I am a Nightmare On Elm Street fan, so naturally had to get this graphic novel! On the very basics, it consists of two seperate stories. I for one enjoyed the first story more than the second, but hey ho, might be different for everyone else. The first story documents the stereotypical teenager in a horror, who is having nightmares of Freddy and is really worrying these dream sequences. Things become more serious after her brother is incinerated by the hands of the dream demon; she repeatedly sees a young girl who is in fact in an induced coma. She is only able to enter the dream realm when her state rises to R.E.M sleep. Eventually, a huge battle consisting of the teenager and her father against Freddy ensures, with an ending that will pull at your heart strings. The second story is based on an Aztec myth. Again set in a stereotypical school setting, several teenagers are having nightmares consisting of the same dude: Krueger. To confront this and his enemy, a bullied individual seeks revenge in the form of releasing an old Aztec demon, meant to protect the individual who wears the special summoning necklace. Krueger gets pissed at this, but as the story always ends, Freddy is still alive and well, with the police picking up the pieces of another gruesome murder. The art is awesome, particularly a scene with a Japanese anime dream world. Wildstorm did not disappoint on this one! Freddy or horror fan, buy, or even if your being introduced to the genre of graphic novels!"Welcome to my world bitch"

(it's 3.5 stars)Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's A W F U L (and I mean really really BAD) but in the end it's another shot of getting into the ANOES world (which is one of my faves) one more time and you know what? It was worth it.Oh, and by the way, get me some coffee, will ya? Something tells me, I'm not gonna sleep tonight.

I didn't really feel like there was anything new or original here to add to the Freddy lore.
