A sweet and beautiful book with a gentle message of self-confidence as we see the daffodil grow up and show off his spotty petals with pride! The use of a soft watercolour pallet for the art ties in well with the gentleness and delicacy of the writing. Truly gorgeous.

Such a lovely children's book! I think that the story about accepting differences concerns every young reader. The beautiful pictures are also leading the book to a higher level.
