The renowned lady’s man is completely out of his element as he feels the strong pull from just that one look. All his life he’s heard the fantastical story of what he likes to call ‘the family’s curse’. The legend the men call the lightning zap. Supposedly the Avery men have some sort of enlightening experience when they meet THE ONE. But Talon’s always known that wasn’t for him, and would never be. He had too much love to give and there were too many damn women in the world to share it with. Women adore him and he’s had the conquests to prove it. Now the hot shot star athlete finds himself in the precarious position of the one doing the chasing. Not that he plans on letting that shit go on for too long. He’s smooth and charismatic and saw no problem getting what he wants, as he always does. There was just one problem. No one remembered to tell him that finding THE ONE would turn him into a caveman who’d forget all basic common sense. Or the fact that modern day women didn’t really go for the ‘me man you woman’ brand of dating. It’s a fun bumpy ride as the over possessive Talon stakes his claim and tries to deal with the new jealous, obsessive man he’s become....

3 Smut Scale StarsWow. Okay. What to say.Well, the writing was...well, it's different. Not gonna lie, this thing needs some editing. Preferably from someone who knows when to use the word "worse" and when to use the word "worst," for example. And commas. This thing needs some commas...and basic sentence structure...and periods...and just punctuation in general, quite frankly. Lots of it.But I suppose it could have been worse...Oops. Aside from that, this story was all over the fucking place, the chapters were choppy, and the plot was, well, it was fucking ridiculous...And yet I still found myself enjoying it. Talon is legitimately nucking futs and the way he orders everyone around is completely unreal, but I still loved him.Skye was completely one dimensional with virtually no personality to speak of, and even then I didn't really care. I dug the OTT possessive vibe, the way Talon would do anything - seriously, ANYTHING - for Skye, and the way his crazy as fuck family backed him up on everything. Plus I just think I was in the mood for it.So if YOU are in the mood for a smutty, OTT possessive story, with ridiculous plot lines, a restraining order worthy hero - and you can overlook some pretty...interesting writing - this one's for you.

Buddy reread with Carvanz, my girl! Still one of the best (if not the best) books Boyfriend ever! Talon is the most alpha of all! When he see his Sky he is completely about her. Consumed by her! Everything he does and is is for her! I cant recommend this book enough. It's completely OTT!Everything he does and his every reaction is OVER THE TOP INSANE! But HOT! Re-read Oct 6th,2016------------------------Still LOVED this crazy Over the top hero who is so bloody honest, it's crazy!Imagine telling Skylar (the heroine, the love of his life) all the people he has had sex with!!! WHO DOES THAT?Talon that's who! He is honest and protective and most of the story is told from his POV. So the heroine is really overshadowed by the hero in this book. “Who died and made you boss?" She asked. "Nobody had to die for that shit, it just is what it is." He tells her.It may makes her appear weak, but I don't believe she is as she leaves her cheating fiancé to start over without her family support. Again if you are willing to overlook a few grammar mistakes and syntax errors, you might just ADORE THIS BOOK!Still a winner for me here!---------------Original Review-----------------June 26th 2016This was one very OTT hero! I mean really really possessive. He see her and that's it she is the one and no one else exist at all. He is on the hunt and he is stronger (mentally and physically) so his victory is assured. They have a crazy teen relationship full of drama and scary he said she said business. Normally I don't like this but somehow it worked. This may be due to the juvenile writing and the story line was a little underdeveloped. It fit in this story. Loved it and I would recommend it. Even if you are not a fan this story was sweet. Even loved the end. Wow imagine the big Jock doing that daddy duty! I am impressed. Awesome.

