Running Northwest Reviews
I loved it the first time I read it and I loved it more this time.Michael, I know, has had problems with editing and stuff and to my eye it could still use a bit of a polish but the fact is that this is a brilliant love story. The characters come alive as you read and you are behind them all the way. The descriptions are enough to make you want to pack your bags and head out there.I may be wrong but I think a lot of the background story is based on life experience and I, for one, would really love to see a sequel so that we can learn how things work out.Excellent read..
This is an excellent read. It has a little bit of something for everyone. Romance, mystery, trauma and descriptions of scenery that will take your breath away. The relationship between Thomas and his son Daniel is heart warming. There are some really good characters that you will love and what to know more about. I would recommend this book to anyone.
This book had everything I love in a good read! Emotion, romance, suspense, drama... I could go on. I absolutely fell in love with the characters, right from the beginning. They are all very likeable and relate-able. I will be reading Running Northwest again, I could not put it down! Not to mention the detailed descriptions of the scenery... I really would like to visit Oregon someday now!
kindle - I would have given this book a 4 star rating but this version (April 29/2012) was I don't think even edited, major grammatical errors on every page. It was a good story and I read all 480 pages. I noticed the other day there was a more recent copy released (August 7 / 2012) I can only hope that the corrections were made.It is a story about love, loss and finding love again, set in Oregon, the author made me want to visit the area, with the beautiful descriptions.
