Clearly 5 Stars First, if you haven't read the 1st book, you need too. Usually for me 2nd books in the series lose the excitement. But not in this case, the story keeps you engaged and even though parts seem a bit predictable, the authors were only setting you up. Boom... something unexpected happens. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and loved the writers character development. Shattered Lives Mended Hearts was great and looking forward to many upcoming novels. Love the cover too, it's gorgeous!

Following on from book 1 [which was amazing, refer to my review] I was eager to continue to story of Colin, Pierce and Addison. Now that Addisons memory has returned suddenly as she was stood at the church to marry Piece, what is going to happen? Its been months and her memory hadn't returned, so Addison's decision of 'living in the now' was manageable, however, now her thoughts, feelings, knowledge and emotions have returned, she couldn't go ahead and marry Piece, could she?I don't always like chapters or POV from each character, it normally annoys me this new way of writing a book, but I can honestly say that it worked great in this series, it couldn't have been done so expertly any other way but this way!Lena Nicole, in MHO is an up and coming authors, I'd watch this space if I were you. She is well in the high ranks of Indie/self published authors. I read loads of books [as you can imagine as a reviewer] there is competition out there. I am honestly happy to see good covers for her books too instead of the latest fashion of Alpa hunk males flashing on the covers! Loved the covers, its one of the first things I think readers look at, its the age old attraction magnetism whether we want to agree with this or not.Lena Nicole is a great author, she pulled me into the characters and I was so emotionally involved.I felt so bad for Colin. I felt Pierce sometimes was a bit smug, and then at times sympathetic to Colin's feelings. I also got annoyed at times thinking that Addison could have shown more empathy towards Colin, then reminded myself, how could she? he was a stranger to her. But in this book it all comes together. I LOVE IT. I can't praise the author enough and thank her for such a wonderful set of books that has kept me entertained for hours.

While I was quite taken by the first book, this one didn’t quite meet my expectations. A big disappointment and it wasn’t because of who Addison ended up choosing – because he was my choice from the beginning as well. It was very evident from the beginning who the “chosen one” was going to be – and at times it even seemed ridiculously cheesy. One was portrayed as exciting, rich, and a prize package who wooed using all his bounty of resources. The other was painted as a boring workaholic who didn’t have the resources to wine and dine. There seemed to be so much over-play in this one that I felt was unnecessary. I’m not going to point them out because it would certainly take away the power of shock for other readers. But I think you’ll know which ones I’m referring to without much question. The biggest “Ewwwwwwwwww” factor for me in this one was the unprotected sex that Addison offered freely with both Colin and Pierce. It was total ignorance and showed no responsibility by any of the three. It was bad enough that she was frequently bed-hopping from one to the other at all. I found this to be real turn-off and I couldn’t believe that Colin and Pierce would agree to it. I really never warmed to Addison in this installment. Although I felt really sorry that she lost her memory and for the situation she end up in, she acted like a completely different person here without regard for anyone’s feelings. It seemed like she expected the whole world to revolve around her and she failed to take the blame for any of her bad decisions. Along with her memory, she became a rather immature and self-centered individual. This is another case of me just not warming to this one. It lost some of the spark lit in Book One, The One Left Behind.

The One Left Behind the first book in the series left me wanting to throw my kindle and have a mini tantrum with the major cliffhanger we were left with. But the author made it totally worth the wait!!! I did my little happy dance when the book was sent to my kindle and I was able to sink into this crazy story of a girl with amnesia who suddenly gets memories of a part of her life she thought she would never get back. I fell in love with Colin and Pierce but just like Addison you can’t have them both, or can you?!?! So of course I had to pick a team and I was all about Colin. Don’t get me wrong Pierce is amazing but Colin stole my heart and I wanted him happy. I loved how close Addison was with her girls and how close Colin was with his boys. Everyone needs friends like them and they were both lucky enough to have someone by their side helping them out during a hard time in their lives. I hate when you can tell what is going to happen in a book. It is so predictable. Well let me tell you at times in this book I was sure she was going to pick Colin, and then sometimes I was sure she was going to pick Pierce. Oh and let me tell you there is something in this book that you would never ever thought would happen and it was a great twist in the story. I don’t want this series to end!! I give this book 4.5 stars-Harper