***WARNING*** Gif rant review ahead. When I saw this book, I thought I may possibly have found an undiscovered guilty pleasure author to explore. Reading the blurb, it sounds extremely similar to Aurora Rose Reynolds' Until series with the whole Boom scenario. You know, insta-love at it's finest? Boom. Zap. Same difference. The alpha hero who acts like a caveman at first sight of his woman is totally cheesy and unrealistic, but hey, sometimes you just want a predictable fun read that you can escape with. I didn't get that here. This book was bad. Bad, bad, bad. What the author was going for with the over-the-top caveman spiel missed the mark. The book started out okay, the school star athlete/manwhore/asshole sets eyes on the heroine across the football field and gets "zapped" by the family curse that has affected all the men in his family for generations. Seeing as he's been sampling women and setting them aside since he was 14, he was sure he would escape his unpleasant fate. He loves his one night only arrangement and he couldn't imagine getting possessive and out of control for one woman-it wasn't happening. Wrong. His stalker tendencies kick in by about 0.5 seconds and from that point on, every thought out of his head is a desperate need to get her realize she's his and she must agree or ELSE!!! Because of reasons, and she'd better recognize. When she had the audacity to go somewhere unannounced he almost broke a blood vessel and punched every poor idiot to cross his path. How dare she go to the Pharmacy for medication without consulting him?!?!Seriously now?wtf??? His anger issues were in need of some intense management. Maybe a straightjacket or some happy pills. He needs some help before he does some bodily harm. You know what else he needs? An actual vocabulary that includes words of intelligence. These are his two words and he's sticking with them. Throw in a couple of pronouns and verbs and you have his caveman speak.Fuck word count: 451Shit word count: 478Here's a word for him: REPETITIVE. It was like reading some variation of the same sentence over and over. AND OVER. Hey, I'm fine with cussing, whatever, but when there's absolutely no substance underneath all of it? I've read reviews before where people complained about this but this is honestly the first time I've experienced it first hand. It was ridiculous, people. And another thing...Actually, yes I did.Proper grammar was non-existant. It wasn't there. I searched for it, but it was like a mystical, fabled unicorn or Bigfoot or some shit. There were times I would find a comma every 25 pages or so. I felt like I hit the jackpot. The lack of punctuation, correct spelling, or correct sentence structure made for some confusing reading. So, I think it's safe to say that this book didn't work for me. My general response after about 10% into the book (in words that Talon would approve of):So...yeah. Not going there again.

Reread 5/4/2017 This is by far my favorite JS book. I've read this one probably 4 or 5 times. Not only is Talon the possessive type of H I love but there's some moments that make me lol throughout the story. Nonna is hysterical. Talon Avery is one of my favorite heroes in books. Will this book win literary awards? No, but I don't care. This man's brand of crazy, possessive, OTT alphaness (it's a word, i swear) is perfect to me. Once he sees Skyler, ow are not even on his radar unless he's pissed at them for being mean to his girl. Talon Takes over Sky's life but in a good way. Absolutely everything he does is to protect her and bring her happiness. Who wouldn't love a man like that. I love their banter and there are some lol moments too. Definitely my favorite by Jordan Silver. I have read this one multiple times and it just never gets old for me.

Loved it.I loved this book from the first words to the last, literally everything about it. The blurb helped, it described perfectly exactly what kind of book it was from the 'family curse' and the 'lightening zap' to the 'caveman' we knew we were in for a love story would be far-fetched and silly in places, we knew Talon would go all out 'me man, you woman' and it was wonderful.Talon is the rich, good looking star football player who has a 'love em n leave em' system going on, he knows about the enlightening experience the other males in his family have experienced when they've met 'the one' but he's ok because that's not happening to him, until, well it does and then......Skylar is the girl who literally takes Talons breath away, Skylar is a new transfer and her life will never be the same.If you want to read a book where the male character loves the female with his whole heart and will do anything for her, where the female loves him back, a book filled with fantastic characters including the coolest grandma in the world, a book which gives different POV's, a book that's far-fetched and silly in a really good alpha caveman kind of way then this could very well be the book for you, I know it was for me.

May 2017 Another reread.Reread 8/7/2016I upped my rating. I enjoyed it a lot more second go round and while the ow still annoyed me, I was a little more forgiving this time because he is so into her and loves her so much. Original review 11/2015***3.25 Stars***I loved Talon. He was definitely an OTT alpha male. I loved being in his head and he made me laugh out loud several times with his crazy, possessive thoughts. Skye was okay for me. I liked her but didn't love her. I did like the fact she seemed to handle Talon really well. LOVED the epilogue.I took off 3/4 star because up until around 50% I was still reading about all the women Talon had been with on campus...not in detail, mind you, but it was mentioned. I was more than tired of it.I took off another star for the editing...just awful! Usually, I can get past bad editing to some degree. This was very difficult because of run on sentences, comma usage was zero, etc. If you can get past all of that, it's a really cute OTT book.

