My definition of a romance book includes a HEA (happy ever after). This book does NOT have a HEA, therefore, it's not a romance book.Even if there had been a HEA, I still would have graded this book low, because I didn't like it. I couldn't stand the hero. The book starts with him stabbing someone 50 times in the face to be accepted by his grandfather and the MC. Redeemable? I kinda hoped, but no. He is the MC's assassin. He kills a lot of people. He is not a good person. Felt like we don't get to know the heroine. TOTAL Insta-Love. Like - ridiculous insta-love. Spoilers if you want them - but they are big spoilers so please read at your own risk.(view spoiler)[The heroine gets brain cancer. I feel this is important to note because it's graphic and not everyone may want to read about a heroine dying - for pages and pages with this truly horrible disease. The hero dies too.Yeah. 4.5 StarsI was the predator and she was the prey. I was the shark and she was the bait. I was the demon-possessed monster and she was the innocent, naive angel.Have you ever read a book that touched you on such a visceral level you almost felt like you were living it along with the characters. Where you felt every emotion, every painful revelation, every bruise and emotional scar? A book that gutted you and at the same time you can't stop thinking about? A book that you just know will stay with you for a long while yet? Sinner's Creed was that book to me.Sinner's Creed is unlike any other MC romance I've read in a long time, if ever. And that's saying a lot considering just how many books I've read in this genre. It's a gritty, unapologetic and violent. It's authentic and emotion and real. It's absolutely fucking gut wrenching. Kim Jones brought her A-game with this one and you can feel it on every page. I have a feeling this will be the book I compare all other MC books to. Is it a romance? At it's core, yes. But it's so much more than that....What sets it apart is it's told entirely in Dirk's POV. The readers will get a front row seat into the mind of a truly broken man...and learn to love him for it.This is a 1 percent MC. These are men who are trained to hurt, trained to endure hurt, and trained to kill. But only a few can compete with the best. And I'm the best. I'm the best at hurting, enduring, and killing. I'm the man they fear because I have nothing to lose, and they know that.Dirk is a nomad National for Sinner's Creed MC. He's the shadow that you don't see coming, and only see right before your final breath. He's a third generation, and the MC life is all he knows. He grew up with violence and blood. The club is his life and his salvation. He rides for it, he kills for it, and he knows that eventually he'll die for it. But then a blonde beauty rocks his world to it's very core.Every man has a purpose. I always thought mine was with the MC. Now I know the real purpose of my existence. To be anything Saylor Samson wants me to be.Their connection is instantaneous, and yet it also worked for me when normally I'd struggle with something that quick. But being inside Dirk's head really helped. Have you ever tried to show love to a dog that's been abused his whole life and trained only to kill? They don't know what to do with that affection. They equal parts fear it and yearn for it. That's exactly what happened with Dirk. This is a man that hasn't known an ounce of kindness or affection is entire life, yet Saylor understands him in a way no other ever has. She accepts him for everything he is and falls for him anyway. But can a man that's the death dealer for an MC hold on to something so beautiful and fragile?Who did I want more? Her of the club? I couldn't live a life where they both existed. It wasn't possible.Saylor was a difficult character for me to truly grasp at first. Her behavior doesn't quite make sense at first. She comes across as almost too accepting of Dirk, considering they barely know each other when they get together. But let me tell you, there's a very good reason for it and once you find it out, all those puzzle pieces fit together. You'll never have to worry about me feeling like this for anybody else, because there will never be anybody else. If what I feel for you is love, then you are what love is. And it doesn't exist if you don't.Dirk and Saylor's relationship may have started off from 60 right away, but there was always something so fateful about it. I was totally buying what the author was selling and man oh man but she sold their love to me. I felt it to my very core. It could have been cheesy or OTT, but it never was. It was beautiful, and real, and authentic. I was eating it up with a spoon and loving every second of it.I feel her love piercing my heart back together. I feel her body that moves in sexy sways in my arms. And I feel her soul. A soul that God didn't need to shine any mercy on. Because this one, this one was made perfect. But don't think this is a lovely romance, because it's not. Kim Jones truly throws the reader into the underbelly of the MC life and spares no detail. It's violent, gritty, and unapologetic. It felt authentic and real as hell. Now for my sensitive soul reader friends, please keep in mind that this story has a (view spoiler)[non-traditional HEA (hide spoiler)]. Now as a reader, I strongly avoid those because man but they gut me. Yet the way everything concludes here just fit. It stayed true to the characters and their story and I couldn't imagine it any other way. I can tell you that I spent the entire last 30% of this book a hysterical and blubbering mess. I could barely read the pages though the constant stream of tears. But god it made me feel. It was such an authentic ending to such an incredible story that I loved it all the more for that. I recommend this book to any lovers of MC romance. Take a chance on this book, and I think you'll fall for Dirk and Saylor just as hard as I did. I can't wait to see what else this author has in store, because if this book is anything to go by, I already know I'll be in for one hell of a ride. Pun most definitely intended. You're late.""I'm Dirk.""I'm Saylor.""I know."ARC courtesy of publisher in exchange for an honest reviewGraphic is stock purchased and created by me for DGR blog. Kim Jones polished the chrome, oiled the leathers and donned on her favorite pair of shit kickers, in this highly explosive, action filled MC novel! If you're one of those people who wants hearts and flowers and happily ever afters, then go find a fairy tale. Sinner's Creed is made of the rough stuff, told from a badass male biker’s POV. No this author doesn’t pull any punches, not with the violence, bullets flying or the devastating heartbreak. I swear I cried like pansy ass baby from the halfway mark till the finish. This talented author deserves ten stars but regrettably I’m only able to give five, now onto the review! Dirk knows what he’s not. He’s not the guy you want to bring home to meet pops or have working at some bank, idly twiddling his thumbs “saying how may I help you”. No this man is the devil to the core, when you see him your time is up. Somewhere along the way you’ve pissed off the wrong person, in doing so you’ve dug your own grave. This club enforcer is the man nationals sends to remove a problem, he’s the fixer, the executioner. Saylor Samson is like the wind, appearing unexpectedly but no less leaving her mark. But is there room in hell for the devil to have his own? Can Dirk keep face with his club and his enemies at bay? How far does one man have to journey to give the girl of his dreams the ride of her life? After reading this, the song that played on repeat in my head was Eric Clapton’s Tears in Heaven. Again a million times over to the author, thanks for the amazing read. I look forward to the next ride in the series!

