Completely and utterly terrible. There's nothing here aside from inept writing, horrible grammar, and a big, hairy, sweaty guy who wants to be loved. He has a crush on James, James has a crush right back, and it's mediocre sex and instalove for our civilized sasquatch and his prince charming. And seriously, that writing.

A real shame that this story is only a few pages long, Bear characters are one of my favorites. I really like the 2 characters and I wish it was longer.

5 Twinkling Stars.Fucking loved this book for three very big reasons:1. It was free2. The author’s writing style and characters voice3. It was fucking hotIt’s not everyday that you get some of this in a book: (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)]From the start of this book, even though it was short, I loved, and absolutely adored Sean. I just wanted to take him myself and say that it’s okay to want something different from the norm. i.e. Being a daddy!I must admit, I was bummed when the book finished. I wanted to read more of James and Sean but I guess I’ll just have to let my imagination make up the rest. :D["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I'm all for an insecure man getting some love, but the writing here was a little erratic and the fact that the entire story focused on the dude's appearance was a little off-putting. I literally know nothing about his personality; all I know is that he's hairy and sweaty and wants to be loved.

Short and sweetThere are editing errors, there for their, where for were, but I liked Sean's character very much, as well as James. I wish for a longer version, to hear about the bet, for example

Not a fan of big hairy boys and pit licking. Entertaining though.

Ugh. Another book that somehow wound up on my Kindle. It's utter garbage with no real sense of plot or reasoning.

I loved Sean, he was sweet and hot and I loved that he got his man. Enjoyable short story but it could use a good edit.

Short story, really. It has its value, as I'm not really into "hairy"-romance, but the author's style made it friendly. Due to the lenght of the story, many parts were haphazard and undeveloped, which is why I only give it two stars, but I do think this has potential. The mistakes in the editing were evident and should really be looked over and corrected.

Short, sweet, and sexy. Though this story was short it was fully packed. Sean and James prove you can get what you really want.

Review: Gotta Start Somewhere by Bronwyn HeeleySo this is my first read for the day. And it is a very short story. A very, very HOT! short story from author Bronwyn Heeley. This is about Sean. A bear of a man who always hated going to clubs for obvious reasons: being hairy meant easily getting hot and sweaty in a crowded room where the lack of air circulating only causes the heat to rise. He also really did not look forward to a life of just doing one-sit-acquaintance-thingies in the dark. Unfortunately, he had to be where he was now, sweat and all, in a room full of men, because he lost a bet. Truth is, whether he liked it or not, he was physically attractive because of his size and hairiness, amongst other things. Then there is James. He broke up with his partner because said partner had changed in so many ways. So now was his chance to finally make a move on Sean. But, making a move is all well said and done - getting accepted by Sean was another matter. Especially since Sean is a bear of a man and James' type are twinks. The blurb really says it all. This story happens in one night but the backstory, the ongoing one and the future was written in such a way that made me dream of an instalment. What happens after that great night? What angst or drama would rise to complicate their budding relationship? Will the ex come back and start a triangle war? So many questions arose from just 18 pages of great, fast reading.Super HOT!, fast, short and light read that leaves you wanting for more of Sean and James.

There were typos and homonyms which I found distracting. I understood what was being written, but those took my out of the story a little bit each time.I enjoy a story where outward appearance doesn't dictate a person's preferences. What happened where James and Tim used to live that caused them 1) to leave that place 2) Tim to start waxing himself smooth? Would that explain anything about James and his former relationship? What was the point of the green vests that Sean and his buddies are wearing? It seems to be significant, but I never go what the significance was.It seems that James is close enough to Sean, that he is part of the group of friends with whom Sean goes to the nightclub, but Sean didn't know about the breakup.

A short story with a good premise of the guy who is stereotyped based on his size and appearance and has become jaded. His friend stages an intervention to get closer to him - not sure why they had to do it like that, a night in would have worked! It was OK, some punctuation, grammar, sentence construction and overuse of commas did actually get in the way a bit.The author does say it is a blog story used as a self-pub test so taken in that light it was fine.

An entertaining short read, I would love this to be a little longer with more/ in depth MC interaction. If you did like this, and you are curious about this author, I'd suggest you get your hands on "Love Without Knowing It". Such a good read!
