ARC provided by publisher in exchange for an honest reviewHis Millionaire Maid by Coleen Kwan is a cute entertaining love story that focuses on on a young millionaire heiress, who is tired of having people think that she only got promoted because of her prominent last name. So when an unfortunate accident lands her totaling her car, Nina Beaumont takes this as a sign. A sign that maybe for one month she can escape being Nina Beaumont and be Nina Summers, a maid at a local inn in Northern California. But what happens when she tries to be someone different and actually does real manual labor? Can Nina handle this new job while trying to reign in the growing attraction to her boss? Or will all her secrets backfire when the truth of her identity is revealed? His Millionaire Maid was indeed a quick entertaining summer read. I love the concept of a rich heiress trying to find herself and what better way than to escape and be someone else. Though the story may be predictable in a sense of her falling for her boss, I found myself enjoying the banter, flirtations, and of course the sweet tale of finding love. So if you want to get lost in a quick fun cute romance, then I suggest you give His Millionaire Maid by Coleen Kwan a try.[image error]Review can also be found on Four Chicks Flipping Pages:http://fourchicksflippingpages.weebly...

Paige's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book ReviewsI liked this take on the millionaire and the commoner. It was lust at first sight between our main characters Nina and Joe. They had an instant connection that last throughout. Joe is hard-working man who seems old before his time. He has his family, his business and the city all counting on his success. He tried so hard his whole life not to disappoint anyone but he needs a little shake up. Nina happens to stumble into his town and lands in Joe's world. It doesn't take too much time getting her bearings and fitting into her new life. She's proved that she is a hard working and willing to go the extra mile for Joe and the city. Overall it was a enjoyable read but seemed to rush at the end for me. A few more chapters or an epilogue could have rounded out the book. Review copy provided for an honest review.

I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest reviewHis Millionaire Maid is a fun story with two rather likable characters. Add in some steamy scenes, and it is an enjoyable summer read, perfect for the pool or beach.I really loved Nina, connected with her right from the beginning. Nina was hard working, intelligent, and sick of everyone assuming that she only advanced at work due to her father owning the company. She never had a chance to shine as an individual because she was always the boss's daughter. This is a prime example of how money can't buy happiness. Nina wanted to get away, to prove she could make it on her own.Joe-- who wouldn't like him. Another sweet, hard-working guy who was fighting to keep what he loves out of the hands of the Man. Sparks fly between these two. There are lots of humorous scenes, along with lots of steamy scenes which really made for an enjoyable read. The story is fast-paced and moves along quite nicely. It's also on the short side which works great for the shorter summer attention spans. If you're looking for a fun book with some heat, give this one a try!

Coleen Kwan's His Millionaire Maid an interesting look at romance. Instead rags to riches, it explores riches to rags. Nina has everything but is not happy. She wants a chance to reinvent herself and that means distancing herself from the wealthy life. She accidentally finds the perfect way to disappear. On her trek to self-discovery she meets the perfect guy. Joe is everything she has been searching for and working as a maid allows her to learn about herself and fall in love. But what happens when secrets are revealed . Will they explode and cost her everything? His Millionaire Maid is full of great characters and emotional situations. Great fun. I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.

Nina Beaumont grew up with money but she doesn't embrace the fact that her family is wealthy and even though she is working for her father she is questioning if it is the right thing for her. As if fate steps in she finds herself in a small town and mistaken for a maid. Joe Farina is the owner of the hotel, he isn't sure Nina can even do the job as a maid but he takes a chance. He can't stop his thoughts from lingering to her though and he knows she shouldn't go there but he does. What neither realizes though is the man trying to take his business is Nina's dad.Fun read, I enjoyed Nina and she was spunky. Joe reminded me of Luke from Gilmore Girls, not sure why but its who I envisioned. Highly entertaining.

