secondary characters. But I'll be honest here, it took me several chapters before I felt a connection to the story and the characters. It felt off at first and with the pacing, it kinda bore me. I was so glad though that I root for them because when it picked up I did not just enjoy it, I love it and realized there's more to this rock star romance than I have it given credit for. It got depth and with rock stars as foundation, there was more to the story than that. With it's wit and humor plus a heart more than those steamy sex scenes that had me fanning, I fell in love with the story and the characters BIG TIME. Oveall, I will recommend this book. If you're looking for a story that will give you a ride into music, fun, love with depth, then this book is for you. Take a ride with Trent and Lexi and the whole gang, have fun and fall in love with them.To Kacey Shea, I am excited what you're in store for us next time!

*ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review*"She's my world your, my greatest award, better than any bestselling album or performance."This was my 4th book by Kacey and I loved it just as much as every other one of hers. I have to admit, I thought this was going to be completely separate from the Uncovering Love series but I was super excited to find out that I was dead wrong! I couldn't contain my excitement when I found out that this book follows a hunk that I've had the pleasure of meeting in the other books. I didn't want to let the characters from UL go and now I don't have to. This new series is giving me so much hope! Kacey has given me something I didn't know I was yearning for and hopefully that shows just how much I love her work. This is a rock star romance and it was like none other I've ever read. It's a dual POV so it also follows Lexi, an up and coming singer/songwriter. These two meet right before they go on tour together and they both stole my heart right away. As individuals, they are hilarious and as real as you and me. But as a duo, they are that plus so much more. I loved how Trent showed his fierce, caring side right from the start. He was so perfect for Lexi and vice versa. They both tell it how it is and the way they worked through their problems was nothing short than awe-mazing. I wish I meet my own Trent soon because this book gave me all the feels that I didn't want to stop experiencing.. I'm a bit obsessed with Trent, in case it isn't obvious. The only criticism I have for this book was that a few things were more than a bit predictable. I saw some things coming and yes, it put a bit of a damper on my mood, but I just shrugged it off and kept going. Kacey is a mastermind when it comes to writing. Her novels always feel lighthearted and epic until you get slapped by a sudden depth that you can't crawl out of. The rawness that Kacey includes in her books brings you to the ground while at the same time, everything else keeps you soaring. This is exactly what this novel was and I loved it even more because of it. The ending was beyond beautiful and it had me bawling like a baby. I can't tell you how many times I went back to reread it because I didn't want to let go. I can't wait for Sean's story next!"When life gets off track, sometimes a little detour is all it takes to set things right."Not recommended for readers under 18.

** ARC kindly provided in exchange of an honest review. **Sexy, fun with great characters. I enjoyed this rockstar romance full of sass, with a great banter and  good dynamics. A light-hearted story with some depths.I like stories about rockstar/manwhore, with their big hearts and totally living the wrong way to live their lives, enjoying the immediate gratification and at one moment of their lives being knocked out by their match. Seeing them work for it? Sign me in.As you might guess, Trent is the epitome of a rockstar, enjoying at its full speed this life. Fame, women, he got it all, until his plans to be on tour with his friends were disrupted by a sexy music who will literally rock this world. Of course, sometimes he didn’t make the best choices but I really liked how kind, dedicated and loving he was. I had my reservations about this character, but the more I was reading about him, the more I liked him. What about his match?? Lexi, the bombshell full of sass and totally unaffected or immune to his charms, first. Being the daughter of rockstar, she knew well how to stay away from men like Trent, or mostly rockstars in general. Guarded and not letting people on her life, being sarcastic and badass was a facade to make them stray away. The chemistry was pretty great and these two totally nailed it. The constant flirting and witty banter was really entertaining and fun. Their relationship was for sure hot but it was so much more, with more depth. We could definitely sense the connection and how deep was their love to each other. The dynamic was awesome. The interaction between all the characters was really great, the storyline was solid, showing a wide range of emotions, reading about the backstage of a tour, the aspirations and dreams, the thrill and intensity of being on stage, doing the thing you love with all your heart.Usually I was waiting for the other shoe to drop but I liked the turning events and how the author build Lexi and Trent’s story, as individuals and together. The tour with the 3 Ugly Guys was a wonderful journey, definitely not that I was expecting. Reading about Trent finding his match definitely worth it. Can't wait to read more about these endearing characters!

