Excellent bookI enjoyed going to New York and seeing where Any lived. I loved in Colorado for a year and enjoyed seeing it as it was years ago. The trip to Montana was scary and breathtaking. Any and Zeb's story in the Montana Brides Series makes me want to go back and read the Grandmas Quilt Series. The series is very realistic to the time and is one of the reasons I love well written historical romances. Thank you for another great adventure Patricia PacJac Carroll.

Good story...I enjoyed this story, the tale is of a woman who know a what she wants and goes after it. The author has mixed the characters together in adventure and suspense.

WHERE THERE’S LOVE, THERE’S ALWAYS ROOMI enjoyed this story that is included in the Grandma’s Wedding Quilts but is also part of the Montana Brides of Solomon’s Valley series. Each story reads as a standalone and when joined with the series, adds another layer to the families. The story is inspirational without being preachy. Zebulon Benton has had dreams since he was ten years old and spoke to a mountain man outside the family’s mercantile about the land in Montana. His dream is to move there and have a horse ranch. Every time he plans to leave, something has hindered his plans. He does seek God by praying. “It’s not in my heart to do so. Either change me or set me free. Amen.” His mother and many young ladies of Denver keep hoping he will settle down and marry. “Son, the Lord often has plans for us that we don’t even see coming. Might want to pray some about it.” Delia Benton sees an ad in the newspaper for mail-ordered brides, and pens a letter under Zebulon’s name, on flowery stationery. Amy Gordon was orphaned by the time she was sixteen and has been on her own; she decides the best thing she can do is become a mail order bride and make her own destiny. When she approaches Mrs. Chandler to become a mail-order bride, she is given Zebulon’s request and agrees to go to Denver. The plot has a mother interfering in her son’s future, a mail order bride, a Sheriff, heading to Montana, troublemakers in town, a nefarious group traveling to Montana, a rescue, and learning to put your faith and trust in God. Sometimes the future and dreams have a twist that wasn’t expected. Amy’s attitude and the outlook for her future remain positive, even when Zebulon refuses to accept her. “If you’re smart you’ll take me with you and have the perfect wife God intended for you.” Love will find a way; it is their Destiny.

Zebulon's Bride! First Book I have read by this author and I enjoyed it. I loved the hero, but the heroine got on my nerves a little in the middle of the book but she redeemed herself towards the end. This is Book 7 in the Grandma's Wedding Quilts series, which I am loving very much and also Book 2 of A Montana Brides of Solomon Valley Novella. A cute and sweet novella that I would recommend. He Had PlansWeb had plans for his future and they didn't include a wife. I liked how the author set up the romance thanks to a meddling mother trying to keep her son close to home. The characters were well-written. I almost liked some of the supporting characters more than Zeb and Amy. I also enjoyed the brief introduction to Yellowstone Park as Zeb goes after her when she is captured by unscrupulous con men. A delightful read.

His mother tries to keep him close to home by ordering him a mail order brideI love books that start out like this! Zeb is a bit slow in his acceptance of God's will for his life! Then once he accepts God's plan God throws a wrench in it! Wonderfully entertaining with a slice of suspense!

Adventure RomanceThis was a very good read. I enjoyed the tenacity of Amy and the stubbornness of Zeb. Together they could be great, if only Zeb would realize that having a wife is not the end to his plans.
