*****4.5 STARS*****{ARC Generously Provided by Author}She set his blood on fire with a simple touch. Made every possessive bone in his body hers when she let her defenses down and talked to him. Her vulnerability turned him on at the same time it stoked his desire to take care of her.I have to say there is something magical about the Christmas season. Even though the weather gets too cold for my liking, I do enjoy the holiday season. All the Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel and the Christmas Romance novels are leaving me on a constant sugar high on some decadently sweet love stories. I can almost find that little girl inside of me who believed in fairytales and happily ever afters. What I can’t believe is that this is maybe the second book I’ve read that involved a romance between a common girl and a royal prince. This is the ultimate fairy tale trope and I live for this kind of sappy goodness!!! Once Upon a Royal Christmas was a delightful read but it definitely had a satisfying amount of steam as well.Rowan Palotay’s world is about to go from being dull to vibrant and exciting when she crosses paths with Prince Theodore Chenery of Montanique. Theo is visiting his maternal grandparents, who happen to live in Rowan’s hometown- Marietta, Montana. Prince Theo’s mom was in a car accident and died a few months ago. Her last wish was for Theo to go to Marietta and meet his grandparents. The trip couldn’t have come at a better time because his father, the King, is demanding that he marries soon in order to carry on their bloodline. Both his father and his older brother were allowed to marry for love but Prince Theo is being forced into an arranged marriage with someone of royal lineage. It’s not something that he particularly wants to do but being the dutiful son that he is, he feels he must do whatever his father asks of him. Theo never expected to find true love during his visit to Marietta. From the moment Theo and Rowan run into each other, there is an undeniable chemistry between them. Rowan works for the local paper and had been recently demoted to covering the Pet column after having gotten romantically involved with one of the subjects of her news article. Now her boss has assigned her to report on Prince Theo’s visit to Marietta and this assignment was actually at the request of the Prince himself. She’s warned to keep things professional or she will be fired. So Rowan will soon be faced with a dilemma as it becomes pretty evident that there is no way things could stay strictly platonic between her and Theo. She really does put up a very good effort at first but once they start spending more time together and getting to know one another on a deeper level, the feelings that develop will be beyond impossible to ignore. But how can they have a future when Prince Theo is to marry someone else? Will they be able to walk away from each other when the time comes with their hearts intact? Or will true love win in the end?If you are like me and you enjoy a really sweet Christmas romance, you will definitely want to pick this one up!!I absolutely enjoyed this story and found it hard to put down!!ONCE UPON A ROYAL CHRISTMAS is available now!! For those of you who follow my reviews, you'll know that Robin Bielman is an author who I love. As in, if-I-met-her-I-would-squeeze-and-hug-her-so-tightly-I-would-probably-be-arrested-for-grievous-bodily-harm, love. And I'm no hugger. But how could you not hug someone who consistently creates the perfect romance and never fails to hit the spot. Once Upon a Royal Christmas keeps up that trend, because seriously, Prince Theo...Every thoughtful, gentle, sexy, witty, innuendo-laden inch of him was an absolute delight. He may be royalty, but he's grounded, has no airs and graces and when he visits to Marietta, Montana to meet his maternal grandparents following his mother's death, he meets his match when he becomes acquainted with Rowan Palotay. We met Rowan in her brother Nick's story, Falling for Her Bachelor and I couldn't wait to see what her story would bring. As a secondary character she was fantastic, but Robin really does her a justice; smart, outspoken, stubborn and with a superb sense of humour and the biggest heart, she's honest with her feelings, her wants and her blossoming romance with Theo was filled with meaning, intimacy, emotion and humour. Once Upon a Royal Christmas was exactly what I want from a book with a festive theme. I want snow and snuggling and a couple to fall in love with, and from the moment I picked it up to the moment I flicked the final page, I was swept away on a romantic journey that was realistic, perfectly paced and left me with a happy heart after the laughter, tears and contented sighs. Marietta is one of my favourite places to visit, and Tule have really got the formula right with so many wonderful characters reappearing whilst new ones are introduced bringing the promise of more, yet each can easily be read as a standalone. Rowan and Theo are unforgettable characters and their story is one I'll definitely be reading again: because that's what Robin does, as soon as you finish one of her books, you want to go right back to the beginning and re-live every moment. Copy received courtesy of the author and Tule Publishing for an honest and unbiased opinion. It was my absolute pleasure.

