Ok, I have to admit that I have been anxiously awaiting the release of this book and may have done a little happy dance when it arrived on my kindle! Well let me tell you it was well worth the wait!Book two starts of pretty much where book one left off with Emma and Mason being apart and struggling to stay away from each other. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they don't stay apart for long and agree to try to figure things out together. Right out the gate I was sucked into the world of Mason Cline and unable to put this book down.I loved watching the changes that Mason struggled to make in order to come to terms with himself. Reading his struggles was something that I really appreciated in this story. It isn't often that you are able to read a male POV that had so many internal struggles and I think that was one of my favorite things is this story. It was just something fresh and different that keeps your attention all the way through. Then we have Miss Emma. Now this is a character that has left me completely surprised. With Emma you don't receive a woman throwing herself off a cliff for the love of her life. There is no insta love here but there is a remarkable woman who struggles with what is right and wrong, which path to take, and what she needs to do next in order to make her life complete. She doesn't give into Mason right out the gate. She doesn't stand by his side when things get bad but rather goes off on her own to sort out the thoughts in her head. This was an aspect to the story that I loved. The fact that she was able to take a step back and not just follow dotingly behind Mason was a huge plus factor to me. I want to read that amazing love story but I also like to read a story where the characters are able to separate themselves from their love interests and conquer some of the struggles on their own.I found this story had excellent flow up until the ending. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more of a conclusion and felt that it was a tad rushed. I don't want to go into detail of what I wanted more of as I don't want to give any spoilers, but I just wished for maybe an extra chapter or two that would go into more depth of how things ended rather than just glossing over them. With all the trials and tribulations that went on in this story I think I was just expecting a bit more of a conclusion. Due to that rush I couldn't give this book a 5 star but this was a solid 4 star for me. Did I absolutely love this story yes! Do I urge people to grab it and get engrossed in the world that is Professor Cline? Hell yes!!! Perhaps the reason why I wanted more of a conclusion is because I was not yet able to walk away from the world of Mason Cline. He has kinda been my #1 book boyfriend for a while now and I am a tad bummed to say goodbye.

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting ever so patiently for this book and damn it was well worth it!!!Redeemed starts right off where Revealed ended and gets right into everything. Mason and Emma are still apart and struggling with staying apart for various and quite obvious reasons.I love that we get to see Mason go through his struggles and conflicts. There is no sugar coating what he is dealing with and J.M. does a fantastic job of not having Mason move past his problems and issues just like that or because of a woman. He realizes what he feels for Emma is different and strong, but he still has his demons and issues. Emma isn't the typical female character who just throws everything she has worked for over a guy and I absolutely find that amazing. She knows she wants to figure out where this thing is going with Mason but she also isn't willing to lose herself or screw up everything she was worked for her because of him. "No matter how many times I'd tired to get him out of my head, I couldn't do it. He was etched into my brain and permanently in my heart."J.M. does a fantastic job of writing two characters who are extremely strong and you feel a connection to them. You feel their compassion for one another and also the struggles they face. The plot is very well written and the suspense is just right for this story. Everything flowed extremely well, except I wish we could have had more of a longer conclusion; I felt certain parts felt rushed but that still didn't take away from the overall story. And that could possibly be also because I just wasn't ready to say goodbye to Mason and Emma. LOLYou must read this series!! It was one my favorite series this year and I look forward to more from J.M. I actually hoping we might get a story or two from a character or two that we got a glimpse of in this story - HINT HINT!Ok - stop reading my review and go buy this book - the whole series if you have not read the first, Professor Cline Revealed!

This is hard for me to review because I know my feelings and opinion are based on the hero. I like stronger more confident heroes. I never felt that with the professor. He was a law professor but couldn't seem to get away from some very nasty individuals. I just felt he did lots of things that fed into the negative history he so badly wanted to escape. He drug the heroine into it. Knowing he was putting her at risk. Spoiler!!! These bad people dealt in human sex trafficking and I never felt real concern from him for the h. I didn't feel he really cared for her that much. His behavior and even things he said made it look that way. There is one scene when they are suppose to be becoming a couple. First time she is at his home. They immediately have sex. That's not a big deal but his behavior after was detached. She's faced against a wall. He is behind her and they are having sex. She is trying to compose herself and realizes he is dressed walking out of the room. Asks she's hungry and sits to eat. She acknowledges in her head the awkwardness and grabs her underwear and straightens her dress. Then sits down to eat too. He didn't embrace her, he didn't assist her, didn't pick up her underwear, didn't wait for her, sat down at the table before she did. This is all very bizarre and did not feel like a reconciliation but more like a John and and escort. This is actually the first time I've had a hero that I didn't like strictly on vague and hard to document behaviors and off the wall comments. He doesn't call her names, he doesn't bad mouth her, he doesn't beat her, he doesn't cheat, etc., but does act like he is not emotionally invested. Many may like the hero but I guess he just rubbed me the wrong way.