Wow! This was an amazing book that I really enjoyed reading. I have never read anything by Coleen but I can say that she is now on my list of authors to read. She did a great job writing this book and keeping me hooked. I read this book in like 3 or 4 hours and could NOT put it down. This book had it all. There were times where I was like what are you thinking? Then others times that I wanted to smack people and then the HOT times and then the sweet times. It had it all!!! Do not miss this book.In the beginning of this book Nina is upset because she just got a promotion at work and overheard coworkers talking about how she only got it because its her dad's company. She thought it was weird that she got it and to find out that's why upsets her because she wanted to earn it by hard work. She is talking to her friend and decides that she wants to get away somewhere incognito where no one knows her. Her friend thinks she couldn't handle not using her money and high end stuff but the fates had the same idea as Nina in the form of a duck. As she's driving she swerves to avoid hitting it and crashes into an old quarry sinking her car in the water, only coming out with her phone. With no id, money, or credit cards she puts her plan in place and ends up at a B&B. Using her mother's maiden name she becomes the maid and works hard as the maid, not letting on to her true identity. Nina is instantly attracted to Joe and falls more for him the more she learns about him, but she feels like she's not good enough for him since she feels like she hasn't accomplished anything in life. She finds out that working as a maid is hard work and has to deal with heat from one of the employees that just makes it harder. She has 3 weeks to figure out what she wants to do with her life and to try to make it as a maid.Joe is the owner of the B&B and is waiting for the late maid the temp service sent out and mistakes Nina as that person. Rushing through explaining everything to Nina he doesn't give her the chance to explain she is not the person the temp service sent. Joe is stressed to the max between all his obligations and trying to keep Beaumont Industries from taking his ocean side mansion that he wants to turn into a new B&B from him. He despises Nina's dad and when she finds out she is scared to tell him its her dad. Joe is insanely attracted to Nina and is scared to start anything with her because he was burned in the past so now he steers clear of commitment and is scared that if he did and it went bad he would be sued. Will the employees ever accept Nina? Will she be able to last the 3 weeks as a maid? Will Joe get past all his fears and be with Nina? Will she tell him her true identity and if so, how will he take it? I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

To read this review and others like it check out my site at www.homelovebooks.com Starting your life over as someone else, I have to say that is what appealed to me about this book. I mean I think everyone at one time or another has thought about what their lives would be like if they were someone else or doing something else. Although not everyone drives their car into a lake and then takes that as a sign to just be someone else. Needless to say I was intrigued. So Nina is the daughter of a very shrewd businessman, who is super rich, and she is basically humored throughout her life, and her recent promotion at work wasn't one she earned. Nina wants to be her own person. She wants people to like her for who she is and not the amount of money that she has in her bank account. I can understand that. This book could have gone either way for me. Nina shows up at the inn and goes to work as a maid, and lets face it, she was either going to be a hard worker or she was going to fold under doing actual labor (after all she is a rich girl). Thankfully Nina worked her butt off. I loved how sincere she was in her desire to do well, I mean she worked so hard. And more than that she was nice to everyone, she worked hard to get the respect of everyone there, and she advocated for her new friends when she could. I couldn't help but love her. Joe is totally just a nice guy, with way too much on his shoulders. I liked him from the beginning. He took Nina in, helped her out when he really didn't have to, he went above and beyond. I loved how good he is to his friends, his community, and also to his grandmother. I felt like he has so much responsibility on his shoulders, and his dream of turning the run down mansion into a high end B&B was only going to add more. Of course, he's battling with Nina's father to keep his run down mansion, which only means when he finds out who Nina is, things are gonna implode (and I couldn't wait to see how it unfolded). I liked Nina and Joe, they had fantastic chemistry and they totally couldn't keep their hands off of each other, even if it meant they pretty much never got a good nights sleep. I think part of what I liked about these two is that both of them really figured out what they wanted out of their lives during the course of this book, I like when characters really find themselves. I loved the element of being someone else to find out who you really are. I enjoyed this book, the pacing was good, and it was a fun read for me.

