Another silly book that I enjoyed but this one was even shorter. I enjoyed Rolanda and Pontuck but Avery just annoyed me. The Cookie Monster name was annoying and she makes them look like fools. Like I said in my last review these books are ridiculous, but if you find yourself needing a mindless short read these seem to do the trick.

**3.5 Stars**I enjoyed this one. I actually ended up liking Rolanda. I wasn't sure I would but I did and she makes a great mate for Pontuck. I have to say though, I did not like how Avery was acting. I felt she was taking advantage of her status. I liked her in the first one but this one, not so much. From reviews I've read, it doesn't seem she improves in book 3 which disappoints me.

Seriously, these books are funny! 3.75 starsI loved Pontuck. He was so sweet. I loved how he thought Rolanda was singing when she was cursing a blue streak!I did not expect to like Rolanda. I cannot say that I find such a butchy woman attractive, but he loved her, thought her beautiful and brought out the girly side in her. But never made her give up who she is. And she is a total badass!Another great edition to the series!

This was an OK readThe heroine is a smart woman and knows how to fight and she was the only one among the group that can really kick ass even from the first book. Rolanda was a fighter and had muscles to prove it. She and Pontuck were very sweet. She is probably the one that I think is leader material than Avery. Avery in this book was just plain spoiled. She doesn't really lead she just make the men do what she wants which is ridiculous. I'm not even sure why the men follows her. How can the men even respects her when she just lay and command Turic to massage her feet. The first two couple was just plain stupid for me. The story started on Pontuck's POV and calls himself Cookie Monster because Avery the "Saku" calls him that which is disturbing but I find his undying loyalty to the saku kind of cute. (even if the person in question is not deserving) Pontuck works really hard for his mate and even though he was shot by an arrow because of miscommunication he still cares a lot for his mate. He rescued Rolanda from the Creep whose name is basically Creepe. Creepe didn't like Avery as a leader and didn't really respect her and doesn't think of her as a saku but a whore and in this case seeing how she leads her life it is pretty much understandable. Rolanda didn't fall easily for Pontuck but with the way he looks at her and tells her how beautiful she is to him it was hard not to fall in love with the said guy. Especially if the guy would die first just to see your safe and that's what Pontuck is. Their story was just very sweet but still lacking for me to really love it.

Rolanda Vogel (aka Xena the warrior woman?) still lost in the Zandipor land was fierce fighting for her life but also sort of naïve. When she faced the blue aliens, she was not at her best. Why did you consider yourself a good judge of character? I laughed a lot reading how she interpreted the facts and reached conclusions. And around Rolanda the poor Pontuck, aka Cookie Monster, was more lost than a cockroach in the chicken dance. What a pair! It was so amusing their interactions before the translator. Liked Pontuck’s perseverance, his attentions to Rolanda, his wooing skills and his mighty survival power. Seems Rolanda found the one who cared and wanted her for herself. And that Avery, what a naughty girl! Two very different characters Rolanda and her. Mandy is still missing and to complete evil is around the corner. The story was very entertaining and amusing with some tender moments, passionate scenes, some fierce fights and the end suggest that something very bad is going to happen. Each time the stories get better.

Hilarious alien romance, with plenty of laughter, sexiness, and danger. Rolanda was a Mixed Martial Art fighter on earth and at the top of her class. But after being abducted by aliens and crashing on an alien planet, she has to convince her self that she is still the bad ass fighter that she was on earth. As she fights for her life against creatures that she never could have dreamed up she wishes like hell she was back on earth. Pontuck aka Cookie Monster has been given the task of finding the missing humans from the crash, when he comes upon Rolanda he is amazed at her strength, fierceness, and beauty. When a giant blue alien appears out of nowhere and saves Rolanda she is happy the thing trying to eat her is dead, but not so sure what to do with her blue alien savior, especially when he tried to mate her! With one misunderstanding after another, poor Rolanda and Cookie Monster get into more and more trouble. Will they live long enough to get to communicate with each other?

I reluctantly continued with this series because I was curious what had happened with the remaining lost characters. This book is more moving than the first, with the hero more reluctant to start a relationship. Lots of humor and some blood.Typos: homophone mix-ups (its/it's, affected/effected, past/passed), "parts" for "departs," stray comma (Where's, Avery?), incorrect capitalization of "gods" and "their/a god," confusion of noun (showoff) for verb (show off).

Another sci-fi romance with a bit of a twist featuring a kick butt heroine. She stabs him with his own arrow as he tries to rescue her. She's not going down without a fight to anything. Read to see how they reach their HEA.

