A trip to the wrong side of town puts her in the middle of a living nightmare when she’s saved by a dark knight. He makes her feel things she never dreamed possible. But reality slaps her in the face when she learns he’s no different from anyone else. Taking matters into her own hands, she buys a one-way ticket to Reno—new town, new friends, new life. She even decides to change her name. Torq is a member of the Rough Riders and not a man to mess with. Having a drink at Bottoms Up—a strip club his MC owns—he sees Angel dance for the first time. Only she turns out to be the girl he saved from being sold as a sex slave; she’s the preacher’s kid. But she’s not like he remembered, which only makes him want her more. When someone comes into town with a grudge, Angel will be put in the line of fire, because everyone knows the best way to hurt your enemy is to hurt the person they care about the most. He’s already saved her once, but he’d gladly go to hell and back to do it again. *** WARNING: Book does end with a cliffhanger. ***...

Angelica Hock spent the first eighteen years of her life as nothing more than the preacher's daughter. Tired of living someone else's life she decides to leave to start a life that will make her happy. Before she can get out of town, though, she has a run in with a man who attacks her. Luckily she's saved by another man whom she thought was her protector, only to realize he's no different than the people in her town as he labels her nothing more than the preacher's daughter. As she starts her new life she tries to put her savior out of her mind, but then he shows up at the strip club she's working. Once Torq he realizes the Angel on stage is the girl he's saved he needs to know more about her and he'll do anything to get her to forgive him. The Preachers Daughter is Shelly Morgan's start to a brand new series, and after that ending it won't be a series that I will be missing the conclusion to. While I rated this book two stars I did enjoy the overall story and my curiosity has me dying for the rest. I definitely had my issues throughout my reading but there was a lot of potential in this book and if only it had a little more story to it I would have really enjoyed it. My main issue was that not enough happened. I get that it's going to be a multi-part story but this first part of it just didn't have anything that kept my attention, and it felt like reading 12% of a story, not half or even a third. From the beginning to the end I felt like Torq and Angel moved very fast so I was shocked when I looked down and realized I was at 91% and that the book was almost over. Then the ending came and I was left just sitting there feeling confused and a little lost. I wanted to know more about these characters, especially since this is our first introduction to them. The story was told in dual POV's but whenever we switch to a different characters POV we also go back in time just a little. It was like getting a recap of what happened in the previous chapter but this time from a different characters POV. I would have been fine with it if it was only once or twice and seemed important to the story, but not almost every change of POV. It was just a little redundant to see things happening more than once. Bottom line, this book had a lot of good aspects to it and it's a series that I'll definitely read more of. Unfortunately I didn't feel the connection between these characters and there were some issues I had that kept me from greatly enjoying the book, but I hope others will like this book a lot more than I did. I think any fan of a good girl going bad will like Angel so don't let me discourage you from picking up this story. ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review.

This book didn't work for me for several reasons- The story was told in dual POV's but when the pov switched, their was a recap of what happened in the last POV; so basically we had to reread the same scene twice. Then for the guy to be a SOA of a MC and a bad ass that took down an entire MC on his own, he was weak and let someone get the jump on him- didn't make senseThen Angel... her reason for running was over the top- so you are labeled the Preachers Daughter... and?! Get over it- it would be more realistic for her to be bothered by the way her parents treated and controlled her **this book ends in a cliffy-- but unfortunately it didn't work for me, so I won't be waiting for the 2nd half

I was expecting fireworks them being complete opposites so I thought this would have been interesting. I didn't feel their attraction at all and they don't hook up till the very end which is to set them up for the next book. I'm disappointed there was not more development of Angel and Torq, I didn't feel their connection at all. Unfortunately this book has not interested me enough to read the next