4 - "Magic happens at Christmas time." Stars!I have been patiently waiting for Rowan Palotay to have her story told since we met her in her brothers book Falling for Her Bachelor earlier this year, and Robin Bielman gave me a story that was soooo worth waiting for.Once Upon A Royal Christmas was just perfect romantic reading escapism. I am always happy to return to the town of Marietta, Montana, and it would appear that it now has Royal connection as well, and with the Kingdom of Montanique no less."I’m here for your pants and shoes."Rowan and Theo were such a great couple, the contrasts between their personalities and upbringing made for a great connection between them and for a sexy simmer on the chemistry front, as they got to know each other on a more personal level. "I’m not most women…""...I’m getting that."Both of them know that their time together is limited to Theo’s time in Marietta, his responsibilities as heir to the throne mean he cannot just up sticks and settle down wherever he wants, the problem with that though it that he wants to be wherever Rowan is.Leaving Marietta would be harder than he’d imagined.Add in a fairy-tale ball, a bit of Cinderella magic and a lot of seasonal cheer, and Once Upon A Royal Christmas, was just a joy to read from start to finish."When I hold you against me, I don’t plan on letting you go."I really hope that Robin has the opportunity to return to Marietta and provide more stories in the future, I love going back there myself, and this author always offers up such great additions to the books and stories that are set there.ARC generously provided, and it was my absolute pleasure to provide the above honest review.

Rowan Palotay feels like she's managed to get herself put onto the naughty list this holiday season when it comes to her job as a reporter. One little mistake has her sidelined when a big story hits her small town of Marietta, Montana of a visiting Prince. What Rowan never expected was to cross paths with the prince while out dog walking and make what she thinks is one of the worst first impressions ever. Prince Theodore Chenery is in Marietta to meet his grandparents after his mother's passing. After running into Rowan he is immediately intrigued by her and insists that she is the one who will handle his interview while he is visiting. The two share a connection but with royal obligations standing in the way the prince begins to question his duties. Once Upon a Royal Christmas is not the first book I've read that takes place in this small town of Marietta and I can honestly say that they have all been quite lovely reads. It's such a lovely little place with wonderful characters that it was not surprising to me in the least to enjoy this one quite a bit too. There's just something about the holidays and this small town that is quite appealing this time of year and I was happy to venture into this story. Along with the small town holiday charm this book brings to the table you have a story that would be every young girls fantasy. Who wouldn't love to meet their very own Prince Charming and have him live up to be everything you'd ever dreamed of? The characters in this story were given their time to get to know one another as they dealt with their paths crossing and of course it turns into a wonderful holiday romance. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking out this along with the other Marietta holiday romance reads, such a lovely setting and characters in each story. Rowan made a mistake as a news reporter and now she is lucky to have a relatively small pet column in newspaper. While she is walking the dogs, she literally bumps into Prince Theo. Things don't end with only that which definitely leads them to meet again. Theo is intrigued by Rowan, she is not like other women and that's what fascinates him. Theo is visiting his mother's hometown after her death and he's interested in meeting his grandparents. He's life as a prince is all mapped out by his father, but he isn't really thrilled with his plans. Rowan is writing a story on Theo, which leads them to spend a lot of time together. They get to know each other and encourage to live the life they want to live, not to only please other people. When they fall in love, do they have a chance for happily ever after? It's sweet and enjoyable story with a fairy tale feel to it. The story fits well together with great likeable characters and a wintry small town setting. I really enjoyed the story.