I loved the concept of this novel far more than the execution, the idea that the billionaire is actually the maid - awesome.Nina Beaumont feels trapped, after a life of being the daughter who always gets things wrong, acts out, gets into trouble she has started working for her father's corporation but just when she thinks things are finally going right she realises her successes are merely nepotism, her father 'strongly suggested' that her boss consider Nina for the promotion, so he did. Nina doesn't even like the job but now she knows her co-workers don't respect her and her boss has given her a promotion based on her family name. Added to the mess is her ex-boyfriend who clearly loved her name and her money way more than he ever loved her.Nina decides to take her two weeks holiday to think about what she really wants to do, when a stray duck in the road causes her to swerve into a pond. Faced with yet another screw-up that will disappoint her father Nina decides to pretend to be someone else, stumbling into a bed and breakfast Nina is mistaken by the owner for a temporary cleaner hired through an agency. This is kind of a modern romance retelling of the little princess. Nina's boss Joe Farina is attracted to his new maid, even though she arrived several hours late, has no experience of the work and seems likely to quit at least once a day. But he knows an affair with an employee is tacky and unprofessional, also with his growing business, his family commitments and his town commitments (don't forget playing soccer as well), he just doesn't have time for a woman in his life.I bought this book because I had read another of Coleen Kwan's books and really enjoyed it, I think had I not been persuaded by prior experience I would have been put off by the cover, in hindsight the cover is probably more indicative of the book.I was reviewing another book today which caused me to skim Lauren Layne's back catalogue, one book, Only With You, struck me because it had some similarities with this but did it better.I thought having Nina's father be a scheming property developer, one who has apparently authorised strong arm tactics to get Joe to sell his latest property to Beaumont Construction was just lazy. Similarly, the antagonism from Joe's chef Sarah. Although I liked the book I didn't love it and I felt that the execution didn't meet the promise of the concept - which I was very excited about,

His Millionaire Maid is a cute read by Coleen Kwan. It brings together two people in circumstances that you wouldn't really expect. The writing itself is impressive. You're not weighed down by verbosity and the characters themselves are spot on. This is another middle ground novel for me because I can't say too much about it, or too little. It didn't bowl me over, but it didn't underwhelm me either. It fits in that perfect groove of a good read to pick up, sit down and relax.Joe's life is hectic, when the synopsis tells you he had a lot on his plate, it's not fibbing. He's the dependable go-to guy for seemingly everyone in town. Not only does he not have time for romance, he's more likely to run in the opposite direction of it. So when his new temp maid shows up late, with duckweed in her hair and not seeming to have a clue how to actually -be- a maid.. why is it that he is instantly intrigued?Nina, for me, really was the epitome of poor little rich girl, -at first-. That almost put me off the book completely, but I stuck with it due to her hilarious moments and I'm thankful I did. She even touches on that and calls herself as much. Nina is different though, then your typical silver spoon heroine that has everything handed to her. She -wants- to make her own way and prove herself, however, her family just isn't letting her do that. She want to prove herself and show them, especially her father, that she's more than just fluff and wants to get along on more than just the merit of being his daughter. So what better way then to go off the grid and hide out? I mean, it obviously has to help (somehow) that you accidentally run your car off the road and it sinks with all your identification in it, right? >__>Nina walks into Joe's B&B looking for directions and instead finds a hot man, standing there in "Dexter and DeeDee" mom gloves. (You may need to look that up, but trust me, it's worth it.) She's instantly enamored, and while he's curious about the hairdo, so is he. It's not love at first sight, or even like, but it's definite interest. These two butt heads from the get go, but there is this simmering underneath it that is more or less waiting to erupt if they give it the least chance. If you're looking for a good, fun read, give this book at shot! It's not completely intense, it is well written and the story is a nice escape. **ARC provided by Entangled Publishing in exchange for an -honest- review.**

