It’s like you finally realize that baseball never loved you back. All the sleepless nights, the hours spent at the gym trying to stay fit, the conditioning, the training, the mental preparation, the holiday’s missed, the birthday’s passed, the memories you didn’t get to make with your family…all for what? It’s not like baseball lost any sleep over you. She didn’t stay awake for nights on end trying to figure out how to make you a better player. She didn’t care. Baseball’s a business. A sport. A game. 5 Beautiful starsI'm going to keep this review simple and easy it's going include a few pictures of my memories of well this series as a whole. This conclusion was to me a giant big 'epilogue' really it tidied all those ends that were left feeling okay but not complete this DID, it showed me how they lived with baseball in their lives, being married, how their family coped how their relationship survived it was great. I mean there was lots of lovely sexy moments, lots of friendly moments, lots of conversations with Gran and Gramps the writing was easy to understand it flowed well, and it all went in a full circle I saw what they once were, how they started out and how they completed. AMAZING..Jack F'n CarterCassieQuarters that will always hold that special place 'right there'And lets now go down memory laneSo Jack F'n Carter will hold my heart in book world alwaysTHAT IS ALLMy review of The Perfect Game: review of The Game Changer:

Jack fcuking Carter we love you!"Every moment with you is never enough; I always want more. And I always will."Jack shocked us, hurt us and then redeemed himself and went on to steal our hearts. In this last installment Jack and Cassie are faced with new challenges which initially scare us but turn out to be the best thing that could've happened!Jack and Cassie wow these two are so in love I'm even jealous! I cannot rate this 5 stars because these two were so in love and so perfect that it irritated me.Anyway another bitter sweet ending of another awesome series..."Always take chances. And take risks, especially when it comes to love. Because love is the one thing in this world that’s worth risking everything for.”

Hell yes!! This is how you wrap up the last book of a series!! Hands down loved every page. Thank you for not desecrating jack and Cassie and their love. Thank you for keeping the integrity of their characters and their love. Thank you for no over the top bullshit drama. Thank you for giving me a more than just a happy ending. Thank you for not making Cassie annoying. The moment she realized jack was her home, and all she needed.... Beautiful. I loved Jack fucking carter! I loved Cassie. I didn't care for Melissa but luckily she wasn't overkill in the book. This was a great way to send Jack and Cassie off for the last time. It starts off at their wedding and them living life in New York. Jack is injured and it takes a huge toll on him. He acts like a jackass until he finally gets his shit straight. With Cassie by his side, he's unstoppable. We get a baby Carter!!! We get success in Jacks career. We get a grown up, loving Jack who would do anything for the love of his life and their son Chance fucking Carter. The depth of jack and Cassie's love is loud and clear in this book. I ate it all up. I loved the epi. I'm wondering if there's a book in the future for the Carter offspring?? Loved that Dean and Jack were still close and razzed each other. Glad that gran and gramps still had a role in the book and with jack and Cassie. Loved the Matteo and Trina story. Loved it all. I am so completely satisfied with the wrap up of the Carter's. I mean this is what you need when two of your favorite book couples is coming to an end. You don't want the damn stupid drama, cheating, angst. You want to know that all is ok. That they made it and had a good life. You don't want to have all these questions or concerns. This book left me with a light heart and a big smile.

OMG...I lost my whole damn review!!!! UGH, PISSY!!!Well, here is the short and sweet of it...JACK F'N CARTER...I loved that Jack and Cassie have their HEA and that no matter what happens they will always be there for one another. I love that these two have grown up and found that ever after kind of love. This has amazing internal dialogue with epiphany moments that are so heartfelt. Just know that there is nothing better than Jack carter looking into the eyes of his newborn child...And for all of those fan out there, you will still love quarters!!!!!

