LOVED this cute little book. Perfect for explaining family trees, practicing Spanish reading and perfect for family bonding and lessons. I recommend this to EVERY Spanish | Hispanic children's library. Me encantó este libro lindo. Perfecto para explicar los árboles genealógicos , la práctica de la lectura y mas perfecto para la unión familiar. Recomiendo este libro para cada biblioteca de niños .

This is such a sweet and beautifully written book for kids from pre-school to elementary age. It starts when Eva wonders "Where do families come from? Do they grow on trees?" because her teacher has assigned Eva and her classmates to make their family tree. Eva poses this question to her Grandma and her Grandma explains Eva's family tree to her. The bilingual English/Spanish version is wonderful for any one teaching their kids Spanish or raising them bilingual. The question at the end of the book "What does your family tree look like?" and the full page available to draw your own family tree is a wonderful way to personalize the story. The illustrations are colorful and bring this lovely story to life. I highly recommend this book for all families with young children! It's a wonderful way to explain and talk about what your own family tree looks like!!
