A beautifully written historical with a romantic plot set in Welsh gardens. Porter crafts a story involving a garden designer and an earl who wants to revitalize a declining landscape. The research that went into the setting and 19th century garden is meticulous and takes this historical romance to a level beyond. The sexual tension was portrayed realistically and tastefully. All lovers of historical fiction and romance will love this book, but If you enjoy horticulture this novel will be a real treat.