My beautiful Kitten. My heart. My soul. The only thing in this world I love more than baseball.I have to be honest, I have a love hate relationship with this series. The first book "The Perfect Game" completely made me mad. Jack F'N Carter made me mad. Just thinking about what he did makes me mad all over again, lol. The second book was OK. That crazy girl from TPG made an appearance, and I wanted to toss her around the room a few times. The third and final book "The Sweetest Game" spanned so much time so we could see how Jack and Cassie's relationship evolved, and how their priorities changed as their lives changed. I was excited to catch up up with Dean and Melissa and to finally see them get together. The epilogue was a sweet ending to Jack and Cassie's love story. My Favorite QuotesMy beautiful Kitten. My heart. My Soul. The only thing in this world I love more than Baseball."I'm yours. There will never come a time when I don't belong to you. It's you for me, or no one. You hear me? Only yours. Forever.""Every moment with you is never enough. I always want more. And I always will."Live without regrets. It's very easy to, really. You just listen to your heart, follow it, and take chances. Always take chances. And take risks, especially when it comes to love. Because love is the one thing in this world risking everything for."

I don't know if it was out of glutton punishment but I had NEVER been a fan of Jack ever since he cheated on Cassie in book one and then left her for the other girl after. Then in book two, I felt as if there was no story or character development and it basically ended on the same note that book one did.As for this book, well, it was okay to say the least. It didn't make me squirm with giddiness but it also didn't annoy me...too much anyway...It was more so just blah throughout.Jack, Jack... I still hold a grudge on you. I HATE, HATE cheaters. But at least now, you and Cassie finally got your HEA!!

Jack F'n Carter!!!!!!!!!!!This was me when I heard there would be a third book in this seriesNow that I've read it, I'm all likeI know some readers have their britches all up in knots because there was even a third book in this series. As for me, a girl who is always chasing after happily ever afters, I welcomed it and ended up really enjoying it. I know a lot of readers were turned off by Jack after book one. Don't get me wrong, I wanted to rip Jack's balls off too after he did what he did. Any girl would want to do that. But we all have to remember that not all love stories are sugar plums and gum drop sweet. You have to be REALLY niave to think that a "perfect" or even good relationship doesn't come with problems or hiccups. Jack and Cassie weren't perfect and neither was their relationship. After all the shit Jack and Cassie went through in The Perfect Game and The Game Changer, I think it just made them stronger individually and as a couple. The business that Jack is in, I think that it was a good thing they went through what they did early on and were able to learn from it and move on. If it didn't happen in the beginning, the same issues and temptations would have arised somewhere down the line. If sucks that it had to happen and there's nothing else we can do now that it did. But since it happened these two have been able to move past it, grow stronger, and Jack has redeemed himself (at least in my opinion). Infidelity is a fact of life folks, just look at the real life atheletes love lives. The Sweetest Game finds Jack and Cassie in more solid ground and living out their happily ever after. The couple is now married and moving on to the next phase in their lives. Jack has been having a few great seasons with the Mets and Cassie is striving in her photography career. Things are doing really great for the couple and they've eased themselves into a nice and satisfying life. But just because these two are married now doesn't mean life is easy sailing from here on out. Like with all REAL relationships, you will hit a few bumps down the road road. Just because they've said their I do's doesn't mean they are excempt from having any more problems. without being too spoilery I do want to state that there are no outside parties that cause any strife with the couple. Any conflicts they run into is all internally and things they deal with together and internatally.J Sterling could have easily left us with the HEA ending in The Game Changer but I think she did the right thing by telling us the story of Jack and Cassie after the wedding and what would happen when Jack's baseball career would eventually end. For so many years, baseball was such a huge part of Jack's life and who he was, but what happens when that career ends? How will it affect him, Cassie, and their relationship? Will they be able to eventually have a family in the future? What will that future look like for these two? These are all the questions that Sterling eventually answers for us and left me in an even happier state of satisfaction for Jack and Cassie. For fans of this series and of Jack F'n Carter, I think that you will all be satisfied how these two have made it this far and how much they've learned since they first met at that college party. Jack wasn't perfect when we met him and he isn't totally perfect in this book. With the career he's chosen he and his club expects a lot from him and this is something that Jack has to constantly work and and struggle with. Jack will still piss you off but not in the way he did in book one or two. There is no doubt in my mind that these two genuinly love and belong to each other, and J. Sterling has left me feeling that after we leave these two that they WILL have a HEA. For fans of Dean and Melissa, don't worry, Sterling gives us an HEA for these two and I'm glad that they finally go their act together because I was wanting to rip my hair off if I didn't get some kind of closure for these two. The Sweetest Game was a sweet ending for a series that I discovered this year, and ended up loving. This series is definitely worth all the quarters in the world and if you're a fan of The Game series you'll definitely want to read this. Now I must wait to find out if or when Chance's books will be released. (You'll have to read this book to find out who Chance is.)

