Eight Celtic Festivals, eight authors each bringing a unique twist to their story. This anthology has something for everyone. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

These 8 short stories, all with adult themes, have been very well written. In my opinion they are all 4 or 5* however, the quality of the writing ensures that I give this book a very worthy overall 5* review.Crimson BeatI loved the first book Crimson Beat. I seriously could have read a whole book full of short stories about Josie Hawk the huntress who shared the ownership of a bar with Sage. To complicate matters further, Josie has a thing for Sage’s brother Cross. If you like vampires and other creatures from the dark side then I think this is brill. *****Belcane FiresWhen Sorcha a 35 year old virgin witch meets Cormac the Druid then watch this space… ****Blade’s MagicWhen Danie has visions about Maxfield Blade from a different world the adventure begins. Maxfield is being pursued by a Siren name Aileann. Can Maxfield and his allies defeat his father’s reign of terror? ****Shore’s EdgeIreland 1170 – When Saoirse’s father plans to make a truce for her hand in marriage to their enemy MacCrohan, she runs away. Fate ensures she meets Ronan, a selkie from the sea. Saoirse is desperate for a way out of the marriage and makes a plan to use Ronan. The plot gets more complex when it seems Ronan’s sister has been taken by MacCrohan. A clever little tale. *****The PicnicWhen Morgan and Ava meet in the woods they are immediately attracted, but that isn’t the only thing they have in common. Together they want to save the woods that could be destroyed. ****Shadows in the DarkLouise and Rebecca are involved in incantations. This leads Rebecca to briefly visit a Viking village. On her return both worlds collide when ghosts from the past to her home. *****Magic in MemphisAs one door closes another one opens. Victoria Anne Bryant who has recently lost her Grandmother works in marketing and public relations. She then meets James Wellington in Atlanta. After Vix falls in love with James (who is in a long term relationship) it appears there is no future for the couple until they meet again in Memphis. ****Brigid’s FlameRiver is an author who has had one successful book and is suffering from writer block. This makes his relationship with Brie tense. Then he discovers the Goddess Brigid and tries an element of magic to find his new story. *****

Whew. Reading this just makes me want to pounce on someone, perhaps someone Irish. But anyways, yeah, these stories are quite sexy! Best erotic tales I’ve read in quite some time, but more importantly each story has a beautiful plot and wonderful characters. Despite the short length of each story there is great development in all of them. These short stories follow the Celtic holidays and are woven together to form a “tapestry” of stories. In the first story, Josie, a punkish tutu wearing paranormal hunter, seeks out a treaty between the nasties of the night and those on the good side. All the while struggling with her feelings for a vampire. The second story, one of my favorites, follows Sorcha --- and that scene in the water? Can anyone say sexy…but, oh wait, you have to read the book first to get what I mean, but yeah, I promise you….it’s hot! Well, Sorcha is a witch that is ready to walk through the Beltane fires and become a mother. She wishes upon the moon, or performs a spell if you will, that she will meet a man. She ends up meeting a druid in need, and makes a bargain with him she might not be able to keep. The stories continue on following these Celtic holidays. I’d detail them all, but I don’t want to give away too much! It’s a really lovely read and I enjoyed it *smirk* NOT IN THAT WAY. Okay, maybe a little bit!

I was given a review copy in exchange for an honest review, and honest I will be. I loved it! I am a great fan of short story collections, having been in some myself, and this one is themed, well put together, well edited and thoroughly enjoyable. I love the cover and enjoyed each story. My favourite story is Crimson Beat, I loved the sassy writing that reminded me of Evanovich's character, Stephanie Plum but instead of taking in bail skippers, she takes down supernatural baddies. These stories are ideal coffee break reads, and a great short escape when you don't have time for a full length novel. I shall be watching the writer's progress with interest and I wish every success with this brilliant book.

First, I need to say that putting these 8 authors together was GENIUS!! I had read a few before and a few I hadn’t. I think that’s why I like anthologies. You can find a while new plethora of authors to stalk in here! Each has a short story with the base of Irish culture but so many different other aspects to chose from. Magic and mayhem lol! Each story will give you a whole different view.I can’t pick a favorite either because I love then all! But heads up, we’ve got adult themes here! Nothing like a bunch of HAWT Irish male pieces to get you all hot and bothered! Every author has there own writing style, so there’s bound to be a least one story to suit your tastes! Plus, they were all fun! Not a single one was slow or uninteresting, they all had me waiting to read more and smiling when it was over, wishing for just a little bit more! I vote you guys should all try this book out, especially if you’re on the hotter romance side with some awesome paranormal thrown in there!! A WONDERFULLY MAGICAL IRISH 5 PAWS!!!

I was given an ARC in exchange of an honest review. This collection of adult short stories is like a rollercoaster. Some of the stories are fantastic and make you read fast, and other stories make you say "meh..." Why? Because the pace was too slow and the characters a bit lame. But I am sure that with a bit more of work, they can be extraordinary, since the premises are good ones. I enjoyed reading most of these adult, some erotic, some paranormal short novellas set in different settings, but all of them related to the Celtic tradition. Very different voices all joined together in this collection. It's a very interesting and overall entertaining read.

I love the way this collection fits together. I enjoyed the magical elements to each story. It was fun to read. I kept thinking while reading, anything can happen if you believe. I love the seasonal aspects of each story and the way each story was on a special Wiccan holiday. The tone of the authors fit together nicely, it almost flowed as a single book instead of 6 different ones. I applaud each author as well as Moon Rose Publishing for putting this lovely collection together.
