And while she’s ecstatic to be alive, her troubles are just beginning. She’d hoped to keep her Dentelle status a secret, but that didn’t happen. Once the Guardian Senior Council learns she’s a Dentelle, they begin interfering in all her affairs. Imposing new rules, they even dictate where she’ll live and who she’ll date. As an Amethyst, Lexi was forbidden from dating Guardians, and as a Dentelle she still is, but the Senior Council makes one exception: they are allowing, and even promoting, a relationship between her and Ash. The question is why? While dealing with the nuances of being a Dentelle, warring with the Senior Council, and trying to keep her relationship with Jason – the man she loves and hopes to link with – a secret, a series of harrowing events take precedence. An Amethyst friend is abducted, a person very close to her heart goes missing, and the Ray-pacs resurface, namely, her arch nemesis, Kieran. In order to save someone she loves, Lexi embarks on a perilous, solo journey. Personal sacrifice is her only option, but she hasn’t considered her heart and soul may be in jeopardy, too. Refusing to give up hope, Lexi vows to fight to the end. But can she win the biggest battle of her life and defeat Kieran once and for all?...

What can I say? I just really love this series. It's the kind of story that pulls you in and simply entertains. Bowhay has created a series full of characters that are realistic and familiar along with the villains that you feel yourself actually hating as the story goes on. The more you hate a villain really speaks for how well the characters are written, and I'll tell you, I REALLY hate Bowhay's villains.Another enjoyable aspect is Bowhay's writing style itself. It is smooth and flowing, which adds to the ability to sit down and read such large quantities of the story at a time. The story entertains, the rhythm flows and you simply don't want to stop until it's finished. Unfortunately for me, real life kicks in and I have to stop much more often than I'd like! That all being said, this is a fantasy YA story with a paranormal twist. If that's not your thing, while you might appreciate the style of writing and the voice the author has given her main character, you probably won't like it. However, if you like this sort of story, I would encourage you to go and grab book one and get started! While Dentelle wraps up the story line of this series, it appears as though in the future, Bowhay plans to resurrect the series for a plot twist that she left open-ended. If she does indeed continue the adventures of her Bellingham Circle, I will read the next installment with pleasure.

This book was a little disappointing, I won't lie. I knew that it was going to be a happy ending but it just seemed... flat to me. It's like there was nothing else so the author filled up 1100 pages with filler. When Alex gets (view spoiler)[ "kidnapped"(hide spoiler)] and we have to read about all the outings they go on and the zoo and the store and blah blah blah... I wanted to scream. Nothing was happening. It was like a perpetual state of mild suspense and annoyance. I do have to say that it was quite the twist at the (view spoiler)[ linking with Kieran(hide spoiler)] when Jason showed up. And the fact that (view spoiler)[ she could multi0link.(hide spoiler)]A HUGE gripe about this book is the editing, or lack there of. All through the series, anywhere the word "anyway" was supposed to be, the word "anywayS", with an S every time, took its place. I found this absolutely bone deep annoying. This is supposed to be a YA book, and people don't talk or think like 12 year old girls when they're in college. It made it really hard to stay in the folds of the story. All in all, however, the series was quite enjoyable and the premise was unique. Do I regret reading this series? No. Am I heart broken that it's over and I'm finished with it? No. I enjoyed it. Who knows, maybe I'll even reread it at some point.

I’m so glad I decided to explore a new genre, and downloaded Amethyst to my Kindle. I couldn’t put it down, and had to get the 2nd book in the series, Linked, right away. Since finishing Linked, I’ve been anxiously awaiting this 3rd installment, Dentelle. This story went a direction I wasn’t expecting, but kept me on the edge of my seat. Lexi’s interactions with the Guardian Council are Priceless! Kieran, Ray-pac leader and Lexi's arch nemesis, will make you want to throw the book (or Kindle) across the room, with his delusions, and the decisions he forces Lexi to make. I know this is slotted as the final book, and that this series is only supposed to be a trilogy, but I really think between the Guardian Council, the lost / stolen journals…and Neo (we can’t forget about him) there seems to be enough to give us a 4th book in this series. I have enjoyed reading each book so far, and I know I would be more than happy to read more about Lexi, Jason, Ash, Madison and all the other characters we’ve been introduced to so far.Wonderful characters and a very well written story…I highly recommend this series.

Ok. That's it. I couldn't even get through this book. SPOILER ALERT AHEAD!!!So, conveniently there's this Gauntlet to get through that lets you join the Senior Council if you complete it. Really? REALLY?!!! And, once again, everyone just conveniently "forgets" that there's this Gauntlet which is actually the highlight of the entire freakin' retreat that they're on? Oh, please. I just can't take it anymore. I'm done. I've had enough with these convenient things that just pop up and don't just make any sense. What idiots would give a position on the Senior Council for completing a Gauntlet? That's like the president letting someone into congress because they're born smart and pass a test; it just doesn't make sense!! There is no way I can force myself through the rest of this novel. I tried. It's not happening.

There is no such word as "ANYWAYS!!!" Honestly, throughout the entire series I was sidetracked by this word as every character seems to use it in every other sentence. And it does not exist. Even the rich old lady who leaves money to the main character writes the word in her letter... Come on!!! This poor lexicon detracted from the story in a major way, and I can't give it 3 stars because I literally could not stop saying, "IT'S ANYWAY! AND SAYING THIS WORD IS OVERUSED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT."

This book was difficult to get through. I felt there was too much pointless filler and nothing really happened until the last few chapters. I was only able to finish because I've come to like the characters and I wanted to know what happens in the end. With that said, I enjoyed the last few chapters and appreciated the ending. But overall, I don't feel like this was a strong ending to the series.