Detour is a new Rockstar Romance, that will have you wanting more. Trent is part of the band Three Ugly Guys. They’ve been together for years. The popularity has grown and they're starting their tour. A new act is coming to open and that is Lexi Marx. She’s talented, and honestly, I think more talented than those Three Ugly Guys. Lexi has a lot she’s dealing with inside. She’s stubborn and wants to do everything by herself. Then there’s Trent who wants nothing but to have Lexi, even though he’s been warned. This was an enjoyable read. I’m still on the fence about Trent, not sure if I really like him. Overall, I think he’s a good guy but just really cocky. But Lexi is a force to be reckoned with. The writing was done well and I was interested to see where Shea led us. The only thing is, I didn’t emotionally connect with the characters. It didn’t pull at my heart strings. But they played beautiful music together. One thing I do want to mention, I do love this cover. It was different for me. Usually, rock star romances have the buff male on the front. This cover really gives you that feel, that it's not like every other rock star romance. Overall, I give this Four Boundless Stars. http://www.boundlessbookreviews.com

Lexi is an up-and-coming rock musician who ends up getting the gig of her life opening for new sensation Three Ugly Guys. She deals with sexism in a male-dominated industry that she has an interesting connection to- but prefers to make it on her own merit. Lexi is tough as nails to protect herself after being let down numerous times by family figures.Trent is the lead singer of Three Ugly Guys, which is a pop-rock band made up of guys who act like goofy brothers. He is known as a playboy and butts heads with Lexi (who isn't impressed by his reputation). An incident lands them in proximity to each other, and no matter how much they fight their attraction to each other, they cannot seem to help themselves. The banter between the band mates as well as between Kacey and the band (especially Trent) was great- witty, funny, spunky, and a bit crazy. The timeline was realistic, and I really liked how the characters seemed to be the opposite of who they actually are- based on their persona. A fun and fast read with chemistry, fun characters, and plenty of spirit.

Brilliant!!!I seriously devoured this book! I have a book buddy Kathy whom left a raving review for this book. I think I downloaded this before her but she read it first, after reading her review I bumped it up in my TBR. And seriously happy that I did. This is my first read by this author and definitely won't be the last.OK first of all this book was so freaking good, the flow and storyline was great. The interaction between the band 3UG was freaking hilarious. Eating the wings contest was and is an awesome way to figure out a dispute between the guys. And I think that Trent's mother was the coolest mom ever!! Trent is the lead singer and front man for the band 3Ugly Guys (3UG). He is a manwhore and he loves women. He kind of meets his match when it comets to his opening act in a little blond firecracker. Once he hears her sing, he's a goner.Lexi is a very talented singer and song writer. Gets a chance of a lifetime to be the opening for the group of 3UG. She got it on her own merit and not her famous fathers coattails. Lexi is actually a very complicated individual. She is also good at retaliation too. She rocked that eyebrow incident lol hilarious!!This book had angst, hot sex scenes, fast storyline, laugh out loud moments and was just brilliantly written. Cannot wait for the next book in this series. Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis

One of the best things about this novel is how you actually get rockstar performances. The author gives you the characters high and lows from performing. Lexi is this hard a$$ rocker chick that basically shows the boys that she's not popstar. But really no matter how tough she is her emotions are no match for Trent. He kind of sweeps you off your feet before you realize you have fallen. I wasn't to sure about them being together though because you know how lead band members are. It was alot of back and forth between them because of Lexi's parents. Her dad was famous and it made her have sore spot when it came to musicians. I thought for sure that I would be there down fall. However when Trent slept outside the bedroom door I think I feel head over heels!