Much better sequel. I gave a very poor rating to The One Left Behind, the first book in this series because I disliked Addison's character immensely. For a nurse who suffered severe head trauma resulting in memory loss, she was written as selfish, uncaring, unsympathetic and extremely unlikable. I found her treatment of her ex-fiance' to be abhorrent and I was very critical of the authors' writing of her character. I also found it unbelievable that neither friends nor family didn't push her harder to try and remember this very important man in her life. I read the conclusion, Shattered Lives Mended Hearts and I think the authors did a very good job redeeming this character and giving this unfortunate triangle the best outcome possible for all. I also have tremendous respect for the authors on addressing some of the issues from Book 1 by having Addison question her loved ones on why they didn't push her to try and remember Colin, by having her acknowledge her unfair judgment of Colin's drinking, by having her wear his birthday gift and telling him she loved it. Her character softened in book 2 and I commend the authors for reading what their fans are writing in their reviews. Good job on this book.

Review of Shattered Lives Mended Hearts (The One #2) by Lena NicoleReviewed for Hooked on Books3 ½ out of 5 starsShattered Lives Mended Hearts continues from the bombshell ending of book 1. Addison gets her memory back as she is walking down the aisle of her wedding. Now she has to choose between Colin and Pierce.I am team Colin all the way. Addison is still selfish and so is Pierce. This whole situation is a mess. I think it was sad to see her bouncing from one bed to another to see who she should be with. SPOILER…I am disappointed with who Addison ended up with. It would have been nice to see a normal, hard-working, good-looking guy win over the rich one for a change. That being said, I am happy with how it ended because Colin deserves someone so much better.I struggled through this book as well because of how much I dislike Addison. I did like the different POV’s but this book was just not for me.

Since reading book one in January I've waited with baited breath for this book. Book one ended in a cliff hanger. I was so not happy. But when the authors told me I'd get to read this a few months later I counted down the days. This book was worth the wait!!This book continues from book one. The authors did a fantastic job of showing us inside the minds of the three main characters Addison, Colin and Pierce. Three points of view worked brilliantly in this book. Each point of view continued the story rather than repeat the scene. Loved it!!Ok I'm not going to give away much about the storyline. Be prepared for a few twists that I didn't expect. Try not to hold your breath too much... Yes that's what I did while reading this , especially near the end!If I could give this book more than five stars I would. My full praise to these two authors. I hope they are working on some more fantastic books. Received complimentary copy in return for an honest review.

I was totally shocked by her choice. Why do they always pick the wrong guy? But I was glad in the end by her choice, as I felt that Colin deserved better. I secretly hope there is a book based on Colin and Charlotte. Lena there better another book, I so want Colin to have his happy ending.