I wanted more of the feeling I was left with in the first book....I really wanted to loooooooooove this one because I was more than head over heels for Professor Cline: Revealed. Sad to say, I wasn't nearly as enamored this time around. I even started skimming just so I could find out what happens. Mason is still delicious and alluring as ever, but the story just didn't captivate me. Even some of Emma's thoughts and actions seemed immature and somewhat detracted from my enjoyment. The end of book 1 signified a change in Mason and Emma's relationship which naturally guided the story down a new path. This new path is very different from the story in the first book and the marriage of the two just wasn’t very seamless for me. The feeling of book 1 somehow was lost in the mix. I really feel this story would have been better had it not been broken into multiple books. Breaking the story up interrupted the feel and flow (for me at least). Either that or I should have waited for both books to be published and read them back to back. Overall, Professor Cline is a good student/teacher tale. I just wish I had read them back to back instead of a long gap in between. The time between books definitely wasn’t my friend in this case. I would definitely recommend this for those who love a good student/teacher romance that's a bit on the darker side, but you may want to entertain a back to back read with this one.

I received an ARC of this book from TRSOR in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book's blog tour promotions. When I read the first book, I wasn't quite as impressed, and at that time, I've read other dark erotic romance novels, so it kind of paled amid the throng of all those books with a dark hero and a heroine who would become the hero's salvation. With this second book, I kind of enjoyed it more. Of course, it helped that the hero and the heroine were explosive together, even more explosive than they were in the first book. The sex scenes were really hot. Their dynamics have also evolved from merely being a student/teacher relationship. It still wasn't a perfect book, as far as I am concerned. However, I truly enjoyed reading this second book and getting to know Emma and Mason all the more. I also liked the other secondary characters. I really am glad that I got to read the two books. I think that now that I've read Book 2, I'm appreciating the first book more. This book cannot be read as a standalone. If you've read the first book, you definitely have to read this book. It's a great continuation to the story. If you haven't read book 1, I highly suggest you do and then read this book right after the first one. You won't regret it. Even if you won't love the book, it is still a sure entertainment.

I love Mason and Emma and I was dying to know how Mason was going to delicately side-step the dark world that he had been forced to participate in. You definitely get your answers here but I'd by lying if I said I wasn't just a but dissapointed with how it all shook out. There's a ton of build-up and the ending felt a bit abrupt. Nonetheless, this is still a really enjoyable story and there are some seriously hot as hell sex scenes. They're intimate, rough, and just what you were hoping for. Up against a brick wall?! YES, PLEASE. Mason's inner struggle was evident and Emma's give no fucks attitude was fantastic. I LOVED when Mason handed over the reigns and let Emma top from the bottom. Sexy and dominating - but not domineering - Mason quickly recaptured my heart. If there was a bit more detail as to how all of The Darkness unraveled and why it took Mason so long to take the actions he did then I'd be rating this much higher. As it is, It's 3.25 stars from me.[I recieved and ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review]

I really enjoyed the first book and I was so looking forward to this book.Mason's character in this book goes through some huge changes. He is dealing with lots of unfamiliar feelings and the story is based around him, trying to come to terms with his past and finding redemption for the things he was forced to do.Emma also changed a lot she became this beacon of strength, more to herself, making herself the number one priority, he feelings for Mason had intensified but I liked how she didn't lose herself in trying to help him heal but was there when he needed her. There are some twists and turns throughout the book and I enjoyed Mason's journey through the bad and the good. I liked the outcome of the story and the closure on this story. It's very rare to feel a deep connection to a male character but J.M LaRocca has given us this beautiful broken man to love within Mason and he is a character that will stick with me long after the last page has been read. This was a fab conclusion to Mason's story.