Angelica Hock has only ever been known as the preacher's daughter, and she hates her life. Her parents control every aspect of it, including what she wears, down to what major she's to have at the college of their choice. After a big fight, she takes off walking and ends up on the dangerous part of town, where a man tries to assault her. Just when she thinks it's all over, she's saved by a dark knight, who makes her feel things she never knew she would. But once he finds out who she is, he's not so dreamy. Finally sick of her life, she runs away, lands in Reno, and changes her name. Now she's a dancer at Bottoms Up, a strip club that the Rough Riders MC owns, and couldn't be happier. Torq finally gets home to his club, and is having a drink at Bottoms Up, when he lays eyes on Angel, and from that moment on, he decides to make her his. But he doesn't remember that he met her before, and is shocked when she reveals that fact. While trying to keep his distance, someone is back in town for revenge, so will he be able to keep Angel safe?WOW! I just devoured this book in less than 2 hours, as I was fully captivated cover to cover. Torq and Angel's chemistry left me having all kinds of hot flashes, as the fiery ball of flames picks up speed towards SCORCHIN' HOT sexy scene goodness. Shelly Morgan has a very talented writing style that I am highly addicted to, and I can't get enough. Twists and turns are swirling around making for a loud f-bomb dropping parade today, and not all answered yet. Now that I got all of that gushing out of the way, let's talk about the ending. Shelly Morgan is now on the list of authors trying to KILL ME DEAD for that ending, and yes I saw her reasoning behind it, but that doesn't change the fact that she is now hash tagged #EVILWHORE forevermore, as I'm FREAKIN' OUT! So I'll end with the next book cannot come out quickly enough, and to HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Title: The Preacher's DaughterAuthor: Shelly Morgan 4 unexpected stars The first in the new series by Shelly Morgan, The Preacher's Daughter, was the first time I've read a novel written by this author and it was an interesting read, one that had my jaw dropping with the ending (be warned, the author does specify that there's a cliffhanger ending) and hoping for more. Angelica has always lived a sheltered life and hopes to be able to find her own place where she's not dictated on what, who, when and where she should be and how. Her first attempt at breaking free almost ends in a disaster, bringing Tory to become her saviour, then walking away. Problem was that Angelica still wasn't happy with her situation and makes her way to Vegas and gets a job at Bottoms Up, a strip club owned by the Rough Riders MC. What neither Torq or Angelica ever expected was to have this new job bring them face to face once again and opening doors they thought were closed.4 breath taking dreams I had high hopes for The Preacher's Daughter and often felt like as though we were being slowly set up for something bigger and more intense - maybe the second instalment? Not to say that I didn't enjoy the book, because did, but I know, especially with that ending, that something captivating is on its way for Torq and Angelica. I'm certainly curious to find out what will happen to this series in the future. *ARC provided by Author in exchange for an honest review.Reviewed by Kathleen, The Small Girl from A small girl, her man and her books

Shelly Morgan is a New to Me Author, so when i read the Blurb i was MC book ☑️Alpha Male meets Preacher's Daughter ☑️Who doesn't love a good Biker Read. While i really enjoyed the story i did have an issue with some of the book. Not the story/plot that was great. It was that sometimes i felt it repeated it's self for fillers which really weren't needed as the story was good, gripping and entertaining, but thats a personal opinion. It takes nothing away from the book.Within the book we got a story of lust and love between a couple. One a hot Alpha Biker Dominic aka Torq the master of arms for the Rough Rides MC, the other a Sweet and Innocent Preachers Daughter.Angelica has had enough of being "the preachers daughter" following all their rules and living her life by them for them. She dreams of being a dancer and decides she's had enough its her time. But she soon finds herself in trouble and being saved by a biker Torq. But he's not the saviour she thinks he is!!After that she decides to leave and move away she finds herself dancing/stripping at a club where her past catches up to her and she comes face to face with Torq once again.Torq hasn't forgot about the girl he saved but what life could he give someone like her!! But when he meets her again after the bomb she dropped on when he didn't realise it was her all bets are off and he wants her!!This story ends on a cliffhanger so be warned but i can't wait to see what happens next.Reviewed by MillsyLovesBooksBLOG: http://millsylovesbooks.blogspot.comFACEBOOK: http://m.facebook.com/MillsyLovesBooks/TWITTER: https://twitter.com/justine_millsINSTGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/millsyloves...

The Preachers Daughter Rough Riders MC4 starsShelly Morgan Angelica has been controlled her entire life. A preachers daughter she had no choices of her own. Leaving in anger from her home she collides with a man who is eager to have his way with her on the wrong side of town. Out of the shadows her savior appears. Much to her dismay this man is no better. Leaving everything behind .. Angelica finds a job in Reno with a new name far away from reality. Torq has found his home. The MC is his family. In celebration he finds himself at Bottoms Up. The woman he lays his eyes on is a creature from heaven. Little does he know they have collided before. This was a decent start to a new series. The plot was slow at times but I feel like we are heading to a big boom. This isn't a standalone so be warned. I would love to know more about Amy .. lol! Seriously though I did love Angelica because she was kind and didn't expect anything from anyone. She was making her own way after being held captive by her parents. I found her determination and her independence refreshing. I did love the characters .. there are villains of course and turmoil along with some great secondary characters that I'm sure will show up in their own stories later. Good read for the MC fans. Thank you fir the ARC - give this one a click if you love the MC life. I think you will enjoy it! Review to oust to Ramblings FromBeneath The Sheets.