I received an ARC copy from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.Nina Beaumont‘s story is somewhat unique. She is a young millionaire heiress, who comes from money and her family drives her crazy. They are causing her trouble in her work/professional life –I.E. Getting a promotion only because she is the boss’s daughter and finding out why she got the promotion because of her daddy being the boss and on her way home, she crashes her car and goes into water which causes her to lose her belongings including purse which holds her ID. All Nina sees this as a change, a sign that she can be someone new without her old life, family holding her back. So Nina is going to change her name from Nina Beaumont to Nina Summers and get a job working as a maid at a local inn in Northern California. It will be easy peasy, right? Not so fast…Joe Farina is the owner of the Inn that Nina goes into. He hires her and he has a lot on his plate. There is something about her that makes him take notice but he has so much on his plate. He has this company trying to take his land= this Beaumont Corporation trying to steal his land, then he is trying to care for his grandmother and then he has this new maid that he is attracted to. He notices she is not good at his job but he wants to give her a chance. Nina and Joe dance around their attraction and when Nina finds out what her father is trying to do to Joe, she knows if he ever found out who she really is, he would never ever forgive her and he would want her gone for good.It is great to see the two MC go toe and toe over their attraction to each other and to watch how Nina learned to do things without others doing for her. And to watch the chemistry between them which is off the charts. The emotions, at times, are so moving. I had my tissues handy because there are times when it will be needed. When Joe did find out about who Nina really was, the fireworks were explosive. Nina was heartbroken. She did go back to her father in order to get him to back off hurting Joe and his family/town/his Inn. There were several twists and turns in this story that made the ending much sweeter to me as a reader. Nina and Joe make the story because they are sexy, fiery, and independent people who are afraid to show their vulnerable sides but when they do, it makes the story so much better. My rating: 4.0 stars ****

Check out the full review on Bookaholics Not-So-Anonymous.Note: This ARC was provided by Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review. His Millionaire Maid is a standalone story from Coleen Kwan about a young woman who wants to be more than just the beautiful, rich girl and ends up falling for the bed and breakfast proprietor who employs her as his maid. Nina Beaumont is in Mendocino County when she gets into a bit of a car mishap, so when she decides to try being someone other than who she is, no one really recognizes her since she actually lives in San Francisco. Her new boss is Joe Farina and he pretty much doubts she has the qualifications necessary to be a maid but he's desperate, plus he's attracted to her, an attraction that seems very much mutual. I honestly didn't feel a connection between the two of them until the latter half of the book. As individuals, though, Nina and Joe were a delight, both instilled with a need to prove themselves as responsible adults. This is a lighthearted contemporary romance with a good set of characters. The story line of a rich girl pretending to be anything but and falling for the hardworking and not-so-rich guy is a common one but the author handled it well, adding bits of humor here. I do wish, though, that Nina's relationship with her father was threshed out more since it was what triggered her to work in his company even though she wasn't happy. Also, Joe was rather clueless when it came to how he felt for Nina and it took those closest to him to point out a thing or two on that regard. Speaking of which, I wouldn't mind if Vince and Sarah have their own story, either separately or as a potential couple. All in all, His Millionaire Maid was fun and flirty, which pretty much sums up the kind of love affair Joe and Nina had, and I'm giving it four stars. ♥

His Millionaire Maid is a cute read by Coleen Kwan. It brings together two different people who come from and live through circumstances you really wouldn’t expect or really think of. The writing was done well and the characters were interesting. This novel rode the middle ground for me. There isn’t much for me to say good or bad about it. I wasn’t overwhelmed with how much I loved it, but I also wasn’t underwhelmed with the story either. It is definitely a book that you can pick up and enjoy. When the story tells you that Joe’s life is hectic it isn’t lying. Joe seems to be the go-to-guy for everyone around him. He has a lot on his plate and adding a relationship is not something he is interested in. Joe is more likely to run away from a potential relationship then try and make it work. When his new maid shows up late, a complete mess, and doesn’t seem to know how to be a maid he doesn’t know why he is intrigued or why he wants to keep her around.I really thought that Nina was going to be the typical spoiled little rich girl and she was in the beginning. I stuck through the beginning because of Joe and Nina’s hilarious moments. I am glad that I did. She knows how she is acting and definitely tries to change it. Nina is ready to make her own way through life whether her family wants her to or not. When her car sinks with all of her identification she looks for work in a close B&B and there she meets Joe and is instantly intrigued. The two characters are definitely not love at first sight and it might not even be like. It is complete interest and lust that grows. They but head and fight through a lot of this book but it definitely adds to their relationship and the story. There is definitely tension underneath it all just waiting to boil over. If you’re looking for a good, fun, and easy romance give this book a shot. It’s not intense with the tension but it is well written and great or a short escape!