Prince Theodore Chenery of Montanique has come to stay in his Mother's home town to spend a month visiting his grandparents and the area after her tragic death. His Mum had never returned after her marriage, but he has been brought up hearing all about the small town, the people and places his Mum had remembered so fondly. His visit is a personal one and he's taken over the local B&B, Bramble House, for him and his bodyguard, Hawk, for the duration of his stay.Rowan Palotay is an aspiring news reporter, though her latest gaffe has sidelined her to the pets column. She really wishes she could have been the local reporter following the Prince's visit but accepts that won't happen. She's out dog walking when the dogs decide to drag her to meet the unsuspecting Prince! That's the start of their encounters and a really enjoyable Royal romance. I've loved books by this author in the past and this is another superb read with laugh out loud moments, great characters, a brilliant plot, angst as well as twists and turns galore.I haven't read any of the Tule Montana books for a while - but I'm so glad I have started doing so again as I thoroughly enjoyed doing so! It is great to visit so many places I remember from earlier stories. There are actually a series of festive reads all based around the same town, places, people and events ...... Get ready to visit Marietta's Christmas Stroll and the Ball in all the stories! I've been lucky enough to read several of them and thoroughly enjoyed them all. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this and the other books in the series to anyone looking for a lovely festive romance with great stories involving many common characters and events but each written by a different, talented author focusing on a different couple.I was gifted an ARC of this novel via NetGalley with no obligation or requirement to review it. This is my honest review after reading the ARC.

Soooo good!! I adore Rowan. She's a little bit ditzy, a whole lot of fun, and so incredibly sweet you can't help but want her to find her HEA. One teeny tiny mistake at work has her on the hot seat and now she has one chance to get it right. Meeting Prince Theodore was her luckiest day ever. Well wrapping him up in the dog leashes wasn't her finest move but it worked out! Now she has the chance to redeem herself at the newspaper and right an in depth article on the Prince. And if that means spending more time with Theo - bonus! Theo is in Marietta to meet his Grandparents for the very first time. He grew up hearing about the quaint little town and his grandparents but this is the first time he has made the trip here. Meeting the feisty Rowan Palotay wasn't originally in the plans but sometimes the best things are those that are unplanned. This story is wonderfully written and these characters will steal your hear. I highly recommend this one.

Robin Bielman takes readers back to Marietta for Christmas and introduces them to a prince and re-introduces them to a woman who are each at a crossroad in their lives. Prince Theodore Chenery of Montanique has arrived in Marietta, Montana for the first time. He’s there to visit with his grandparents, whom he’s never met and fulfill a dying wish of his mother. Rowan Palotay is trying to bide her time and make a comeback as a reporter after being disgraced by a story. The two meet on a crisp winter morning, while they’re both out walking. Awe. Such a perfect setup and so romantic. Until one of the dogs Rowan is walking pees on the prince. Yeah, Robin has managed to put laughter into a book that at times is a little heart tugging. Robin has once again proven to have the midas touch, with the ability to write a story that transports readers into the pages of the book. All the characters, main and secondary, are down to Earth, fun, and relatable. Once Upon a Royal Christmas combines humor, love, loss, family, and self discovery to make a magical fairy tale.**I received a copy of this book from the author and voluntarily reviewed.**

ARC received in exchange for an honest review :)*sighs happily* this was such a sweet book... with great writing style, fun characters and adorable story it's a perfect feel-good book :) full review on the day of my stop at the blog tour :)edited to add my full review :)I had the pleasure of reading an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review and let me tell you guys... :) it was lovely... I mean, all those adjectives work: lovely, cute, adorable, beautiful... just pick whatever works for you :) I had so much fur reading this standalone story, and since it was my second book from this author I'm starting to think that her writing style just works for me :) I will have to conduct an experiment and read a few more, just to be sure, but she has just such an entertaining way of creating stories... *sighs happily* and characters... and interactions between them... basically, she's great ;) so let me tell you a bit more about this particular story, so I can do my best to convince you to give it a try :)I'm gonna start with our main couple :) and before I say anything else, I have to admit that it's very hard for me to tell you which one of them I liked more... because usually when reading a story I tend to have stronger feelings to one part of the main couple... but this time they were both so much fun to read about :) Theo is visiting this small town when he meets Rowan with a bang... literally... she collides with him on the sidewalk ;) well... it's definitely one way to get someone's attention... ;) that little event starts everything between them :) what I love most about this story, is that it starts with them being friends :) yes, there's definitely attraction there, but they do actually talk to one another before anything else happens :) and those were some of my favourite scenes in the book actually :) the banter, all those fun interactions, the sassy responses... :) I love them in books and here there were plenty :) add to them a whole bunch of fun secondary characters and you have a perfectly lovely story :) don't get me wrong, this one is definitely much more than just cute... it's a perfect mix of hot and funny and emotional and just oh so wonderful... that I honestly don't want to tell you too much about the actual contents of the book :) mainly so you can be as pleasantly surprised as I was when you'll read it :)Even though we are still quite a few weeks away from christmas, this book really transported me to that beautiful and a bit magical feeling you get around that time... this story felt like cuddling under a blanket on a cold and snowy evening with a big cup of delicious hot chocolate, with whipped cream, because that is the only way to drink it ;) and just... feeling joyful :) the fantastic writing style of Robin Bielman left me with the biggest smile on my face once I finished this book :) I hope you will definitely give this story a try because trust me... it's a gift that you should get yourselves as soon as possible ;)XOXOAfor more book-ish stuff visit:my blog -> facebook page ->