A Great ReadI really liked this story and although it has some of the same formulas of other Rock Star books the Author is able to create characters that you care about. Three Ugly Guys are on their way up and even though they can't seem to keep a drummer, their manager tells them the label wants them to audition females for the job,the guys balk and compromising agree to a female opener. Lexi Marx can't believe she is getting her break finally and more importantly on her own merit. Travis, TUGs front man and sex addict takes one look at Lexi and knows she's gonna be trouble. I loved Travis, a total manwhore but a momma's boy. His band mates Austin and Sean are also likeable goofballs and Lexi shines as a girl that has hurt her whole life but let's love in with minimal second guessing. Glad everyone in the band will be getting a book, but bummed it won't be until next year

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review After meeting the Three Ugly Guys band in Kacey Shea's Uncovering Love series, I couldn't wait to get on the bus and go on tour with all of them and experience their life on the road. Kacey soon has readers wrapped up in all their practical jokes, sexual tension, and overall angst. I couldn't help but fall deeper in love with all of these delicious rock stars and develop a girl crush the size of Texas for Lexi. It wasn't long and I was drooling and more than ready for Trent and Lexi to get physical and delve deeper into their emotional psyche. Trent Donovan has sex appeal and charisma oozing from every pore in his body. He is impossible not to love with his easy charm, wit, and his lip biting muscled frame. It was beyond entertaining watching the rock star playboy not only fall for Lexi but also tear down her walls to see the beauty underneath. He captured my heart with his kindness and ability to make everyone laugh. I was enamored from beginning to end. Lexi Marx is so complex and real behind that rock star kitten facade that she presents to the world. It was heartbreaking but filled me with nothing but admiration after learning of her past and what she has done to overcome it and succeed so far in the music business. Kacey brought us a damaged heroine who needs to grow by leaps and bounds to not associate her past with her future or else there is no hope for her and Trent to be together. Kacey Shea delivers us a road trip with some rock star hotties unlike any other. I highly recommend Detour for a fun loving, steamy romance that shows that no matter you past, love can see you through anything and everything. Kacey impresses me more with each new character that she introduces or story that she creates. I cannot wait to get up close and personal with Sean next and indulge in some more musician hotness with all of the guys from 3UG!

If you have read the Uncovering Love series you will remember the band Three Ugly Guys. I received an ARC of this book and am so happy to leave a review for this five star read. If you are a fan of rock romances then this book is definitely one to put on your TBR and one click when it goes live. Trent is the lead singer of 3UG and he drips with sex appeal and a voice that can make any woman weak in the knees. Lexi Marx has been brought on as their support act and this fiery little number wants nothing to do with Trent even though he makes her heart race and butterflies flutter inside her stomach. Their story is one of self discovery and confronting the past. The chemistry between the band members and Lexi is off the charts and this girl can hit back with the smart remarks and one liners just as good as they can. This story will keep you intrigued as you take the journey with Lexi to dealing with her past. Absolute heart warming beautiful love story that will have you falling in love with these characters. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

This is my first book by Kacey Shea, and let me tell you it won't be my last. I love rock romances, and this was one of my most favorite. If you are a fan of rock romances then this book is definitely one to put on your TBR and one click when it goes live. Trent and Lexi are the main characters in this book and it was SO awesome to see Trent get a run for his moment, and wow, Lexi has so much sass, she doesn't take anyone's junk. This story will keep you flipping pages as you feel like you are taking the journey with Lexi to dealing with her past. This story is told in alternating views. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

So good, so good. Kept me intrigued the entire time. I loved getting to know these two. Trent, wild and willing is a softy. Trent is in the band, Three Ugly Guys, and they are a hoot. The brotherhood with these guys was great. They took care of each other and love one another. Lexi joins them on tour, bringing a little more sex appeal to the tour and a little eye candy for the guys in the audience. Trent is intrigued. The chemistry with these two made the story. I loved how they worked. I cannot wait to read more about this band.