I had mixed fillings about this book liked it but didn't love . I didn't really like Angelica/ angel she just seemed a little bratty to me but in a way it was understandable with the way she raised and who her parents were I just didn't connect with her like I usually do with heroines but I did think it was awesome when she shocked Torq . Torq you're average biker but when he first saves the h and we get a little glimpse from his past and the reson why he steps in to help I felt so bad for him and then when he said those mean things to Angelica when she tried to help him I got kind of angry . But when they meet again the hero doesn't recognize her until she drops the bomb in a awesome way I wanted to high five her . You could see the attraction they both felt the pool towards each other and I thought it was sweet that he was so eager to see her dance every night . This would be my fist read from this author but I know I'll be giving her another try .copy provided for honest review ****************************************hero = 8 heroine = 7 chemistry = 8steam = 7character development = 7pacing = 8enjoyment =6writing style =8storyline =8romance =7darkness level =6humor =4pov= dualending = cliffhangercover =hotstars = 3.7author = new to me

I really enjoyed this book!I knew from the synopsis it was one I would like....and I was right!!It was no surprise that Angel needed to escape her oppressive parents but it was a series of unfortunate events that led her to Torq. There was something between these two from the get go and I loved reading as their story unfolded. This book is about unexpected connections born from unfortunate circumstances and I loved it!!!Be warned tho....cliffhanger alert!!!!!The next book cannot come soon enough for me!!!4 stars for a great read I would defo recommend!!!

The Preacher’s Daughter by Shelly Morgan Angelica is the daughter of a preacher. Her parents are not interested in her. They want the good girl who they can control, until she finally decides she has had enough. After an argument, Angelica storms off to find herself in unstable territory where she gets assaulted. Dominic/Torq from the Rough Riders MC just happens to be the knight in shining armour or is he? Parting ways Angelica decides to run away and so begins her life until she bumps into Torq again. Overall this story was okay but had huge potential to be so much more. The story was told in Dual POV but unfortunately it was a recap, so it felt like a re-read. My other problem was that there was too much unnecessary information and not enough angst and build up to the romance story. The characters interaction was limited so you don’t feel the connection between them. Towards the end of the book, more interaction happened and then you are left on a cliff hanger. Overall I enjoyed it but had some issues. I am hoping that book two will show the full potential that this series has to offer. rated 2.5Reviewed for Hot Books and Sassy Girls Book Blog

5 cliff hanging starsTalk about hot and edgy, this book had me hooked from the start. Engaging and loveable characters made it such an easy read; with a bad a** biker and a ‘good girl’ gone wild I was hooked. Angel and Torq were so easy to get lost in. Angel with her passion for living the life she wanted rather than the life she was told to; and her fiery temper was quite the combination. Torq, well I love a bad boy biker and he had this down to a T; his attitude and alpha male persona were such a turn on. I loved the cat and mouse game he and Angle played, the sexual tension between them was palpable. This book evoked so many emotions, anger, fear and lust were ever present throughout the story, and the cliff hanger ending….well thank you very much for that!! I’m not sure how I’ll last until the next instalment, so author Shelly Morgan I do hope you are busy writing. B2B Lesley

The Preacher´s Daughter by Shelly Morgan is book one in this series.Meet Angelica Hock, the 18 year old daughter of a preacher. She wants to live her own life, but her parents make her decisions. So far her life was plain and boring. She runs away. She is attacked and gets saved by the enforcer of the Rough Riders MC Reno, Torq.Angelica leaves home, drains the accounts of her parents and travels to Reno. Under the alias Angel she works as dancer/ stripper at a bar owned by the Rough Riders MC . There she meets Torq again.Torq is the typical biker, rough and violent. Angelica is naivé´.I love MC stories, but The Preacher´s Daughter is not my cup of tea.I´m sorry Shelly Morgan but this is a 3,5 Star read to me.

Preacher's DaughterIt took me a while to settle into this book, there's a few editing errors and phrases that threw me off in the beginning. It suddenly picked up about three quarters of the way through. The writing got tighter and the story flowed much better. I was really beginning to like the characters and get involved in them when - it ended in a cliffhanger. Let's hope it continues...