2018-11-26 09:08 one was very good. I really liked the slow simmer of them falling for each other, although at times it stalled a bit too much for my tastes. I also liked how realistic they were about where the relationship was going. It was a very mature and logical path they tried to follow. Of course, best laid plans….It was very heartwarming to see how the prince struggled with his familial obligation while also wanting to follow his heart. And he didn’t play the martyr, he knew he was deserving of marrying someone he loved and didn’t want to settle for an arrangement that didn’t suit him if he could avoid it. It felt very genuine. He was a bit too goody goody for me but as far as a Christmas story goes, that’s really to be expected.Rowan was a delight. She was caring and passionate about her work. An artist will always hold a soft spot in my heart and she was a true artist. I enjoyed how she wasn’t looking for attention or fame with her art, but instead was looking to brighten someones day. I think I’ll read more by this author.

Royalty Christmas BlissI was completely thrilled to enjoy this most wonderful and romantic and wonderful Christmas fairytale. Written by author favourite of mine, Robin Bielman. Bringing to all her readers the true sense of a magical Christmas time. Which I just loved.Rowan Palotay could never forget her past. She still hopes her big mistake whist working for a TV station. She still had hope for her future. She was staying at her home, her favourite town Marietta. As a shock came when she saw the Prince Theodore Cheney, who was staying in town. Rescuing Rowan as she started to fall in the snow. And he was just gorgeous and then finding out that his own mum had sadly just died.I thoroughly enjoyed this most wonderful most elegant romance. This fabulous most enjoyable beautiful book. Which I just loved by Robin Beilman. Thank you I really loved it so!* I recommend this book to everyone!!

There was just something about Rowan that I loved. She was smart, outspoken, stubborn, feisty, sweet, honest, true, real, and she could make you laugh and laugh in turn. I just loved her. She was also kind, warm, and welcoming. Prince Theo wasn’t a bad guy. I just loved Rowan. He came out to play but was not sure if that play was want he should be doing. He had duty and obligations. Together the two provides a great show of entertainment and fun. You will laugh, cry, and go through some emotions along with the entire cast of characters here. It was holiday magic wrapped in a pretty picturesque location in the Montana country. This holiday season add to you reading time. This was a must read for the romance of the season. Love was most certainly in the Montana air this year. Robin has setup the perfect romance for a keep to the holiday season.