Professor Cline REDEEMEDFirst of all, I loved Professor Cline Revealed, and had somewhat high expectations for this book. Let me tell you, J.M. did NOT disappoint! The story was intriguing with each turn of the page, bringing me in deeper and deeper to Mason and his attempt to change the course of his path, not only physically but mentally too. There’s something about a strong alpha male that draws me in, but then when they reveal their weaknesses I immediately want to snatch them up and keep them to myself. Mason is one of those characters. He was dominant yet became soft for Emma, who by the way, I enjoyed a lot in this book. Emma was devoted at an arms length, which is exactly what though Mason needed so he could get his head on right. The plot to this story got thicker, and I felt my stomach drop a few times, filling with emotion that makes your heart hurt, pondering if Mason will actually get redeemed with the trouble he’d grown up with and been thrown into his whole life.

I think the conclusion to Professor Cline: Redeemed was absolutely perfect! I loved delving into Mason's mind, seeing his dark past and how he came to be such a tortured individual. And more than that, I loved seeing him find victory by fighting his demons. The sex scenes are scorching hot and Emma was perfect in her strength for not only staying true to herself, but being by Mason's side.

I absolutely adored Professor Cline Revealed, so I was DYING for this book's release. While I was happy to see our prof. face his demons, find justice, and accept love, I was s bit disappointed with the abrupt ending. It left me scratching my head a bit.

So, this was a great conclusion for a number of reasons. The author did a great job focusing on the actual story, but also realistically keeping the romance confusing and prominent. This h knew when she needed to be there for him, and also for herself.Great series altogether. The only complaint I have was the end. What happened? After such an epic story? I felt incomplete with the epilogue. I would seriously tell this author to do a follow up novella. Did they ever get married? Did he have that thing reversed? Etc....etc....the romance ending felt incomplete even if the mystery didn't.Still was a fantastic read. That first book though? Fantastic!

The conclusion: This book continues right from where the first ends. Mason and Emma have a lot to work out. Mason is held at bay by his demons but determined to fix the situation since he can't live with his past. Emma is trying to come to terms with their relationship and decide whether they can have one or not. She is very drawn to him and can't seem to stay away. All comes to a head at the end and more questions are answered. I really enjoyed this book and if I had one complaint it would be that I would have liked to hear more about Donicko and John's fates.

First off, I didn't realize that when put together, the covers of both books show Professor Cline's face. Very clever. Second, I think that J.M. La Rocca did an excellent job with Mason and the mess he found himself in at the end of book one. This review may contain spoilers for Professor Cline Revealed."I'd never with this battle. I lost myself when I was seven. There was no redeeming who I would become." ~ MasonIt's hard not to feel sorry for Mason and all of the crap his father and Donicko put him through as an impressionable teen. Sure he's a grown man now, however that is the kind of crap that doesn't just go away. This guy needed professional help a long time ago. At the end of book one, Emma saw exactly what happens when Mason can't handle the darkness in his mind anymore. Instead of running, she wants to help him. Sure it's only been a few weeks, but she sees there is something special under all of the baggage Professor Cline carries around every day."I'd spent my whole life hiding behind a mask, hiding my inner and outer scars. But she'd seen a part of me. A part of me I never wanted anyone to see." ~ MasonAnd she stays. Well maybe not at first. Emma is a trooper, I'll give her that. Mason hits rock bottom this time and she still wants to know everything about him. He wants to tell her, however is afraid he'll lose her once everything is out in the open. On the other hand, until it's out in the open he won't be able to keep living the way he is now."I didn't want to let her go. She was my redemption, the light at the end of the tunnel, and I craved it." ~ MasonHe just wants to finally be somewhat normal. Not live with the ghosts of the girls from his past, especially Sophia, but Mason doesn't feel that he deserves a minute of peace for what he's done. He struggles along in the first half of the book until he finally comes up with a plan. One that will possibly lose him the girl, but save what little sanity he has left."You think you're the only one who's scared, but you're wrong. I have a lot to lose, too. But I'm here because I feel it and I can't deny it. Don't push me away." ~ Emma"You say you like me more than you should, but do you like me now that you know me? This is my darkest secret. This is the man you'd have to see every day." ~ MasonIn this second book J.M. La Rocca gives us a stronger Emma. Learning from her past mistakes, she vows not to be such a pushover in her next relationship, which works with Mason Cline. The build up to the end was great and we even got a little epilogue to see how everyone was doing after the big reveal. Reviewed for Renee Entress's blog.