Absolutely fantasticI just had to Read the third book Dentelle after Reading the first and second and I loved it. I was hooked on the first page with all 3. Heather Bowhay sure can tell a story. I was rooting for the good guyed and booing the bad from day one. I hope there will be a next one in the series, I know I am being greasy, but I loved every word. Please write a next in the series. Thank you for such a breathtaking read.

Dentelle, the third, and final book(?) on the Guardian series. Lexi, will learn who powerful an Dentelle truly is ( Interesting fact: Bios Dentelle, only two trees of this species remain in the natural world, just like Lexi is the last living Dentelle and maybe Jason has the potential on become an Dentelle himself.) Bowhay writes with such amazing details, the reader can picture everything that happens so easily. An extraordinary story teller, who not only created a great plot but whose characters intrigues complex emotions, that makes the reader really get fond of them.. The author sure has the flair for writing. The story of Mrs. Zimmerman was a great addition to the story, it made me laugh and cry so much. I really would love a fourth book, I want Neo along with all the Ray-pacs gone. Amazing Series. Bowhay has gain a fan. 5 Stars.

Definitely recommend this trilogy it's a great read Third day third book and Heather definitely did not disappoint!! I thought this last of the trilogy books was packed with a lot more suspense or maybe it was just the way she captured and captivated my attention while building up to the final battle with those nasty tapas. This was definitely a great way to end the series with Alex and Jason but still leaving herself open to start a new series with these characters by leaving an opportunity and opening for them to explore . Like all the previous books I highly recommend this author and this series

The stakes get even higher in this book. Jason finally admits his feelings, but it is almost too late and then the bad guy take Lexi and it looks like everything she has dreamed of is going to end. Even though she is one of the strongest of them, little does she know what she is capable of until she is pushed to the breaking point and then she discovers she is something no one has ever seen before and then things get really freaky and I loved it. Yay! Girls kicking some bad guys butt. I was so glad to see Keiran Black meet his match. Love, love, loved it!

Lexi is just a wonderful character. She goes from one friend to many who understands what she is going through. Learning her skills and using them to her advantage brings her danger and mystery. Her love life has been so confusing yet they find time to be together even though the odds are stacked against them. Lexi will show you that even though you're different and the odds are stacked against you you can prevail. Great book and even better series. Find Lexi and her friends in the Guardian Series. Laugh, cry and watch as danger finds its way into your heart.

True flairmatesIf you have read the prior books and it's reviews you will know I highly recommend this series and this book. The conclusion was explosive. Alex is a person you want to admire and hope that even without powers would love to be like. It does not hurt that she had amazing friends, family, and love of her life. The guardians show us what helping others without expectations is really about. So pick this book and enjoy it.

Yet another Brilliantly gripping read. This series has been such a pleasure to read. The characters are so likable. Although Kieran was vile & Made my skin crawl. I certainly hope that Heather Bowhay enjoys a break with her family but then comes back to give us the 4th book in this series as I for one would be delighted to read more about Lexi, Jason, Ash & the other guardians. For now I will be highly recommending this series to others.

Captivating! this is a wonderful trilogy with room to expand. I can truly see myself reading this over and over again. good book for preteens on up. The only issue I had with this series were all of the editing errors. but if you can get past a misplaced word here and there you will be fine. I will be recommending this book to anyone looking for a new book to sink their teeth into.

Up until this book, I have loved the series. While the storyline is still fluid and runs well, it is almost like this book was never checked for errors. I have problems reading any book which is filled with typos and grammatical mistakes, but that is probably an occupational hazard. Regardless, four stars for the storyline - it would have been a five star review if only the book had been properly edited prior to publication.

I know my review is late, but I picked up this book as soon as it came out! I so anticpated the book. The author took me for a long and exciting ride. I was slightly disappointed in the ending. I so wanted something more to happen, like an epilogue involving children or something, but it does appear that there just might be a teaser for something else down the line.

I love this series, but this book is the weakest of the three. The majority of the plot takes place with very few people and only one perspective. This slowed the pace, for me, and I lost interest. If you liked the others, you will probably read this just to see how the whole story ends, so go ahead because the ending is worth it.

Great series but this book just can't be the last one. Ms. Bowhay, your readers need to know if Neo is caught, what happens with Madison and Ash, what about Carlos and Lexi and Jason need to get married and maybe have a kid. I think there is at least one more book that needs to be written - please write it.

I did not, DID NOT want this book to end! The characters were all likeable in their own ways. The story line kept me engaged. This series had a potential to be longer than a trilogy! I'm so sad it's over!

Beautiful ending to one of the most unique and interesting books I have EVER read! Recommend to anyone who wants to read something different, and is fed up of the usual vampire, dystopia, witches books!

What a great ending to the series. It was full of action, twists, and love. There were some parts of the story I thought were a little too drawn out, but the main fight scene was exciting. I thought the series was overall a really good young-adult paranormal trilogy.

What a fantastic book! An Awesome end to the series, would be great to read more about Jason and Lexi to see if they will be taking out more ray pacs or having a family. I'm so glad I read these books.

Good ending to the books, not sure if the author is going to continue with this series or if its going to end, it could go either way. The book ended on a good note though, and I would recommend this as an easy read, fun, hot summer day on the beach kind of read.

I did like this book quite a bit. It's a quick, enjoyable read. It's a bit effusive and I got bogged down a bit in some of the moments of cheese-laden romance. For all that, it was worth the couple hours it took me to read this book.

The story is good but the author becomes a bit verbose. At times I felt the characters were 15 or 16 years of age instead on 19-21. As a parent of a 22 year old, these characters appear a bit immature.

Things seemed to drag in this one a little, but a definite improvement in grammar (no more anywayS!!!) though a couple of editing misses. Overall, I think it's a good, clean series for the ya crowd.