ONCE UPON A ROYAL CHRISTMAS is a perfect holiday romantic escape! What prince wouldn’t make a country girl a little restless? Those eyes, that mouth, the broad chest, were a royal combination unlike any other. He only held power over her if she let him, though. He brushed his teeth just like every other person. Put on his shoes one foot at a time. Prince Theo was just extraordinarily normal. And she could handle him and her story. Probably.Rowan Palotay, who was introduced in FALLING FOR HER BACHELOR, gets her very own happy ever after in ONCE UPON A ROYAL CHRISTMAS by Robin Bielman. Let me tell you. It was worth the wait because Robin hit ONCE UPON A ROYAL CHRISTMAS out of the ball-park! I laughed and cried. It actually kept me awake until four am on a day I had to make an early appearance at work. But… I honestly couldn’t sleep until I’d read every word. It was a teensy slow for me at the very beginning - and, in hindsight, that might have totally been on me - but, man, once the story grabbed me, it didn’t let go. Prince Theodore Chenery, our hero, has come to the small town of Marietta, Montana to meet his grandparents for the first time. His mother, who Theo adored, has recently passed away and Theo had promised her that he’d visit her hometown. Rowan and Theo first meet in a rollicking comedy of errors. Let’s just say that she made an unforgettable first impression. Theo is suitably impressed (!!!) and, much to Rowan’s surprise, insists that she be the reporter to write a story about him. This is the story of a girl meeting her Prince Charming only to find that he will always be out of reach.Rowan and Theo make such a great couple. Their personalities mesh perfectly and the chemistry between them is sizzling from the get-go. From the very beginning, they both know that their time together is limited. Theo is engaged to another and his responsibilities as heir to the throne preclude any long-term relationship… or do they?It was great catching up with Nick and Cassidy from FALLING FOR HER BACHELOR. However, the snake wars between Rowan and Nick are not something I want to participate in… ever. Following please find a few of my favorite quotes from ONCE UPON A ROYAL CHRISTMAS: “How bad is it?” she asked. “Not bad.” “You always wince when it’s not bad.” Hawk chuckled. Theo scowled at him. “It’s a little overly sensitive because I broke it six months ago.” “I guess grace doesn’t come with the royal package,” she teased. “My royal package is better than anyone else’s. Trust me.”--- “Phew. I thought I was going to have to slay a few dragons for you while I was here.” “I’m no damsel in distress, Your Highness. I can take care of myself.”--- “Want to sleep over?”Robin Bielman is one of my very favorite authors. I know that I can count on her books to have the most unanticipated and scrumptious endings that are guaranteed to leave the reader with a happy heart. ONCE UPON A ROYAL CHRISTMAS is a perfect holiday romantic escape. I sure hope Robin returns to this idyllic little town with another wonderful lighthearted story soon. If you enjoy holiday romances with plenty of snow and snuggling, I highly recommend that you pick up ONCE UPON A ROYAL CHRISTMAS soon!My full review is posted at Reading Between The Wines Book Club. • Lenore Kosinski
2018-12-12 07:15 stars -- I received a free copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion.OMG, this book is already in the running for favourite Christmas read this year, and I've only just begun! But it was just...I don't know...just Lenore perfect, you know? Like there are certain things that just make for a perfect Lenore read, and this one hit soooooo many of them. I have a weakness for royalty books. I don't read them much, but I do enjoy them (and that probably comes from all my Harlequin reading in the past). But this one turned out to be less about the Royalty aspect, and more about...I don't know, just a freaking fabulous love story with lots of romantic tension, and laughs, and goofy grins, and not a lot of moments where I wanted to bang my head. It had the kind of climax and tension where I got what was happening, even if I already knew that they were thinking about things all wrong. But don't worry, they got there.I wondered how the whole reporter thing was going to play out, but it didn't really play that big a factor. And her mistake didn't either. It was kind of glossed over. But that was ok, b/c by that point I was so sucked in to the sweetness of their romance, that I didn't even care. Both of these characters on their own were my kind of characters. Rowan was really rather hilarious. I loved that she could be kind of bold, goofy, a wee bit insecure, but stubborn and still really kind and sweet too. Sassy and sweet, I love that combination. And Theo. Oh Theo. I want Theo for myself. He was...AHHH!!! So sweet, and sexy, and a bit sassy in his own right. I just adored him to pieces, and I'm not even going to be able to do justice to why....But the winner for me was them together, and how their romance progressed. For what was a pretty short novel (or a long novella, depending on how you look at it), I really felt like we got a fabulous romance out of it. I really believed the progression from lust and infatuation to friendship to more. I loved watching them get to know each other, asking questions and really developing that base of connection. And OMG the tension. I can't even tell you. So many butterflies in this book for me. And the steamy scenes fulfilled on the tension promise. And all that set in a great holiday atmosphere, with lots of great family and secondary characters. It made me want to read more Marietta stories, and definitely more stories from this author. And it obviously got me feeling the magic of the season. So yeah, success. Gonna be hard to top.