A wonderful conclusion for this series. On some reason, Jack and Cassie grew on me despite of the headaches they gave me. Seeing them more matured than ever is simply enough to make me happy. I finally get to appreciate them. Especially Jack Carter and I ended up liking his character. Out of the three books, this is probably my favorite because the drama is better than the previous two books. Overall, I enjoyed the series.

For me this was the best of the three -- probably because Jack finally proved his worth. This series of books is everything that makes reading delightful in contemporary romance -- with the added specialty of sports-themed. I loved it all -- the good, the bad, the ugly and especially the perfect and "sweetest" happily ever after between Jack and his Kitten. It was a joy to watch these two grow from young college students into the capable and responsible adults they became. There are so many wonderful characters to love in this group of books. Each add there own personal and special touch to the storyline. Kudos to the author for wonderfully written and fun-to-read entertainment from start to finish.

Well...I have to say that while I knew there was a third book in the works, I thought it was going to be about Jack's brother. And I was fine with that. I wanted his story. I wasn't anticipating a third book about Cassie and Jack when I felt the second book wasn't needed. But, I'm apparently glutton for punishment because I gave in and read this anyway. Just reading the synopsis told me that something was going to happen to Jack's career and that would cause angst for him and Cassie. And it didn't disappoint in that. As soon as it became apparent what would happen, I knew he would turn into the patient from h3ll and become the biggest jerk going. And he proved me right. He was downright awful. I was close to hating him (again). But things turned around and the book was mostly happy/hunky-dory type of things. But I was still left feeling like it wasn't needed. I was happy with their HEA at the end of book 1. Then I was satisfied with their HEA at the end of 2. So I'm not entirely sure why this one was needed. But, it finally closes Jack & Cassie's story, so I'm happy about that. However, from the epilogue, I did get the impression that their son Chance would end up with a book. And I would be interested in reading about him. And speaking of other characters, I have to touch on Dean and Melissa. *sigh* I loved both of them in the previous books. Both as just friends of Jack and Cassie then as the possible love connection. But with 3 books under my belt of watching them dance around each other, I lost my patience with them. I came to extremely dislike Melissa. I still loved Dean and thought he deserved better than how Melissa treated him. I was standing up and cheering for him when he even realized that he deserved better. So, while I would have loved a Dean book, I'm also glad that I didn't get one because if Melissa ticked me off this much as just a secondary character, I would be beside myself wanting to go Queen of Hearts on her as a main character.

Re-read via Audible 3/7/2015. I love this book. Newport Beach, Jack being a dick, Jack being a great hubs, Jack being a great father. Best Epi ever. Jack and Cassie has been through so many trials and tribulations that I could not wait to see where their story would go and how it would end. This book starts after their wedding and ends with an Epi from their 17 year old son Chance. Thank you Jenn Sterling for giving me a female character lead who is a strong, mature, professional, confident working woman. Thank you for bringing the couple full circle in love and life. Watching them grow and strengthen their love was simply fantastic. I am not going to lie, I love baseball and this book made me feel like a real game insider which made the ride all that more enjoyable for me. Though I'm sad their story is over, I feel complete. The epilogue in this book brought such beautiful closure to their story that I can sleep well tonight knowing the Carter's are a complete strong family unit.

