With the support and backing of the shapeshifters, vampires, and other paranormal creatures of the Portland area society—which includes dryads, djinn, dragons, rusalkas, and much, much more—Merry Eastwood should be outmatched. But that witch is over two hundred years old and she’s seen more than any of them could imagine. When a rash of murders pop up with evidence applied a little too liberally to pin Merry, Paige has a choice to make. Put Merry Eastwood, the most powerful witch their society has seen in centuries, away for murders she didn’t commit. Witches of the West - Reviews
We pick up with the Whiskey witches and entourage in Portland. The family pack/clan/coven is growing by leaps and bounds. They have a brand-spanking new house with room for everyone. The Blackwells come calling with herbs and the Eastwoods come calling with threats. This is where is gets really interesting. Things begin to fall apart and Paige doesn't want to trust Chuck. I am glad Jack is coming back to Portland. So much diversity in the characters. I love the other Whiskey witches Paige meets. Paige is so funny, the conversations she has with herself. I love this series!! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
I am so in love with this series. I cannot get enough of these whiskey witches. Non-stop adventures.
Another chapter in the lives of the beloved Whiskey clan. The previous book saw them leaving Texas as a full family. But nothing ever goes smoothly for Paige and crew. I was a bit sad that we had no signs of Cawli, Sven, Oriel or Nick though Rachel still as making herself felt, though she didn't actually show up in person in this book. It's nice to meet more paranormal characters, check back in with Ethel and Barn, and seeing the family grow more. There was a scene involving Leslie and a young shifter but it wasn't ever fully resolved, so i hope that will happen next book. The case against Merry has me concerned in seeing who we will need to face in the next novels as a threat to Leah, Bobby, Leslie, Tru, Alma, Dexx, Kamden, Mandy, Tim, Paige or any of her crew and clan. I need more. Please tell me more is coming soon
This 4th book in the Whiskey Witches series had a lot of change for Paige and Dexx and family. A lot of previous co-workers of Paige's join her in Oregon. We meet the other two powerful witch family covens. A lot happens but the Whiskey Coven/ packed increases in a unique and unexpected way. Loved this book.
Interestingly enjoyable Interestingly enjoyable read. A lot of famila history to sort through and types of Para but well worth it.I got so caught up in the storyline I couldn't put it down.
I very much enjoyed these witchesI really enjoyed the Whiskey Witches. All the characters were quirky in their own way and the books had lots of humor in them. Cannot wait for the next book to continue the story and see what happens to all the characters.