2019-02-28 12:43 rating: 4 of 5 ⭐️It was one year ago that Addison lost any recollection of the man she was supposed to marry. The man she had just been in an accident with that caused her to lose her memory. And although the physical scars had healed, her lost memories of Colin had never recovered. Now she is about to promise herself to Pierce - a man she had since met, who has given her a new perspective on life and whom she has fallen in love with - when in a flood of recognition, every memory, event, nuance and emotion suddenly returns to her.Pierce recognizes the moment it happens, the moment when the promise of their blissful future is snatched away from them. Determined to fight for the love of his life, he is willing to step back to allow Addison to try and untangle the confusing emotions she is experiencing, but he is not stepping away. Colin's initial elation over Addision's recognition soon sobers, when she explains she cannot simply choose one over the other. She loves both and wants time with Colin and with Pierce so she can ultimately make the right decision. Having been given this unexpected second chance, there is nothing Colin won't do.But placing two men in a holding pattern indefinitely, puts a strain on all involved, and before long it is causing a ripple effect with devastating consequences. Addison may well be playing with fire.....*****A strong finale to an intriguing story! This is NOT a standalone book and should be read ONLY after reading the first book in the series, THE ONE LEFT BEHIND.I asked for more pizzaz in my review for the first book, and by golly, I got it!! This part of the story definitely has more going on..... more intrigue, more passion, more 'fire'. And also more drama.... definitely more drama. But with that comes a question.... one that I have to be careful addressing without spoiling the plot. There is a very happy event pertaining to a surprise date involving a trip to LA, which was described in great detail, but had no real impact on the story. And on the other hand there was a hugely dramatic event, that has tremendous impact on the story as well as all of its characters, that gets only peripheral attention, no immediate aftermath, simply an 'after the fact' update. I found that........odd, in contrast. Other than that the characterizations were excellent. I enjoyed the slightly selfish edge to Addison, who is understandibly confused and uncertain of the validity of her feelings. Wanting to explore them over some time, to see what is real and what is perceived. However, she takes it a little too far, in that she doesn't think enough of the impact it has on the men it involves. There might have been ways for her to be a little more considerate and less self-absorbed. But then again, I can't truly hold it against her, she hasn't exactly been dealt the best of cards. In my opinion, Pierce has been a prince. Both before and after Addison's memory recovery. That man has shown all kinds of patience and consideration with her and her situation, doing his best to win her over, but in a way that is not too confrontational and allowing for her to make decisions on her own. In my opinion he is the one who should at this point, have a sense of entitlement, and yet he doesn't display one, he seems more vested in what is best for Addison.Colin does. He pushed very early on, and then withdrew. Now given another shot, he is almost too forward, without examening his true motivation other than that he still feels he has the first right. It's ironic how his involvement with Addison translates to pain for Pierce, but Pierce's involvement with Addision seems to spur anger in Colin. Colin doesn't have a clear picture of himself and would do well to spend some of this time figuring himself out.The ladies of Lena Nicole have done a fabulous job adding in an aspect of suspence. I really enjoyed that trip on the 'dark' side, it gave the story a little more colour and depth. The flow was there, but could be a little smoother. Perhaps it is the fact that we have the three POVs, but at times it felt a slight bit choppy. The overall result is an absolute unique storyline, intelligently written by two very obviously talented women, who I look forward to reading much more from!!! ✨A taunting and bitter-sweet dilemma.✨**Copy provided in return for an honest review.**

** WARNING!! DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU HAVE READ ‘THE ONE LEFT BEHIND’ **I have been desperate for this book after the end of The One Left Behind left me hanging! Addison suddenly remembering her ex-fiance Colin, just as she was about to walk down the aisle to marry Pierce was not what I was expecting! So as soon as I got the ARC in my in-box I was excited, but also apprehensive at the same time. Because I have my guy already, the one I want Addison to choose, the one I think is better for her. Yes, that’s right, Team Pierce all the way baby!We don’t always get what we want though do we? We have Pierce, waiting at the altar, ready to marry the love his life. We have Colin, who had the love of his life torn away from him, in a way that was hard for him to get over, because she hadn’t died, she was still there, but she didn’t remember him at all. Then we have Addison, who thought she wanted Pierce, but then in a cruel twist of fate regained her memories of Colin at the worst possible moment and now she doesn’t know what, or who she wants. The story starts right where it finished in the first book, with Addison fleeing the church and everyone else left bewildered. Now she has a lot to deal with. Because not only did her memories of Colin return, her feelings for him did too. You might wonder how anyone can be in love with two people at the same time. Surely if you loved the first person enough then you wouldn’t fall in love with someone else would you? Well you can in Addison’s case, and that just makes things a whole lot harder for her. Now she has to work out who she can envisage a life with, who she can see herself growing old with. Is it Colin? Is it Pierce? Or is she better off cutting herself off from both off them and starting a new life without either of them?I don’t want to say too much more incase I give away any spoilers, but I will say that my heart broke for Pierce. He’s had his heart broken in the past, but to be jilted on your wedding day? Devastating. Not only does he have to watch the woman he loves struggle to come to terms with regaining her memory, he also has to give her the space she needs, whilst knowing she may well be rekindling her relationship with Colin.Rachel Lena and Jaime Nicole (the ladies who make up the two halves of Lena Nicole) did a fantastic job in bringing this story to its conclusion. They know how to do love triangles, how to tug on the heart strings, how to make you cry and they know how to write a steamy scene! I can’t wait to see what their next project will be!

