Let me start by saying I really enjoyed the other books in this series. In fact, that last one had me in begging desperation for this one and I scanned the webpages weekly for a publication date. But I have to say I was disappointed. The writing quality is the same, the characters are the same, but the big pulling romance just twanged. In the last book we left Perdita and Nathan released from the curse. Supposedly, their obsessive connection had disappeared and we were given the impression that their love was the curse and nothing but the curse. However, in this book, from almost the beginning, we are disabused of this idea. The couple are still soulmates and as the book progresses it discloses Nathan's desperate feelings which made me ask 'Whaaa..?' when it came to the scene on the patio. Seriously? 'Could he do this?' Why would he want to? Why would he even ask the question? That moment there, when I'd been desperate for more connection just destroyed the anticipation. Then, as a sucking counterpoint we get few measly paragraphs of togetherness. Then, there is the big (view spoiler)[abduction (hide spoiler)] and we are left hanging once more. Their connection, the compulsive adoration, the long looks and heart-wrenching avowals of affection made the books for me. Also, and this is my final negative comment, the ending - talk about draggggggg. If you're going to have a long ending in a series like this please make it about the couple. We needed more. I needed more! Feeling seriously short-changed in the romance department. Perhaps if I'd left it a day before reviewing I'd have given it 4 stars, but I'm feeling glum and pouty.

The Evans pack is now larger than ever. Vin gets what he deserved. A few go to jail and everyone else gets to live a life that passes for normal, considering werewolves are part of their everyday lives. The story was riveting and fast from the start. I had read the previous books, so I was hungry for what would happen next. As the story unfolded, I found myself yearning to turn the page. Great book. Read this book if sci-fi/fantasy is what you like.

To start off in the description it states "while nathan doesn't seem to recognise himself anymore" did not for one moment get that impression, ever. Not once, he was being the usual jerkness self he was when we started this whole issue.I am sorry for Willow, there should be some back story for her because there isn't a lot of focus at all on her. Ryan well Ryan annoyed me from book 2 with how he spoke at Nathan and spoke at Perdy. I use the words spoke at, because to implies there was some choice in them doing what he was saying or having any say in what he was badgering on about. Perdy is pretty lost in most of this book she clings onto her new confident side a lot which is good she isn't afraid of being herself and telling Nathan and her dad to sod off. It takes her longer with her dad because he just pushes her to breaking point. It is so sad what happens to Robert, I was hoping in the ending she would wrap him up in a neat little bow, but it is wrapped up but not neatly and there isn't a bow. Sadness.Ryans ending is sweet, glad hes lightened up to be the great character I wanted him to be. Ryan is like my most favourite guy name to have a crush on in actual person. So I was already having crushes on his character no matter what, I was like please stop making him be mean. Nathan and Perdy I am glad they are together sort of disappointed it isn't all and they get married and produce babies, but this is impossible or at least not approriate considering the ending is set in four years and they would only be 20? Or around 20 so it would be ok, but it makes the story better that they didn't do that. The way her and her mum end is sort of disappointing, its like a non-starter really, makes me wonder was there a point in her being introduced? I had been hoping like I was with Tammie she was involved in these wolves. She isn't and therefore is a little bit of an extra in this story and isn't needed in anyway apart from being a page filler.Tammie is pointless too, we have this side drama between her and joey throughout this seried and between her and Perdy and the gang and to me her reasons suck. I mean really in real life those reasons wouldn't be that OK. and in a book where it is fantasy, why wasn't she involved somehow? Its like the author thought about it and then realised in the 2nd book she didn't fit. So really she just acts like a brat for 3 books and ends up with an ending of "traveling" but Perdy is "jealous" yeah right love, Perdy is in love with this amazing guy remember and she has a cool family. *total sarcasm* I was pretty done by the end and it was late at night so I was getting to the point of a did not finish. Which would ruin my goal as a reader but there you go.Really this series isn't that fab. It isn't the worst by any means. I wish the curse had been better, I wish there was more on Amelia being a romini witch werewolf. (yeah) and I wish that Perdy and Nathan's character developments were not so quick. For 16 year old kids, or however old they are. They act like normal kids that age but there are so many flaws with the characters and their relationship it takes from this book...I wouldn't have read this book had I had to spend money to start the series. The first book is or was free and the rest not too bad for a kindle read. her first book is free like a lot of her first in a series, (means I will try some more of her books maybe I caught a dud series for myself) her second book is 1.99 and her third is 1.64 that is all in english pound sterling. So its not a bad read for under 5 pounds. Would I re read? No I doubt I will stray in this series again. Will I read the author? Possibly although if I do it wouldn't take a lot to put me off her.

I started reading this book a long time ago, like back when it was first released. I struggled and, while I knew I wanted to come back and finish it, I gave up for a while. The first half of the book was tough. It was all angry characters and no communication and Perdita and Nathan both pining away for someone that they didn't think wanted them anymore. Seriously, one conversation could have eliminated the entire first half of the book. It was kind of depressing and I just wasn't feeling it.I was looking for something to read and decided to pick it back up and finish it. Apparently I just needed to read a little farther past where I stopped and the story picked up.The second half of the book was definitely more interesting, though i still thought it dragged. Things that have been building throughout the whole series finally came to a head, but I just thought the whole thing could have been shortened. It seemed like the author was just stretching out the events until she reached the number of words she wanted and then just told, not showed, us everything that happened after. It went from way over described throughout the whole book to the bare minimum for the end.I don't know. I just think this book could have been better. I liked the first two books a lot and this one just wasn't as good. It wasn't terrible; it was just kind of disappointing.