Professor Cline Revealed is not your typical Student-Teacher romance. It’s a Student-Teacher romance with a dark twist to it that keeps you somewhat baffled. I must admit that it took me a while to really get into the story but just stick with it and you will get hooked. FYI, so that you aren’t surprised, this is book 1 of a series!Professor Cline, Mason, is a Professor of Law at NYU. Arrogant, aloof, and all alpha! He likes control in his life as well as in his bedroom. Even with all the control he exudes he is totally damaged and effed up. Events from his childhood that have scarred him for life are revealed early in the book but you know there just has to be more.Emmalynn, Emma, is a bright, strong young women. Moving to NY to begin her first year of law school at NYU, following in her big sister’s footsteps to become a lawyer. With so much to look forward to there is still something in her life that leaves her feeling unsettled. A fiancé that is frequently unavailable and soon to be proved unfaithful. Once discovering his affair, Emma, breaks it off. Distraught and disillusioned she moves in with her sister and begins rebuilding her life. Enter Mason, the man she had previously stumbled into at work when she spilt a beverage on him. A game of cat and mouse that had the two of them catching glimpses of each other. This increasingly the made remainder of the evening a hot bed of fuel, all we needed was match to light the fire under both of them. Mason knew that he had to have Emma, the woman who continuously occupied his thoughts and dreams. The first day of class at NYU held another surprise. As Professor Cline entered the room, preparing to start his class he looked up only to find the familiar eyes of Emma’s looking back at him. Containing his excitement was near impossible. He dwelled with the satisfaction that his mission to have Emma was just made easier.Mason was consumed with a fierce lust for Emma and would soon began to break all his rules to be with her. Would his overly controlling ways with Emma scare her off? Did Emma’s feelings run as deep for Mason? Was Mason too damaged and dark to make their romance possible? I can hardly wait for book two!!

“I loved once, but it was taken away from me.”I have been salivating to get this book since finishing Professor Cline Revealed on release day. It has been torture, but I was glad to finally get the resolution. Professor Cline Redeemed is the second book in the Professor series by J. M. LaRocca. It features a story of sex, love, thrills, mystery, and a fabulous twist of taboo. “I didn’t know how to open myself up to someone else. I didn’t know how to let my mask fall.”In Professor Cline Revealed, we are totally hooked into Mason. He is a professor…hot. He is complicated…hot. And he has deep secrets that make him a character that cannot be explained away…hot. So, opening the pages of Professor Cline Redeemed, we are pleased to see the same brooding Mason. He continues to be the man with many unknowns and we hope that he finds a way to look beyond his tortured past.“She was my redemption, the light at the end of the tunnel, and I craved it.”Emma is also a returning character, and our main female lead. In book one, she appears to be the young, college student who is entranced by the intellectually and physically endowed Mason Cline. However, much like Mason, in book two, we see a greater level of change in her character development, and it forces us to view her in a different light.“You have one wild card you can use on me. Use it wisely.”Professor Cline Redeemed was told in first person, dual points of view, from both Mason and Emma. At times, glimpses from the past were shared from Mason as well. I would not have expected such an outwardly strong man like Mason to have the depth of anguish that he did internally; this was one particular characteristic about him that continued to be surprising. Emma was the such a good compliment to Mason, and gained such strength in this book. Every page was filled with intensity; I was tightly strung waiting for the building pressure to explode. And when the end came, it just didn’t seem like enough. I was sad to know that I would have to leave Emma, Mason, and all the other characters behind so quickly. I am filled with hope that maybe one day Author J. M. LaRocca will give us another look at this series. “Come to me Mason. Let me be your distraction.”