3.5 / 5 FangsAfter reading this book, I just want to put up Christmas decorations and drink hot chocolate!Once Upon a Royal Christmaswas the perfect book to put me in the Christmas spirit! There were charming elements of the holiday that made a really romantic setting for the characters in this book. The main female character, Rowan, seemed a bit childish at first. However, she turned out to be a kind-hearted and caring woman. I was happy to see her have a turn around in her attitude! I liked that she was snarky, but never overly snarky. A lot of her snarky comment made me laugh out loud! I thought her personality was the perfect balance to Theo. Theo was so swoon worthy and romantic. I liked that he never acted overly prince-like. Theo just seemed like a normal man with real thoughts and emotions. The chemistry between Rowan and Theo was palpable! I thought they had a great connection, and their banter was hilarious. I thought their romance was pretty well paced considering it was the focus of this story. I found their romance to be very cute, even though their initial meeting felt a little forced. This book didn't really delve into in-depth emotions, but I was okay with that because I wanted a light-hearted romance. I felt like I was reading a fun and adorable Hallmark Channel holiday romance movie. The plot of this book seemed to move quickly at times and then stall at other times. I definitely still enjoyed it as a whole, but I did feel like there were some slower moments in this book. I wouldn't say this is the most memorable romance book I have ever read, but it put a smile on my face!Overall, this was a cute romance story that is perfect for anyone looking for a quick and fun read. The combination of Christmas, romance, humor, and Cinderella-esque ball created a charming story. I would love to see this made into a Hallmark movie! I am looking forward to reading more from this author in the future. 3.5 / 5 Fangs*This ebook was given to me in exchange for an honest review. *MrsLeif's Two Fangs About ItFacebookTwitter

3.5 out of 5 starsPrince Theodore is intrigued by Rowan from the first moment he meets her. She is different from any other woman that he's met. Rowan isn't afraid to say what's on her mind, and is a complete goofball at times. Theo is very sweet and polite and doesn't act entitled at all. He is in Marietta to spend time with his grandparents and fulfill his mother's last wish. These two felt really drawn to each other and you could feel the sexual tension, but they take their time to really get to know each other and try to fight it. Theo's dad wants him to announce his engagement to another girl soon, so they both "know" nothing can happen between them. I would have liked to learn more about what exactly happened with Rowan and the paper to cause her to be on the boss's radar and be downgraded to writing dog articles instead of real newsworthy articles. It was mentioned and maybe very briefly touched on but I wanted to know a little bit more about that. I also didn't understand the estrangement between Theo's mother and her parents. I understand that she had to move with her husband but not why she never saw her parents again. This story included some Christmas/snow fun too. I thought it was a nice fluffy sort of read, perfect to get you in the mood for the holidays. I get the feeling that this one may have been a spin off from one of the author's series romances, because we meet another couple that is close with Rowan (Her brother and her best friend). I didn't feel as if I was missing anything from this story though but may have to go back and find the one about Rowan's brother and best friend Cassidy.** I received an ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. **

I actually received my first Christmas review copies in the end of JUNE … and I have to be honest I refused reading them until beginning of November. So I had a little “early Christmas” last weekend to get myself into the mood. The weather outside was bad with freezing rain and wind so I simply left the curtains drawn to shut out the outside – turned on a few candles and got myself some cake and hot chocolate before I started with : - Twelve Days of Christmas of Debbie Macomber- Which was followed by Once Upon a Royal Christmas by Robin BielmanMy thoughts on “once upon a royal Christmas” quiet simple – I think when reading a X-mas novel you have to be more generous than usual when it comes to stuff like “love at first sight” or “miracle” or even “Insta-love” (and you know my general thoughts on that subject). So I am not going to question any of these things here and just go with the feeling of what I expect of a X-mas novel and I believe this book has a lot to offer on that subject. Theo and Rowan are adorable and reading this book made me feel all warm and cozy holed up here in my little pretended pre-X-mas. I can really recommend this book for the X-mas holidays as a story on the shorter side but really worth reading when you are looking for the right feeling. ═══ PLEASE SUBSCRIBE / LIKE / FOLLOW US ════FB Page : : : :

One of my tropes that I love when it comes to books is that I am a sucker for Royalty. I love my stories which include members of a Royal family. So when I read that there was a new Christmas book coming out called Once Upon a Royal Christmas, I had to read it. I am glad I did as it was a sweet Christmas romance. In this book we meet Rowan who is out dog-walking as she tries to pick up odd jobs now that her job as a big-time journalist fell through after a nasty media incident, she is lucky she got to keep a small animal column. Prince Theodore Chenery is on holiday in Marietta, the hometown of his mother who has recently passed away. Theo decided that it was time to reconnect with his grandparents and discover all about the small town his mother came from this Christmas. He figured he better enjoy it while he can do as when he returns home, Theo is expected to marry his best friend Elizabeth in an arranged royal marriage. The thing is that neither of them truly love one another and it seems that the Gods above knew this and had decided that it is in his mother's hometown that he may find true love this Christmas season. Overall, Once Upon A Royal Christmas was a quick read and one of those books to get you not only in the Christmas spirit but also to put a little hop in your step with the happiness and romance in the air.

