Meredith Into the Fire (Meredith, #3) Reviews
Full review @ https://aprillwood.wordpress.com/2015...“She felt that the universe had thrown her and Shane together for a reason; why else would they have been crossing paths since the beginning of their journey?”Meredith yearns for the security and stability of a marriage. She believes that her and Chef Shane Thayer continue to cross paths for a reason; It must be fate! Unfortunately, her and Shane are the only ones who believe their relationship can work out.Grasping at straws to achieve some form of normalcy, Meredith is willing to settle for someone who might not be right for her. Met with warnings from her best friend and both sides of one another’s family, ever headstrong, Meredith goes through with planning her wedding, anyways. She tries her best to impress her fiance’s parents, but they cannot be won over.Meredith jumps out of the frying pan, and into the fire…My Thoughts:If you have read my book reviews for book 1 & 2 of the Meredith series, you know I am a HUGE fan of Meredith. I just couldn’t possibly like her anymore than I do now! And book 3, like the others, gets another 5 star rating!I felt so bad for Meredith in this installment. She literally is jumping out of the frying pan, and into the fire, which is urban slang for leaving a bad situation, only to get into another bad situation. For instance, she left her controlling boyfriend Wes, and entered into a relationship with Shane, a man she isn’t even sure she’s in love with! Why, you might ask… well that is Meredith, and I think she needs male companionship to feel emotionally secure.Holy cliff hanger! The ending was just, wow… I was pleasantly surprised! I cannot wait to read what happens next!!Favorite Scene:When Meredith compared Wes and Shane to roosters! That was hilarious! :)I couldn’t breathe when she looked out the window and discovered Shane across the street. He really did have a lot of nerve! As if it wasn’t awkward enough already! The Meredith series is full of drama and excitement! I’d recommend this series to anyone who enjoys women’s fiction!***In the interest of full disclosure, I received a copy of Meredith Into The Flames, in exchange for a fair, honest, and thoughtful book review. This is no way swayed my rating.
Meredith Into the Fire (Book 3) by Amanda GaleMeredith is determined to never feel heart ache again. As she tries to carry on a less than perfect life she runs across Chef Shane Thayer. She first met him on his failed television show over a year ago. They have absolutely nothing in common but she decides to start a relationship with him.Slowly Meredith's life starts to spin out of control. Her unusual relationship with Shane has her second guessing what she really wants out of life. Her troubles at work are lingering in the air. Nothing is as it used to be. Will she be able to accept and handle the changes in her life?Meredith has changed after her last break up. She is starting to rediscover herself, and her life choices. She does things differently, unsure if it is the right thing to do. She takes chances she (probably) would never have done before. Even though her friends and family advise against it, she is determined to find out for herself. She finally has taken enough heartache and bad luck thrown her way. Will she make the right decisions? Is Shane the answer she is desperately seeking? Will she be able to pull it all together? I highly recommend Meredith Into the Fire to those who love a great dramatic (romance) filled with emotions. I also recommend reading the first two books in the series; Meredith Out of the Darkness and Meredith Against the Wind. I look forward to seeing how it all turns out (for Meredith) in book four Meredith With the Waves.
