Speaking Your Truth Volume III: Courageous Stories from Inspiring Women Reviews
Speaking Your Truth "Courageous Stories from Inspiring Women" Volume 3 and the other 2 books in the series are anthologies that opened a forum where women could speak from places of fear, loss, illness, tragedy, triumph, courage, recovery, and in most cases resolution. The evolution of the writers (approx 40 per book) is the driving force behind the stories they share. As each one unfolds, as different as the authors themselves, remarkable women reveal themselves to the reader. I was privileged to be one of those contributing authors. "Still" was my chapter dealing with the onset of Meningitis, its physical effect on my life, specifically the deafness which remained once I woke from a month long coma. I encourage anyone who is facing a challenge or has faced loss or illness to seek comfort in this and the others in the trilogy - you are not alone.
An amazing collection of inspirational stories. Read slowly to savor and learn. Remarkable courage for these women to put their stories out there.