2.5 ★'s Talon's the college hottie who's always with a different woman that is until he sees Skylar and then everything changes!I just want to preface this by saying that lately I've really been drawn to stories from the male's POV and this definitely drew me in. However, it just didn't keep me in. I really felt like I was reading a teenage boy's porn fanfiction. Talon is all about enjoying himself. He's rich and hot and can pretty much get whatever and whomever he wants. He's grown up hearing about his family's curse but he really believes it won't happen to him. Talon was okay at first and then he turned into a caveman....seriously. He would give Travis (from Beautiful Disaster) a run for his money. He was just too over the top for me...and the great sex just doesn't make up for all the other stuff. Skylar was okay. I think once she got in Talon's clutches (which was very quick), he just took over everything. Then later when she spoke up, it didn't really matter at that point even with them saying the Avery women held all the power. I do think having her POV helped me see her as being her own person. Skylar had some horrible things happen to her and I can see how it would be great to have someone who took care of her sooo well. It just would've been nice for Talon to get her input on things first. So remember when I said "teenage boy's porn fanfict"? Yep that = lots of steamy sex. We really get to read about all those hormones going to town although I think I could've done without him talking about "his meat" so much. There's a lot of drama and of course, Talon handles things his own way. Thankfully, his family is there to help him out. I did enjoy how they all gave him a hard time for finally succumbing to the "curse". There was an epilogue so that's bonus points and overall it wasn't a bad story, just not really my thing. Favorite quotes♥ "In case you missed that, I just staked my claim, from this day on you belong to me."♥ "

How did I end up with the only caveman on campus?"

Smokin Alpha HOT!!!I've always been a big fan of Jordan Silver's writing style.. her alpha's are as over the top as they come... oooober possessive to the point of crazy but I love them. Her guys are just crazy.. but when they love.. they love HARD and Talon Avery was no different. Even though I think he's her youngest alpha yet ( around 21-22ish) that didn't change a thing. Once he set his sites on Skylar he went total caveman and this poor girl didn't stand a chance... and I certainly cannot forget Talon's extra special quality... all of Jordan's cavemen are especially well endowed to the point of being a little scary.. and let me say clearly that Talon is quite a Ok sure.. Jordan's books are way OTT.. we get ultra caveman alpha's and love at first site. but they are FUN FUN FUN and hardly ever any angst at all if any. When you are looking for a super easy read and you love alpha's with some extremely hot sexy times... you can't go wrong with this one.