After reading the final line in The One Left Behind, I waited with baited breathe for this next book to come out, checking amazon constantly until a release date was posted. I had to know what happened with Addy, Colin & Pierce. I purchased this book the morning it was released and started reading immediately. I have to honestly say I was a little disappointed with the way the plot turned out. I enjoyed reading the story from each characters perspective bc it allowed me as a reader to understand how each of them was feeling about every situation. However I didn't care for the turns that the plot took, some that came out of nowhere in my opinion. I didn't understand why Samantha was brought into the story at all, it didn't make sense to me why she would suddenly decide after so many years that she needed to get back together with Pierce and the lengths that she went to try & make that happen. To me the only purpose was that Pierce needed some "drama" while dating Addy since Colin already had an established "friendship" with Charlotte and had slept with Brooklyn all things that could cause issues for him and Addy and Pierce needed something of the same. I was glad that Colin seemed to be doing so well at work and was back to almost living his life and continued to do so when Addy regained her memory. I was cheering for Colin the entire book and for the doubts that he started to have about his feelings and relationship with Addison throughout the whole book made me question his character a little bit. For someone who was so intent and allowed his life to take a huge downward spiral when Addison left him, his doubts at this point were so surprising to me. I know people change and that both he am Addison weren't the same people anymore makes sense but after all that yearning and hoping that she would remember, for him to decide it wasn't what he wanted had me scratching my head a little. Why did Colby have have such a horrible thing happen to her? Was that really necessary to the plot? I could have done without that heartache for all of the characters...they should have already known that life is too short when Addison had her accident and couldn't remember her life, why did it take Colby's tragedy to tell them that? Overall it was a good read but it didn't live up to the first book.

Shattered Lives Mended Hearts is the follow up to The One Left Behind. You must read The One Left Behind before reading Shattered Hearts Mended Lives. The ending of The One Left Behind left me completely reeling. I will admit that I had been hoping and praying for her memory to come back but wow did it come back at the worst possible time. Shattered Lives Mended Hearts picks right up where The One Left Behind ended. Lena Nicole wasted no time in jumping right into the meat of the story.Addison finally remembers. She remembers all the reasons why she was in love with Colin and why she was going to marry him. All of her memories come rushing back to her as she is walking down the aisle to marry Pierce. How can she marry Pierce when she remembers how in love she is with Colin? All she can do is run away from the day that was supposed to be the start of her and Pierce's life.Addison is now in love with Pierce and Colin. Remembering her feelings for Colin has not diminished her love of Pierce. She is now in love with two men and no idea how to choose between the two. Even with her memory back she isn't the same person she was before the accident. How can she choose between two amazing but very different men.Addison now has to question every decision and choice since waking up from her accident. The only solution she can think of is to date both of them. How else will she be able to learn her true feelings? She wants to make up for lost time with Colin and reexamine her feeling for Pierce not that she has her full memory back.Shattered Lives Mended Hearts had me invested from page one. Lena Nicole wrote the ultimate twisted love triangle. This book had me rooting for a different character on every page. This was a compelling read that had me guessing the outcome but changing my mind with every page turn. Shattered Lives Mended Hearts is the perfect twist on the normal love story. I loved that there was no simple answer on who to choose. Lena Nicole is a must read writing duo!

I just finished Shattered Lives Mended Hearts and I really liked it. If you have read the series then you know this is the second one while the first one is The One Left Behind. Addison Pierce and Colin and all in turmoil. Addison was engaged to Colin when they were in a car accident. She lost her short term memory and didn't remember who Colin was, as she was trying to regain her memory she meets Pierce. What turns out as an innocent friendship develops into love between them. She doesn't regain her memory until she is walking down the aisle to meet Pierce to get married. That is how the 1st book ends. She remembers. Now we have this book which is going through their lives while she tries to make a decision. Who will she choose. Pierce or Colin? I can tell you that it was a hard decision but you will have to read and see who she chooses....I really liked the story and I thought that it flowed really well. I loved how it was in in Addison, Pierce and Colin's point of view. You really got to see how they were all feeling and why they made the decisions that they made. For Addison, it really is a hard decision. Once the memories return, her feelings for Pierce remain the same. She definitely had a hard decision. I was on the fence, I loved both of them and I had no idea who she was going to choose. Once things started to change I knew who it was going to be. Did it take away from the story, no it did not. I still enjoyed it.I loved all the secondary characters and love how the author set up the next ones. I saw it coming but cant wait to see how it turns out.I loved how her friends were giving good advice and was glad that they were their to keep their heads on straight while Addison had to decide what to do. This story will take our on an emotional ride but like Addison. Who would you chose? Might not be as easy as you think...Story 4Sex 4Overall 4Reviewed by Shay for Crystal's Many Reviewers

