This book is a beautiful way of the turning the maiden/mother/crone aspects of women on its head. We are all of them and none of them at the same time. Most importantly all women contain a little of the divine.I admit I cried while reading this but that's ok cos one of the characters, despite being a very strong woman, cries all the time too. What a way to portray that being vulnerable is a sign of strength.

I won a copy of this book from the SPFBO giveaway. It's wonderfully written, has a unique format, and powerful story. I honestly had trouble putting it down.