Angel has lived a life that wasn't hers for far too long and decides to make a change. In the process she is attacked and rescued and then becomes something completely opposite than what was expected of her. She was hoping that the man who rescued her was someone who could see through the label of the preacher's daughter, but that didn't happen with Torq. Then he catches her on stage and wants to know more. I really enjoyed this beginning to Shelly's new series and can't wait to read more.I give The Preacher's Daughter 4 hearts!

of 5 starsInnocent Dancer meets the Rough Biker!!! SPARKS FLY!!By Elaine Holcomb on February 14, 2017Format: Kindle Edition Verified PurchaseLoved Shelly's Forsaken Sinners series, and looking forward to more of this new series. Starts off with learning how Angelica's parents treat her...UGH!! I understand wanting the best for your child, but those parents.. They were going to make every single decision for her, what she will wear, wear to go to college, what to study, everything... All she wants to do is dance, and after her parents tell her they've already gotten her accepted into a college of their choice, she's had enough, she has to get out of the house.. She ends up in terrible trouble and Torq (our H) happens upon her has she's being beaten. He see's her face, bloodied, and something hits him, hard... He takes care of the problem and soon after the police arrive.. lets just say they're ready to throw the book at him, seeing as he's part of a MC, the Rough Riders. She clears him and he learns from the police that's she's the Preacher's daughter, he wants no part of that. She follows him out and he is nasty to her, hurts her in a way he doesn't understand, then turns and walks away at same time her parents show up to take her home. After listening to them berate her and thinking of Torq's rejection without even knowing her, she's out, packs a bag, grabs money and takes bus as far as it'll take her. She get a job and an apartment with the help of her co-worker, who I love!! One night out and they end up in strip club, both are intrigued and enjoy themselves and before long they are both working there. Then one night Torq walks in, see his club owns it. The manager tells him there is someone special dancing , someone who all the men want, but she never gives in.Lets just say she recognizes him and the game begins, he has no clue, just that he wants her and he will have her. I LOVED how he found out..The teasing, taunting between them is great.. They both want each other, BAD!! There is a major cliff hanger, so hopefully it won't be long, I need to know what happens, like NOW!!

The Preacher's DaughterBy: Shelly Morgan4 Star Review by Kristie KThe Preacher’s Daughter is so sexy, rough, and addictive, it’s positively…sinful…Angelica Hock is an innocent…and some people may even be surprised she has a name, because everyone see’s her as The Preacher’s Daughter. Forever branded by the family she was born into, Angelica grows up under a strict rules, and the expectations held for her are crushing. When she finally decides to stand up for herself, Angelica finds herself in the wrong part of town…at certainly the wrong time. When an unknown savior rescues her from a bad situation, she hopes he will see her differently. After all, he doesn’t know her… When her gratitude is thrown back in her face, and he proves to be no different than everyone else, Angelica packs her bags and leaves her hometown. Landing in a new state, with a new lease on life and a new name, she plans to prove that she’s no Angel…Torq is the Sergeant at Arms for the Rough Riders MC, and he is damn good at what he does. Sworn to uphold the club rules, and take down those that betray the club, Torq ends up in small town Illinois on a hunt. When he stumbles upon a girl in the wrong place, at the wrong time, he can’t help but step in. When he sees the girl for the first time, he’s struck by her beauty. But, finding out that the girl is none other than the preacher’s daughter, he knows he’s no good for her, and makes a quick and painful exit from her life. Upon returning home weeks later, he stops in for a drink at one of the MC’s clubs, and sees the new dancer for the first time. Struck by her in every way, Torq knows he has to meet this temptress, and when he finds out the dancer is someone he already knows…hell may just claim another fallen Angel…The Preacher’s Daughter is the first installment in Shelly Morgan’s new series, the Rough Riders MC. It also happens to be my first of Ms. Morgan’s novels, and I am soooo happy it is! I was intrigued completely by Ms. Morgan’s writing style, which is different from any other author I have read. I was drawn into the story immediately, and though there was a lot of details and background that needed to be created, it wasn’t long and drawn out. I found her style refreshing, and was absolutely enthralled with the world she created. There were times when I hoped for just a tad more detail, but I was not at all disappointed in the book. Nope. The character development was great, and the plot and storyline well thought out and executed. Torq showed two completely different sides to himself, which I was glad to see. Angel was awesome. Sometimes you want to shake her, but she gained such strength in her independence. The cliff hanger was a doozy…but damn if it didn’t do exactly what it was intended. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about that book, and what is going to happen next since I read the last words on the page. Well played, Ms. Morgan…well played indeed…Kristie K