4.5* When I pick up and start a book by Kacey Shea I know exactly what I'm going to get. I know it will be well written with characters that are relatable, a plotline that realistic and that it will be threaded through with tons of humor and Detour is no exception to any of those things. Veering from her beloved firemen and Kacey has, this time, dipped her toes into the waters of rock stars and she has done it well.Singer and guitarist, Lexi Marx, a rock legacy, though she doesn't want that known, becomes the opening act for the band Three Ugly Guys. Trent, lead singer and guitarist for 3UG, doesn't want problems on the road so he has the guys make a pact that Lexi is off limits while on tour with them. Fortunately for him, fate decides that the pact doesn't mean squat. Kacey gave her heroine, Lexi a diminutive stature but a lengthy dose of ambition and talent. Lexi is smart and determined. She wants to succeed on her own terms and by her own credit. She is a great character how hides her past pain behind a touch-talking , hard working exterior. Trent, on the surface, is a man whore rock star only in it for the fame and the women. Luckily, you find out quickly that being raised by a good woman, gave this charismatic crooner a good heart beneath his playboy exterior. Kacey took what can be an exaggerated stereotype and instead gave him depth, sensitivity and vulnerability without sacrificing his man card. The story is an easy read as it follows Lexi and Trent, along with fellow (and hilarious) bandmates Austin, Sean and Iz, on the road. Ms. Shea, as always, adds the perfect touch of heartbreak and misunderstanding to keep the story interesting and fresh without going over the top. Her love scenes between Trent and Lexi have the right balance between steamy and sweet with enough heat to make you need a fan and a cold drink. When you are gathering your beach reads for this summer definitely put this one on the short list of one-clicks.

4 Stars!A hot, playboy rock star + a sassy, newcomer = Sexy, contemporary romance!Trent loves three things—music, his mom (yes, I said his mom) and p&%$y. Seriously, he talks about it ALL the time. When his band is forced to add a female to the tour, he promptly proclaims how much he hates “chick singers.” I have to tell you, Trent is a bit hard to like in the beginning. He is the quintessential manwhore rockstar. His band mates are not much better. It took a while for him to grow on me, but when he did… he really did.Lexi is the daughter of one of the most beloved rock stars, only she hates him and wants nothing to do with him or his name. She is bound and determined to make a name for herself. She gets the chance of a lifetime to join 3 Ugly Guys on tour as their opening act. I liked Lexi, a lot. She is strong, sassy and takes no crap from anyone and yet she has a soft, insecure side that I found endearing. She holds her own against Treat and the guys on 3UG and is accepted into the fold almost immediately. The attraction between Trent and Lexi is almost immediate. She is attracted to him, but pushes him away because of his reputation and her past experience with rock stars and the rock star lifestyle due to her dad. Trent isn’t used to be told no and this only makes him pursue her harder. Of course, once he sees and decides he wants Lexi, he changes his manwhore ways. These kinds of books generally drive me crazy, because I am a pragmatist, but this one, for some reason, endeared me. I loved the characters, liked the story progression and I felt the writing was very good. I did not, however, like the ending. It was too rushed for my taste. I can say I want more of 3UG. I want Austin and Sean’s stories and more of Lexi and Trent.Take a chance on this fun rock star romance! I think you are going to love Trent and Lexi!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 4.5 StarsDetour is the first story in the Off Track Records series, a series of rock band Three Ugly Guys. This story was a really enjoyable read. It was the first time I have actually read a novel by Kacey Shea, although I have 2 books of hers waiting on my kindle to be read. I will definitely be reading more from Kacey in the future. Lexi is an aspiring solo rock artist. She is so feisty but also really sweet. I loved the way she interacted with the guys in the band during their tour. Trent is a lover of the ladies, and that is all ladies, he doesn’t discriminate. When we first meet Trent he is showing us how much he loves these ladies, and I thought to myself ‘Great, another story about a rockstar who can’t keep it in his pants, but it totally wasn’t like that at all. I fell in love with Trent’s character. He is so sweet and caring. He would do anything for Lexi. I loved the connection that Trent and Lexi have in this book, electrical but deeply emotional. The anticipation to that first kiss had butterflies breeding in my stomach! I just loved the feeling of anticipation every time they clashed or loved in this story. The story is also quite emotional, I teared up towards the end and felt so sad for Lexi. Real life issues in this book could be a trigger for some, but I don’t want to give too much away as it may give away some of the storyline. I also really liked the secondary characters. I think Austin would have to be my favourite out of all the boys so I can’t wait for his story. Kacey has given us a really well written beautiful slow burning romance. I can’t wait to read more from this series.

