This is the start of the spin-off series from the Broken series, you don't need to read the Broken series to get a feel for this book, although you see some of the characters from the other series. Stone I loved the thoughts he had, "she gave me a long list of vegetables and crap to put on the salad and then asked for oil and vinegar in lieu of dressing. The girl needed to eat a burger and fries, but I kept my opinion to myself." There was a bathroom scene where Stone was erm... letting off some tension and well Ember of course had to walk in and I loved her reaction, "is everything okay? I thought I heard you - oh s***!" Ember opened the door and caught me in all my glory. She apologized but her gaze never left my shaft. Instead, she stood there with the door open, wide-eyed at what I'd figure was a traumatizing image before her." Stone he's all for his girl he's like a damn caveman at times, "yeah, I'll jump in the shower," he said, getting up out of the recliner. When he passed me, he stopped to whisper in my ear. "You look so hot." I can't wait to see what's next for this series.

This book needs editing. This book also needs less description of what people are wearing/doing. I don't mind some but I didn't need every single step the female MC took before going on a run. Also the book just sort of abruptly ends. Trope trope bam over. No thank you.

Crazy Dreams by Dawn Pendleton is the first book in her Dreams series. A beautiful, bittersweet romance story that takes you through the entire rollercoaster ride from the meet-cute, to the falling in love, the horrible misunderstanding and break-up and the eventual (Phew) reconciliation.Stone has always dreamed of being a country music star and is working hard towards that goal. He is staying with his friend Dallas and when Dallas's sort-of sister is coming to visit when Dallas has to be out of the country on assignment, Stone gets to pick her up from the airport.Ember has never wanted the life she has but has never truly been able to tell her mother no. Modeling is what she does until her one true best friend and half-sister Rainey dies from cancer. Finding it hard to get herself back to normal after her tragic loss she decides to visit Dallas, Rainey's half-brother in Nashville to take the summer off.Of course, this is where the meet cute comes in. While the story is not unique, what romance truly can claim to be. It's all the same essential plot with few exceptions. The telling of Stone and Ember's story is phenomenal. Dawn Pendleton does a wonderful job of making you care about her characters and what happens to them.

Crazy Dreams, the title refers to the dreams of Stone to become a country song composer and singer. Ember is his roommate's sister's sister and comes to visit for the summer after the death of the sister. Dallas is called away on business out of the country, so Stone and Ember are sharing the apartment together alone. They are instantly attracted to each other and Stone fights it because he promised Dallas he would leave Ember alone but Ember has other ideas. Ember also has a fantastic voice and when Stone writes a new song inspired by Ember they begin singing it together. They get a chance to sing it in a club, get a contract to record it and go on tour. Ember is offered a singles contract if she will dump Stone and through a misunderstanding he leaves her on tour. It takes both her brothers to get these two to communicate and work out the problem when Stone only heard part of what Ember had to say.Stone and Ember faced lots of opposition from her brothers, the record company manipulations and not communicating and talking to each other about what they really wanted and getting together on mutual goals and priorities. Sounds like lots of normal people with everyday problems in a developing relationship and was an enjoyable story.

Crazy dreams is about a small town northern boy coming to Nashville to write/play music. He's not necessarily hell bent on being a star, just wants to get his work out there. His roommate allows his sister to come to vist. His sister is a model who hates modeling. She's looking for anything to call her own and find her place in the world after the death of her sister. The two collide, bond musically and emotionally. Where the book is a little unbelievable is day one they are already physical and then the story line shifts when the brother gets upset that his roommate has the hots for his sister and kicks him out. Then the characters won't or don't sleep together till they are in love. I found it hard to believe and the story line a little lacking. It was a free book and I am one those that no matter what my immediate opinions or thoughts are feel obligated to continue reading until the end. If you were paying money for this book, it wouldn't be my top recommendation. However, all in all, it wasn't terrible.

Yay!! Another fantastic book by Dawn... Crazy dream was a super fun and fast read. Who doesn't love a good book about music. Stone has always wanted to be a music star so he tried his luck out Nashville. Ember wanted to get away for the summer before she started college so she traveled from amine to Nashville to stay with her brother. She never thought that she would fall head over heals for her brother Dallas' roommate Stone. But boy did they make beautiful music together maybe a little too much. Will Stone still get his dream to become a star or will he win Ember's heart..... this book is going to be the start of a fabulous new series.I was given a copy of this book to read and review for an honest opinion.

Loved....Loved...Loved Crazy Dreams!! Crazy Dreams was the first book in the Dreams series by Dawn Pendleton. The Dreams series is a spin-off of the Broken series also by Dawn Pendleton which was an amazing series. This storyline was well developed and very well written. Loved the chemistry between Stone & Ember, and I also loved seeing the characters from the Broken series making an appearance in this series. Can't wait to read book two and three and see what Dawn has in store for Dallas & Baker!!

I liked that this book was not overly dramatic and depressing. The book is sweet and sassy from start to finish. I thought Stone and Ember were really well developed characters and that their joining together was funny and honest. Dallas and Baker do their best to prevent Stone and Ember's budding romance and are good secondary characters. The book was an easy story to follow and I enjoyed it. The dialogue between the characters was definitely realistic and tangible. I look forward to seeing where the story goes next.

This book was definitely a quick read with a happy ending but other than some insane chemistry between Stone and Ember (super weird names, by the way) it don't have much going for it. I never understood the relationship between all the characters and there were too many characters for such a short book. Maybe reading the Broken series first would have been helpful. Time also sped by pretty quickly and seemed like there was a lot of plot development missing.

Even 2stars might be a bit generous. The book started out ok, but then the characters really got on my nerves. The grammar errors and the timing towards the end of the book annoyed me as well. I finished the story but it was tough!

Cute, quick read. The main characters are 19 and 22...I generally have a problem reading about people younger than 25 finding the "love of their life" but the writing was good, and I thought the author stayed true to how a person at that age handled things.

This was a sweet book. The characters were very likeable. My only issue was how rushed it felt at times. Otherwise, I will be picking up the other two in the series.

DNF. Boring, writing was clumsy (telling instead of showing), predictable and so many punctuation/typephase mistakes it was distracting.

its a little slow and too much talking about feelings for me. I got the gist of it without explaining it over and over with each character