As soon as I started this book I was gripped. I tried to pace myself and make this book last by reading it slowly but before I knew it I had devoured this book in one sitting. I fell in love with both the hero and heroine and the secondary characters. I really liked Angelica. I was rooting for her to get her man. Despite growing up as the preacher’s daughter, Angelica is not judgemental of others. She is down to earth, friendly and lovable. I loved her quick friendship with Amy; I would love to know more about her. I liked every single part of this book and wasn’t bored once. The storyline is easy to follow and equally as gripping. I am itching to get my hands on the next book! The cliffhanger has me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. All of her life Angelica hock hasn’t fit in. She has been controlled and forced to be whatever her parents want. She has to be the respectable daughter of the town preacher. All Angelica wants is her own identity and to be able to dance. After yet another argument with her parents about her future, Angelica leaves the house. Before she knows it she has found herself in the rough part of town and in the clutches of a dangerous man. Whilst on a run to catch a bad man for his MC the rough riders, sergeant in arms Torq hears the screams of help from a woman in danger. Not being able to leave a woman in danger, Torq rushes to the rescue. When he is arrested the last thing he expects is for the angel he saved to lie for him and get him released. When he discovers that she is a preachers daughter he is angry and lets it show by being mean to her. When her parents yet again try and control her, Angelica decides enough is enough and runs away. Starting a new life in Reno and quickly making a new friend, Angelica finally decides to live life the way she wants to. When Angelica and her new best friend, Amy decide to check out the local strip club owned by the rough riders MC, they both decide to enquire about jobs. New employed and living the dream as a stripper/pole dancer, the last person she expects to see again is Dominic (Torq). When Torq see’s the new dancer at the strip club he is intrigued and is determined to have her. When she turns him down he is irritated but determined not to give up. The next time he see’s her he discovers who she is but how will he react? What will happen between them?

This is the start to a new series and I have been excited for this book. Ever since I heard about it and couldn't wait for it to hit my kindle. Now that being said this book ends in a Cliffhanger which I wasn't expecting. So its a very quick and easy read. But if you don't like Cliffhanger books, than you may want to wait till the next one comes out!!!!! Angelica or Angel as she goes by now is a Preachers daughter. Who is tired of living under her parents rules and thumbs. She's tired of being the good girl and doing what's expected of her. She has dreams of being a dancer. After a night of almost getting in trouble and being saved by Torq. She decides to run off and live her life how she wants. I thought that Angelica or Angel was likable, but found her to be a bit naïve at times though I'm sure it was to be expected with her age.I did really like Torq. He's the SOA of the Rough Riders MC, he's a no nonsense not afraid to get his hands dirty kind of guy. But at the same time sweet, caring, protective, and smexy all rolled into one. This book really starts us off with getting to know them. Getting to know what their all about. Getting to know a little bit of their backgrounds. This book is told in deul POV's which I have no problem with whatsoever. Now here's the thing I kind of felt this book moved slowly at times and became a little repetitive, like Angelica not liking the whole being known just as the Preachers daughter. But at the same times its brought up several times in each chapter. And for this being an MC book I never really felt a connection with the club. I mean they were there, but they almost didn't feel like a club. I wasn't feeling the brotherhood connection. I'm hoping that's better in the next book. Look all around I did really enjoy this book and can't wait for the second part. I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5!!!!!***I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion***

(I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review)So... The Preacher's Daughter is my first foray into Motorcycle Club romance and since it's a cliffhanger, it definitely won't be my last! As the first in the series, the book does a good job of introducing the main characters, Angelica/Angel and Dominic/Torq and some of the members of the Rough Riders MC. The background and tension that is built between Angelica and Dominic is palpable and I found myself really rooting for them to hook up. I like that it doesn't happen right away - the build up is really enjoyable. I also really enjoyed the friendship that develops between the female characters (sometimes those relationships fall by the wayside and are neglected in favor of developing the romantic relationships). The only drawbacks for me (and it's a totally personal one) is the amount of violence portrayed (which I suppose is only natural considering that Dominic is the Sargent at Arms/Enforcer for the MC Club). It seemed as if the majority of his chapters (it's a dual POV) are devoted to detailing the work he has to do for the club and I would've rather learned more about him and his interactions with the other members of the MC (especially if they will be featured in future books). I also found Angelica to be overwhelmingly naive at times considering this day and age, but then again, she is a "preacher's daughter" that's been closely sheltered by her parents (debilitatingly so) and raised in a small town. Overall, I give the book 3.5 stars and look forward to the release of the second book in the series - the cliffhanger is jaw dropping and I'm excited to see the conclusion. If you're a fan of bad boy and motorcycle club romances, I definitely recommend this!