ANOTHER HIT!This was another good and humorous story! I am really liking these blue men and their unique "talents" which really says a lot about Kim's imagination. Why can't our men have that bump?! Love the series but wish they were longer books.Highly recommend!

Barbarian Two: A Science Fiction Alien Romance Alien Barbarians of Zandipor Book 2by Kim Fox , Juno Wells ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Barbarian Two is book 2 of Alien Barbarians of Zandipor and it's the perfect blend of humor, action, sex and suspense! There is lots of comic relief from the characters thrown into an environment where one of them are completely out of her element then there is danger they had to face from one I totally disliked but he made this story one I could not put down. Our hero and heroine are from different plants and they had to overcome the language barrier between Rolunda and Pontuck ( aka Cookie Monster) OMG did I laugh just writing about this is making me laugh and then there's the chemistry between them is funny, intense and off the charts hot. Wow..and I mean WOW! Pontuck (aka Cookie Monster) haha is dripping with all that alpha yummyness and I must say I could easily change places with Rolunda and have a few daydreams myself. I love Kim and Juno's sense of humor and the sass and bada** they gave Rolunda. Then we get to read about her meeting with Avery and I could have had a accident myself laughing so hard. This storyline is everything you can expect and more. I just want to say, sometimes as a reader we will come across a book that is so great and funny, that instinctively we will examine the pages in an effort to analyse what makes this particular book so appealing. Can it be the short punchy sentences, the precise vocabulary, the type of verbs used, or the elegance turn of the phrase? Is it the depth of the characters, that it makes us laugh, or the storyline? Usually I can tell what makes a particular storyline awesome, but this one has so many good points and when you read it I hope you agree with me, because when I read a story I'm looking to escape my reality for a while and if it makes me laugh also then I'm in my own little world that these two fantastic writers have given me and for that I thank them. This storyline has made me want to read the next book in this series bad, I am on the edge my seat waiting.I am voluntarily reviewing a book gifted to me by the author with no obligation. I definitely recommend this book. It is a fantastic read!!!.If you believe in the world of shifter romance then the possibilities are endless and always fascinating.

Wow! I will never look at Cookie Monster the same again. The first book in this Barbarian series nearly made me wet my pants laughing, and I have to say Barbarian 2 is no different. This book is so damn funny, but it's more than that. It's also emotionally impactful, and Lordy is it ever sexy! Basically, this book is everything you need to keep you riveted from word one to the very last page. I couldn't put it down. These characters have become close to my heart. They are so honest and real and so beautifully flawed. They draw you right into the story and make you believe. They're not perfect (except for Pontuck aka Cookie Monster. He's pretty close to perfect), but that's what makes them so relatable. They get scared and they have insecurities and doubts, and sometimes they do the wrong things, but you're right there with them, rooting for them and willing them to make it. Pontuck's needs are simple. He just wants to find his mate, protect her, and make her happy. Rolanda's needs are more basic. She just wants to stay alive... until she meets Pontuck. It's only then that she starts to realize how much she's really been missing in her life. Their courtship is nothing short of hilarious. Actually, a more appropriate term for their courtship would be hilariously sexy, because these two sizzle when they manage to get it right. Everyone's favorite Tin Tom made an appearance in this book as well and it seems he's been up to no good, although not in his mind. He thinks he has done everyone a favor. Guess we'll just have to wait until the next book to see what comes of this. I, for one, can't wait. Overall, I found the book to be side splittingly funny, sweet yet sexy, and oddly romantic. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a witty, provocative, and captivating read. * I was given an ARC of this book by the author and voluntarily chose to review. All opinions are my own.

Barbarian 2 is book two of Alien Barbarians of Zandipor by Kim Fox and Juno Wells. This series is a science fiction romance. In book two the Drandroka Pontuck, recently renamed Cookie Monster and Creepe are out searching for Mandy and Rolanda, the other two humans that survived the spaceship crash with Avery in book one the Barbarian. Cookie Monster, which he prefers being called because he believes it's an honor bestowed upon him by the Suka Avery, doesn't like Creepe not does he trust him. When Cookie Monster finds Rolanda, he immediately believes she is his mate. Problem is he doesn't have on his translator so they can't understand each other. Rolanda is immediately scared of the crazy alien. Rolanda hides from him. The next day when she meets Creepe and he speaks English she trust him. Creepe tries to take her for himself. Creepe intends to rape Rolanda and take her to a rivalry tribe to use and abuse her. Cookie Monster will do whatever it takes to save his mate and return her to Avery.Rolanda's story of figuring out which Drandroka is on her side and how to trust him is full of laughs, suspense, lust, fear, tenderness, trust, betrayal and more laughs. When I read book one I was hooked. I couldn't wait for the second book to be released. I must say I was not disappointed. Anytime a story can have you on the edge of your seat one minute, drooling over the sex scenes and laughing at the turn of the page you know you have a winner. This series is so refreshing and new. Even the dedication will have you laughing with anticipation. I can't wait for book three to be released. I'm most definitely hooked. I received an ARC from the author. I've chosen to post my honest review.