When Bella Jewel meets Kim Holden you get Sinner's Creed.I've never read Kim Jones books before and this one I won in a giveaway. I thought I would have your "typical" biker book but the story was everything but.You have the one percenter, the nomad, the chapters and the dirty work but it was so much more. On one hand, it was harsh with punishment and retribution but on the other hand, it was beautiful and poetic and sad, so sad. Dirk was brutal, killed and tortured without remorse but he was also protective, caring and tender. The love story was intense as it was lived to the fullest but it was also tragic, like a biker Romeo and Juliet. I'm glad I won this book as now I've discovered a new author I'll be happy to follow.

Edited to add a spoiler for those who are freaking out about the ending...If I could stop crying it would make writing this review so much easier. Sinner's Creed is an interesting read. It's not your typical romance. It's not your typical happily ever after. For some people they're going to love that. For others it might not work. Going in I knew what was coming with the storyline (I'd asked for spoilers ahead of time) and even going into this one knowing everything I knew it was still a read that dang near gutted me and had me bawling by the end. It's gritty, raw, sweet, sexy, heartbreaking, inspiring... it's a read that will grip your heart tightly and will leave you both devastated and smiling over the love two broken and lonely people were able to create. It's told from the hero's POV. He's not really a good guy. He's done horrible things in his life and continues to do them but the one good thing has been always being there at just the right time for a stranger who's path keeps crossing his. Someone who is light to his darkness and needs him as much as he needs her. I actually really liked both the hero and heroine. They're so very different but fit each other perfectly. The connection between them was powerful and strong right from the start and they jump in feet first. But somehow it worked. The feeling of Fate or divine intervention surround them quite often. It's a hard path they're sent down. One that showed their strength and love and brought out both the good and sometimes bad in them as they dealt with it.My only complaint was writing that felt somewhat stilted now and again because of its lack of contractions. (It is Monday vs It's Monday) Nothing technically wrong with it but it just felt awkward sometimes. A minor complaint overall, though.Overall Sinner's Creed is a different sort of romance. Jones took a big risk with this one but I think it paid off. The romance and love between these two is overwhelming and beautiful even if it's heartbreaking. Hang in there though. There's a happy ending...of sorts. It just might not be what you expect. And spoiler about the ending (view spoiler)[It's not a traditional one and yes the hero and heroine both die in the end but there's a scene included in the afterlife where they meet back up, have a moment that's oh so them and are happy/at peace, together, and getting their eternity with each other. It's not on earth, obviously, but it's still a HEA as far as they're concerned. I thought so too. (hide spoiler)]

