After a respite in Iran and the fragmentation of the family, Witold and his sisters were brought to New Zealand in November 1944, among the 733 Polish children who came to live in the Polish Children’s Camp in Pahiatua. While a new life in New Zealand beckoned, it was just the beginning. Witold tells their story as they lived, loved and worked to become Polish Kiwis....
