Review copy provided viaREADING ALLEYin exchange for an honest review.Unique Exotic Twist To Fake Girlfriend/Boyfriend Storyline.Melanie Drake wants to become a Belly Dance Divas very very badly but what stops her is fear. If she does not make it through the auditions, she will have absolutely nothing left to hold on to and will end up becoming exactly like her bitter mother. She is extremely talented but deep fear of losing is her main obstacle. So when Tazarian ‘Taz’ Roman, a renowned drummer and part of the Belly Dance Divas, needs a live-in girlfriend to get his sister off his back in exchange of giving her tips and tricks to nail the audition, Melanie is sorely tempted even though she does not like him nor trusts him. The problem: Knowing him in the short period of time, their chemistry is undeniable and her feelings have turned real. What to do when the famous Taz The Romancer might not be interested in her the same way and when she makes the biggest blunder of her life?DANCE WITH ME is an intriguing story about a belly dancer and a drummer. Though the premise is familiar of pretend girlfriend/boyfriend falling in love, the setting is very different. Unique. To begin off, I did not like Melanie at all. She is rude, arrogant and quick to judge. Each and every of her observations and pre-conceived notions about Taz are wrong. He is one gem of a person. I know Ms. Cameron tried to show him to be a playboy but when we go through his POV, we see amazing depth and logic behind his personality. To say Melanie made me angry due to her actions and how she treated Taz is an understatement and there was a point I did not want her with him. He deserved better. But their chemistry, their first impromptu performance to their first kiss, is undeniably off the charts. So why did I continue reading? Due to Taz and the setting. Oh my. I could not put it down; it was so mesmerizing. I read DANCE WITH ME in one straight sitting. Not even a lunch or tea break. The only thing which softened my attitude towards Melanie was how she finally realized her mistake and redeemed herself. One of the most heart-breaking scenes in this book. There were some issues I have with the plotline and some subplots but can be overlooked. What totally nailed this book for me was the epilogue. It is loveeeee! The visualization and the setting; *whoosh*. This was the best scene in the book, in my honest opinion. I could actually hear the pounds of the drumbeat and the twinkling movements of the dance and see them while reading it. And this is why I will say; Do give this book a try if want to read something different, exotic and sizzling hot.

The Dancer and the Rockstar Drummer in the Belly Dance world. This shorter length contemporary romance is the second in the California Belly Dance series. I liked it a lot. The characters were quite believable, the history of their craft as well as the performance were equally important to both of them. The heroine Melanie wants to join a belly-dancing troupe but is afraid to fail. The hero Taz is a drummer with the belly-dancing troupe, and one of the judges in the auditions. He offers to help Melanie in return for her help with his interfering sister. I also loved that when Melanie is caught unaware, and is convinced to dance for Taz in a non-audition setting - she absolutely nails it. His music is just as important as her dancing, just love it.His historical Hollywood moderne house is amazing. I loved that the vintage belly dancing movies of Samial Gamal were a huge part of the story, in fact featuring strongly in their dates. I received a complimentary copy from Reading Alley in return for an honest review. I want to read the first novella in the California Belly Dance series, and look forward to reading more in this series.

Dance With MeI received a free copy from READING ALLEY for my honest review.I really enjoyed this book! It had me laughing out loud in some parts. Watching the two main characters learn that there is more not only to the other but to themselves while letting the snarky flow was fun. This story seemed like a Pride and Prejudice in the Belly Dancing world. You find yourself involved with the main characters even when you try to stay objective. Kudos to the author for that. The pace of this story was wonderful. Just fast enough to keep you hooked and yet not so fast that the deeper feelings of the characters and story line get lost in the rush. The author is able to draw you into the emotion and actions for the characters and the dancing as well, not an overly easy task, without sounding trite or breezing through it. I would definitely recommend this book to other readers. While this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone without losing the story line. My only disappointment is I missed reading the first book.

FUN READI received a free copy from READING ALLEY for my honest reviewI absolutely loved this book. what an engaging story, very original. read it in one sitting, I couldn't put it downnow I want to learn about belly dancing and Samia Gamal.while Melanie was watching the movies, I was watching them with her lolMelanie is a no nonsense girl, love her attitude. she's very driven to succeed; but afraid to fail. she is an amazing dancer and wants to join a belly dance troupe but hasn't filled out the application as she is afraid. In comes Taz who is a world famous musician - he needs a fake girlfriend to keep his sister from meddling in his life more than she already does. Melanie and Taz come to an agreement, she'll be the fake girlfriend and he'll help critique her routine so she can audition and have a better chance at her audition. soon they're not pretending anymoretheir chemistry is off the charts, they're perfect for each other and it shows when he plays his drum and she dancesI would love a follow up of them. this story is a definite keeper for me

In the story, Melanie helps her friend Abby (from the Author’s last book) in the Shimmy Shop and Dance Studio. She wants to audition to become a member of the Belly Dance Divas dance troupe. Taz Roman is extremely handsome and an excellent drum player. He’s also a member of the dance troupe and someone that Melanie initially doesn’t like. The majority of the story is written in Melanie’s point of view. The descriptions of her emotions and her dialog seem so real that it was easy to relate to her and get inside her head. Since I’m a guy, that was really fun.The story revolves around Melanie and Taz and becomes a fantastic romance. I found myself wishing, many times in the book, that I could dance with Melanie.

I found the fast-paced DANCE FOR ME an engaging follow-up to SHIMMY FOR ME. It contained two villains that actually made me fume! My heart went out to the hero and heroine (and wee Spike!), and the ending was entirely satisfying. I don’t know much about belly dancing, tribal music or Samial Gamal movies, but I loved learning about it all. Can’t wait for the next book! I’d recommend this novel for anyone looking for a quick but gratifying romance (sex scenes rated: mild) with characters whose passion for music and dance I will remember for a long time.

Lighthearted and funDance with me is a lighthearted and fun read. Not only are the characters witty and well-written, but nearly everyone has an annoying and meddlesome relative JUST LIKE Taz Roman's sister (I know I sure do!).The story is well paced and easy to relate to even if you are not a dancer or a drummer. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a lighthearted read.Review copy provided via Reading Alley in exchange for an honest review.

2.5/5.0In this short contemporary romance, the relationship that Taz has with his sister and Melanie with her mother is crystal clear, and it is through those interactions that the reader learns of the main characters' personality traits.Read full review in the 2015 November issue of InD'tale Magazine.

I enjoyed this romance that is centered around belly dancers. I gave it a 4.5* rating. The main characters drew me into the story and pulled me along. It made me laugh and cry and feel a lot of in between emotions. It made me want to dance. It made me want to be less judgemental and get to know the people around me a little bit more. A nice HEA ending.
