Thanks to Kensington books (Lyrical Shine) via NetGalley for a copy of this book!Danielle wasn't very nice when she was younger. However, Karma baby (gotta love it)! She now has a child and she's back in town running from her abusive husband. Of course, he doesn't want her free from him. She's on trial for a murder she didn't commit.Simon, her hero, is offering her an escape of love and security. But, she has secrets! How's that going to play out? Danielle was a horrid person, but I did feel sorry for her. I enjoyed this book!!

This is a quick read (it's also short) and it's well written, Danielle is not the most appealing character I've read but Shirley did a good job with making you root for her when she needs it. THanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Try this one if you'd like a story of love and redemption.