The Sweetest Game Review Book Rating: 5 stars out of 5. Story Line: 5 stars out of 5. This book was my favorite of all the series. I really enjoyed most of the book. There were some scenes that really upset me. There were also still funny moments in the book as well. I also loved the sickeningly sweet moments in this novel as well. In the beginning of this book I didn't like the way that Jack treated Cassie. He did something stupid and he broke his hand. He couldn't play the game he loved. He started treating Cassie badly. He was upset with himself for being so stupid. He started pushing her away. He gave her the silent treatment most of the time. When he did talk to her he was being a jerk. I really didn't like the way that he acted either. Dean came out to try to help snap Jack out of what was going on with him. Jack also treated him horribly. Dean gave him a letter from Gran. That helped Jack snap out of it. He also helped Dean with his girl problems. Dean ended up exploding on Melissa. (I understand why he did it.) I was actually happy that Dean did that. He was too sweet. That just proved that he was able to stand up for himself. Jack apologized to Cassie after that and promised to never treat her like that again. Jack started to train again to get his pitching arm back up to speed. He started making progress, but the Mets decided to trade him. They gave him two options to go to a team in Canada or to go to one in California. Jack chose to move back to California. Cassie found out that she was pregnant while she was packing to move back to California. Jack's reaction was really sweet. Cassie was okay with leaving her dream job. She wanted to be there for her man. In the second half of the book the baby was born. Jack showed his vulnerability. He was scared that he was going to be a bad father. He proved that he was an amazing father. He decided to quit playing baseball when his son, Chance, was five years old. He wanted to be there for his son. The last chapter switched to his son's point of view. I really enjoyed that. I loved reading Jack and Cassie's story. Characters: 5 stars out of 5. Cassie was still amazing throughout this book. She is still a strong character for me. She had to endure through so many trials in this book because of her husband. Being married sometimes is hard, but she persevered. Her reactions still made me laugh. In the end she also became an amazing mother. I was happy with the way her story ended. Jack made me angry in the beginning of the book. I still loved him though. He really is a sweetheart. I want a man just as sweet and protective as he is in my life. I think everyone deserves that. I didn't like the way he acted because of his stupidity. You don't treat people badly because of something you done, but that's exactly what he did. He did redeem himself when he apologized. I was also happy with what an amazing father he became. Favorite Quote: “Live without regrets. It’s very easy to, really. You just listen to your heart, follow it, and take chances. Always take chances. And take risks, especially when it comes to love. Because love is the one thing in this world that’s worth risking everything for.”Writing Style: 5 stars out of 5.

*Swoon* When I first heard that there was going to be a THIRD Jack F'n Carter book I literally squealed. I fell in love with him, I hated him and then I fell for him once again in The Perfect Game and The Game Changer. To be quite honest I was excited to be getting more of Cassie and Jack's story as I will always want more of them, BUT I was a little scared as to WHAT this third book would deal with, or that it would have some unnecessary drama added to it to make it 'interesting'. I am quite happy to say that it is not the case! This is the perfect ending to this series, I finally felt a sense of closure when finishing the book. I felt as if it was the right time to say goodbye to them. When I first read The Perfect Game I was taken through an emotional roller coaster of emotions, you can read all about that in my review for that book. I wanted to strangle him for all the pain he put Cassie and himself through, but I will say he won me over once again and even redeemed himself in The Game Changer. The Sweetest Game was THE PERFECT Christmas present! I was so excited to find it on my kindle when I awoke on Christmas day, and dove straight into it. From the start I was hooked and immersed into Cassie and Jack's world, I felt as if I was reunited with long lost friends. We got to a part of their wedding, finally making their love official. We also got to witness what life as a 'baseball wife' is like and the struggles that come with the territory. And what story would be complete without some drama! We get a small scare and drama. This part of the book made me want to choke Jack for the way he was acting. Total jerk mode!! But then again I understood a bit where he was coming from. Never the less we see the transition of their life from dating to marriage and everything that comes afterwards. One of my favorite parts of this book was seeing Dean and Melissa's relationship unfold. I can understand now why J. Sterling said she was having trouble writing a whole book just about these two. But the amount of information she gave us into their relationship seemed like just enough for us to. I felt so bad for Dean, he is so sweet and loving but also somewhat innocent in the way he pursued Melissa. I also understood the anxiety/reluctance coming from Melissa, especially after that deep conversation with Gran and Gramps. Gran and Gramps always seem to know the perfect thing to say to make these guys fall into place and realize what is right in front of them!Overall this book was AMAZING, I might even say is the best out of all three. I think the reason being that we got such a wonderful and perfect ending to their stories. I am beyond thrilled that J. Sterling gave us this book!! If you have NOT read this series I highly recommend it!! Go fall in love with Jack F'n Carter today!P.S. I was so happy that Jack returned to SoCal, but bummed that he did not become a Dodger! hehehe

