Actually this is a 3 1/2 stars, but I rounded it up!Even if it still have all the problems the previous books had, the writing has improved and the problems are less evident. The switch between one emotion and the complete opposite is still there, but it is not so often any more.I liked the heroine, Kara, better. She's young, stubborn and convinced that she knows better than anybody, but she's also intelligent enough to actually liasten and change her idea. That she was an actual warrior is a big plus. I wans't asking myself what the hero, Aaron, saw in her - I could see it by myself! ;)While in the previous book I thougt Aaron a supreme ass, here I liked him even better than the heros of the previous books. I think because being an ass previously, and having reached the point where he himself realized that he's an ass and start redeming himself, he was much more human than the others.I hope Ms. Rand will continue improving and will eliminate at all the abrupt behaviour switch, while maintaining the feel of the period. :)

This is the third book in Violetta Rand’s Blind series and Aaron McNally’s story. I admit that when I started reading this book, I had serious doubts that Ms Rand could adequately redeem Aaron in my eyes. I don’t want to spoil Blind Mercy for those who haven’t read it, but I’ll just say that Aaron’s acts of betrayal did seem unforgivable. Well, it’s confession time, because by the end of the book, Ms Rand not only redeemed Aaron but he became my favourite hero of the series.“Believe only in those things that draw you to his breast: strength, ferocity, magnitude, bravery, loyalty, victory, honesty, passion, and love.”Aaron’s decision to renounce Christianity and follow Odin’s laws seems to symbolise a cleansing of his soul enabling him to turn his life around. I began to see many redemptive qualities in him…his loyalty to King Olaf; his firm but fair treatment of his men; the way he rushes to aid Kara regardless of the danger; working on the improvements to his home; wanting to honour tradition and present himself to Kara’s father as a formal suitor. Aaron fears he will always be judged by his past sins when he faces the hostility and distrust of Kara’s father, Eric the Bold.Erik’s eyes flashed. “I’ve worked side-by-side with just about every sort of man, Jarl McNally. Criminals and saints. Pagans and Christians. Do you know what kind of man I have no tolerance for? An outcast who betrays his kinsman out of jealously and hate. Do you understand?”Kara has the strength, determination and heart of a true Viking warrior. I could just see her wielding that sword. It’s easy to see why she resents her lack of freedom and the need to conform to her father’s expectations. Her desire for independence and adventure sometimes causes her to act recklessly…Tomorrow? What if Erling killed her today? Kara stared heavenward. Where was the man she truly wanted? Please Odin. Send Aaron McNally to rescue me…I enjoyed how the romance develops allowing for some heated exchanges, a moonlight kiss, a touch of jealousy, a woodland tryst, bitter condemnations, a declaration of love, a romantic poem and a special wedding.Tyr and Rachelle (Blind Mercy) play an important role in this story and I was pleased to see the rift between Aaron and his cousin, Tyr, finally healed. The idea of a fierce warrior like Tyr playing matchmaker made me smile and the friendship between Kara and Rachelle was a nice touch too.Once again, Ms Rand provides fascinating glimpses of the Viking world. I loved the reference to the Norse names for the constellations and the story of how earth was created. I was also fascinated by the details of the Norse wedding. The plot had enough intrigue and action to keep my interest…kidnapping, betrayal, a dramatic rescue, a merciless villain and a revelation about one of the characters that I definitely didn’t see coming.BLIND REDEMPTION is another worthy and enjoyable addition to this exciting series.REVIEW RATING: 4.5 /5 StarsI would like to thank Violetta Rand for kindly providing me with a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Copy received from Reading Addiction Blog Tours for an honest review. The minute I saw Blind Redemption (Blind Series Book 3) by Violetta Rand I jumped at the chance to read it. This is the third book in the series but it is easily a standalone. I tend to think that the stories are more gratifying when they are read together but it wouldn’t make the story less enjoyable. The characteristics that I loved about Blind Mercy were also present in Blind Redemption. I loved the authors ease in unfolding the story and her writing style. The story instantly grabbed my attention. I also really enjoyed the characters. Kara Dalgaard was a fantastic heroine. She was strong, determined and admirable. Aaron McNally blew me away! It was hard to believe he was the same Aaron from Blind Mercy! I loved how the author really showed all sides of him! He truly was a perfect example of redemption! The story was also a perfect blend of strength and romance. I loved that one aspect didn’t overshadow the other! Kara and Aaron were perfect together! They were a perfect balance but they had just the right amount of tension! Finally, I loved learning about the Vikings! I really enjoyed seeing how they showed courage, and loyalty! I have only one regret and that is that I didn’t read Blind Allegiance first! I highly enjoyed and recommend this fantastic book! Anyone that likes to read about history, relationships, adventure, and mystery would love this great story! Is it too much to hope that there will be a fourth?