I'm a total sucker for a hot rocker with a heart of gold. I wasn't so sure Trent had that, with his manwhorish ways, and no desire for anything but a fun time. It took a blond pixie with a rocker style to turn his ways around and show me that he deserves a spot in my top three hot-rocker book boyfriends.Trent and his band Three Ugly Guys have finally made it, they are headlining their own tour. The women, alcohol, and women come easily to them. To soften their image a bit, their record label suggest adding a female rocker to their tour. In steps Lexie, a rarity, a female who can rock with the best of them. Not only can she hold her own on stage opening for these wild guys, she fits right in with them off stage as well. This story was filled with everything you would want from a rock star romance. The adrenaline of the performance, a bad boy who finds his perfect girl, and good friends. I love how Ms. Shea set up the characters for the next books in the series and I can't wait for Sean's story which is up next.

I could not put this book down. As with all the Kacey Shea books I have read, Detour will introduce you to characters that you can't help but fall in love with. In Detour, we meet the guys from Three Ugly Guys. I was so excited to know the story of the sexy and over the top womanizer of their lead singer, Trent Donovan. I love that we have a rock band who are truly family. They welcome the latest and newest up and coming opening act Lexi Marx. They become protectors and treat her like one of the guys. The only rule is she is off limits. Being on tour can take its toll when you live in tight quarters for so many weeks and it can also be a disaster if you become involved romantically.I felt for Lexi and her past. Trent’s dedication to Lexi was overwhelming. Kacey Shea will pull feelings from you and you have no choice but to want more. I cannot wait to know the stories of the rest of these band of brothers.

This can be read as a standalone. It is a spin off on one of the characters from the Love series. The three ugly Guys was a band that was a part of the love series but this book is just about the band and one main character, Trent finding love when he least expects it. With that said, I loved this book! I love Kacey Shea’s writing. She really knows how to get into your heart and make you feel like you are right there alongside the characters. Lexi is rock stars daughter who is trying to find her own place and fame without piggybacking off of her dad’s career. She has always had to deal with life alone and struggles with letting people in. When she gets paired with The Three Ugly Guys as their opening act on tour everything changes. Lexi must learn how to accept true friendship at its finest, while Trent, the lead singer must learn to co-exist with a woman for more than pleasure! In Trent’s line of work, it’s never been an issue. But when Lexi worms her way into his heart, his only option is to show Lexi he’s all in! let me tell you, this book had me laughing so hard at times that I couldn’t breathe! The pranks and banter that the band partakes in are hilarious! And when Lexi takes revenge for her missing “items”, the boys end up with a makeover! By far the funniest part! There were points my heart broke for Lexi and everything she had to endure, not only from her absent father, but her pushy mother as well. She’s tough as nails but with Trent by her side, loving her the whole way, she can face anything. With dealing with death to finding out she has a half sister, Lexi must find a balance in life. I loved the chemistry that Trent and Lexi had from their first meeting and watching them grow as a couple was earth shattering. Finding a love like that is rare!! All in all, this was a great book, and a wonderful spin to see characters from the Love series! I hope we get a glimpse of the other band members!!!

Detour by Kacey Shea was a fun, sexy read with a touch of angst. Who does not love rockers and the woman who goes toe to toe with them? Trent Donovan and his band, Three Ugly Guys, have worked long and hard to make it in the music industry. All their dreams are finally coming true. He is living the life of a rock star! Women, fame and parties are his life now. He is content. What else could he ask for? Lexi Marx is ready to hit the music industry by storm. She has been surrounded by music all her life, but is determined to make it on her own merit and talent. She does not need her absentee rock legend of a father to open any doors for her. When she finally gets the break she needs, she is determined to put her mark on the world and stay away from the members of the rock band she is opening for. No one knows better than her the consequences of falling for a rocker. I loved Trent. Yes, he was cocky and confident, but he earned that right and never lied or made promises. The ladies knew who he was and what he wanted. He gave them what they desired and everyone was happy. That is until he meets Lexi. She rocked his world and seemed to bring out the softer side of him. A side that wanted to be a better man for her. Lexi, on the other hand, was hard around the edges and protected herself fiercely. But as we learn her background, we understand why she is the way she is. She never lets her defenses down. But when Trent comes to her defense and they begin to spend time together, everything changes and she begins to see a different side of him. I enjoyed reading a heroine that was not afraid to stand for what she wanted and believed in. She gave just as much as she took. I loved seeing a hero who knew what he had in a woman and did all he could to show her who he really was. Seeing the romance blossom between Trent and Lexi was frustrating at times, but also very sweet. I enjoyed reading Detour by Kacey Shea and hope to see the other band members get their stories as well. I was intrigued with the slow burn of the romance, the friendships between the band members and with Lexi and I loved Trent’s mom. This was another great read from Kacey Shea. I give Detour by Kacey Shea 4-stars.Happy reading!

