WHAT?! That's seriously where you leave off, when I have no more books ?? Wow, heart pounding, breath taking, zombie story that you LOVE to HATE! UGH.. I am freaking out now! I need to know what happens. Haven't read these yet? Start at the beginning, you can't put them down!

Yet again the author has managed to create a book which doesn't begin to get old. By this I mean the story isn't repeating anything from previous books. Instead we have even more twists, turns and curveballs thrown into the mix. This book begins with Canada and Jake going to search for Will. He has run off after seeing something he shouldn't, and misreading the situation. Thanks to Sara, Canada finds her life once again in turmoil. But what has become of Sara? The beginning of the book suggests Canada may have gone a little too far, but is all as it would appear? Is this just another ruse by someone to make her believe she is capable of things she didn't do? A way of getting her away from her family and friends?Either way Canada makes a split second decision, one which will change the course she is on dramatically. She runs, leaving behind her family, protecting her family she thinks, but is she putting herself in even more danger? Unfortunately the answer to that becomes abundantly clear when she is reunited with Jake. From this moment on the story becomes a much different fight for survival in Canada's case. The story becomes a fight for personal survival, not against the zombies, but someone she believed she knew, someone whose true personality was so well hidden by the author that I honestly didn't see it coming! We see a much more vulnerable side of Canada in this book. What she goes through, what she has to endure, is something we haven't seen before in this series. Yes she has had injuries at the hands of the zombies, but what she is subjected to now is something different. Yet underneath it all the strong woman we have come to love is still there. It takes time, but it does show eventually.Near the end of the book we find out far more about Jake, the zombie problem, and what exactly his real story is! And what a story it turns out to be.Just when we think the problem may be solved the author throws in another curveball - reading between the lines and seeing what isn't written may help you to figure it out! But then I was privileged enough to beta read this book as it was being written, I was able to understand a little about how this authors mind works, and therefore am able to spot things perhaps other readers won't!I am so in love with this series, and the author, and her ability to write stories which have drawn me in totally. I look forward to what happens next!

This is book four in the series about Canada and her family trying to survive in a post zombie apocalyptic world. I really liked books 1 and 2 a lot. Book 3 was not my favorite because I don't like Jake. I don't like how he takes advantage of Canada. This is a sign of a good writer that she can craft her characters so well that they live and breathe and jump off the page. Will has taken off and Canada and Jake go off to try to find him. Canada acts in ways that scare her family. I like the bad-ass, crazy Canada. I like her strong, take-charge attitude. Bad things happen. Revelations are made. More survivors are found. And there is plenty of zombie killing action. This book is so exciting and scary! It has got to be the best of the four books. I loved books 1 and 2 so much but this one is even better. This one was amazing. I seriously loved it.

I loved it... There wasn't as much zombie killing as in the others but you learn how it started. Always good to know... Poor Canada goes to hell and back but that bad ass woman is a fighter and although it may look like she had given up the fact that she's still alive shows that she hasn't. Can't say I'm sad about Sara seemshow I've been dying for that to happen but just wow about Jake...What an Ass... I was always unsure of him but I never would have thought this.. We get introduced to Vickie in this on one and her Witch of a sister. Ugh... Vicki is a sweetheart though and good thing for Nick. I'm really somehow hoping that that was her family but who knows... sitting on pins and needles here wanting to know.. lol... I can't wait for book 5! This series is a definite Must read!! Great job C.M.!!!

I’ve been following this series for a while now. In my opinion, this is the best entry, hands down. C.M. has subjected her characters to a gauntlet of drama and captured a level of raw emotion throughout the book that will have you turning page after page. I read this very quickly as I absolutely had to find out what was going to happen next. This book is dark, brutal, and reveals a great deal about the characters. I felt there were some minor issues with some of the character interactions, but they were all minor and did not detract from the overall work. I am so glad I stuck with the series after the first book as this was truly a good read, and I look forward to the next.

This series must be read in order! They pick up right in the action every time kinda like an old fashioned radio series. The first book is Dying To Live (Zombie Overload Series). The second book is Fighting To Live (Zombie Overload Series). The third book is Learning To Live (Zombie Overload Series).Madness seems to abound in this book as the mayhem escalates and some questions are answered as others arise. I really think Will needs to be kept on an actual leash as at the beginning of this book poor Canada is stuck (with her broken foot in a cast and on crutches I might add) going to search for her missing husband yet again! I love Canada but I am starting to think she has really bad taste in men :)This installment is all about Will, Jake, and Canada. It takes place way away from the little community that Canada has been building with the grand search for Will being the focus. Humor, suspense, dark comedy, action, adventure and romance all flesh out this book nicely. This book delves into thriller and horror territory left much untouched in the earlier books (unless you count the zombies).I really love this series an am HUNGRY FOR MOOOOOOORE! Brains!!!! Err I mean books.... he he . I would recommend this series to horror fans and zombie fans... not to mention action and adventure fans (as long as they like zombies) Yes the protagonist is a girl ... yes she is bad ass... Canada is Awesomeness!!! No other series is anything like this one and I can't wait to read more!*** This series is suitable for adult readers only

This was a gift from the author C.M. Wright and all I can as is these books just keep getting better! I read it from start to finish in three hours, couldn't put it down! Canada is a woman who is a slightly overweight, average wife and mother thrust into a situation beyond her control. As each book came out she got stronger and more capable of protecting her family and friends. Now in this book she finds herself in a situation that no one saw coming, she is now not only fighting for her life against zombies, she has to fight for her life against someone she thought she could trust. As far as books go I think this is the best one so far and if it's any indication book 5 will be even more awesome.

HOLY SHIT!!!!! ok I cant really say anything without giving something away but HOLY SHIT CM!!!! I was not expecting you to drop this kind of bomb. Wow...its really gonna take me a min to let all that soak in. wtf is still spinning around my head. You really put Canada thru the ringer not just physically or emotionally but psychologically. and jake....wowzer....just wow. he set all of us on edge from the beginning but all thay was CRAZY! I hope larry found his wife and that he was able to contact Canadas family. And now we have Vickie and Nick to worry about. I dont know when u expect to have book 5 out. I hope yesterday! Nice touch throwing in Eric Ashers book :) its on my tbr. amazing job with this story lady and there were less errors in it than the last books.

Okay enough of Jake he has mental issues in my opinion and I do not feel one bit sorry for Canada, she deserves what she gets due to her former decisions in the prior books. I absolutely hated the way this book ended and now I have to read the next book to see what happens. I dont give spoilers so I suggest you grab a copy and read the book as a matter of fact you should read the series

Not my favorite in the series. I still loved it. I just didn't like that Jake became a total crazed lunatic. Can't wait to see what the next book brings.

This series never gets old. It does not repeats itself at all. I don't usually like zombie books, but this series has me hooked from page one. You can't help feel for the characters, be scared for them, be elated when they survive hardships. It is all in Canada's perspective, but it makes the story flow. Sometimes we see it from others perspective, but it does not make you get lost from the plot.I would definitely recommend this to readers. Will Canada go mad with revenge? Or will she still be able to carry on?

Determined To Live by C.M. Wright is the fourth episode in the Zombie Overload Series. This book is much darker that the previous episodes. Yes, it still has the sarcastic humor I love so much, but in this episode, the Zombies are the least of the worries. I cringed and recoiled so many times for poor Canada. Well written and edge of my seat, all the way through!