Just, WOW. My first Kim Jones book and it absolutely BLEW ME AWAY! Sinners Creed excited me, stunned me, shocked me and yes, even made me cry. Which is not an easy feat. Even if you've read a lot of MC books, this book will surprise you and thrill you and I can't recommend it highly enough. This is an unwavering, no-holds-barred look into club life, with all of the violence, sex and raw emotion you can imagine. Brotherhood comes before all else, and these men will sacrifice everything for their brothers. Dirk is no exception: he has become a notorious enforcer, a nomad, who travels wherever Club business takes him, always alone, always doing what needs to be done, no matter what the price.Saylor comes into his life quite by accident, and gradually, slowly, they develop a deep and loving bond. Dirk has lived a sad, brutal life, and Saylor finally is something good in his life. Saylor is running from something, and Dirk agrees to take her on his travels across the country. It is best if you go into this book without knowing too much detail about the plot. I knew nothing about this book when I started reading it. It turns out that Saylor loves to ride, and really, she is the only joyful part of Dirk's violent existence. This book took a very surprising turn which was perfect for these two characters. Some will love it, some will not, but take a chance on Sinner's Creed and go on the Dirk and Saylor's journey with them. This book was magical, gritty, raw and beautiful all at once.Read an excerpt at www.thebookbellas.com(ARC provided by the publisher in return for an honest review.)

4 "You're late." StarsSinner's Creed is a distinctly different kind of MC story in terms of plot yet still possesses all the crucial elements and tones of a good MC book. I absolutely, without question loved this story. Structurally and plot wise it's amazing. The characterizations of both hero and heroine are perfect. I believe in them both and adore them both as I was rooting for them the entire story. The effect of the writing leaves you with a haunting, melancholy feeling as the two characters navigate what's happening their world so peacefully. Their present life is like a streak of sunshine on an inevitably gloomy day. My rating is a four rather than a five because too often I was being told with many details what was going on instead of being shown. Some of the less important details of the story became the forefront in my readers mind rather than it be left up to my imagination. More subtly in the details would have left this story more powerful, in my opinion. I will not diminish the beauty and impact of the story though. It's a great read, an interesting read, and an evocative read. It'll make you laugh, and swoon, and wonder, and cry. Sinner's Creed is a unique take on life within an MC and outside of it. It's growth and maturation, letting go and holding on. It's realizing through someone else the beauty of what's been there for years without you ever really knowing.

Review for Sinner’s Creed by Kim Jones.I’m a little lost right now. I should wait to write this review until I have collected my thoughts. Until my edges aren’t quite so frayed. Until the emotions aren’t still washing through me in waves of anger, happiness, grief, love … hope. I can’t wait, I won’t. This might be less of a review and more a purging of the riotous feelings that are beating at me, but it’ll be honest and that’s really the point, isn’t it? Kim Jones. I hadn’t read a single word of hers prior to Clubwhore about ten days ago, she’s a new-to-me author. I’ll regretfully admit that I expected the typical MC book — bad boys doing bad things, loose women doing loose things, combative relationships that border more on toxic than romantic — I have never been so happy to be wrong about a book/author in the entire time I’ve been reading. She’s an author who takes the harshness of the MC lifestyle and breathes life into it. Her characters crawl under your skin and make themselves at home. I’ll proudly carry around pieces of Saylor and Dirk and the journey that brought them to the only end there ever could be.A man of power.A leader.A ruthless enforcer.A fucking legend. Those words describe Dirk, Nomad National for Sinner’s Creed MC and yet they tell you nothing at all about who he is. Dirk lives in darkness. He’s the thing you fear about the dark and if he wants you to fear, you’ll fear until your dying breath. There are moments in the book where I hated him so hard for who and what he was, but I loved him harder. Saylor is both his weakness and his strength. She didn’t have a place in his world, but she fit perfectly.Your good outweighs my evil and your love overpowers my hate.Saylor Samson is like a buoy in the darkest waters of the ocean. She brings hope and relief to the drowning. She’s got a guardian angel — Dirk shows up exactly when she needs him and he doesn’t even realize it. Years pass, brief moments in time where they cross paths never actually meeting. I love how there is this deep connection without them knowing each other. The way she pulls strength from his presence and he soaks in her light. The relationship starts tentatively. Fragile as the last thread holding it together. I absolutely loved watching them grow together. If ever there were a set of characters that could make a non-believer believe in soulmates — Dirk and Saylor are it. Bumps and bruises along the way, but not without the healing power of hope waiting in the wings. Beautiful. Love, desire, want, need…It’s a soul-shattering, heart-wrenching, burning passion that I can’t stand to experience anymore. You need to read this book. Have to read this book. It has every element that MC lovers crave and all the heart that romance lovers need. It almost seems blasphemous to call it erotic, but those scenes are there and are perfection. There isn’t a single moment of this book that was disappointing. Kim Jones throws you on the back of Dirk’s bike and he rides you hard to the end. From start to finish you’ll be lost to the words on the pages, an absolute must read. Five Plus Stars and Five Plus Drenched Panties. “You’re late.”“I’m Dirk.”“I’m Saylor.”“I know.”ARC Review by Miranda at Mommy’s a Book Whore.