2 1/2 to 3 starsShe’s turned me into a f*cking lunatic is what she’s done in the last few weeks. My once peaceful existence is anything but since I met the little pain in the ass. -- TalonHow did I end up with the only caveman on campus? Just when I had decided to grow a backbone and stop being a doormat, he comes along and sets me back a couple centuries. -- SkylarAs soon as I got this show on the road as part of a reading challenge (view spoiler)[ i.e. the category was: 'Not my usual taste - Pick a book you might not normally read, but it has been recommended to you')(hide spoiler)], I knew I couldn't take it too seriously. That being said, this is a longer review than I intended. I had more to say than I realized. You've been warned.Let's begin with the hero... This guy is way over the top and I often found myself saying, "This is ridiculous." But Talon Avery, with his constant swearing, his OTT protective behaviour and his young, sometimes immature, 'alpha-gone-wild-and-lost-it' vibe, was sometimes kind of hilarious.Things that would normally get my back up and likely irritate the hell out of me with most books, for the most part, just made me shake my head, laugh, and go along for the ride because reality took a serious hike at the outset. (Thankfully, I'd heard a few things and read a few samples of JS's work before I dove in.) There are actually some sweet moments where you realize that Talon's absolutely GONE for this girl, to the point that you start to believe he's going to be totally stressed out but happy for the rest of his life. At the same time, this book was full of blunt, crude alpha/caveman fantasy romance craziness with a hero whose so OTT, he's pretty much gone over, all the way down and back around again. When we begin, the world belongs to Talon and he's going to do exactly as he pleases. He's hot, he's wealthy (of course), he's athletic, he's talented, he's bossy, he's got a fierce temper and can pretty much beat the crap out of anyone. Oh yeah, and he's slept with three quarters of the women on campus but, hey, only once each. He's got a personal code after all (*roll eyes*). On top of that, he's also cursed to fall in love (it's an Avery family deal) in such a way that when he does, that emotion is going to hit him like a sack of hammers, a ton of bricks, a helicopter falling out of the sky... you get the gist.Hello to the heroine...Enter Skylar (aka "Skye" aka "My Woman" aka "Babydoll" aka His Whole World).(view spoiler)["Do you have a man?" Real smooth there Talon, I’m pretty sure I didn’t give a f*ck and that hadn’t been the first thing I wanted to say to her, but whatever. She shook her head in confusion at me. Before she could finish shaking her head in denial I was kissing her like a starving man at a banquet.***She climbed to her toes and laid one on me before turning to walk into the room to her seat. I stood there for another minute feeling like a first time dad sending his little princess off to school for the first time. Shit she’d taken my balls.(hide spoiler)]"Get your tickets right here! The ride's about to begin!""Uh, Skylar, I don't know if Talon told you about the men in our family and their women..." "He told me Xavier but I don't see what that has to do with him acting like a Neanderthal." "Well, he kinda can't help it, it's programmed, sorta. We don't know what it is exactly and may never know, but just know he can't let that guy anywhere near you or he might lose his mind."And that makes things interesting because, arguably, no matter how tough he is, how bossy, controlling and wild, it seems to me that she owns his crazy ass. If she ever truly clues in to just how much power she has here and learns how to truly work it, he's gonna be toast.Danger, Will Robinson, danger...Okay, now...IF you're reading this for the realism, just back away slowly and you won't get hurt.IF you're diving into this with expectations of correct grammar and decent editing? Do yourself a favor. Don't. Just turn yourself around and head straight for the exit. Within these pages, needed punctuation is missing (Where have all the necessary commas gone?), words are mispelled and/or misused (Um...'airwaves' instead of 'airways' changes the whole meaning...) and tenses shift as though they've got a life of their own. (view spoiler)[Please note that the quotes in this review are taken directly from my 'Notes & Highlights' as provided privately with that new feature on GR. I only altered a few swear words but the rest is all JS.(hide spoiler)] I found myself constantly correcting things in my head along the way because I just couldn't help myself. This book needs an editor big time. IF you're not into 'eff this and eff that' and 'I effing said so, effer' (as well as a whole other bouquet of swears), then do not proceed further, do not one-click, do not pass GO. This book isn't for you. Things that worked for me and things that just didn't...Talon adores the heroine and goes all caveman in his quest to keep and protect her from the big bad world. Since Skye doesn't always do what she's told (understandable as he's not always reasonable by any means and often chooses not to explain himself) and sometimes even has opinions of her own about her own life and his behaviour (Imagine that!), she drives him crazy. She folded her arms and tapped her foot. "You do realize we've known each other a total of three weeks right? Twenty-one days Talon, people don't move in together after twenty-one days."Good. I hate excessive doormat crap where the heroine's just a mindless, stupid, simpering sex puppet for the hero's antics. It's boring and annoying. Not