This is my first read by Coleen Kwan and I know I will be reading many more to come. I had this book read in a few hours. I could not put it down once i started. It was fabulously written. Loved everything about this story. Nina Beaumont is the daughter of a Billionaire and shes tired of her life. She may have grown up without a care in the world but now as an adult she doesn't want her name and fathers money to control her professional life or even her personal. While driving she think up a plan to go incognito somewhere for a short time and not deal with the riches of her last name. Fate intervenes and she ends up swerving to miss a duck and her BMW goes right into a river the only think Nina comes out with is her phone. She realizes this is her chance to put her plan in motion since her money, credit cards and ID are at the bottom of the river. Joe is the owner and operator of the Inn that is Hartley. When Nina shows up he thinks she is the temp that was hired to be the maid. Nina plays along with it even though Joe never gives her the time to tell him shes not really the temp the agency sent to be his maid. Nina cannot get over the fact that Joe is drop dead gorgeous but she loves that no one knows her true identity. Joe is trying to keep his 2nd property a run down house away from the Beaumont Corporation who want to tear it down and build a new hotel/resort that is not needed. Things get heated between Joe and Nina but will they last with the secret Nina is keeping? There is so much emotion in this book. One minute you are laughing the next you are pissed off at one the characters and ready to throw your kindle thinking it will do anything. there was even a few moments that my heart broke. What happens when Joe finally learns Nina's true identity? Will he be able to forgive her or will her lies be the end of them?

3.5 very happy I read this Stars This was a very engaging read. I totally felt sorry for the poor little rich girl and her “nobody likes me for me” tale of woe. For real, that sounded kind of sarcastic but I swear when Nina is feeling low it brought tears to my eyes and I felt really bad about what her life was like.Joe was a sweetheart. A workaholic, control-freak-ish, super hot, soccer-playing sweetheart. The story goes like this: Nina is sick of people treating her deferentially just because her father is a billionaire. At a very crucial moment, she drives her car into a watery grave (all to save a duck) and all her belongings, including her ID, go down with it save her phone. Deciding to prove to everyone, but most of all, herself that she has worth by herself and not only for the last name she was born to, she accepts a job as a maid in Joe’s inn.Let’s just say that didn’t turn out as smooth as she thought it would.Joe is at the end of his rope, he is low on staff, has too many obligations with the town and his family, and a very insistent magnate (who incidentally is Nina’s father) is trying to buy the land his newly acquired B & B project is situated on. He most certainly doesn’t have time for relationships, or even entanglements, least of all with the hot little number that came late to her first day on the job and seems totally inexperienced in cleaning.Well, let’s just say that both Nina and Joe experience feelings for each other like nothing they’ve known before. Luckily for us, their control is pretty nonexistent leaving us with what turns out to be some really hot, steamy scenes.I really enjoyed His Millionaire Maid and Ms Kwan’s writing style. I was with them through the whole story and couldn’t help but feel for them.*I received a complimentary copy from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review*

*I will try to avoid spoilers. His Millionaire Maid by Coleen Kwan Nina Beaumont has always been given anything she ever wanted. An expensive car, designer label clothes and a promotion at the family business.Everyone except her family and her best friend treat her differently, once they find out she is a Beaumont.People who get promoted are usually happy but when Nina overhears that she was not promoted based on her own merits, she is highly upset and disappointed. While driving, she is on the phone talking with her friend and comes up with the idea to visit a town where no one knows her true identity.Well, as they say, be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.One second she's driving and the next, a duck appears in the middle of the road. While trying to avoid the duck, she crashes, and her BMW sinks in the small and close knit town of Hartley. With nothing but her soggy clothes and her waterproof cell phone, she snags some dry clothes from a clothesline and ends up at the local inn, called The Comet Inn. As fate would have it she is mistaken for a new maid who was to be sent by an employment agency. Her new boss, Joe Farina, is a hard working man with a heart of gold who loves his small town and the people in it.However, his dreams of expanding and owning a B&B may stay a dream if he does not get the loan he needs to fix up his property and is forced to sell his property. Can Nina, who is used to the finer things in life, handle temporarily living a normal life?Would Joe treat her differently like the people of her past if he were to find out her true identity?I LOVED this charmingly sweet read about self discovery! *Checkout & follow my blog:http://wicked-blogs.blogspot.com