JODIE'S REVIEW ** YOU NEED TO READ BOOK 1 BEFORE JUMPING INTO THIS BOOK **“I’m still stuck with the fact that I’m in love with two completely different men. Inevitably, I’m going to have to break the heart of one and have to live with that guilt for the rest of my life.”I was so excited when I finally got my hands on this book since Book 1 left me in a state of OMG IT HAPPENED!!! I was anxious to see how and if Lena Nicole could pull it off and I am pleased to say that they did that and more. I will warn this book had me screaming, shaking my head, shaking my kindle and wanting to smack Addison something hard!! I GOT IT! I understood where it was going, did I agree with the little triangle at times NO but I understood it. GOD DAMN IT I LOVED TWO MEN RIGHT ALONG WITH ADDISON!!! Can a woman have two husbands?“I love them both and I’m just so torn up; I don’t want to make the wrong decision.”I loved that in this book we got all three POV’s and I can’t imagine the story working any other way. Having the three POV’s really puts you in all their minds, I was completely able to capture each of their feelings and maybe that is what made me so frustrated I knew where Addison belonged. I am not going to lie, you absolutely will know where it’s heading and where her heart is. But with that being said I still enjoyed reading it and watching it play out. There are things I wish didn’t happen but I am going to let you read it and see for yourself. “Choose a happy ending that is right for you, not what everyone else thinks is right.”And there’s the thing I can’t say too much because you need to read it to find out who Addison picks, I can tell you be prepared to be frustrated, in love and then when it all comes together you will want someone’s story but who’s will it be?

"Listen to your heart and it won't steer you wrong."This is a continued story of The One Left Behind and the authors don't waste any time to dig right in to Shattered Lives Mended Hearts. It begins where Addison realizes her memories come crashing back because of Colin's blue tie that she remembers she bought for him.."Love doesn't make the world go 'round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile."This is in a multiple POV of all three main characters. Addison is giving pointers to date both Colin and Pierce to make it easier for her decision and find the her true prince charming. This book was very emotional as well and a lot of times I wanted to slap Addison again for some of her immature acts and not thinking how she is always stringing the guys along. There were a lot of acts that I didn't agree how she treated them & being more selfish of her own feelings instead. Addison and Colin especially seemed more immature acting out of the three. I can understand Addison having relations to both which was hard enough but sex with both and them not knowing about it? "It's been a challenge to get to where we are, but I wouldn't change a moment of it. Because in the end, this is exactly where we belong. Together." I had a really good feeling who she was going to choose before even starting this book because sometimes it takes someone more adventurous to push them out of their comfort zone. Sometimes a tragedy changes a person and feelings as well. Towards 85% of the book, something tragically happens again and I was not prepared for it. This book had more mature rated themes.I received this series as a gifted ARC from the authors in exchange for an honest review for a Blog Tour.

MICHELLE'S REVIEWIf you have not read The One Left Behind, do not keep reading. This will be a total spoiler for you even though this is a spoiler free review.I knew before I even started this book that I was going to have trouble with it. I was like:When we left this cast of characters in The One Left Behind, we knew that Addison's memories had come back to her like a flood and now she remembered her love for Colin but was still in love with Pierce. Now I am firmly team Colin- but I get why people would be Team Pierce, so either way, things are going to be tough.I really can't say much more than that because I would spoil things. But know there that is tons of angst, lots of steam and some interesting twists and turns along the way that may have you doing:Let me just say that, even though I am not a fan of love triangles, this was well done. i think the ending was great despite the circumstances and I look forward to more books about this crew. There was a scene in the book that really hurt my heart and I just wanted to be like:I see what the authors were trying to do with the situation, but I am not sure that I think I agree with it.A job well done. Pick up this book to read the conclusion to this angst filled tale!

