Destination Lost: A Post Apocalyptic EMP Survival Story (EMP Survivors Book 1) Reviews
Exciting start.Parents stuck on a cruise ship, daughter high up on an unfinished skyscraper, not the best places to be when an EMP hits. The story alternates between the ship and New York, telling how they all cope and try to free themselves from the situation they are in. It's a good book, slow going in places but with a build up of tension that kept me interested and reading. I liked the main characters because they're normal people with no special skills and their actions were believable. I have a feeling that this is going to be an exciting series as the family tries to reconnect in a massively changing world.
Good starting pointThe overall story was strong and interesting. Characters showed promise to develop more as the story continues. I liked how they did not immediately know what was going on and how they were not prepared. The second book should be even better.
Good bookRead all of the books in order to really enjoy. Characters are realistic and get better than the other. Storyline continues to grow and develop.
Well written Interesting take on TEOTEAWKI. I liked the characters & it is well written with few editing errors. Sadly I had difficulty getting into it though.
needs a proofreader, and it ended weird. what I mean by that is this was sorta like the back story to the story. and the next book is going to be the actual story. but this was an actual story :) are you confused yet ?lol
I tend to read a lot of dystopia and prepper fiction. I enjoyed this, until the ending...It seemed like the author just wanted to end the book. Search didn't reveal book 2, but this one left me expecting it!