SAM'S REVIEW4 STARSSo, book one Professor Cline- Revealed left me with so many freaking questions I NEEDED answers to! Like, I found myself going insane because I couldn't stop thinking about them! Diving into this second book in the series had me twitching to skim as much as possible just to get the answers, but I didn't! And I stuck with it! Which is something I am so thankful for.In this book, Mason is opened up even more for the reader, and finding out so many things we didn't know was the icing on the cake for me! J.M. LaRocca has written Mason's turmoil, pain and suffering so beautifully that I was absolutely captured by it and felt so deeply for his character.Emma's strength really shines through in this book even more than the first, and I'm kind of in love with her, SERIOUSLY! At times, I seriously thought that she wouldn't be able to handle things as the story progresses, but that girl is a trooper, a rock and clearly dealt with things how ANY woman would want to! Some of the scenes were hard to read, and I did find myself taking a break when it got a little too much for my heart to take. But when that happened, I still couldn't stop thinking about this book!!Now, that ending! I'm a greedy reader. And I also want to see a beautiful HEA. This story finished waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too abruptly for my liking! It got to the final page and I wanted to scream my house down because I just felt like something was missing! You know when that happens, and you keep turning the page like "WHERE ARE THE WORDS DAMMIT" yeah, that was me! I feel like I had an over on the majority or readers who had to wait so long for book two, because I got to read these babies back to back which for readers thinking about buying these books, you'll totally understand what I mean when you dive into book 1 followed very quickly by book 2!! Overall, I really enjoyed this series! The author has a unique writing style and the depth that she brought to Mason's character was just FANTASTIC! If you LOVE Teacher/Student Romances that have that seriously dark edge and storyline, these books are 100% for you!

I have been not so patiently waiting to find out what happens to Mason and Emma. In book one you learn that Emma is coming from a bad break up with a man who keeps appearing in her social circles. She is going to college taking law classes from Professor Mason Cline. Soon they decide to “date” and she will learn only the first layer of secrets Mason has when he is with women.Mason carries not only baggage from his past; every second of his day is shrouded in the massive mess of his family. When his natural desire to care and protect is constantly at war with John’s expectation to take advantage and use people for his own good, Mason begins to take steps to get out of his family’s shadow and influence. In Professor Cline Redeemed we find out more of what he has been hiding and how he plans to avenge his past and those who were hurt in the process. Step one, he must keep Emma at a distance so she is protected from the evil he is about to dig back up. Step two, pray she forgives him and will accept him once he tells her what makes him tick. Step three; hope she will understand where those scars on his body came from. If he can get those things to happen, he might have a happy ever after. But he also wants revenge and justice.Emma, being clueless to the facts, begins to make assumptions as to what is going on with Mason. No matter how hard her head tells her to move on, her heart reminds her that she feels something for him. If they get caught while she is in his class, he won’t have a problem but she can lose her future. She knows he broke some of his own rules to be with her and some things she has witness has left her feeling fearful, but once again the heart knows what the heart wants. Can she see Mason as the man he is and accept him or will she forever see every man through the filter of her ex who cheated on her and left her feeling damaged?I LOVE this series and the characters. J.M. LaRocca writes a story that will keep you in suspense and tear at your heart in the process. The writing style is smooth and will sweep you up in the story from the first chapter, never releasing you till you have turned the last page.

4 STARS(Read and Reviewed for FMR Book Grind)

I jumped right into Professor Cline Redeemed after the jaw dropping conclusion to the first book. You one hundred percent need to read that first so you can follow all the dark and twisty turns this part of the series takes. Thank goodness this one picks up right where the last one dropped off because I had to know what was next in the Emma and Mason saga.Emma is crestfallen over the way Mason had treated her when she saw his self-destruction firsthand. But her strength and stubbornness shine through because she refuses to back down from following her dream. As she shifts her focus back to her classes, Mason decides that he needs to do something- he's absolutely miserable without her. He isn't a guy who apologizes ever. He dug his grave and he knows he's gonna have to dig even harder to get himself out of it! I liked seeing his softer side as he tried to make it up to Emma. All is going well until that pest from the past that just won't go away shows back up making more demands of Mason. Which causes him to shut down and everyone out. He does, however, come up with a plan to set himself free of the chains that are keeping him tethered to the past.I was so wrapped up in the story at this point that when I glanced down and saw that I was at 93% I had to check and make sure there wasn't another book that I was missing- there isn't. While everything does wrap up, I feel that the ending was extremely rushed. I wanted so much more of the actual plan and fall out. I wanted reaction from Emma and Mason and to see some of them getting to know each other without all of the secrets between them. That being said, I was thrilled that Emma's kind and tender heart didn't change with everything that was happening around her. Her sass brought Mason to his knees and forced him to man up. J.M. LaRocca took me for quite the ride with this series. It was a whirlwind of events and emotions. Mason and Emma proved that no matter how much the odds may be stacked against you, if you want it bad enough, and work hard enough, you can make it happen.

