Short beautiful happy little story about a blind man and scarred woman who are very unsure that anyone could want them as they are. It was a perfect little right read, easy romance.

Sweet contemporary romance with very little angst. Both characters are insecure about their conditions. Lucas and Natalie live in different cities but communicating via email through work which progresses to phone calls. I enjoy these stories. It was a nice read, but I would have liked a bit more. The story was predictable and once they discovered what the other was hiding, I felt like it was all smooth sailing from there. Any small angst that occurred was quickly solved. This is a nice read if you are in between books or if you just want something sweet.A copy was provided in exchange for an honest review.

When I read the description of this book I knew I would love it. I'm a huge sucker for a disability (does that make me writes) when reading romance novels and I felt that Lucas was going to make me smile! Oh Lucas! My heart was sad for him. He wasn't broken or unable to thing for him self but people treated him with kid gloves. That mad me mad for him. As the story goes on we slowly understand him and totally swoon over him! Natalie has her own issues but I really liked her. She was easy to release to and I found my self wanting to be her friend. In a weird way her and Lucas were the perfect match in so many way. I loved that even though she had some self esteem issues, she also had some confidence about her also. I loved the plot. It was a internet connection/ disabled hero romance novel and it sucked me right in the story. The flow was good and I loved the banter.Overall, this is my first book by this author and I loved it. I was sad with how short it was (100) pages or so, but I didn't feel like I was left wanting/needing anything. I just really enjoyed these characters and was sad to see it over. 4.5 stars #2OCCJD

What a wonderful, romantic tale set in Europe with two endearing characters who deserve a chance at love. I thoroughly loved it from beginning to end and especially appreciated getting the points of view of both main characters. I have enjoyed Sofia’s writing previously (Her Snowdonia series) and highly anticipated this new release. I love all the details in Seeing The Love and I’m drawn to Sofia's writing style. I look forward to picking up more books by this author! Just picked up Crash Into Love for what I'm sure will be another treat.

I loved it. It was a quick, happy novella and it delivered. I actually adored the business aspect. It was nice to see people with normal jobs -- IT suppliers -- it worked really well.

Natalie FontaineLucas WadeMany thanks to Ms Grey for sending me an ARC, in return for an honest review. This is another delightful story from the pen of Sofia Grey.Lucas and Natalie work in the same company, but in different Branches in two major cities in New Zealand, where Ms Grey likes to set a lot of her works. Our couple integrate over the phone, and by Email often in their line of work, and feel comfortable with each other, and although they have never met,are quite close. When Lucas goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure an order gets through for Natalie, she returns the favor by having apackage sent to him, a bright yellow frisbee. Having spoken a lot, their conversations have often crossed over into their personal lives, so Natalieknows Lucas has a dog, what she doesn't know, and Lucas is too afraid to tell her, is why he has said dog. Natalie herself, hasn't told Lucaseverything about herself either, even when she is hospitalised for an operation, and he contacts her every day, she still doesn't tell him the fullreason for her operation. The couple are comfortable with the relationship they have, “I’d like to think we’re friends.”Friends? Yes, she could do long-distance friendship.but Natalie's images, and dreams of what Lucas looks like and could do to her, eventually get the better of her. When an upcoming visit to Wellington, where Lucas is based, for a company conference comes up, she takes the opportunity to arrive a couple of days early, to deal with a few personal matters, and maybe pluck up the courage to meet Lucas prior to the conference. A visit to the park in hopes of running into Lucas and his dog, Molly, and the bright yellow frisbee, turn out to be both a mistake and a blessing, but after getting off on the wrong foot, our wonderful couple setout for coffee, and to get to know each other face to face.Once the air is cleared, and things are straightened out between the two, the proper romancing can begin.Ms Grey writes a wonderful story, with very believable situations and likable characters, and included are a few life lessons. There is a lovelysweet sex scene between our couple that shows the depth of trust they have both developed with each other and of course a lovely HEA.No spoilers, about either of our characters surprises, read this beautiful story to find out. What a great short story, another one to add to my growing pile of Ms Grey favorites.

