Wow! I want a man to love and cherish me like Liam does, inside and outside the bedroom. This a a true second chance love story. Teegan and Liam fall in love at age 18; set up my James Teegan’s brother and best friend to Liam, from the moment of their first kiss, they knew each other was special. Liam is a wonderful boyfriend, and Teegan is a strong independent woman surprising Liam everyday. He cherishes Teegan and treats her like a queen. Then James ex-girlfriend comes along and spoiled it for everyone. Now 10 years later, abused and broken Teegan returns to her hometown and family to heal. Then she sees Liam again and they are not going to let each other go, but now it’s Teegan’s abusive ex-boyfriend who has to spoil the relationship this time around. Reading this sweet romance story I realize it has more to show than love and lust, and that is strength. Teegan is a funny strong woman, throughout the whole book, even in times of heartache. I would love to have her willpower to fuel through the days. She is not the most popular girl, but the girl that is liked by everyone. Liam is swoon worthy, and I wish I could close my eyes and have him appear in my room. He never got over Teegan and now that she is back he is going to prove it. He looks at her the same way as when they were 18, like she is the only woman out there for him. It makes you jealous!! The story is told in alternating POV between multiple characters and the beginning has a past and present to explain the relationships. This is a sweet story and I wish all families had the love and communication that James and his family, Teegan and Liam have throughout the story. This a a great 5 star read, and don't worry, there is plenty of heat between Liam and Teegan, to make you glad they found each other again. Like Teegan says, 10 years and more experience to bring to the bedroom!!!!! ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review. Reviewed by Sabrina from Alpha Book Club

I always enjoy finding “a new to me” Indie Author and Jennifer Labelle did not disappoint. ALWAYS was well written and definitely a New Adult, Second Chance Love Story. What is it about? Well, Teegan Hallowell fell in love with her brother James friend Liam Bates when they were both very young. They fell in love almost instantly with their first kiss, and thought they would be together for always & ever. A spiteful and evil ex-girlfriend has different ideas and manages to tear them apart. It is ten years later, when Teegan returns to her hometown to stay with her brother and sister-in-law Susan. She is a much different person then when she fled town heartbroken. This time she is fleeing an abusive relationship, and is more broken and convinced that she will never find another love like she had with Liam.It seems Liam was never really over Teegan, and when he finds out she is home once more, he decides to make it his mission to never have her leave again. Seems his ex left town, but leaving him behind with his now motherless, adorable son to raise alone. Their reunion is beautiful with lots of romance, but Oliver who is Teegan’s ex live-in boyfriend from Hell, has plans to take her back even if she is dead set against that ever happening. Liam has an ex of his own that wants to cause trouble. There are plenty of twist and turns and doubt about there ever being a Happy Ever After.I do love the romance and the love scenes between Liam and Teegan and they are beautifully written: “This is no dream, Sunshine. It's what love is supposed to be like, and I'm not going anywhere but right where I am, with you ALWAYS.”

Let me just say that from page one, I loved this book!Even though Teegan tried to outrun her problems and as they always do, they didn't stay away for long, the relationships in this book are real. James and Teegan have the ultimate brother/sister relationship and I love the fact that they don't try to be anything but. However the best part of the book for me was one of the minor characters. Liam's son, LJ. His compassion, honesty and some of the things he says makes him wise beyond his years, but Jennifer has done such a great job writing that even though he seems older than he is, it's real in the way she has written it.I couldn't put it down and read into the early hours of the morning. A great feel good, slightly emotional, summer beach read!

This was a pretty easy going second chance summer romance. Of course it has just the right amount of drama to keep it interesting. And Liam, good God I love the man! Fantastic read and I look forward to reading more from this talented author.

Always by Jennifer Labelle was a solid read. I enjoyed the story a lot; it was exciting and kept me wanting more. At the same time, sometimes I felt very disconnected from the characters and a lot of chapters felt rushed to me. I think in some areas the story would have benefited from slowing down a bit. I think that would have fixed the parts where I felt disconnected from the characters. Also, in a lot of chapters the dialogue was very straightforward, which often pulled me from the story a bit. I just couldn't believe the characters would actually talk to each other that way, but at the same time people are all different so maybe that is just how they are. Ultimately, though, I think the story was very good and I enjoyed in immensely. Even with the few things I didn't care too much for, I still had time to fall in love with the characters, especially LJ for some reason. I really liked him a lot. The love story was there, though, and because of that I fell right into it. And as I said, this was definitely a page turner I didn't want to put down. But, I would give it 3.5 stars and rate it as a good read that I would definitely recommend.

Teegan and Liam's story was a good concept. The back and forth between past and present was jarring at times. There were good secondary characters but also what felt like randomly thrown in stories.

It wasn't a bad book, but things happened too fast too soon...