This was at first your typical rockstar romance except one big difference was that the female lead was a rockstar herself! That was a cool twist. I thought this was a sweet story. Some minor inconsistencies bothered me about concerts, for example why was the main act going onstage just as the opening act left the stage? I didn’t think there was anything special about it that really got my attention. It was cute and sweet and I liked Trent and Lexi but nothing really grabbed me and held on. I’m interested to read the second book in the series to see what the other members of Three Ugly Guys are actually like. Reviewed by: Alexis B.

Trent Donavan is the lead singer of Three Ugly Guys, and the newest golden boy of the rock world. With his new found fame, there is a huge abundance of women at his feet, not to mention the drugs and alcohol. But women are his main addiction after a show. This all changes when a sassy blonde named Lexi, joins the tour. She love music as it runs in her blood because she's the daughter of a rock legend, albeit illegitimate. However, she's proud, and determined to make it in the music business on her own talent, so when her agents scores her the opening act for Three Ugly Guys, it looks like her dreams are coming true. However things get dicey when she is forced to spend time with Trent, as she wants the manwhore to stop hitting on her. But Trent wants to make her his, so he's bound and determined to prove to her that he's not the bad guy she believes him to be. There isn't anything that I didn't love about this book, as even the length was awesome (although I would never say no to more), because I was absolutely so invested that it was like I was on tour with all of them. Lexi and Trent kept me laughing with their witty banter/arguing was awesome, and their hot sparks shot out of my kindle. Kacey Shea is a talent that I'm a newer fan girl of, as her writing style is brilliant and original in my opinion. Detour was way beyond awesome, and it was miles above the usual rock romance, as it came off highly original which I LOVED! I'm really hoping that this is going to become a series, because I'm going to need more Trent and Lexi, even if it's as secondaries, so with all of that being said, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was a sweet romance where the H and h don't fall in love right away. I like it that the author took her time with the two main characters wherby they first get to know each other before they become an item. Oh and I must warn you, there was som heartache and a lot of laughter. There were really some funny moments.Overall this was a very good read and I loved it.

From the very first page, I couldn’t set this book down. I instantly fell in love with Trent’s refreshing energy and personality. He was authentic from the first sentence. When I came upon the chapter where I met Lexi, I was sad, missing Trent instantly, but the author wrote so well, it wasn’t long before I’d decided that I actually preferred Lexi to Trent… until the following chapter where I was once again, absolutely loyal to Trent. And so the story went. But one of the best things about this novel isn’t falling in love with the characters, its how you actually get rock star performances from everything, plot, character development, pure entertainment. The author takes you right along with the characters’ high and lows. Lexi is this kickin’ A rocker who shows the boys that she's got true game and grit. She is truly tough to the core because of the life she’s been handed, but her emotional walls are no match for Trent. He kind of sweeps Lexi up, taking you along for the ride, before either of you realize it.This story is perfectly told and one a mourned for when I turned the last page. FIVE STARS

I really enjoyed this book, at first I struggled with getting into it. But after a few chapter I fell in love with all the characters and the way the story was going. I loved all the humor, I was cracking up a lot. The chemistry between Lexi and Trent was hot and the development of their relationship was amazing, with all the push and pull you weren't sure which way it was going to go. I recommend this one.

Ended Up Being a Great Book!I am so happy I continued to read this book after the 1st couple of chapters. For some odd reason I had a hard time getting into not only the characters but the storyline too. Glad I stuck it out though, it was worth it!

I enjoyed this book. It was a little hard for me to get into the story and make a connection with the characters, but once I did it was incredible. I loved the entire band in this book. They had me cracking up and I loved how they always supported each other. Trent and Lexi had great chemistry and an awesome push/pull relationship. The sex scenes were hot and Trent definitely made me swoon! If you like rock star romances with some sexy scenes, drama and humor this book is for you!