This is the conclusion to the Professor Series and I must say that I was unbelievably sad to see Mason and Emma’s story come to an end. JM created a character in Mason Cline that was the epitome of messed up and beautiful all in one. Struggling with the darkness of his past and trying to live his life as if he held all of the control, he was bound to fall… but who would be there to catch him, to make him realize that he was worth redemption? Book one leaves us hanging a little, we are left wondering if he would come to terms with what his life had become before it’s too late. Or will he see the light of redemption? JM keeps you on your toes with the conclusion of this suspenseful, dark, soulful love story. And, if you like surprising twists and turns, JM will deliver. There were times when I was reading and literally had to stop just to comprehend the blow she just delivered. Mason is a character that is deeply flawed in the most imperfect way. On the outside he has it all, looks, money, prestige… but on the inside, he is drowning in his own demons, trying to fight his way to the light. It is very emotion and heart-wrenching to witness. Emma, well Emma has become one of my favorite leading ladies. In book two, she is so strong and empowering for women, she is strong-willed in the sense that she is not going to let Mason off easy, she plans to make him fight for her to fight for them, and to fight for himself. Their relationship has so many struggles but it is worth the wait to see if they can overcome it. The supporting cast brought life to story just as much as the two leading characters did. I enjoyed the way they all played into the story and personally wouldn’t mind seeing a couple spin-offs (hint hint). JM is one of my favorite authors, her writing style is crisp and easy to follow, yet very unique in the way she draws you in. The Professor Series is a must read and Professor Cline Redeemed is definitely a five star read. Reviewed by Tonya Nichols @ Eye Candy Bookstore

Redemption is a hard road paved in pain. And this book tells a story that is both painful and redeeming. The darkness that we had a big gulp of in part one is explored here in all its ugly glory. With a very flowing writing style, the pages go fast as Professor Cline tries to combat the addiction to self-destruction he carries within himself along with the monstrous acts he committed in the past. I have to confess that some of his acts are far from redeemable, but at least he's always been punishing himself for them, so remorse should count for something.Emma reveals herself as strong, loyal and hopeful. At first, there are not enough scenes with them interacting, but it's for a good reason as Mason is plotting a way to free himself from the other monsters that still lurk around him, and also coming to terms with the possibility of accepting himself. Of course, no need to cry because there is a healthy dose of steamy encounters that will leave you breathless and happy. There is one thing I had a minor problem with. Both main characters go through certain events, then replay them in their minds and also relate them to friends. That seemed a bit repetitive and slowed down the pace.Again, I really enjoyed the alternating chapters between past and present. They're dripping with dirty secrets and a darkness that taints Mason in endless, painful ways. As he tries to find freedom, the secrets keep piling on top of him. Wow. The emotions are devastating. I was astounded and horrified. No wonder he's such a complex, twisted character. He's also desperate for a way out and I'm so in favour for him getting his happily ever after. This is not a traditional romance, there are no big words of love or promises of perfection. It's a dark journey or redemption and survival that is attainable thanks to the healing power of human connection.I'm so glad I met you, Professor Cline!First reviewed on Literaria http://sede-literaria.blogspot.com.es/

**I recieved an ARC by the author for an honest review! 3-3.5 stars! I was going to give this book 4 stars until the middle to the end of the of the book. It started off great for me and it really went downhill after that. Since the first book was a little disappointing, I was hoping that this would make up for it.This book starts of after the cliffhanger leaves us with in book 1. Professor cline is still as haunted of his past as he was before. I do feel really bad for him because he went through so much as a kid and no kid should ever be put into what he was."I wasn't always like this. Dark. Malicious. Empty."There were a lot of twists and turns in this book that I wasn't and at the same time, was expecting. I liked that at some points it kept me on my toes but otherwise this book was going to go downhill, fast. There was a lot that the 2 would have to overcome together in order to be happy. This is a forbidden romance at it's finest. Probably one of the better ones than I've read."Do you ever wonder what your life might have been like if you had made a different choice?"Overall, the writing wasn't bad but I would have wanted more character development. Other than that congrats to JM for the release!!☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Follow my:● Blog ● Facebook For more posts!

