As Katrice turns to Christ, will she stop worrying about her brothers long enough to find a life full of hope and the promise of love and restoration? This is a fun, inspirational novella (short novel) that will make you laugh and appreciate the people God puts in your life to conform you to the image of Christ....

What About Momma's House? Reviews
What to say about Momma's House? This was a fun, easy read, but chocked full of insight into the Black, church family. Much was of tradition for sure, but also was honed in on character development, especially with the siblings. I think as a female raised with male siblings I was really able to form a realistic relationship with Trice, and we are most definitely made up of the Sister Syndrome, and middle child as well. It is unusual to be able to associate that closely with a fictional character, wow!! I am definitely interested in reading the sequel to find out what happens in the lives of each of these siblings. The flow of the story was light at a time I wanted to read but was maybe low on concentration so the timing was right also.
This is the story of Katrice, who cared for her sick mother without regrets. After the passing of her mother, her brothers were all about the insurance money. Her brothers gave no assistance in helping care for their mom. Katrice was focused on taking care of her family since a young age. Katrice wanted to honor her mother’s wishes. Katrice had lost her way, but was able to find her way back to God!!
This was a great read. It is an great example of when a family experiences death how they often pull apart instead of coming together as one. I was glad to see that Katrice and Junior eventually came around and realized that family was important. Hopefully in book two Montrel will do the same.
This book started off slow, but then it got my attention. Trice was a great daughter, who helped here mother until her death. Montreal and his lieing wife Glenda where just money hungry and just wanted the money that the mom left. Junior was a ladies man with too many kids. Read in one sitting to get to the next book.
Great book! This book made me laugh and cry. It has a few similarities to my life, I'm an only girl and I was my Mom's primary caregiver. But the family issues they had are things I never experienced, thank God! I loved the way the story shows how God works. Gotta go read book 2 now!
This was a very well-written book. I really enjoyed it, but at the end, it got a little too spiritual/religious for me. I was hesitant to read the book based on the title and cover but I gave it a try. I will eventually read Part 2.
Good Page TurnerThis book inspired me to continue running the race for God. One of my favorite scriptures was found in this book. I can identify with some of the characters found in this book. It is my plan to read other books by this author.
Great read with a bunch of family drama!!!
Great BookThis was a great book about the reality of how death can bring out so many feelings and emotions in a family ...But with God all things are possible...