cracking book read it in a day.story follows angelica (angel) and Dominic (torq).after having an argument with her mom and dad who is a preacher she runs out of the house and ends up in a not so nice part of town so when a guy tries it on with her and nearly kills her she is saved buy torq her knight in shining armour who is a bad ass and belongs to the local mc club so when he nearly kills the guy they both end up getting arrested when she takes the blame for it he can't quite believe that she would do something like that for him but when he finds out she is the local preacher's daughter he goes mad telling her to go back to mommy and daddy.after this angelica is angry and upset she runs away from home and moves where she meets Amy who by the way is my fav she gave me some laugh out loud moments in this book. they both end up working in a strip club called bottoms up i kid you not where little does angel know that this is owned by the same mc club that torq is part of.after seeing her one night he doesn't recognise angel at first they play this cat and mouse game for most of the book till angel drops the bomb shell that she already knows him and that she is the girl he saved he is shocked no less and is angry at first telling her to stay away from him. when they do finally end up in bed together i wanted to clap and cheer as it takes a while for it to happen. beware it ends on a cliffhanger can't wait for next book to see what happens.

Angelica Hock is facing a future that she doesn't want. With strict parents that have already chosen her college and mapped out her life, Angelica sneaks out to think of a way to live her life focusing on her dreams. Ending up on the wrong side of town, Angelica runs into a girl's worst nightmare and a man who will save her.You need to go into The Preacher's Daughter by Shelly Morgan knowing it will end in a cliffhanger. Usually that makes me hesitant to read but I am so glad I took the chance.Angelica might be a preacher's daughter with a sheltered life but she was strong enough to break away from her strict parents to live life on her own terms. The problem I have is that she almost had it too easy with her new life. Yes, she's a stripper known as Angel now but she has a great friend and her job is pretty decent. Torq is the Sargent at Arms for the Rough Riders. Having a drink at Bottoms Up he sees Angel dancing not realizing she is the same girl he saved. Torq didn't seem like an typical tough biker to me. He was rough and deadly when it came to the MC dealings but his behavior with Angel was very tame. I just couldn't connect with Angel and Torq but that may be because there wasn't a lot of interaction before the cliffhanger. I definitely want to read the conclusion because I think this story is going to blow wide open.

OMG this book is so amazing! The author has written an awesome storyline with characters you can’t help but fall in love with: the innocent preacher’s daughter and the biker who is the ultimate bad boy! Wait let me correct that: Torq is a good man on the inside but as the “enforcer” for his MC club, he does “bad things”, necessary things, but still bad. He knows he should walk away from her, knows she pure and innocent and that he is not good for her but can he? Angelica is a strong girl that is determined to live her life her way. The night she meets Torq, she is grateful he saves her from a man who had grabbed her and meant her harm, but she is hurt when Torq labels her like everyone has her entire life without even knowing what she’s really like on the inside. Her pride has her walking away from him and not looking back. But what happens when they chance meet again? She is still hurt and angry but will she hear him out? Will she let him into her life or walk away again? I didn’t like the cliffhanger ending to this book, I so wanted to keep turning pages to find out what happens next, but I totally understand the author's reasoning (well once she explained it at the end of the book I understood). 2 Thumbs Up for a great start to the series and this reader is anxiously awaiting book 2. I highly recommend 1-clicking The Preacher’s Daughter, you won't regret it.

The Preacher's Daughter is my first read by Shelly Morgan. But after what I have just read I can for sure see myself reading plenty more of her books. Angelica has literally had her entire life planned out by her parents from the clothes she wore, friends she had, food she ate, to even what college she was going to. They didn't give her an option on anything. But she decides to change all that. She wants to be known for something other than "the preacher's daughter" But trouble is just around the corner. After almost being attacked shes saved by Torq. Torq is an officer within the Rough Riders MC. after coming to Angelica's rescue they both go their separate ways. After leaving everything behind Angelica finds herself in Reno with a new name and away from her controlling past. After a few long weeks of taking care of Club Business Torq comes back home finding himself at Bottoms Up, the MC's Gentlemen club. There he meets Angelica again but on initial sighting he doesn't remember they have met before. But she does. Does Angelica tell him who she really is and that they have met before or will she use it to her advantage after what he said to her the weeks prior after her attack? The ending of this book.. I did not see that coming and I so cannot wait to read the next book to see what happens next.