I fully admit that I went into this book with pre-conceived notions. I have never read a Kim Jones book before but I am no stranger to talks of her talent. I had heard great things about her Saving Dallas series and even bought a copy which I’m sure is sitting somewhere in the black hole that is my kindle. When I saw that she was coming out with a new MC series I figured this was the perfect time to start on my Kim Jones journey. When I later learned that she actually lives an MC life as an old lady it sealed the deal. If anyone would know how to make this series realistic it has to be someone who lives it right? So my journey began on a random weekday and I started to read. Sinner's Creed started off really well, albeit in typical MC fashion. I was however instantly pulled in. The story had a great, almost tangible feel to it that I can only equate to Kim's descriptive writing.Dirk Dixon is a Sinner's Creed nomad, a traveling hit man for the organization. He kills people, lots of them without remorse. He is nobody’s hero and never pretends to be. As you would expect from this type of book he also has a scarred background, and lives a gritty yet lonely life. All of the things I love about my MC men. Then we meet Saylor Samson. Young, beautiful, innocent and with an unknown past that only adds to her intrigue. Again, I loved it. I loved her character, I loved her faith and I loved the style with which Kim Jones wrote her.Everything is going along fabulously and then the love happens. It is fast but it is also surprisingly chaste and sweet and just what you want for these two people who haven’t had much good in their lives. I liked the two characters together so much that I didn’t mind the quickness of their relationship or the fact that we really don’t yet know a whole lot about them.So I keep reading, happy with my decision to give this book a try, thinking I can't wait for the next one in the series since the secondary character Shady is really great and I want more of him.And then...Then the tears start. Not just a little mist. Not even a quiet sob. I can only relate my crying to a torrential downpour - a monsoon of tears. An avalanche of sorrow and beauty that when combined makes this story so touching. This book does not have a conventional ending, which I know a lot of readers will not appreciate. I however have never been the type of person that needs a traditional HEA to love a book (although in my heart this book did have its own unique HEA). I just want a great story that makes me feel and this book certainly accomplished that. I applaud Kim for the direction she took this story. I don't think it could have ended any other way. It was completely unexpected especially for a gritty MC but it worked. Sinner's Creed was heartbreaking but also beautiful and I hope you give it a chance just like I did.

I listened to this book on audible and I loved it! But....it fucking gutted me! I cried like a baby from about the 1/2 way point, and I couldn't stop. Kim Jones....you kill me, and I love you for it! This author's talent is unbelievable. She has a way with making you live in the moment, making you feel every heartbeat, smell every scent, recognize every emotion. Dirk is a Sinner. You want to hate him for all the bad he is and all the bad he's done, but you don't.Saylor is everything. Well at least she is in the eyes of Dirk. She is pure, she is love, she is faith....but that's not all she is. This book is the ultimate dirty, gritty, hardcore, MC, badass, alpha romance you will ever read! Kim Jones tells it like it is and holds nothing back. She will have you crying, laughing, and pissed off all in one book! What a ride! If someone told me in advance what this book was about, I never would have read it...thank God I didn't know, I would have been missing out!! And I bitched in some of my comments about how expensive the book is.....but let me tell you...it was worth every fucking dollar and then some! I would sell her my soul to get my hands on the next Sinner's book! I'm so glad I read this book!! Kim Jones...I'm forever grateful! Thank you for being spectacular!

I went to bed cursing Kim Jones last night because she isn't my friend on facebook. I wanted to reach out to her and scream why!!! No that's not right, I wanted to tell her I was broken. I wanted her to tell me it was all make-believe and to not be upset. I wanted, no I needed solace.Kim Jones writes on a completely new level, from the Kim Jones I've read in the past, and although I've enjoyed her previous work, this by far is superb. But, be prepared, she will gut you in this story. This is Dirks story (Male POV) a member of Sinners Creed MC. It's about growing up in a difficult situation, his struggle with believing it made him a monster and if he's worthy enough for love.Saylor straight reminds me of Jenny from Forest Gump. She is free spirited and when I picture her, I picture her in a white dress with flowers in her hair. But not just that, I see her through Dirk's eyes. I see her how he loved her; perfect.Kim Jones created scenes and moments that will be etched into heart and soul.I went in blind, I'd have you too. I'm not going to tell you why you'll break, but be prepared to be the masochistic reader that you are, because as much as you'll break you'll also fall in love.Side note: I'm told by friends of mine that Kim is hysterical. I cracked up at her dedications to her sisters. Also, in the midst of being ripped into pieces by Kim she goes and throws in a line about Harper Sloan that had me giggling and breaking through some of my hurt, because she is funny, even when she's torturing you.