I love holiday romances and I love reading stories about royalty and commoners falling in love, so Robin Bielman's Once Upon a Royal Christmas was a good fit for me. Set in the small town of Marietta, Once Upon a Royal Christmas tells the story of how Rowan and Prince Theo meet and fall in love. It's got the makings a of perfect holiday romance--the hunk of a hero who just happens to be a royal, the feisty heroine who is a little clumsy but still a charmer. It's a smartly written romance with great banter that reminded me of the romantic comedies of the past starring Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy or even Jimmy Steward and Donna Reed. I like how Bielman gives the characters a chance to get to know one another as their attraction grows. It makes for a very nice build up to their passion. My only quibble is that, since this was my first time reading a Robin Bielman novel, I felt like I needed to know a little more about what exactly Rowan did that disgraced her at the local newspaper. I didn't really understand it since we didn't get enough info to make it feel plausible. However, I loved how she described the town of Marietta, so I think I'll be reading a few more Marietta stories before the year is out. A fun holiday read! Note: I received a free copy of this book from the publisher, but was not required to write a review or influenced in terms of my review.

**My thanks to NetGalley and Tule Publishing, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**Another brilliant book to help get you into the holiday spirit.Rowan is one of those people that just like to help everyone around her and is not that great with thanks. However her first meeting with Prince Theodore does not go as she had hoped. In fact her colleague is getting to write an article on him that should have been hers.Prince Theo is a down to earth kinda guy and has gone to his mothers home town after her death for a month to get to know his maternal grandparents and never acts like a prince. He always seems like one of the people. Its a really sweet story and you can't help but get swept up in the story and fall for the two characters.Although it is part of a series it can certainly be read as a stand alone book."I really enjoyed reading this book.

I absolutely love this wonderful story about Rowan, an under-appreciated journalist/dog-walker who collides, on the sidewalk with Theo, a really nice guy, who happens to be a prince! Rowan is fighting her attraction to Theo because they are from two different worlds and Theo has royal duties back in his country. Will a Christmas miracle bring these two together?

AdorableA sweet Christmas romance. Prince Theo is the perfect guy who falls for the feisty Rowan. It is a beautifully told story. Theo is gracious, caring, loyal and charismatic. Rowan has a tough exterior with a heart of gold. A highly recommended novel. I love all of Robin's stories.

Confession time, people who know me will know I’m not a fan of Christmas, never have been. But…..weirdly enough I horde Christmas themed books like a squirrel does nuts. I can’t get enough of them. It’s my guilty pleasure. That said, the awesome Robin Bielman has delivered not only the latest addition to my stash, but what I can honestly say has become my all-time favourite with Once Upon a Royall Christmas. I absolutely freaking loved this book. I plan many, many re-reads before I retire it till next year. Who am I kidding, there’s Christmas in July right? Guess who will be making an appearance, LOL.I couldn’t get enough of this story. It was everything you could want in a sweet Christmas story. I totally fell head over heels for Rowan and Theo, sorry His Royal Hotness Prince Theo ;) They were so stinking cute together it hurt. From their interesting first meeting to their eventual HEA I was hooked. If you’ve read Falling for Her Bachelor, then you would have already met Rowan. She’s Nick’s sister and I was beyond excited when I heard she was getting a story. There was just something about her that caught my attention and I needed to see her get her happy ending and boy did she in Theo.OMG Theo! How I loved him. He has to be one of the ultimate book boyfriend. He’s almost indescribably perfect. Just hand over your heart to him when he appears and be done with. He’s that good.I giggled, awwwed, swooned and okay, okay at one point teared up on the damn bus reading this book and loved every second of it. This book is just plain awesome. Do not and I mean it, miss this holiday book or Santa will be putting a piece of coal in your stocking this year.Robin Bielman is a go to author for me. I always pick up her books knowing I’m in for a great read and this book once again proves why I say this. She’s managed to combine my love if her books with my secret addiction and made perfection of it. Thank you Robin!!!!

GRACIAS GOODREADS.