*I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book*BARBARIAN TWO by Kim Fox Rolanda Vogel was a MMA fighter on Earth, and now she's having to apply her training and skills on this alien planet. Rolanda finds herself lost and fighting for her life against some huge and scary looking alien creatures, when she sees a blue alien come to her rescue, his name is Pontuck "Cookie Monster". His job was to find the missing females and take them back to the village. But with the communication barrier and misunderstandings, Cookie Monster and Rolanda find themselves in all sorts trouble. He will do whatever it takes to protect and save his chosen female, but is it enough? Will they survive long enough to be able to communicate and get to the bottom of the conflict that stands between them? This was a very exciting and enjoyable read. The storyline continues from book one in this series, and is better read in order but can be read as a standalone. It was very entertaining and action packed. I love this new world, it's simple in some respects and quiet intriguing. I loved the characters, Pontuck "Cookie Monster" and Rolanda. Pontuck is the sweetest alien male, even if he does a few things that Rolanda thinks is creepy and weird. Rolanda is as tough as they come, but doesn't necessarily understand matters of the heart at first, but she soon sees who Pontuck really is and likes what she sees. This was a interesting and captivating read, and my favourite so far. Love the cover, it's awesome!

Well I wasn’t sure if Kim Fox and Juno Wells could surpass “Barbarian” which is book one and it was utterly fantastic. But they have really set the bar high now with book two. Book one set the back ground for the story of how Avery, Rolanda, and Mandy came to be on Zandipor, and it is also the story of Turac and Avery. “Barbarian Book Two” is the story of Pontuck (Cookie Monster as named by Avery in the first book) and Rolanda. This book will make laugh till you cry with the chemistry between Rolanda and Cookie Monster, and make you hotter than hell with the sex scenes. Then you are laughing so hard at the relationship between Rolanda and Avery. The story line and the characters are written so spot on that you cannot help but want to be on Zandipor with a blue alien of your own. Besides who wouldn’t want to be on a planet with meteor shows, dinosaurs, a big blue alien that makes you wetter than a rainy day, and a tin robot that drives you nuts? Trust me when I say that the story of Rolanda and Cookie Monster (or otherwise known as Potunk) will push you to your limits as a reader. This book is recommended for mature readers 18 years of age or older. You do not want to miss this AWESOME book.No spoilers. Advanced Reader Copy read voluntarily.

Avery has sent warriors out to find her lost friends Rolanda and Mandy. Rolanda has managed to find shelter on the hostile planet. It's a cave.A very small cave. Not only that, she is being stalked.Stalked by one of the enemy combatants on this odd rainbow-colored planet.Rolanda is no wimp. She is bad-ass.She was this close to becoming an MMA champ. She is a warrior. But, luckily for her one of the warriors sent by Avery comes to her aid.The Mighty Cookie Monster, a.k.a. Pontuck slays the beast and saves Rolanda. But there are a couple problems.Cookie Monster cannot speak to Rolanda. And he is not alone. He is in the company of another male, Creepe.Creepe has the ability to speak with Rolanda.Creepe is not to be trusted.Cookie Monster is enamored of Rolanda, but his behavior is very disturbing to her.Rolanda puts her trust in Creepe instead.Again, Cookie Monster comes to her rescue.Liking this series, I hope that poor Mandy is found. It was nice to get underneath Rolanda's hard outer shell. To see that she is a woman and has real feelings, feelings that don't revolve around fighting and being tough.

