3.5 starsBathtub book! Perfect for a nice soak in the tub and just short enough to read before the water gets cold. A book to clear the cobwebs in your brain and leave you content and happy and ready to tackle a longer book filled with angst or whatever else you are into.Suspend disbelief for the length of the book because the reasons for Jensen and Sloane's 10 year separation are a little ridiculous, but you can chalk it up to youth. Also, Sloane has a debilitating injury that doesn't allow him to smoke-jump anymore, but it never bothers him during the sex. Let's chalk that up to the sex-induced endorphin's. Forget all of that and immerse your self in real firefighter action and sexy times with a glorious HEA that includes a fluffy addition to their new family. If you like quick, hot reads with real action (as opposed to firefighter professions in M/M romances in name only) and can suspend disbelief for an hour or so, you will enjoy this tale of sexy firefighters who fall in love.Recommended.The ARe Fearless series includes 3 M/M romances and 1 M/M/F romance. This review is also posted at Gay Book ReviewsGalley copy of Out Of the Frying Pan provided by OmniLit / All Romance eBooks, LLC in exchange of an honest review.

‘Out of the Frying Pan’ is full of old grudges, second chances, hot firemen, and emotions so volatile they might explode any second and cause some real damage. Jenson and Sloane have history, and since their affair did not end well, they are still upset many years later. Both of them think they are right, neither of them is about to give an inch, and yet they are forced to face each other - and the truth – because work has thrown them together with nowhere to run to. The heat between them sizzles right back into existence the minute they lay eyes on each other, but neither of them is willing to admit it.Jenson is captain of a small fire station in Colorado and he loves his job. He is not exactly a fan of the occasional training sessions he and his men have to go through, but it is part of the job and helps them stay on top of new developments and keeps their skills sharp. When he sees Sloane’s name on the list of the upcoming sessions, he is shocked, angry, and determined to make life hell for Sloane. Between the attraction that flares right back up the second they lay eyes on each other and the real anger Jenson still feels for what he sees as Sloane’s betrayal, the intensity ratchets up faster than I was able to blink.Sloane knows he is innocent, he never did what Jenson accused him of, but there is no way he can prove it. He did not expect ever to see Jenson again, so having to face him when the man walks into his training session is a shock. Sloane never managed to forget Jenson, and despite the betrayal he felt when Jenson accused him of tampering with equipment, he is grateful for another chance. But he knows it won’t be easy, so he mentally prepares himself for a fierce battle. If you like hot firemen and hotter tempers, if you enjoy watching two men who clearly love each other fight their way to seeing the truth, and if you’re looking for an action-packed read with emotions that run high from page one, then you will probably like this novella.NOTE: This book was provided by OmniLit / All Romance eBooks for the purpose of a review on Rainbow Book Reviews.

so many thoughts. Explosive…Sweet…Fun….Sexy….this in not only be the book but also the Jensen and Sloane. Jensen worked hard to get where he was and had one person he loved but lost due to perceived betrayal. Sloane worked hard to get rid of the stigma and become the best at what he was. When the end up at the same work event it becomes explosive. Jensen is blinded with anger and Sloane is trying to get Jensen to listen. Sloane is more laid back than Jensen and that helps with them actually learning about each other again. At one point Jensen and Sloane work the issues out to where Sloane risks his career to stand up to Jensen. Finally they begin to listen and from here on we get a rebuilding of trust and love. We get sexy nights, sweet guys that are kind and loyal and fun days where they are open and sweet. They slowly learn about each other in and out of bed and learn to trust. Once the trust comes they allow love in their hearts. Watching them is like a wimbledon match never knowing where the ball will land and if it will be a brilliant move or a horrible shot that leaves them beaten. In the end the bad shots to each other leads to brilliance and a win for them for they begin again and win it all in this explosive and sexy book of learning to forgive, trust, let go and love again.

Firefighter, smoke jumper, mm romance, with sex, sex, and more sex. That ten years of feeling like wrong has been done get erased pretty quickly. I guess that was a must since this was a very quick read. Hot firefighter. Hot male on male action. Quickie read. **This ARC was provided via Bewitching Book Tours in exchange for an honest review.**

Too many rainbows and unicorns for me. As I find most short stories or novellas, they aren't really long enough to be gripping or compelling and so they usually fall short for me. But I am NOT a fan of any story that gives me too many cavities while reading. This isn't reality for me. Life has struggles and we should feel the characters do just that as they travel their journey. Too simplistic.

Interesting idea and I was excited to see how it would play out but basically it was ten years apart just settled with in a few paragraphs and some sex, more sex, I'm sorry and more sex. Wasn't bad but wasn't all that memorable either.

This was a good book, it's not a long book so you can read in just a few hr. This was a nice story of old flames coming back together years latter and seeing what will happen. Let the sparks and fits fly and see were they land.

Short, fun and sexy, with an interesting setting that felt pretty well researched.
