She was to grow up in their exclusively werewolf society, learn the ways of her people, with their ability to shape and bend metals to their will. Later, when she was old enough, she would be mated to Nick, the Alpha's son, and go to Geneva, to confront the ruling Council of wolves, and demand a seat to represent the Ironborn alongside the other six most common elements. Aura and Nick are, as far as anyone knows, the first seventh-generation Ironborn ever to exist, making them the only wolves of their kind who can stand up and claim legitimacy for their people. No pressure. But when the plans of her pack close in around her, Aura has to make a choice, not only between her life of freedom and her duty to her people, but between the honorable man she knows her heart should belong to and the deadly and powerful wolf who has begun to steal it for his own....

The Ironborn Claim Reviews
*I was given this book for an honest review. What do you do when you feel like your life is spiraling out of control? That is exactly how our heroine Aura feels. Aura and Nick are the seventh generation Ironborn wolves, and they have been groomed all their lives to go before the Council and finally have the Ironborn wolves recognized. Sounds easy, right? Not so for our heroine. She decides to take matters into her own hands and makes a decision that will ultimately change the course our main characters were on.This new course our warriors are on brings them in contact with a Shadowborn wolf named Orlando, but being around Orlando has it own issues. One of the issues with Orlando is that he is an anomaly even among wolves. Being an anomaly has its perks and disadvantages for Orlando, but mainly disadvantages. Another issue with Orlando is how his presence is causing mixed feelings for Aura. Which man does she choose? The man that is safe and comfortable, or the man that is exciting and electrifying.I have to admit, I enjoyed reading this book immensely. The authors did an incredible job of weaving the characters history throughout the book so the reader could easily understand the reasoning behind the characters motives. I also enjoyed that this book was written in third person omniscient. Being able to read what each character was thinking was quite welcoming. This point of view also allowed me to better understand Aura's thinking and helped me not to be so judgmental of her. I LOVED how the authors were able to end this book in such a way that will make the readers WANT to read the next book. This is a wonderful book and worth the read!!
While I haven't completed the entire book yet, I've already had multiple heart attacks that synchronize with the highs and lows of this novel. I instantly fell in love with the characters and the way the authors depict werewolves is like nothing you've ever seen; they truly bring a new form of literary monster to light in a way that makes them lovable. I love this novel so far and I can't wait to see what happens to the characters that have quickly become my friends. Plus, this book is free, you can't get much better than free books!
I can't really review this book very accurately, because I helped write it. I'm pretty fond of it, though, so I do recommend at least checking it out. I promise this is not your teenage daughter's werewolf book. It is our take on the nature of werewolves not just as tortured men and women living under some kind of curse once a month, but as thinking and feeling individuals in a society as fully complex as our own. We hope you enjoy it and the sequels, The Heartborn Mate and The Lightborn Queen.
