Have you ever thought about what it would be like to be famous? I have and I must tell you looking at the stories from the press I usually see I always look at the faces of the celebrities and think how happy they look or just how much of a show they are trying to put on for the world. Because behind the fancy clothes, killers smiles and acts of fame are actual people just like you and me. They hurt and get angry just like the rest of us, they have bad days and good days. But for their fans they are these major celebs and are seen more like dolls then humans. In the new Scarlet Wilson read she takes a look at the life of the famous Lexi. Only she is not famous for making it big time in any of the millions of entertainment areas out there. No, she is famous for being the ditsy daughter of her very own celebrity family. This of course makes it so much worse then being a celebrity based on something you did all on your own. People look at you to see if you will make it big time like your parents did , or will you become like most children to the famous, a washout that goes from party to party every day?So naturally I was delighted to discover that the author let's Lexi try to make her own way to the top. She does so by attempting to corner I'll operate on you all night long Dr Iain McKenzie. But Iain is not into her games and does not want to go from diamond in the rough to famous drool over me Dr. Lexi however is determined but, when her own secrets are threatening to spill out she needs to back down , if only she could bring herself to do it, pushing for the finish line is her end goal and backing down is not an option. I loved this story! It was really heartbreaking and very emotional and brought me to tears. I felt so extremely sorry for both characters and their past that I honestly wanted to reach out and hug them both just to let them know someone is there and someone cares. The character of Iain was a hero above hero's. His acceptance of "I deserve this pain" was very touching, wrong of course because the blame is not his, but it showed him as we all are. We want to blame ourselves just because it will help us to block any future pain, when we don't interact with others we cannot cause pain again and therefor we can continue to live in our own little world of hurt. The character of Lexi was a real go-getter, she has a fighting spirit because of her past yet, at the same time she's broken and just like a celebrity she hides her pain. It showed me that all celebrities are just human and they definitely do whatever they can to hide their hurt, whereas us non famous people might not worry about the tears that fall, they need to think about things such as " What if the press snaps me when I am crying? What will the headline be?. I am taking away a message of holding up a pretense simply to hide your pain is not what is needed, it is not the way to heal. Letting it all out and depending on others to help you through the hurt and anger might not completely heal the wounds but, with support you will be a lot closer to feeling normal again then if you were to hold it all back simply to try and show the world you are a "doll".I recommend this read for all fans of Scarlet Wilson reads, an emotional look into the life of being famous vs human. 4.5 star review " Behind the Hollywood smile hides a woman in pain"

200 Harley Street: Girl From The Red Carpet is by Scarlet Wilson. Lexi Robbins is determined to shake the image of her as the ditzy, daughter-of-a celebrity and make it on her own as the Head of PR at Hunter Clinic. She has worked hard to gain this position and is determined to keep it and to be taken seriously. She will not let a Scottish Surgeon make her fail. She needs an interview and some surgical footage with Iain MacKenzie to help the campaign to increase funds for Hunter Clinic. Iain MacKenzie is a Scottish surgeon who also happens to be extremely gruff and sexy at the same time. He is avoiding Lexi because he does not want to get caught up in publicity for this translates (to him) to close interaction with people. He prefers to keep himself aloof from things such as publicity. He would rather stick to his surgeries. What Lexi does not know is he is grieving for the death of his wife. He is giving his all to his surgeries and his patients. There is nothing left for anything else. He just wants to bury himself in his work. Lexi and Iain seem to have divergent reasons for taking their jobs seriously. What will happen if Lexi gets her way and pulls Iain out of his comfort zone and into the publicity venue? Will Lexi get her way or will Iain?