that Skylar doesn't give in to him often because she knows he'll act crazy otherwise. And not that I didn't get irritated sometimes. But this book has dual POV's from the hero and heroine, so she's not completely subsumed by his huge personality.Silver's books are known for the sexy times so that wasn't unexpected on this end. But truth be told? The first sex scene didn't do it for me and made it clear I'd be questioning that aspect of their intimacy in times ahead. Between him constantly talking about his 'meat', the cervix banging (*roll eyes*), and the way things were sometimes described, I felt like I'd been tossed into a teenage boy's fantasy porn scene. Example:(view spoiler)[With both ass cheeks in my hands I pulled her up and down on my monster. My jizz from round one was oozing out around my meat along with her juices. (hide spoiler)]Okay then. This is another one of those books I've come across that has a multiple identity and I'm not sure quite what genre it's supposed to fit into. It kind of feels like romance in some ways, then the expected erotic romance, then goes all the way to 'bow chicka wow wow, get your porn here now' but not in a way that I find sexy or intriguing. Truth be told, I was impatient for the scene to be over and to just get on with the tale. Right here, right now, the reasons behind why I kept reading... The best parts of this story for me personally? Being inside Talon's stubborn, vengeful, determined, adoring, sometimes crazy and ridiculous mind. He did everything he set out to do and to hell with anyone that got in his way. (Except Skylar. He wouldn't wish her to hell. He'd just argue, make out with her and/or gently move her aside despite her protests and barrel on through...) (view spoiler)[This wasn't something you involved your woman in, this was some shit you handled yourself. Chicks tend to get all soft and sympathetic no matter what an asshole has done to them. Me, I’m gonna break his face, then ask what the f*ck he was doing on my campus.***"You've lost your f*cking mind, are you serious? Didn't you just get through telling me that you know me? then you should know there's no way in hell I'm letting you anywhere near him if he shows his face around here. I mean it Skye you go within two feet of him I'm likely to kill his ass, as it stands I might just stomp the f*cker half to death. So unless you want to see the father of your future children arrested for murder you'll stay your ass away from him." (hide spoiler)]As well as the protective, "I love her so much, I'm screwed" energy he was putting out there and some of the sweet dynamics between them. I actually started thinking with all his fussing that he was a bit of a mother hen. So when Skylar called him that like a page later, I couldn't help but laugh:(view spoiler)["You have on your long johns right?" We'd got her some silk ones just the other day because mom said they were the best. "Yes grandma, you're such a mother hen, you've asked me that three times in the last ten minutes."***"I told you not to worry about this shit didn't I? now leave it alone, I want you to rest, you're still not one hundred percent and I don't like it. And stop rolling your eyes at me." I kissed her to waylay her argument; my baby doesn't listen for shit.(hide spoiler)]I was inclined towards giving this a 2 1/2 star rating except for those moments of sweet and shake-my-damn-head funny that got me through this book. The plot dragged a bit in places, certain parts stretched believability thin, and I was even tempted to DNF at least once or twice along the way. But I managed to push on because Talon is a character and amused me in spite of myself. And even though this isn't really my type of read, I believed that he loved Skylar, wanted to take care of her and be with her the rest of his life. He always had her happiness at the forefront of his mind and though he was bossy, controlling and overbearing at times, he was not a despicable asshat (i.e. mentally and physically abusive, rapey, etc.). I also believed that Skylar, though definitely exasperated and overwhelmed at points, felt loved and loved him in return. She was down with his brand of protective, crazy love. It wouldn't work for every woman (ahem) but she accepted it from a good place, not a fearful one."I'm sure you know by now that Talon is a very take charge kind of guy, he likes things done a certain way, usually his. It's best when he gets like this to just stay out of his way, but know that you will never in all your life together have to doubt his love for you. He'll always put you first, no matter what."***"Dude you are so gone." Kevin started laughing his ass off but it wasn't funny, it was the truth. I was gone, and I didn't give a shit. She was mine; mine to love, to protect and to shield. After a betrayal left Skylar needing a new beginning, Skylar begins school at a new college ready to break out of the timid mold she protected herself in. Talon Avery has a reputation as a one and done man, one night no repeats and you play by his rules. When Talon sees Skylar he knows she is his one, his only and he will do everything to protect her. Skylar though is not sure what to do with Talon, she has no problem trying to put her foot down with Talon, it doesn't work usually but when her life is put in danger Talon goes neanderthal and whoever is behind the danger will shortly feel his wrath.Very fun read, Talon is pure alpha male. Skylar is adorable, she is a bit unsure, witty, and Talon finds her absolutely adorable. Had a few unexpected twists and I was thoroughly ready for more by this talented author.