Let me start off by stating that this book is one of the best romance novels that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. It was entertaining with sensual, hot chemistry and was also a devilish good time of pure fun and enjoyment. When I first asked to review this book I didn't know if it was the material that suited my taste. I was somewhat doubtful on whether or not I would find the story to be likable. Well, the saying 'do not judge a book' is true. I would have never discovered how much I loved this story if I hadn't given it a try. So this book in so many ways was such a wonderful surprise. As far as the romance goes the chemistry was enough to sell me on this book. I loved the sparks that flew between both Nina and Joe. It was by far some of the best attraction that I have seen out of characters in sometime and that made the romance one of the best on the market today. So if you love romance you are going to love this book!Equally as important to the romance was the plot. This book had a solid plot. It was fun and yet not too overdone with humor that the book lacked character. It was nice to see the characters switched up a bit where Nina, the heroine is the millionaire's daughter and Joe, the hero is the owner of an Inn. It's these unique twists buried within the bases of the books that adds such interesting factors to the bases of a story. One a final note this book has a lot to offer readers and it should be added to your list of books to read for the remainder of the year!-This review was submitted to respectable parties PRIOR to posting the review to GoodReads...

See more of my reviews on my blog Thoughts At One In The Morning. My Thoughts:From the start, I could completely empathize with Nina: when your life feels like it's not going the direction you'd like it to go and you're not appreciated for what you do. It would be nice to abandon your life, just for a little while, and experience something new and challenging. So when a duck waddles into the road causing Nina to drive her car into a quarry, she sees her chance and grabs onto it with both hands. Armed with only her phone and the clothes on her back, she runs into Joe who assumes she's there to work as his maid. She goes with it because this is exactly what she needs--a complete change. The attraction between Nina and Joe is apparent, although both of them realize they shouldn't since they work together. The temptation builds beyond their ability to resist and they fall into bed together. But Nina's secret might be the one thing that could hurt Joe more than anything. His Millionaire Maid was a funny and cute story! It was a teensy bit ridiculous as far as the circumstances Nina fell into by chance, but it was amusing and led her to where she wanted to be. The relationship with Nina and Joe was what they both needed--for her to live a simpler and more fulfilling life, and him to let loose a little bit. It was sweet and charming. I enjoyed all the side characters Nina encounters when she's in Hartley working for Joe. Coleen Kwan's story is a worthwhile read!My Rating: Very Good

Nina thinks that her family being rich is the cause of all her problems. Especially after she gets a promotion within her fathers company and overhears people she thought liked her saying she only got the job because of her father. So when she takes off thinking to get away and her car ends up in a lake she is left with only the clothes on her back. She thinks this will be a perfect opportunity to be someone else. When she arrives at the nearest town, walks into the inn and is mistaken for the maid by the hottest man she has ever seen she assumes the role.Joe the owner of the inn has sworn off women but Nina gets under his skin. As they get closer and Nina gets her confidence back as she tackles being a maid, you keep waiting for him to find out who she is or for her to admit it. Of course when it comes out who she is Joe is beyond mad. Her father is the one that has been trying to buy Joe's dream project the one he is having a hard time obtaining a loan for due to the dirty tactics of the man her father sent to make Joe an offer. After Joe makes it plain its over between them and he wants nothing to do with her Nina makes a deal with her father. If he leaves Joe project alone she will go back to work at her fathers company. Now Joe has to get over his anger at Nina and she has to forgive him for breaking her heart. Rating: 3.5/5Nina Beaumont is a multimillionairess who really resents the effect her wealth and that of her father has on other people’s reactions to her. She’s involved in a car crash from which she escapes unharmed but without any identification and takes this as an omen. She walks to the nearby hotel and the owner assumes she’s the temp an agency is supposed to be sending. Assuming a fake identity, Nina takes the job at the hotel as a maid, cleaning rooms, making beds, serving in the restaurant and bar. To find out what happens when she falls for the hotel owner but doesn’t reveal her true identity even after finding out her father’s company is trying to force him to sell his property - well, you’ll just have to read it to find out! With great characters, lots of angst about what will happen when he finds out who she really is and a lovely community, this is a great plot and an enjoyable relatively quick read. There’s a little too much detail about sexual activities for my tastes, but the rest of the story is brilliantly written and engaging. Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley too, for letting me read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Nina Beaumont has only ever wanted one thing her father's attention and to be treated like everyone else; so when the opportunity arises Nina Beaumont becomes Nina Summers a down on her luck girl looking for a job and the opportunity to show herself that she can accomplish things on her own merit.Joe Farina is a hard working typical business owner that loves his grandma, his baby sister and is very involved in his community. Following a very bad breakup he doesn't do relationships. When Nina walks into Joe's inn and a job just lands on her she goes with it; while the two try to keep things professional soon things change. The story was super sweet and I would have liked it a whole lot more if Joe had had his "I'm in love" moment on his own his friends had to help him way too much. Also Nina never had a real moment where her father see's the real her. They had a mini father / daughter moment but I felt it needed more.Rating 4 out of [email protected]