5I hate you Imane for making me cry so much Stars I have puffy eyes, this book did not only make me cry, it made me cry to the point of having puffy eyes !!! I walked into this story completely blind, I just dove into it to get my stupid ass friend to shut up about it,but maaaan am I glad I did. This was not what you'd expect an MC book to be. It was so real, so emotional, and so gut wrenchingly beautiful. Dirk made all the Christians, Gideons, and every other fucked up alpha male pale in comparison. He is a true biker: angry at the world but still holding on, messed up life but thankful to at least be alive, and taking lives as a job because why the hell not ! He is the most complex, most beautiful character I've ever came across, and the love and commitment he has for the club and the brotherhood makes him the sexiest character I've ever met. I could ramble forever about this book but I can't do that without spoiling it for other readers, so I'm only going to say this: Just open the book and start reading, let it take you wherever it wants, I promise you won't be disappointed, I sure as hell wasn't because this book is now one of my all time favorites and is the best I've read so far this year.

3.5/5 Woow... What can I say? Even though this book was cheesy and a bit predictable I figured the 'twist' really soon I feel like the author gave out too many hints. And the Insta-love which was kind of annoying. But over all wow their chemistry was very strong and it was a really great read for me and really realistic.

This was so not the book I thought it was...and although I like Ms. Jones, I was a little disappointed in the majority of the writing and the characters ...I struggled through most of it, but after the last part of it, I have to give it a 3 1/2...although I did cry a bit in last part of it.

4.5 Devastatingly beautiful stars! Source: eARC for Honest Review Courtesy of Berkley | Penguin GroupThis was my first Kim Jones and well definitely NOT be my last.  This book started a bit slow for me but when I finally got into . . . DAMN my heart was devastated.  I'm not sure why it started slow for me.  It could have been the longer chapters which sometimes makes it easy for me to get distracted or it could have been deep down I knew I was going to be gutted, so I was protecting myself easing into this story.  For the fans of Bright Side by Kim Holden and the SOA you will love this book. I explain this book as Bright side meets the MC.  Dirk's a lone wolf.  He's a nomad within the Sinner's Creed.  He's also dark and angry.  He's the man he is today because of how he was raised.  He knows no different then the MC ways.  He also believes he's a monster with no redemption.   That is until he sees Saylor Samson.  And if evil is he, then evil am I.  I don't need his pride.  I don't need his love.  He wanted a monster; he got one.  I am the spawn of Satan.  I am the son of Lucifer.  I am Sinner's Creed.Throughout the years Dirk sees Saylor but doesn't truly get to know her until years later.  He can't stop thinking about this girl, so now is the time to take what's his.  Saylor's a saint.  She's embodies joy and pureness.  She loves whole heartedly and has a huge faith in god and his plan.  This is not a religious book but a book about love, faith, hope and second chances from the two most unlikely duo. It takes a lot to soften the likes of Dirk, but Saylor is up for the challenge.  This love story is epic and heartbreaking. Just writing this review I'm close to tears reliving my experience with these two. The more Saylor and Dirk fall in love the more Dirk changes. Just before I melt into a pool of mushy vagina on the floor, she changes the subject. The character of Saylor is one that you can't love.  You easily see how Dirk fell so hard with this beautiful spirit. Together the are one.  If she hurts, then he hurts and vice versa. It's jut a headache, but if she hurts, I hurt.  It's that fucking simple.Gah! I just loved this beautiful devastatingly heartbreaking story.  I don't want to give too much away as this is a story that need to be experienced by all.  I loved everything about this story from the premise to the characters the only thing that held me back was it was a slow start but so worth that hiccup.  I'm such a fan of well done MC books as well as damaged men who find their way to being whole again.  And this book fit the bill on both counts.  This book was done from Dirk's POV, which I quite liked as we got to see in the inside of his head with his transformation after meeting Saylor. I can NOT wait for more from this series and this author.  Shady's story comes in July in Sinner's Revenge can't wait!