Book Worms was gifted this book from the Author for an honest review. I rated this book 5 stars. Book Worms reviewer Emily left this review. Thank you Emily. This is book two in The One Series. Addison's life was shattered a year ago when she was left with no memory of her fiancé. When Pierce entered her life she thought she was on the mend until her memories of Colin came back. With having all her old memories flooding back, Addison is left faced with the consequences of the decision she made to move on with another man. Now faced with loving two men Addison must find it in her heart who her soul mate is without breaking the heart of the other. Will Addison run away leaving everyone with shattered lives or make a decision that will mend hearts?Lena Nicole doesn't disappoint in book 2. I felt the story was lacking in some parts but altogether ended well, with Addison making her decision. I rate this book a 5 it was soul-touching, wonderfully written lovely story that delivered everything that a great story should. Lena Nicole is definitely an author to look out for.

5 StarsWow, what a way to leave us hanging in book one. Now that Addison remembers Colin, how will she choose, what will her heart tell her to do. Addison’s life took a drastic change when she was in an accident with her fiancé Colin. When she woke up, she didn’t remember him. Then to make things even more complicated she met Pierce and fell head over heels in love with him and agreed to marry him. While she is walking down the aisle to her future husband, she is slammed back in to her past when she remembers Colin, but what will she do now? This book was the so awesome, if you thought The One Left Behind was good and emotional; this one will leave you reaching for your Kleenex box! There are so many ups and downs and twist and turns in this book. Addison and Colin have a past, but can they have a future, especially with the changes they have both gone through. Addison and Pierce have a new love and are so deeply connected, but can Addison get past the feelings she has for Colin? Questions, love, betrayal, crazy, sadness… this book has it all. All you can do is sit back and enjoy the rollercoaster ride! This was a definite 5 star read for me and I can’t wait to read more from these authors. You will not be disappointed with this series so make sure to check it out! Reviewed by Tonya Nichols @ Eye Candy Bookstore

"No matter what life brings you, kick some grass over that s*** and move on."Things I liked about this book:-One of the main premises that I disagreed with in the first book was resolved: Colin got his shot.-Pierce really is a great guy, and he provides some very sweet and lovable moments!-There is a happy ending.Things that I didn't love in this book:-While I'm normally okay with love triangle stories, this love triangle just didn't work for me. I just couldn't connect emotionally with the characters, probably because I didn't agree with the choices they made for themselves.-While there was one shocker, most of the book was predictable and therefore didn't pique my interest as much as I'd have liked.Overall, this series just wasn't my cup of tea. However, as the saying goes, "different strokes for different folks." My opinion is just that, MY opinion. It's provided in order to give potential readers- or people who have finished the story already - just one take. I would never want to discourage someone from reading a book! If the synopsis interests you and you're really okay with a love triangle, you may really connect to the characters and enjoy this series!**A copy of this book was provided in exchange for an honest review**

Boo is all i can say i give it a 3. The book was predictable from the 1st book nothing exciting happened except for the incident towards the end. I knew how the story would end from the first 5 chapters of the the book in this series. After reading it i really didnt see the since in having the books. I guess its just me because i see all these great reviews for the book but i dont know why. I am going to say from the beginning i never liked Addison and i never knew why Colin tried to be with her from the beginning how she treated him. The reason im down on this book is 1-the predictability and 2-i dont like when writing shows one man come to the conclusion he dont want the girl anymore. I wish for once a writer would write a storyline where its not so easy for someone to make a choice and they dont change the outcome of the story by making something happen, show during the whole book the preference some has or put another person in the middle of a situation to give them an out. That really irritates the shit out me and thats why i read two books in less than 35hrs not because i couldnt put it down but because ijust wanted to get it over with.

