This biography begins much earlier with his long search for a profession, his five-year voyage around the world on the Beagle, and the decades-long intellectual journey he made in his study and garden. But it is for his theory about the origin of man and natural selection that he is remembered. His book threw the scientific community into a heated debate that continues today, and has made evolutionary biology one of the liveliest areas of science. This new biography looks at the person behind the controversy whose earth- shaking discoveries and ideas remain as exciting and interesting as today's headlines. Charles Darwin: And the Evolution Revolution by Rebecca Stefoff was an interesting biography about Charles Darwin that told of his life from his childhood to his death and beyond. I learned a lot about Darwin and his ideas about evolution. I would reccomend this book to a friend who might want to learn more about Darwin.

Actually pretty good so far, as long as your interested in evolution and Charles Darwin. It's a lot like other easy science reads, but the facts are interesting, and gives an OK idea of his back story.

Darwin'e yeni adım atanlar, anlamaya çalışanlar için, fazlasıyla bilgilendirici ve akıldaki soruları kısa versiyon olmasına rağmen güzelce cevaplayan bir kaynak..

Darwin'i, evrim teorisini tanımak için güzel bir biyografi. Teknik bilgiye sahip olmayan insanlar da rahatlıkla okuyabilir.