Another great read from Kim Fox and Juno Wells. This story finds Rhonda, the feisty warrior of the three women that crashed on Zandipor, alone on the planet and trying to deal with a Velociraptor type dinosaur that has had her in a cave for 10 days. Finally gathering the courage to confront the dinosaur leads her to rescued by Cookie Monster, thanks Avery for his name, one of the Drandroka who have been sent out by Avery to find her missing friends. What follows is major and hilarious miscommunications on both Rhonda and his part. Cookie Monster, Pontuck, is sure that Rhonda is his mate, but struggles with how to communicate with her. Add in the danger of a Drandroka named Creepe, who lives up to his name, that is determined to get Rhonda, but for entirely different reasons. Rhonda and Cookie Monster bond after he saves her from danger again and brings her back to her friend Avery. While Zandipor is vastly different from Earth and everything Rhonda is used to, it has it's perks especially in the form on Pontuck, when Avery renames him back to his original name. I loved this book and have loved this series. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Barbarian #2 by Kim Fox & Juno WellsAnother great story just like the first book Barbarian #2. They are being taking to Emperor Rsordan to be breed, but the ship crashes before they are able to reach his plant. The first book is about Avery and her journey, Barbarian 2 is about Rolanda Vogel and what happens to her. She has been hiding out in a cave for 10 days from a T-Rex. She only has a home made spear to fight with. There are men out looking for her because Avery told the men there were 2 pink Sandroka (women) missing from the ship she was on. Two of the men come across Rolanda and both want her for different reasons. There are different twist and turns in this story. I would highly suggest you read book #1 first and then book #2. They are both worth reading and I am looking forward to reading book #3 for these two Authors Kim Fox and Juno Wells. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy.

Man this has to be one of the strangest alien romance stories I have read this year. I didn't get to read Avery and Turic's story so I missed out on the introduction to this colorful planet with blue aliens. Avery became their Saku which is much like goddess status because they worship her. Anyway she sends her followers out to find the other two women who were kidnapped with her Rolanda and Mandy. Avery dubs Pontuck with the name Cookie Monster which he proudly bears. He finds Rolanda and quickly tries to claim her as his mate but there is a language barrier.First of all I cannot imagine crying out Cookie Monster as I orgasm it is too laughable for me. Secondly all those strange things those blue aliens could do we would never leave the bedroom but those ideas are probably what made this an enjoyable read for me. If you want to laugh and cry at the same time grab a copy.I voluntarily read this story.

Rolanda, abductee number two, has been hiding in a cave for too long. The locals are not friendlies. At least the one with big teeth and even bigger claws isn't. He can't fit in the cave. She can't stay forever. She's a female MMA fighter and the best. She's tough. Not some fem-fatal. She can do this. Right? The Blue Man, big, cut, strong, and....no, she couldn't think some blue guy on a planet far far away was sexy! So begins the story of Roland and...not even gonna say his name. Wouldn't want to spoil it for you. Avery, the first female of the three crash landed here sent the men to find Rolanda and their third. But if you can't understand them, how can you know? There are laugh out loud moments, touching moments, and some downright hot ones. You won't be sorry about reading this one—except maybe that it is finished. Another winner from Ms. Fox and Ms. Wells.I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

Ohmigod...Kim Fox and Juno Wells have crafted an absolutely spectacular continuation of the Barbarian series with Book 2. This book finds us still on Zandipor with those gorgeous blue men. Avery is still the Saku who is now Queen of the blue men...and she has sent all available blue warriors to find Rolanda and Mandy. The storyline is absolutely brilliant as new characters and situations are introduced. The characters are so well developed that as the story unfold, you sort of gloss over that Cookie Monster (Avery's name for Pontuk) is blue! Personally, I don't give a hoot that the man is blue--he's over the top gorgeous! He could massage my feet anytime! Rolanda is one lucky b**ch.You MUST read this book! It's got action, tender moments, and really hot sex. Plus, a wee bit of a cliffhanger--or teaser--regarding the future. Thank goodness for happily ever after!

Another blue alien hunk. This time, we have Pontuck, who has been bestowed the moniker "Cookie monster" by Avery in the previous book.Funniest moment: Pontuck whips his blue monster dick out thinking that Rolanda wants to mate with him. She flees, crawling into a cave that he can't fit his massive blue body into. So he does the next best thing: "He places his hard cock in the entrance of the cave." And Rolanda, being the badass chick that she is, "hits his towering cock with a rock," instead of 'going all Lorena Bobbitt on his blue ass.' In the end, Pontuck gives up and "he walks back to his cave with blue balls. Literally and figuratively."-- True story (well, true to THIS story anyway)Want more blue alien eroticom hijinks? Go forth and read.*Quotes taken from book

This is the second book in the Aliens Barbarians of Zandipor series. I really enjoyed the humor of miscommunication in this book and the sexy scenes. In this story we have Rolanda and Pontuck. Rolanda was a MMA Fighter on Earth and is very muscular and is not a wildflower by any means. Pontuck is one very big, very muscled and very tall blue man. How do you figure out what is what when you cannot understand each other? Will Rolanda ever accept being Pontuck's mate. Will she find Avery who is now the aliens Saku or Mandy? Wait till they learn the surprise the robot Tim Tom is going to reveal. This is a 5 star story and well worth reading. "I voluntarily read and honestly reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