My Thoughts:This is my second read by author Kim Jones and I really enjoy her raw, edgy, and unique writing style. She takes risks in her writing, and I appreciate the fact that her stories aren't predictable or traditional by any means. For someone like myself, who reads a lot, this is a nice change of pace. I think Ms. Jones books will not be every romance readers cup of tea. You will most likely either love or greatly dislike her stories, with no in between. The reason for this being that not all of her characters are lovable or even likable, there are behaviors that happen within the MC that go against the grain of what's acceptable in society, and there is a lot of explicit language and sex in her stories.Sinner's Creed was an emotionally draining read, yet unconventionally beautiful as well. It is the story of Dirk Dixon the Sinner's Creed Nomad National Enforcer, and the vibrant, beautiful, and very loving Saylor Samson. Told exclusively from his point of view, we learn about their love story. Throughout the years, Dirk ran into Saylor, and always seemed to arrive when she needed saving. She made quite an impression on him, and he could never stop thinking of her. Evidently, he had the same impact on her as well. On one such day, she begs him to take her with him, and he can't find it within himself to deny her request. So as he tends to club business, she rides on the back of his motorcycle. With each day that passes, they fall deeper in love with one another. However, obstacles due to Dirk's hot temper and the secret that Saylor is keeping, will forever change life as they know it.As I began reading Sinner's Creed, I found Dirk to be full of unchecked anger, and his short fuse made him constantly act immature, illogical, impatient, and insensitive. Saylor was a saint compared to him. She was so full of life, vitality, optimism, and all that was good and pure. As the story progressed, it was beautiful to see the stark contrast in personality that only Saylor could bring out in Dirk. He was gentle, loving, adoring, and doting where she was concerned. Together, these two had so much passion that stemmed from such a deep emotional connection.Sinner's Creed does not give a traditional happily ever after. Let me put it this way, I cried non-stop from the 70% mark on. I had to take a break at the end, because this story had me in such a state of emotional turmoil. I went through a ton of tissue, had puffy eyes, a stuffy nose, and a heavy heart by the time I finished this book. My Rating:Sinner's creed threw me for quite a loop. It was unique, passionate, full of surprises, and gave me both an unconventional male lead as well as romance. It was also such a raw, powerful, and visceral story. This story had a huge impact on me, and I would highly recommend it to those that don't mind reading an untraditional romance that lacks a HEA ending. There is violence, and a harsh dose of reality where real life, as well as the One Percent MC Club life is concerned. However, there is also great emotion, realistic and flawed characters, passion, surprises, and a beautiful, but tragic love story. I give, Sinner's Creed, by Kim Jones, 4 Serendipitous Soulmates, Soul Shattering Passion, Painful Heartache Filled Stars! *To Read More Book Reviews, Visit http://www.abookishescape.com

Sinner's Creed by Kim JonesDirk & SaylorInnocence, Sexiness, Music, and Protectiveness5 Mutha Effin' StarsThis book is going on my TOP 10 list for 2016. It moved me in ways no other book has. It was a complete and utter drain on my emotional well being and I wouldn't have it any other way! It was frightening yet amusing. It was happy yet gloomy. It made me jump out of my skin but then left goose bumps on my arms. So many mixed emotions and so much turmoil that I fear this book is not for the faint of heart. It is by far a dark and gritty read. I dare you to dive in! Warning: Have booze, smokes, and tissues!!Saylor Samson is the epitome of innocence. She screams it and yet she defies it. She is my hero in every way. Faced with impossible odds, she stares down her demise and challenges it. She's tough as nails, comical to a fault, and so damn cute it's killing me. I especially adore the fact that she isn't really frightened of Dirk (at least not after the initial meet) but welcomes him, accepts him, and has faith in him. A God fearing woman who isn't afraid to take what she wants and pray for the rest! Love her!Dirk Dixon - Sinner's Creed nomad is all kinds of fucked up. He's basically a hit man, although his purpose serves much more than that. He is now Saylor's savior and mine too if you must know. He's dangerous, he's scandalous, and he's sexy as hell! His hard exterior is penetrated only by one thing, and one thing only. Guess what? Yep, a beautiful blondie named Saylor. I find his surroundings comical at times, but as far as Dirk goes, I'm fairly certain his funny bone has been removed due to lack of use! You're gonna crack the fuck up when you find out who is "first" was. Good one Kim!The supporting character cast in this chaotic tale is somewhat big, but I really only want to talk about 3 people; Donnawayne and Jeffery, and Shady. Donnawayne and Jeffrey are Saylor's two gay friends and the absolute best companions a girl could ever have. They take such good care of her, it's amazing how people from all walks of life fit together so well. Now, Shady is just that...SHADY... He has exactly ONE friend and that's Dirk. He's always there even when you don't really know it. He's Dirk's eyes and ears to things unknown! I see his book is next and I can't wait to find out what twists and turns his life is going to take in Sinner's Revenge. To wrap this up and get my ass back to reading, I will say this.. Sinner's Creed is so compelling that I could NOT put it down. The writing style of Kim Jones in this story was effortless to read. I was so drawn to Saylor and Dirk that their lives became my main concern. This is a dark, gritty romance, with tons of chaos and bedlam. It's more emotional than you would think so get your tissues ready. The dialogue flows and sounds natural. The tension that Kim creates throughout the story leads you up to a climax that I will NEVER forget! ARC provided by Author and Publisher for an honest review