I'm so happy J. Sterling gave us The Sweetest Game. After being disappointed with book 2 in this series, I was cautious about getting my hopes up for book 3. The Sweetest Game is absolutely worth reading if you're a fan of Jack and Cassie. The story allows us to experience Jack and Cassie's marriage, baseball, and subsequent events. I loved The Perfect Game so reading this made it all that much better for me. I honestly could skip right over book 2 if I ever wanted a Jack and Cassie re-read. If you felt like me after book 2, don't give up, The Sweetest Game is perfectly sweet. They're the same two characters I fell in love in TPG but they're growing up together. They've finally fully embraced one another and the trust they have in their feelings and their relationship. They were strong, Cassie especially. There were times when I thought "Jack is such a fool for his behavior" but Cassie changed that perception. That's Jack; protective, loyal, and fierce. Those qualities are a recipe for a total hot head who doesn't navigate feelings well. Cassie realizes this and does exactly what she knows Jack needs. I finally caught on that Cassie is protective, loyal, and fierce too. Just in a much more reserved, quiet way. Melissa and Dean are back to their story is weaved through Jack and Cassie's. It's really sweet. The whole book is heartwarming and about growing up, realizing what is most important in your life and working to maintain that peace that you've found with your partner. I loved it. The epilogue was fantastic too. The Sweetest Game is an outstanding ending to Jack and Cassie's journey.

Ahhhhh this read was bittersweet for me! While I loved it and and thought it was the perfect ending to Jack and Cassie's story, I was sad knowing it was the final book. Jenn gave us a grand slam letting us experience married life and then some with Jack & Cassie (although Jack did have some momentary douchebaggery behavior when baseball turned on him for a bit) We see Dean and Melissa's wrap up as well. This really was a perfect ending to this series. Jack F'n Carter will always be one of my book boyfriends and I'm ok knowing that whenever I really miss him, he's never more than a reread away :-)

“But I lost you. I had to get you back. Nothing comes easy. I fuck things up. I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before I fuck up baseball too.”Jack and Cassie have been through so much. He has literally punched us in the stomach with some of his life altering decisions he has made. We have experienced the good, the bad, the ugly but most importantly the wonderful side of TRUE LOVE.In the Perfect Game, Jack lost Cassie but eventually was able to win her back. The Game Changer Cassie struggled with Jack’s success and she struggled with her insecurities. The Sweetest Game brings us to the struggles of being a married baseball player, dealing with the politics of the game but most importantly, how important the game is to him as a player but hot the Game could care less about it’s players.I am not ashamed to admit this but I completely ignored my family to read, get sucked into and finish this book.Jack F’N Carter, There are times throughout this book that I wanted to hit him, yell at him and then kiss him! You felt his pain, his struggle and his fear but throughout it all, you always feel his love for Cassie.“I’m Harry Potter, remember? I’m fucking magic!”Cassie, she is in a great place with her work and she is the happiest she has ever been. Her and Jack finally have their happily ever after, that is until they don’t. We all know that relationships aren’t perfect. There are always ups and downs with the good always comes the bad. In this final installment you really see how much both Jack and Cassie have grown, individually and together.“Every moment with you is never enough; I always want more. And I always will.”Of course we have our favorite side kicks... Dean and Melissa. All I have to say is, your curiosity about what is going on with them will be answered and we finally learn what Melissa’s issues are. I fell more in love with Dean. The whole Melissa and Dean situation, my heart and stomach dropped.. I was like "Yes, you go Dean!" For Mel, I felt so bad but at the same time I wanted to smack her! “Oh my God. No.” She pressed the button to unlock the door and I hit it again, just as fast, using the child safety locks to trap her in the car. “You cannot Gran-ify me!”Then we have Gran and Gramps and all of their wonderful humor, kind hearts and fantastic advice! The advice that Gran and Gramps give.. I CRIED!!! Happy tears but I CRIED!“Love is the one thing in this world worth taking a risk for. When you’re older and you look back on the life you lived, you won’t regret the fact that you took the chance to love someone. But you will regret the chances on love you didn’t take. Especially the ones rooted in fear. They’re only scary because you have the most to lose. You feel the most for them. Don’t let the fear of losing love stop you from having the experience altogether.”I don't know how the hell Jenn Sterling does it. Seriously, How does she get Jack F’n Carter to bring my emotions to life the way he does? EVERYTIME! It is insane and honestly the ONLY series that does that to me. Sterling has such a FANTASTIC knack for getting the reader EMOTIONALLY involved, which of course makes for such a wonderful reading experience. We know their past, we live through their present and we get a peek into their future. BEST PART EVER!!!Jenn Sterling has hit a homerun with this one. A Perfect beginning to a Game Changing play that truly ends with The Sweetest Game.Bravo Bravo Bravo!!

