British Art Since 1900 Reviews
This book is a survey of almost a hundred years of art - it moves very quickly, and takes no prisoners. Blink, and you've missed a decade. That said, it's a great introduction to names and ideas in 20th Century British art, a field that is grossly under-examined. This book is best for someone who knows a bit about art, and about art history, but is accessible for readers at any level of expertise.
Excellent introduction, written sympathetically. Good all-round overview for a history of art student.