<"You're late."I don't know where to begin. I'm still shellshocked. This book was not what I was expecting. Our anti-hero is part of an MC. Dirk is a Nomad and his job is to travel and clean up after the MC. He has been murdering people since he was a teenager. He lives and breaths the Club. He loves the Club and his loyalty is never doubted. His grandfather treated him badly and he learned to defend himself early on. The first time he met Saylor, she was young, seventeen. He helped her when she was stranded with a flat tire. Over a few years, he kept bumping into her. He felt attracted to her in a way no other woman has done before."You are all I need."Saylor Samson believes Dirk is her salvation. Every time she has needed help, he has been there to provide it. He is a quiet man whom she knows doesn't live a legal life, but in her eyes, he's nothing but perfect for her. Saylor places all her trust in him. She gives her heart. At some point, I thought she had no backbone and I was getting mad until I found out the truth.I was not ready for the turn of events in this book. It broke my heart into a thousand pieces. Even writing this review makes me feel sad all over again. Kim Jones delivers a powerful story with engaging characters. I know I won't forget it. "I am the spawn of Satan. I am the son of Lucifer. I am Sinner's Creed."Dirk is the Nomad National for Sinner’s Creed MC and boy does he pull it off. I was smitten from the very beginning and trust me, you will fall for him too."Innocence""Sexiness""Music""Protectiveness"Is what he felt when he saw Saylor Samson 4 times in his life. The 4th time is what changes it all. He has to have her. What he doesn't expect is for her to change his life. It's really hard to do this review, probably because of me now just finishing but this was an awesome story. I loved the characters and love how it was just told in his POV but still being able to follow the other characters, just amazing. The development was spot on and so versatile, you cannot help but fall for these characters. I loved how he was with Saylor."Every man has a purpose. I always thought mine was with the MC. Now I know the real purpose of my existence. To be anything Saylor Samson wants me to be."Saylor, she was just amazing. The perfect fit for our mysterious biker. She really brought out the best with his character."I have nothing. I know you are confused about why I chose you. I can see the uncertainty in your eyes every time I look at them. All I can tell you is that you inspire me"I had all sorts of feels for this story and is characters. I'm getting seriously hooked to this author . I cant wait to see what she brings out next!"You're late.""I'm Dirk.""I'm Saylor.""I know."

The story is dark and gripping. The first person narrative of the male protagonist, an outlaw biker who "enforces" for his club, meaning that he is their hit man, never wavers. The female protagonist seemed like she had a few screws loose, hopping on the back of this total stranger's Harley, going on a journey that had obvious shady, criminal purpose. There are hints she is in a deep depression which might explain her otherwise illogical actions.I started getting a really ominous feeling a few chapters in, that this was not going to end well. I checked a few reviews and once I realized that (view spoiler)[both h and H die at the end(hide spoiler)], I regretfully stopped reading. This has absolutely nothing to do with the writing style, which is really one of the best I have read in the genre. It has everything to do with me, personally, as a reader. I don't always shy away from five hankies read but I just did not feel that I was in the mental place to go through that at this particular point in time. Despite his flaws, or perhaps because of them, I found myself incredibly emotionally connected to this anti-hero. So could not go on, ironically, knowing what loomed ahead.

This book shredded me!!! I just finished this book and even as I write this I'm still emotional. To prevent giving anything away that would ruin this for someone my review will not touch on the parts that I really want to write about. This book is about Dirk. a Nomad MC and Saylor, a girl he runs into over many years and they never talk to one another and never had any contact other than looks across rooms. That is until one day when all that changes. Their story is one I've never read before. Their chemistry is immediate and their love is one that will stay with you. For me, Sinner's Creed is the BEST MC BOOK I'VE EVER READ and I think that's because it is so darn different. It's not just a book, it's a journey and an experience that I will not soon forget. I felt it all. Kim Jones tells an amazing story and she's quickly moved up to one of my favorite authors. I can't wait to dig into the next book. I honestly don't know what else to write without adding spoilers so I'll stop but please go get this book. It's AMAZING!!!! *I received this book from the publisher and provided my honest review.

