Sad Comics For Dirty Lovers Reviews
It includes Beehive Heart featuring Petra Magno. It's fucking sad.I don't have a lover but this comic book made me sad. I love you, Rob Cham.
Well let's begin by saying that it is sad. It's quite sad. Most of the stories compiled here, they're sad. All the same, most of them are rather inisghtful and hopeful for that matter. One line struck me the most, I believe it was from Mihk Vergara's My Favorite Christmas."Lose, and lose gracefully. Before you pick yourself or anyone up. So it's okay. It's okay you failed, it's okay to be angry, sad...it's done. Enjoy the view."Now if that wasn't poignant and poetic enough, I don't know what else is. Apart from that, the whole story Beehive Heart by Petra Magno makes this book worth it to be in your shelves. And then there's Rob Cham's entry himself Break Up 2013 and How I Live Now, both of which seems to be like a two-parter story. Every bit of this book is amazing and fantastic, and well sad. The illustrations alone are enough of a reason to own a copy. Accompanied by poetic stories that these illustrations come with, you won't regret getting it.
It is sad. And wonderful. Rob Cham + Petra Magno = GENIUS