3.25 stars. this book was hilarious! Talon is one crazy OTT man! I loved it:) I was annoyed that we had to keep reading about him being with more than half the girls from school. he even tells h which ones they were so no drama is caused if one of them tries to tell her crap. other than that this is safe:) The epilogue had me laughing. the grammar was really bad but if you just take this as a light, funny crazy book its enjoyable:)

I saw many reviews that say how bad the grammar is but I didn't expect it to be so bad. Honestly, I've never seen a line being overwritten by another line, that's just insane! But, OK, I could overlook that. What I couldn't get pass was the unrealistic aspect of the story. It just didn't do it for me and I got bored. So DNF at 34%. :(Reviewed also on Amazon.

But then BAM she takes all that frustration and make it so worth it.   Talon is 100% in love with Skye and he fell so hard and knew there wasn't any chance he could fight it and he never tried. But he also was Total OVER THE TOP when it came to her protection.   She was mine; mine to love, to protect and to shield.  Love how there is mystery and freaking humor like hell in this book. "Talon why do I need a dog that can fight off wolves and leopards in the Himalayas?"  Nonny was a riot! So over the top, insta-love caveman style (reminded me heavily of the Caveman Instinct series by Hazel Gower)! The plot made not much sense, and yet it had a cute and fun undercurrent to it that got the third star dragged into this rating. Both main characters acted like high school children, turns out they are supposed to be college-aged, also there was a lot of money thrown in there (ridiculous expensive gifts for ex.) for no reason other than to paint the picture of how perfect and desirable the story is. There was no depth anywhere, and yet I had a small measure of fun reading this. Talon is part alpha, part childish brat, an endearing combination, specially when he´s with his sweetheart; when he´s going mental and violent, no so much...This story would have benefited from some heavy editing and 100 pages less.

1.5-2.0 RATING- I'm just not sure what to say about this book. Outside of any problem's I had with the actual story, the author's writing had me wondering if she just didn't believe in using commas (and that was her writing style) or she just didn't know proper punctuation. The sentence structures were really...unusual. I initially checked out this book after the author's name came up in a discussion about writers that wrote stories featuring completely over the top alpha male characters. Not your run of the mill alpha, but totally unrealistic, crazy, stalker alphas. I have to say, on that front, the author didn't disappoint. The character was definitely OTT in every way possible. Bits and pieces of this story were enjoyable. Parts of it were funny. Unfortunately, I couldn't get over the author's writing to appreciate much else and admit to heavy skimming through the middle and end. I'm now off to read other's reviews to see how this book ended up with such a high rating on GR. I'm pretty much the Queen of the Guilty Pleasure read but this is stretching it...

DELICIOUSLY OTTThis is one of those books that's like Marmite you'll either love it or hate it. I loved it. It's so OTT in every way and lol funny. Without giving too much away Talon is the star quarterback on the football team, and a complete manwhore. That is until the day he first sees Skylar who has recently transferred to his college. What happens next is really far fetched. He's turns into a possessive caveman. He steamrolls Skylar into doing exactly what he wants. In fact he even thinks he's losing his mind. There's nothing he won't do to keep Skylar safe. The reader is treated to a number of situations where poor Skylar is under threat from different people, which has Talon in full alpha mode. I thought the whole book was hilarious, very tongue in cheek humour. There's no holding back with the sex scenes either, they're very descriptive and very hot. All in all I found this an entertaining read totally unbelievable but addictive.

I have read all of Jordan's books and I have to say this is one of my favorites! Not only did I like the storyline , the romantic aspect was super sweet and the characters were hilarious ! I do not give examples if the plot in my reviews for fear of going Into too much detail and giving the premise away but know that this is worth a shot! 4.5 stars