Hitting that final page of The Sweetest Game was definitely a bittersweet moment. This final installment to the Perfect Game series was perfectly done and I applaud J. Sterling for giving these two beloved characters the ending they so greatly deserved. This final book was filled with tons of amplified swoon worthy moments which made be completely fall in love with Jack f'n Carter all over again. The love between him and Cassie was clearly demonstrated by selfless acts and professions of their commitment to one another. I thought the author did a fabulous job solidifying their promise of forever. There were some parts in this book that had tears threatening to spill from my eyes;emotionally charging words that had me clenching my hand over my heart. I felt for Cassie and I was so afraid of the road that J. Sterling would take them on. This is exactly what I loved about this book, it had just the right balance to make this believable, almost so believable that I felt I was right there with them. I enjoyed that the author did not leave out the secondary characters we've all loved- Gramps, Gran, Dean & Melissa. They completed this conclusion. I will greatly miss these characters and their wonderful story. But I am so proud and quite frankly relieved (because there have been a couple as of late that have disappointed me)of how J. Sterling closed out their story. Also... I am ecstatic that she gives us an epilogue that leaves the future of this Perfect Game family wide open- one that has me and I'm sure many others excited. From the start of The Perfect Game, I have always rooted for Cassie and Jack F'n Carter and as I close out this review for The Sweetest Game, I continue to be a lifelong fan and will forever root for these two in the sidelines.J Sterling. The Perfect Game.

WOW! Such an amazing end to an amazing series. I absolutely love Jack F’n Carter and Cassie! I saw this book download on my Kindle and as soon as I got it, I literally read it in one sitting, I didn’t care if I was thirsty, had to eat, etc. This was the perfect ending to a series, and to a Christmas day. This story spans a lot of years and starts off with their wedding day, and ends in such an amazing way. There was a part of this book that I wanted to punch Jack in the face, but you understand why he’s doing and saying the things he does, you just wish he wasn’t. Cassie’s love for Jack and Jack’s love for Cassie is just so real, and raw, and you don’t see that “everything is perfect” in this story, you get to see the real sides of relationships and how even when things get tough, if you are in love with that person, you will find ways to make it work.I loved seeing Cassie transition from the “girlfriend” to the “wife” at the games, and how she realized why things were different without the “wife” title, and how she handles herself. She is one strong girl, but stronger with Jack by her side.We also got to see Melissa and Dean.. OMG THANK YOU! I love these two characters and even though you wanted to punch them both a few times, you will be happy with how that story ends as well. We also got to see other characters (the good ones) that have popped up in the other books and see what is going on with them now.Cassie’s realization about who she really is and what she wants in life in this book is so huge! It’s so different then you thought it would be in book one. This story was emotional, funny at times, angering at others, and just an all around must read for everyone. I am sad to see this series come to an end, but couldn’t be happier with how it did end. Such an amazing series and so well written. We may have had to wait for this book, but it definitely was worth it. I am running on 2 hours of sleep today because I just could not put this damn book down!If you loved Jack and Cassie’s story before, you will love them even more after reading this! You will fall in love all over again. Great Job J. Sterling on this amazing series and such a great end to a perfect story!