Wow! Twenty-four hours later and I'm still emotionally reacting to this story. Not even sure if I'll be able to find the right words to describe it and describe my impressions and reactions. I won't say that I'm the most well-versed in biker romance out there, but I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that this book is one of the best. Now this is not to say that it will be everyone's gig since lordy it is not going to make one swoon and think of hearts and rainbows especially there at the end. However, as far as engaging the reader, making them know and feel a story, and then slaying a reader's heart for that brutally beautiful heartwrenching end, yeah, it will do that. This was a new to me author and it's a brand new biker romance series. Of course I was game to give it a go. Within a few pages, I knew I had a hold of a story that would rival my favorites out there in this niche of romance and, when I shut the book, I knew I had read one of my best reads for the year. Thank the good Lord it is a series. The book opens with a series of glimpses of the hero's encounter with the beautiful, mysterious angel who is the only light in his dark, demon-filled life. Dirk is a member of the strongest, baddest 1% MC in the country. He was born into it and molded by it and now he is the monster that even the toughest bikers don't want to see striding into their clubhouses because he's the National leadership's strong reaching arm that usually leaves blood and silence in his wake. Dirk believes he will live and he will die, but he will never have anything good. But then light-filled, joyful Saylor Samson doesn't remain his distant dream. She is not afraid of him and gives him her smiles. She wants to go with him and her pull on that little piece remaining of his soul allows him to say yes. Without questions or expectations, she gets on the back of his bike and keeps this solitary nomad company. Dirk slowly discovers that life can have warmth, light, and a zesty flavor thanks to Saylor. He doesn't neglect his duty to Sinner's Creed and fulfills all that is asked of him, but now there is more. But just as he starts to hope and have faith that life can be more, he is forced to make hard choices that aren't choices at all. A rival club is pushing in, his club will see Saylor as a threat, and Saylor has been keeping a huge secret. Dirk is forced to walk through flames and hope that he isn't left only with ashes.Alright, so no surprise after my first remarks that this story gutted me. Utterly. The author makes it clear that she knows of what she writes. She knows this world and the people who live it. She doesn't sugar coat and I'm grateful because then my response was honest and authentic and I didn't feel manipulated. But she knows how to write a love story- a tragic one, but a love for the ages. The story is all told first person point of view by Dirk. This was a wise choice because it left Saylor something of a mystery and allowed the reader to discover her right along with Dirk. The story because it is all Dirk's narration rises and falls on his shoulders. He is an incredible character. He grows up rough and mean with not an ounce of gentleness or tendercare in his life. He is very much a product of his environment and yet, there is that little bit that managed to stay whole- that bit that saw a sweet, wholesome vibrant girl and yearned for her and dreamed of her. He doesn't know what to do with Saylor when he has her and it was heartwarming to watch his early efforts right through to the end. Speaking of that end, its hard and not typical in a romance. Be prepared. My heart broke, but I acknowledge that the end fit the story. I will be waiting like a cat at a mouse hole for the next installment in the series. In summary, this was amazing and utterly beautiful storytelling. It is hard, brutal and gritty, but still on the moderate side for a biker romance. I can easily recommend it, but not if the reader is in the mood for a swoony and smile inducing happily ever after. No this is for those who want to engage and feel something deeply that will leave them with tears, but a great love for story and characters. My thanks to Penguin Group for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is one of the saddest books I've ever read. I'm putting it in the category of Me Before You and When It Rains because both of those books made me exceptionally sad and cry like a fucking baby. For the first 60% it is this beautiful story of soulmates meeting and discovering what it truly means to find that soulmate and learn to love them. I imagine Dirk as this pissed, angry, soulless dragon and Saylor as this beautiful happy fairy. I loved reading Dirk's POV when he was falling in love with her and coming to grips and discovering all of these new emotions he was feeling. It was extremely funny at times. Then you hit the 60% mark and this bomb drops even though you kind of have a feeling that something is going to happen up to that point. I am not going to put in any spoilers and still try to describe how this went.... The last part of the book is SO SO hard to read. I am a sensitive reader and the process of what happened was just WAY too long and drawn out for me. It was SO painful to read and watch this strong, brutal, vicious man try and keep it together and fall apart at times. I mean he is the MCs freaking assassin for crying out loud and he loved the shit out Saylor and watching him endure what he did was just too much for me. I kind of wish I had never read this book to be quite honest. I really liked Kim Jones' book Clubwhore but I want to take this one back. It was too sad for me. It has a non traditional HEA and the last part is painful but man does Jones make you feel in this. I'll still give this five stars because it was really well written and I did not hate it, it just made me exceptionally sad.

5 Sinner’s Creed Stars - ❤ Audible Review HERE ❤Wow, this is unlike any MC book I have ever read or will ever read. It started off slow but boy does it suck you in. My heart is a mess right now. I have so many feelings about Dirk and Saylor and I can’t put them into words. These characters are all so different but exactly who you expect and want them to be. I don’t know if that makes any sense but in my head it does. Saylor is the light and Dirk is the dark and everyone else is the shadows and this book shows you that the Dark can become light for the right person. I just am in awe of how this book got under my skin the way it did. It is not your regular romance by any stretch of the imagination but it still leaves your heart so very full and maybe a little sad too. Joe Arden, this man narrates the heck out of this book, he may not put the emotion in his voice often but when he does look out because you will be putty in his hands.*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*