This was by far the best book of the series! Probably a 4.5 but since you can't give halves this was worth the round up. The only downside is that a little of it was too predictable. However the unforeseen made up for that. If anything I would have like to hear more of the ending on how life went on.A great wrap up to a good series. I have others that I much prefer but this was ok as well. Worth the time. As much as I'd like to say more I'm just not how I could without spoilers and I really greatly dislike those. But if you have read the first two installments this is a must read! Only neg point was the ending. It felt like the author was late on her deadline and rushed to "wined things up". To many characters endings all hurried so it got a tad confusing and left with a ugh sensation as the lead characters were smoothed over leaving the reader wanting more! A spin off of Amelia's gifts would be great and prob would tell us more of the lives if the series lead cpls life goes on then the end lead to!

I found this last book a bit stop and go. The novel would steam along with valid information and scene setting, and then it would move into areas that I considered were already covered and my interest would lapse with consequent skimming. An example of skimming would be the soul mate issue. I felt that this had already been explained by the pertinent character, and then the story would continue on rehashing the issue without considering the revealed information. This truly frustrated me and I would skim ahead until I felt something worthwhile was happening.Because of these points this novel lost its verve and I was definitely disappointed. I might have given 2.5 stars, and hey, why isn’t there a choice to select half stars? I’m really not sure I will go onto a subsequent novel, although time might give me the space I need to make it fresh again.

The final book in the Cursed Series was just as wonderful to read as the other books. Claire did a great job finishing up the series and even gave us a little detail about what happens later without tying it up in a neat little bow giving a feel of reality in a mythical story. LOVED IT!!The book helps bridge the gap in Nathan and Perditas' families. It was great to see how when the truth was final shared that they were able to work together instead of fighting among each other. For my MOMs POV of this book in the series, I would still be comfortable with my daughter reading the series. Although there is violence in the story it is not graphic, and although it is implied that Nathan and Perdita have furthered their relationship, there are no specific details.

I finished the series today and it didn't feel like it ended. I get that she went 4 years into the future and showed all the wolves and people getting along. But to me, it wasn't a true end. There weren't any clear answers and the whole ending was a little confusing. Amelia is an Omega and has weird powers. But the whole concept of the Omega is never really discovered and Amelia's potential is left open. I wanted so bad for Nathan and Perdita to on their way to parents. I wanted to see Perdita get changed. I thought she held remarkable potential to be an unique werewolf. Their children would have been incredible. And I say children because, she would have been like Lia. It was a good ending...but I think it could have been better!

I liked this book and it has been left open enough for more if the author wishes to write about these characters again. This book picks up from the end of the 2.5 book Awakened and the main character in that book is now much more likeable. She has found her niche, is happier but realises that by doing what she did has made things harder for her brother Nathan and Perdy. She works hard to do the right thing for everyone.I liked the way the characters are written, how you see them struggle through the situations they find themselves in and how their differences actually enhance the group as a whole. This book is about accepting who you are, using the talents you have been given to the best of their abilities and not letting the bullies win.

Disappointing. The writing was always a bit weak in this series; the best part was the connection between Perdita & Nathan. I flew through the first two books, but Purity felt like a tedious chore to read...it took me ages. I ended up skimming a lot of the 2nd half of the book b/c it simply dragged. The romance was mostly absent, despite it being made clear that Nathan & Perdita were still soulmates, even w/out being cursed. Too bad this series kind of fizzled out.

What a fantastic read! This trilogy was truly amazing! It spoke from the heart and even though I'm 27 I can relate to how older teenagers had to look and learn about life. The author is very talented and you will be hooked after the first book! I'm sad to say Nathan and his mates story is over but I'm so glad to have been able to read it and feel like I was right there threw the whole way!

I loved this series! Cursed starts right up after Clarity and the curse is broken but the feeling Purdita has for Nathan have not gone away and Nathan has turned into someone she doesn't recognize and has gone off with his Opa and Jeremy in search of other wolves and Vin. Amelia is trying to understand her new powers and must do so quickly to help Perdita and Ryans daughters. The final battle is approaching and they can all only hope things will workout!!

Loved this book....so sorry it's the end of the series, but what an end!! Action packed!! I literally couldn't put this book down, it will have you on the edge of your seat from the very beginning! Claire makes Perdita & Nathan's story feel so real, your routing for them all the way! Such an exciting read!

started off quiet slow and everyone was full of hate and anger but it got better, loved the ending so glad everything worked out, I really enjoyed this series, full of action and love. I liked how family and friends were really cherished and quite a big thing in these books. :)

Purity wraps up the Cursed series. When something happens to Amelia, causing the curse for Nathan and Perdita, will the teens be the same? With Perdita's dad still recovering from his "bite", will he turn, will he recover? Sad to see the story end.

Slow and lacked detailsI loved the first book in the Series. Second was slow...then the third was slow to start but eventually picked up. Still it lacked details. Plot could have been great if told better. Overall not horrible.

The final book in the Cursed series finds our heroine and Evans family facing their enemies head on. The book tied everything up nicely and even gave a glimpse several years into the future. Again, not my favorite series by the author, but she does write wonderfully.

I agree with some readers that this last in the series didn't have the oomf of the others, but I still loved the characters and I was happy with the ending. It wrapped up nicely and I didn't feel like there were loose ends.