Political and emotional turmoil run rampant throughout this captivating novel. Rand’s writing is subtly intense. She draws you back in time while painting this world before you in vivid Technicolor. I love the way that Rand looks at Norse mythology and how she works it into the story. She doesn’t stop to explain things to her readers but rather shows them via the actions of the characters. It all combines into an amazing trip back in time. I love that the male lead is far from perfect and has a sordid past. At the same time, he knows it and is trying to get beyond it by working on who he is. His hot headedness leads to some entertaining moments and makes him an intriguing alpha-type lead. Combine this with a very opinionated, utterly uncouth warrior princess and you have the perfect cast for this tale. This is definitely the best in the series so far. I fell in love with the characters, the land, and the story. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys a historical romance, whether or not you’ve read the series. It can easily be read as a standalone, even if the background from the previous novels does give some extra context. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

Perfect Viking story of redemption and passion! Violetta Rand has done it again! BLIND REDEMPTION is a little gem to discover! This Viking romance is the story of Aaron McNally, who, if you read Blind Mercy, was banished from his clan for betrayal. It’s the journey of a man who needs a second chance to redeem himself, win back his honor and find a woman who will accept him, even with his past. This woman is Kara Dalgaard; she is no ordinary lady, she is the female version of a brave warrior and she loves her freedom! As Aaron and Kara meet, heat and lust spark between the two; they share a beautiful chemistry! I loved the plot well written and balanced with intrigue, adventure and danger. We meet again, some of previous characters, Tyr and Rachelle; this couple share a beautiful passion. Tyr will try to play matchmaker! Will Aaron share the same with Kara? Will she forgive his past mistakes and accept him in her life? Will Aaron get a second chance? Ms. Rand is very descriptive writer. I strongly recommend Blind Redemption if you love a well written Viking adventure.

Amazing Book! Violetta Rand is a incredibly talented writer who uses the Nose myths and people to the up most in her books. She brings her creativity to a head in this book the third in the Blind Series and now I think my I couldn't get enough of Kara's spunk.I really disliked Aaron in the second book for all the wrong choices he made and the bad stuff he did and it took me awhile to warm up to him in this one. You can really see what a changed man he has become since a man of Odin and since he had found Kara.I loved how Kara through Aaron for a loop time and time again in this one as she was one not to be tamed! got them both in to trouble all the time too and then they would have to rescue each other...lolThis book was amazing and I would recommend it to all who are Historical/Medieval Romance readers and any who love a great story with a tie to pagan gods like I do!

I received this book from the author, Violetta Rand, and from Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock. Blind Redemption is the third book in Blind Series but this book can be read as a standalone book as well. This book is based during the eleventh century about Vikings. This book starts off with Aaron making a very radical change to his life. The book then switches between following Aaron on his adventures and Kara, who you learn about later on in the book. Then of course their paths cross and sparks fly. The rest you need to read for yourself, as I don’t want to have any spoilers. This book was great. The characters are very approachable and draw the reader in. There is no confusion when switching from one character to another as with some books and the story flows very nicely. There were surprises that kept me reading. This is a book I would read again!I’m giving this book 4 fangs.

The Blind saga continues with another must read,My favorite of the series so far. If you pair a man who determined to regain his honor and a respectable standing in society with a spirited, headstrong heroine, a woman with the heart of a warrior and determination to follow her own path, you have the formula for an exciting literary adventure. Ms. Rand hit her mark with Aaron and Kara's story. Don't miss this book. While it stands alone, you will want to read the other two books in the series as well, Blind Allegiance and Blind Mercy. Kudos for a job well done. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Loved ThisI really enjoyed this book 3 of The Blind Series, Blind Redemption. Aaron McNally redeemed himself in this book with Kara. I loved their story. It was wonderful from start to finish. You will not be disappointed. The characters from book 2 were in this one. This book also had an epilogue, which the other two did not have. Kara is a warrior herself and her attitude challenges Aaron at times. I look forward to the 4th book in this series.

Not the best or worstThis is an unlikely story about a Scotsman loyal to the Viking King who has been made a Jarl and tasked with raising an army, yet he spends a great deal of time dealing with a hoyden called Kara, who has been caught by an enemy hiding out in the woods. In typical fashion he falls for the girl, who is a capable fighter, and gets the bad guy. So predictable you may snooze.

Fantastic!!#3 in the series, but can be read as a stand alone. Although, I'd suggest reading the others in this series, as well. Fast paced, adventure filled with passion, danger, suspense, lots of romance, drama and action. Highly recommended! Viking Romance fans are to sure love this fierce tale. Redemption and love is finally at hand for Aaron. A must read! Enchanting, wildly and wickedly seductive, and an awesome read! Another hit for Ms. Rand, who weaves an intricate and powerful tale of redemption, love, passion and romance into a brilliantly written Viking tale. Simply delicious!! Perfect for fans of Norse and Viking Romance with a touch of Scottish flare, legends and myths. Odin's blood this was a breathtaking tale!*Personal buy*Rating: 5Heat rating: HotReviewed by: AprilR

There was a scene where the word fragment was used where I was confused because It was probably used in error. The word fragrant would have fit well in that scene.I had on issue with tense inconsistency.Apart from that I found myself sucked into a world where a former villain for all intents and purposes finds his way to be honorable and find love. Its a little... sedate for a Viking novel to have that principle but sweet nonetheless.

really enjoyed this trilogy. and this one was becoming my favorite up until the wolf rescue..... yeah. That scene kinda killed it from me. I mean I'm all for wolves saving the day when reading sci-fi or a Lycan romance.....not so much in this format. It kinda screamed Disney cartoon to me. so yeah that kinda killed it for me.