At first after reading the blurb, I was a little unsure of how I would like this book. I was thinking it would be maybe a little snooty for me and that I would not like the heroine. BUT I am glad I did read this book. The heroine surprised me in that underneath her wealth, she had a heart of gold and truly wanted to prove she was more than her money. She was a delightful character who struggled to prove her self worth and learned how "real" people did things. I adored the character of Joe. He was a strong proud hardworking man who tried to see the best in people and give them the benefit of the doubt. Their flirtation was so cute, a little spicy and when they came together, it was fantastic. I loved their coupling. They complemented each other by bringing out what the other needed.I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher.

I received a copy of this story through NetGalley from Entangled Publishing for an honest review. This is another great book by Coleen Kwan. It has the perfect blend of chemistry and tension of "when is he going to discover who she is and how will he react when he does??" Both characters are very likable. I really liked how self-aware Nina was instead of being a stereotypical pampered princess. Her experience was humbling and exactly what she wanted and needed to happen at this point in her life. Similarly, Joe has also been hiding from life and letting himself be happy. Together the characters challenged each other and always stood their ground. Oh, but that poor duck.

I received this from Netgalley/ Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review. In this story Nina is a woman whose life is just not working out well for her. The world knows her as the daughter of a very rich man and not much else. She feels that no one really cares for her as a person and that she has just been given things just because of who her father is. When she wrecks her car she decides to try out a new way of living where no one knows who she is. I loved the story and the romance.

I enjoyed this short read! I enjoyed it from start to finish. You'll fall in love with both of these characters who are trying to find themselves in a sense. You'll enjoy the "maid" who happens to be a rich millionaire trying to go somewhere else/make a fresh start.. and lands up at Joe's inn. The flirting, characters, sexiness of the story are interesting and glue you to the pages until the very end. It's not your typical predictable story and that I enjoyed. It'a a wonderful summer read! 4 stars from me*ARC provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

A very entertaining and enjoyable, quick read. The flirting between Nina and Joe had me laughing out loud. They make a cute couple. I liked Nina's character. She is independent and down to earth who isn't afraid to start over and get stuck into hard work. I liked Joe's entrepreneurial spirit and his loyalty to his family. There aren't really any surprises or twists in the story but I enjoyed their journey and would highly recommend it. A perfect little book to relax with.

This was a quick, satisfying romance read. Nina is tired of not being taken seriously because of her family. She decides to start over where no one knows her. She stumbles into a job where she is instantly attracted to her boss. Joe tries to keep his distance and stay professional because he's her boss, but Nina doesn't make it easy on him. They both had bad exes so they don't want anything serious, just fun. Of course things change. Just a fun read.

Loved this one! Light, fun, and relaxing. Great writing and amusing characters make this one perfect for a lazy afternoon read. Joe Farina is plugging through life, running his inn, caring for his grandmother, and fighting off the attacks of the Beaumont Corp who is trying to get his property. Everything is under control. That is until Nina stumbles into his life. This is one I definitely recommend.

This was an unique spin in the romance novels we are used to. Most involve a rich man, where she is the wealthy one and I think it made for a great story especially with no one knowing. The book brought out lots of angst and had me laughing at her constant snark as well. I enjoyed the book immensely and believe you should definitely give it a try.