teaser tangled my fingers through the strands of her long hair, surprised at how soft it always felt. She stirred against me. “Morning, babe,” she said against my chest.“Morning, Kitten.”Her head shot up from my skin, leaving it cold and empty. “Oh my God. Do you remember what we heard last night?” She covered her mouth to stop from laughing too loudly.I had forgotten. “We don’t know what we heard.”“Oh, bullshit! You know as well as I do they were totally having sex in our guest room!”“Maybe they were just playing Monopoly. With their mouths,” I suggested with a smile. She snorted. “Remind me to ask Melissa how Dean plays Monopoly because it sounded like she was really enjoying it.”“That’s ‘cause he’s a Carter,” I said matter-of-factly.“You guys are good at board games?”Smartass.“I’m good at everything. Who knows what Dean’s good at.” I rolled on top of her, pressing my hard-on against her.“No way! I need to shower.”“Let me get you dirty first,” I whispered against her ear, taking the lobe into my mouth and sucking.“How about you come clean me off instead?” SO FREAKIN SHORT . I WANT MOREE -------------------------------Just two words. FREAKIN AWESOME.I want a book with Chance in it :) I want his story :))LOVE IT MS Sterling. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit disappointed that this is the last instalment of Cassie and jaCK but I'm happy that the ending was great. I'm hoping for Chance's boo though :)

“Love is the one thing in this world worth taking a risk for. When you're older and you look back on the life you lived, you won't regret the fact that you took the chance to love someone. But you will regret the chances on love you didn't take. Especially the ones rooted in fear. They're only scary because you have the most to lose. You feel the most for them. Don't let the fear of losing love stop you from having the experience altogether.” This is a good way to end the craptastic series. Marriage changes their life and makes it better. Jack is getting his real priorities and takes part on his responsibility. I can see that the characters grow mature and evolves as time passes by. I might like the series on a different day but today I have love tolerance on cheating (even if it is by force or by trickery).

To be completely honest, I was not looking forward to reading this book at all. I loved the first book and hated the second one. But, I am happy to say that this might just be my favourite out of all three in the series. It had the required drama for Jack and Cassie but there was also HUGE character development from the first book. There was no running away from their problems this time. They faced everything (view spoiler)[(the injury, the trade, the pregnancy, Jack thinking he's an absentee father, and the retirement) (hide spoiler)] head on and as a team.I'm sad to see this series end but will be looking forward to anything else J. Sterling will be writting

I was really excited when I found out there was another book in this series, and I wasn't disappointed in the least!Another glimpse into the lives of Jack and Cassie, Dean and Melissa, and Gran and Gramps...and I loved it!This book goes over a pretty long period of time so you really get to see Jack grow up. Believe me, he can still be a dumbass at times, but even then you have to love him.I absolutely loved the epilogue, but that's all I'm going to write about that ;)This ended their story quite nicely, and what a great story it was!

One of the best conclusions to a series I've read in a long time! I absolutely loved it. And I also loved how the Epilogue was from Chance's perspective. Yeah, dirty as I sound, I totally have a crush on him. I'll definitely miss Jack F'N Carter and his Kitten and the rest of the gang. Round of applause, J. Sterling! You blew my mind. Also, I think this is the perfect casting for 16-year-old Chance!

It's been forever since I started this series. The first book was angst galore but I'm happy to say that the ending, while it had it's share of tension, was much less angsty and really focused on the marriage of Jack and his kitten. I loved getting more Dean and reading about his side story really kept me engaged in the plot when Jack and Cassie's story slowed down. The ending and epilogue deserved a whole star to itself. So flipping sweet.

EEP! Perfect ending to one of my all-time favorite series. I've felt a personal connection with Jack and Cassie's story since day 1 so reading the final installment was bittersweet. This couple went through hell and back and made it out even closer than before. You don't read about such REAL characters very often. So go READ THIS BOOK! Jen Sterling is such a badass :)
