I was sent this direct from the author and publisher in exchange for an honest review. This story is about Abi, she is getting married and wants to go on a hen party before the wedding. She decides she wants to go to Ibiza with the girls on a week long holiday and feels she can tie this in nicely with perhaps the last girly holiday she will be having. Rob her fiancé isn’t too thrilled with her going to Ibiza, however she goes. Along with her closest friends and Rhiannon, Rhiannon is Robs business partners wife, Abi doesn’t know her that well, however she ends up inviting herself. I was worried as when I was sent the copy I was only given 5 days to read it and write the review and sometimes if a book is a bit slow or not engaging me I find this hard to read so quick. I should not have been worried with this book, I couldn’t put it down. I read it in 2 days and was sad when it came to an end. The story is gripping from the start and shows good features of a chick lit novel, it is an easy read and captures you though out. It begins almost half way through the book with Rob, Abi’s fiancé turning up at Abi’s hotel in Ibiza, shouting at her, calling the wedding off. The story then goes back in time to tell you what has happened up until this point and then continues on. I felt this was done very well, it wasn’t confusing, and it made you want to read to find out what had happened. Like I said before gripping from the start. I felt I could relate to Abi and her friends, and the characters were well developed. I was unsure about why Abi’s mum was included, she seemed to have a minor part to play in the story. This however was made clear the further into the story I came. The story captured me, I felt I knew Abi and her friends, I felt I was with her in Ibiza and part of the Hen chicks. I learnt to hate Rhiannon and hoped she would get her comeuppance. The only negative thing I have to say about this novel is around the 200 page mark I felt Katina Jones insulted her characters, especially Abi. I get the impression that Abi and her friends are in their 20’s and she comes out with the comment: ‘she wants us to go and have a fight with them. On the beach for some reason. Who’s Churchill by the way?’ I thought this comment was silly as I am in my mid 20’s and I knew this statement and who Churchill was, I don’t think I would be alone in that either. This turned me off the characters slightly, which is a shame as I love the book. If it was meant to be a humorous comment I also feel this didn’t come across well as throughout the book there were no other comments like this. However it quickly picked up again and there were no further comments like this, I was able to fall in love with the characters again and was taken on more of a mystery for the further part of the book. I thought this was clever on Jones’ part, she had written a chick lit book with a crime reference and it worked very well. Again I was hooked as I wanted to find out if we would ever get a happy ending. There were many characters that come and go in the book, however all of these have a relevant reason to be there and effect the storyline accordingly. I really enjoyed this book and would urge others to read it. It was a quick read for me, I only wish it was longer! Thank you very much Imprint and Katina for sending me the book and I can’t wait to read your next one. You will love this is you like Lindsey Kelk books. SOS! I love you is going to be out this summer.

It’s going to be a scorching summer in Ibiza when this outrageous band of hen-party girls arrive for a sizzling week of sun, sea and sangria. Things don’t go quite to plan, though and the girls soon find themselves up to their bikini bottoms in all kinds of trouble.I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to anyone. I was hooked from the moment Abi’s boisterous and unapologetic voice burst onto the page. She is an interesting protagonist and has been deftly set up as the reader’s friend and confidante. Abi invites us into her world through witty asides and outrageous observations - she never sets out to win the reader’s favour, but her no holds barred account of events shocks you into submission.SOS! I Love You is also paced well. The reader is hurled into the story, but there is enough unsaid for the book to remain compelling. The action starts at the airport and we are flung straight into the arms of Abi’s flamboyant friends.I think this book has a lot of potential in today’s market. The main draw of this story is definitely Abigail’s unique voice, a hilarious cast of characters, and the escapist Ibiza setting. Can’t wait to read more about these characters in the sequel!

If only I had a vacation on the hot sands of Ibiza--or anywhere else--to read SOS! I LOVE YOU! Instead, it warmed up a rainy June day at home, as I followed the "hens" for the week-long bachelorette party in Ibiza just before Abi's wedding to Rob. Could anything ruin such a week? How about if Rob himself shows up, then disappears; a jealous friend schemes behind Abi's back; and Abi's mom herself comes along and has a fling with an older Danish gentleman? This book is a well-told romp that you won't want to put down because something might happen while you're gone. SOS! I Love You is the first of our Girls Night Out imprint at You're going to love this book!

A fabulous, funny and exciting read as a group of girls head out to Ibiza for a week in the sun. Bride-to-be Abigail is looking forward to her last chance to let her hair down before her upcoming marriage. Her friends don't need any excuse. But things don't go according to plan - a skeleton from Abi's past re-appears and her world comes crashing down. A scintillating page-turner crammed with unforgettable characters and non-stop action to boot.

This compelling and humorous read is ideal for the beach, but could be enjoyed anywhere.I loved the main character, Abi, and her fiesty group of friends. They think they're in for a hen-holiday of sun, beach, men and alcohol. Yes, they get all those things in their week long trip to Ibiza...but a lot more besides. One of the hens is out to destroy Abi and some new friends are not quite who they say they are in this fast paced, easy to read Chick Lit, that has comedy and mystery galore.Well worth a read and I'm looking forward to the sequel.

The book labelled as 'chicklit' appealed to me as I do like a light read with a happy ending to 'escape' into and this was what I hoped for and more. A group of friends on a Hen-holiday, freed from the constraints of their everyday lives with different personality traits that I could attach to my own friends! As the story began to unfold however there were glimpses that this light-hearted tale had darker undertones with hints of skeletons ready to leap from closets and characters who were more than willing to unlock the doors...SOS I Love You was like having an open box of chocolates ... I just couldn't leave it alone and while most of the contents were sweet there were one or two that you just don't like!!I liked the teaser for 'Sealed With A Kiss' at the end and I'm looking for reading Abigail's next episode and getting to know her better!

This fab book is a joy from start to finish - a kind of 'Bridget Jones goes to Spain on a Hen Party' with lashings of Welsh-style wit, warmth and humour thrown in. I particularly liked the central "voice" of Abigail, with its chatty, stroppy, affectionate observations on just about everything from the pecadillos of her fellow hens (I loved Molly's 'feeder' boyfriend with the flesh perversion!) to inventive ways to shut up her own boyfriend Rob (book him in for a Back, Sac and Crack, lol!). The choice of Ibiza as a setting is inspired - as is the "mystery thriller" element which makes this so much more than your usual standard chick-lit fare. Great fun, highly recommended!

Maybe it's my age but I was a little put off by the title of this book and the fact that it all takes place in Ibiza on a hen party. However being that Katina is a local author and SoS!I love you was recommended to me by a friend I thought I'd download to kindle and give it a go. I fell in love with the typical Welsh humour and the characters. It is funny, heartwarming and the characters are very believable and well constructed. I now look forward to reading more from Katina Jones.

I did enjoy this book. Its a good book about a woman's last vacation with the girls before she gets married. However she runs into some trouble before she ever finishes the vacation. I liked the way the book ended as well. I won a copy of this book in the goodreads giveaway.