Since Addison finally remembered Colin at the end of The One Left Behind the big question became who she would pick in the end. Shattered Lives Mended Hearts answered that question; this review will be kind of brief so that I don’t spoil it for anyone. I won’t say who she picks but the journey was an emotional one for all parties involved as well as the reader. The book grabs you from the start and while I questioned some of Addison’s decisions I liked the book. I liked that it was told from all characters point of view. Also, I think that there was some drama that didn’t necessarily need to be there, but it didn’t detract from the book either. To me the ending was the best ending it could be, it ended with her choosing who I hoped she would choose and set it up for another great book to come. Lena Nicole as a writing duo have a ton of talent and I look forward to reading more from them in the future.

Reviewed for Hooked on Books3 ½ out of 5 starsShattered Lives Mended Hearts continues from the bombshell ending of book 1. Addison gets her memory back as she is walking down the aisle of her wedding. Now she has to choose between Colin and Pierce.I am team Colin all the way. Addison is still selfish and so is Pierce. This whole situation is a mess.I think it was sad to see her bouncing from one bed to another to see who she should be with.SPOILER…I am disappointed with who Addison ended up with. It would have been nice to see a normal, hard-working, good-looking guy win over the rich one for a change. That being said, I am happy with how it ended because Colin deserves someone so much better.I struggled through this book as well because of how much I dislike Addison. I did like the different POV’s but this book was just not for me.

I waited a long time to write this review. I struggled with how I wanted to word it. I worked with the authors on this book and at times was frustrated but made it through. Unfortunately, that means nothing when it comes to reviewing a book. There were a lot of struggles throughout this book. Addison and Pierce were not my favorite characters at all. I found them very selfish and untrustworthy. I didn’t like their actions and the way they treated others.Colin, on the other hand, really needed to get away from Addison and her antics. She was never worthy of him. He was way too good for her. Thank goodness he had Charlotte by his side. Whether he saw what he had in her or not, she was who he deserved. In the end, I really wish the writers would’ve taken a different turn with the characters.I’m giving this book 3 stars.

This is the 2nd book in The One Series by Lena Nicole, so if you have not read The One Left Behind do not read Shattered Lives Mended Hearts until you do! With that being said we pick up where we left off in book 1. Addison has her memory of Colin back and she has just run away from her wedding to Pierce. She now has to decide who she wants to be with.I can honestly say that I think I picked up who Addison would choose within the first few chapters, but then honestly Lena Nicole would then write something that would make me doubt who I thought she would choose. Addison struggled with things that she was thinking, because she didn’t want to hurt Colin or Pierce. But she put more of a struggle on herself. In the end I loved how this story turned out and can’t wait for the third book to come out.

Starting this I had no clue how she was going to choose? My heart broke for all three of them, and around 30% I still hadn't made up my mind who I would choose if I were in her shoes. Little bit later I had put it together and was happy where it was going. This would have been a 5 star read for me except for what happened 83%!! That, in my opinion, was not necessary. Yes, it added to the angst and mystery, but I really didn't enjoy that part. So, I will have to give it a solid 4.5 stars! Loved the ending, couldn't have been wrapped up any nicer for a HEA then it was and lets face it, that is why I read romance! Overall, I loved this series! And would recommend it to all my Romance Junkie Friends!

Loved this book! This story is about a tragedy that happens and tears Colin and Addison apart and is devastating enough and then to have circumstances that bring Pierce into the picture who loves her equally and she must choose. I could never imagine. Then to have other things to make them be tested even more. The love between these three is a love that is very hard to come by. The ending ended just how I wanted it to with no one being hurt. I can't wait to read Colin and Charlotte's story. The One Left Behind. These two authors have a great chemistry and write very well together. great emotional read.

Continuation of book 1. OUTSTANDING read and I loved reading all the different views of all 3 main people. In the long run Addison did exactly what she was meant to do and feel. The surprise TWIST to the storyline........OMG, holy sh*t, did NOT see that one coming. Sad but I see why you put it in the story.Congrats on book 2, job well done!I look forward to more writing from the two of you :)

Dislike. Addison is still unlikeable, Pierce still got on my nerves. There better be a book about Collin. As much as I didn't want him with Addison mainly because she was one selfish wench, I still want a happy ending for him.