I'm torn between a 3 1/2 or 4 stars for this one. This book was really fun and kept my attention throughout the whole book. Talon wasn't possessive he was POSSESSIVE and I mean crazy possessive which I loved and when I say he was devoted to Skylar that is putting it mildly, she is it for him no other girl is even on his status sphere after he say Skylar and he would gladly do anything and everything to protect her. This book was a really light fun read but the writing didn't always flow very well. Also (and I think this was my copy not the authors fault) through a lot of my book the first word in the sentances was missing so I would have to figure it out as I went and it happened tons which is why I don't think it was the authors fault.Skylar just transferred schools after catching her fiancé in bed with her cousin, when she see's Talon she can't believe he is actually better looking than she heard but she also heard he's a one night kind of guy and after her ex fiancé she is leery of men. When Talon see's Skylar he knows all the stories his family told him(that he so easily dismissed) about the men in his family falling in love with one special girl and their world changing forever are true. Talon will do anything to meet Skylar and make her his. When Talon and Skylar start dating many woman on campus aren't too happy and start causing problems, but Talon and Skylar are more happy than they ever have been and Talon finds himself falling more in love each day and more protective each minute. When Skylars becomes sick Talon has his suspicions and then when Sklyars ex comes to town he is sure that someone is out to break up he and Skylar. Then secrets are revealed that other's aren't real happy with Talon and Skylar's relationship. What everyone didn't know and took for granted was that Skylar is Talons and he will never let her go and he will do anything to make sure she is safe and happy and his for the rest of their lives. This book is told in both Skylar and Talons point of view which was nice. I also see growth in Jordan Silver's books the more she writes and the more I read. She defiantly had the possessive cave man hero down pact. This book is one crazy possessive moment after another but it was so funny and since I love my possessive men I really enjoyed this book. This is one of those books that some might say he was crazy(in a bad way) and they would want a restraining order but for me this was a fun over the top book that was just that fun. I really enjoyed this book and found myself laughing at Talon and his thought process. I wish that his brother hadn't met his "one" yet so that we could get more Avery men because this would be a great series though maybe Ms. Jordan could write about their son/s.* As I write this review I think I would rate this one a 4, because even thought this book wasn't perfect it was so fun that it deserves a 4.

Solid 3.5 StarsNow if it weren't for the Epilogue, then this would have just been an alright 3 star read for me.... What I mean is, I'll give the plot a solid 2 stars. Only because the plot was very blah. There was nothing really major about the plot to pull you in. It was just kind of, for lack of a better word or three, boring. Lackluster. Simple, if you will. Buuuut what held my interest & kept me entertained were the characters & their reactions/actions in regards to this lackluster plot. Plus this one was kinda hot.If you are familiar with Jordan Silver then you know already what to expect a bit with her brand of OTT Alpha Males. I must say, though I did enjoy Talon, I prefer to read about Ms. Silver's Older, more seasoned Alpha males. Talon is just in his early 20's, but there's no mistaking his breed ;DSo I would recommend this read if you're in the mood for irrational, young, hot OTT Alpha guy, but no real substance/point in plot. Then go ahead and read this one. It was still a decent read.

LMAO!!!!!! The family Zap...I don't know if this book was meant to make somebody laugh but the OTT everything of Talon was hilarious. (I am thinking in real life there would be arrests and restraining orders), but it was so over the top it was ridiculous.Talon, football star, and manho, until he feels the zap that has taken down all the men in his family. He does not believe this would ever affect him because he is perfectly happy with his "one-off's" or the "once and done situation".Skye, I don't even know LOL. She moved to be with her best friend two weeks ago. She left home because she found her boyfriend in a compromising position with her cousin. She becomes the obsession of Talon and goes along with this guy in a way that I can only believe should happen in a book.Just Wow!!!!

I really liked it. Kinda like Kristen Ashley's alpha males on steroids. Talon, the hero, is hilarious! I know many readers may turn down their noses at this book because this is not the crème de la crème of literature like Jane Austin or even Nicholas Sparks, but I like my books entertaining, and more often than not - smutty and raunchy! *****Re-read for 3rd time *****Last read 4/21/2015I still really like this. I guess I'm just a sucker for the OTT alphas and insta-love stories.

I think this literally made me stupider but I suspected that will happen 30% in so I have no one to blame but myself. Dismal plot and characters aside, for $5, this unedited book is so overly overpriced but it is just one of those books that even though it's SO BAD, you just can't stop reading it.If you like reading anything possessive alpha male despite poor to no editing, then this book is definitely for you.

2.5 So this was just too over the top. It had it's funny moments, but I'm not sure they were supposed to be funny.