Read more reviews at A Lust for Reading. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review. This is the second and final book in The Professor series from J.M. La Rocca. You must read book one, Professor Cline: Revealed, first! Secrets will be revealed, questions will finally be answered and lives just may be splintered apart.I have been anxious to get my greedy hands on this book from the moment I finished the first one. I fell in love with Mason back in Professor Cline: Revealed, with his dominating sexy ways and shattered soul. That love only grew more here. I wanted him to have his wicked way with me, over and over again, and then I just wanted to wrap him up in my arms and hug the fuck out of him. If any man needs a good hug, it's him. My heart broke for all he has endured and for all the pain he has hidden from the world.I was impressed with Emma as the story unfolded. Mason continued to hold his secrets close but she didn't let that deter her from trying to get to know him better. And as she slowly faced more of his truths, she stood by him. They really were great for each other and being with Emma finally gave Mason the strength he needed to come clean and start to make things right. I only wish that we had a meatier ending. After all the build up to this point, it all wrapped up a bit abruptly for me.Overall this was an excellent duology that hooked me from the first word of the first book until the very end. La Rocca continues to write stories that spark both intrigue and desire and makes her a go to author for me.

Received a copy in exchange for an honest review“I could feel the intensity of her stare earlier in class, and even though I tried to abstain from looking at her, I’d caved. When our eyes met, it was like she was trying to see through me, trying to break down my walls. I both hated and relished the way it made me feel.”5 totally worthy stars!! Wow, what an ending!! This series is one of my favorites that’s for sure!!! I loved this book just as much and book 1.18+ due to sexual content and language. This is the sequel and final book to The Professor Series. The past never stays in the past. The pain, guilt, and darkness still flow through my veins and itch to come out. I’m not proud of my secrets, but I have never felt shame either…until her.Emma makes me feel things I thought I’d become immune to. She makes me want to see light, to rid myself of my demons and it terrifies me.There is so much from my past she doesn’t know. I told her I wasn’t good for her, that I’d ruin her, and I vowed to stay away. But I can’t get her off my mind.I need her.I need her in more ways than I knew were possible for me.She is my saving grace and I’m ready for redemption. This book in the conclusion to the two book series! Mason is still dealing with his demons and Emma is trying to determine if she wants to be with him or forget him and move on. All answers to everyone’s questions are answered with this book! I was sucked into this series and I don’t regret it one bit! Great series and great author!! I’m a fan!!**Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. Continuation and resolution….Mason Cline and Emmalynn Blake are professor and student but their relationship is a lot more complex than that. This is the sequel in a two-book series that continues ably on from the first instalment. You will definitely want to read them in order as one builds on the other. There is a lot going on in this story as the romance between the two is intertwined with Mason’s struggle to move forward from his haunting past. Told from alternating points of view, secrets continue to be revealed as Mason shares more painful memories that further explain his current actions. The façade of his existence continues to be peeled away and how he deals with it is a raw, honest outlet for his emotions. Definitely disturbing, you can feel the struggle he goes through along with the guilt and shame that come with it. Emma is still trying to find her way in the relationship they have, not fully understanding what drives Mason’s actions at times. I read the story always waiting for the next shoe to drop as the tension continued to build throughout.I enjoyed the tying up of loose ends though the ending, for me, was rather matter of fact and abrupt given the slow, methodical buildup to the end. I have the answers but am left with a vaguely unsatisfied feeling. Overall, a well-written story with a different flavor and twists which will have me looking for more from this author.

Professor Cline: Redeemed is the sequel, I have been waiting for. As addicting as Professor Cline: Revealed, I couldn’t wait to read this sequel. This book is as dirty as the first book, with the same disturbing scenes to read through. This is another fast pace book, that will let you see into the mind of Mason. Mason’s childhood was as f**ked up as it could be and having Emma around made him feel balance. Anytime Emma was around, he felt some kind of happiness and of course he enjoyed not only her company but being inside her most. Their sexual chemistry was off the charts and I love how much Emma started to grow in this book. Emma started to control, to fight for what she wants. The more she pushes to know Mason, the more he opened up to her. As the first book introduced us to Mason’s messed up life and mind, this book shows up his redemption. In this story Mason fights his demons the best he knew how and with Emma’s help, he felt stronger. Knowing that no matter how messed up, he was, there’s someone that actually cared about him and his well being. More and more Mason fought harder to bring down the people that made him the way he is and take down the dirty empire they created. Will Mason survive the fight for redemption? Will he and Emma have a chance of true happiness. Read and find out, because this is one hell of a ride.:::REVIEW IS ALSO ON FOUR CHICKS FLIPPING PAGES:::http://fourchicksflippingpages.weebly...