Seeing The Love by Sofia Grey is a very sweet romance reads quick and is filled with swoon worth romance. Lucas is losing his sight but he's not letting that slow him down. Natalie was in a horrific car accident that has left her covered in scars. They both work for the same company and have a long distance working relationship for years. Neither know about each other’s conditions and they plan to keep it that way. When a chance to meet each other in person presents itself secrets will be revealed. Get ready to sigh and smile a lot. Lucas and Natalie are very sweet characters. It’s easy to see how they are attracted to each other. Both are very self-conscience of what they consider their personal downfalls and both have been burned by previous loves. You would think a story about a man losing his sight hooking up with a woman covered in scars would come off being tacky and ironic, but the author has presented in a way that you are left feeling they’re soul mates. I really enjoyed their interactions as friends then moved into something more. As their secrets were exposed, all their vulnerabilities pulled at my heart. There are other little twists to their story that keep the story moving along at a good pace. And yes there is a very sweet, very satisfying HEA for these two. I expected a quick ready, which I got, but I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. It was a nice break from all the heavy books I’ve been reading lately. Seeing The Love by Sofia Grey is definitely a book worth reading. I received this book from the JeepDiva for the express purposes of an honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine and in no way was I compensated.Stars - 3.5, Flames - 3

This is a sweet, romantic story of budding love.I loved both of the main characters, and the author's tone made me care about them. One could understand and sympathize with Lucas and Natalie, and what they were going through. The fact that they both respected each other and were genuinely nice people made me like and care about them.Seeing the Love is a beautiful love story. I enjoyed it so much that I will definitely be reading more of Sofia Grey's work!

Seeing the Love was a good read. Their work relationship turned into friendship, which turned into love. They each had their own issue to work through, but the other nixed it right away because it wasn't a problem. They empowered the other. They get their HEA.I received and ARC of this book from the publisher and NetGalley for an honest review.

He's going blind and is in denial. She's scarred and is afraid to show herself. Some drama regarding employment issues and disabilities. Story moved along via email/texts which I enjoy (I am a sucker for an epistolary romance). Nice use of music - I actually looked up the Stereophonics song mentioned.Free on Amazon Prime.Set in New Zealand.

Grey's storytelling always fills me with hope and inspiration, and this read did not disappoint, it's just as beautiful as the rest of her work! Luca's has a rare condition and his eyesight is slowly deteriorating. He was ready to live the rest of his life alone, with no possibility of anyone ever being able to accept him for his handicap. Then there's Natalie, Lucas's co-worker who works in the sales department a hundred miles away, who has her own scars.Their friendship takes place over company-wide messaging and emails, then texting and personal phone calls, and when they realize they can't stand another moment away from each other, they meet face to face. The author states at the end of the book that this story was inspired by the work of Tina Carreiro to raise funds for research into choroideremia, good hearts all around here!

Another book where the author forgets what disabilities she gives the heroine halfway thru the book so that she can write a sexy lovemaking scene but oops, forgets the leg brace she put the girl in. (!?!) Oddly, it kind of disappears from the story, never to be seen again.A hero who's going blind who has work frustrations and pandering frustrations with those around him (outside troubles), but seems to have no internal battle with his situation, at all. This one was lacking in depth and characterization. It was okay - I'm not saying I'm sorry I bothered with it. Only that I'm glad it was only 99¢.

Very heart warming story. Decent length of about 108 pages. I liked each of the characters. Both have barricaded themselves from relationships because they believe they are too damaged. It was nice to see that a friendship builds and then flourishes before a romance begins. They find strength in each other and begin to make strides towards a future. Natalie impressed me by facing her fear. She really has to brace herself to do something that frightens her but pushes herself and is rewarded well. I loved that Lucas doesn't let others push him out of his job and that he takes a chance hoping that Natalie will want a future with him.Adult read

I got this book in exchange for an honest review. This book has it all. Laughter. Love. Pathos. People who are real and not perfect. So many romances have billionaires, alpha males and other "beautiful people". Both of the main characters in this book have to struggle each and every day, the same as most of us do.If you couldn't tell by now I absolutely loved this book. It is one that will forever remain on my Kindle to be read and read again. For me there is no better compliment to the author. It also has me seeking out her other works to read them also.
